iKON's 'TAKE OFF' World Tour Launches with Spectacular 2-Day Concert in Seoul

iKON successfully kicked off their first major world tour, ' TAKE OFF, ' on May 5 and 6 in Seoul.

iKON lit up Jangchung Arena over the weekend on the first stop of their 2023 World Tour ' TAKE OFF ' in hometown Seoul, successfully filling the arena on their 2-day show. iKON once again proved their high-level live performance skills, with each show lasting for approximately 3 hours, providing a complete blast party for fans iKONICs.

Celebrities were also spotted at the concert.  SHINee 's Minho , P1Harmony 's Theo and Jongseob , labelmate LIMELIGHT 's Gaeun, and celebrity friends of members Junhoe and Chanwoo they worked with as actors showed their support for iKON .

This also marks the group's first concert after transferring to 143 Entertainment . The members can't help but well up at the sight of the fans, who they called as the reason why the group was able to stay together. During the concert's ment time, the members of iKON openly expressed their genuine emotions, sharing heartfelt moments with the audience.

Continuing their world tour,  iKON is set to visit parts of Asia, America, and Europe for their ' TAKE OFF ' World Tour throughout the year. Catch iKON in one of these cities!

Path to Entrance

The way to the Theatre entrance is to use Stout Street for access, either from Speer Avenue or from 14th Street. You do not enter the main Convention Center building and will be stopped from doing so.

Due to the expansion of the Colorado Convention Center our parking garage capacity has been reduced. You may need to find alternative parking. There are many lots and garages around the Convention Center so please plan ahead or plan to ride share or use public transportation.

iKON Announces 1st Batch Of Cities For Upcoming "TAKE OFF" World Tour

iKON has shared more details about their upcoming world tour!

Early this month, iKON announced that their first steps with their new agency 143 Entertainment were a world tour and a solo comeback for Bobby.

At midnight KST on March 17, iKON announced details for their upcoming concert in Seoul along with basic date and city details for their additional stops. iKON’s “TAKE OFF” world tour kicks off in Seoul with a two-night concert on May 5 and 6 at Jangchung Arena.

Later in May, iKON will perform in Taipei and Tokyo. In June, the group will visit Manila, Madrid, Essen, Florence, and Singapore, before stopping by Paris, Osaka, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur in July.

The tour will kick back up in September for iKON’s U.S. leg which includes shows in New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Dallas, and Los Angeles.

Bobby’s will drop his new song “Cherry Blossoms” on March 20 before releasing his full single album on March 21 at 6 p.m. KST. As a group, iKON is scheduled to perform at KCON 2023 Thailand this weekend and KCON 2023 Japan in May.

K-pop boyband iKON have added a new date to their 2023 ‘Take Off’ world tour.

On July 20, tour organiser Leo Presents announced the dates and venues for the US leg of iKON’s ongoing 2023 ‘Take Off’ world tour. On September 5, the boyband will kick things off at New York City’s Kings Theatre, before heading to Atlanta, Chicago and more.

iKON will also play Dallas and Denver on September 11 and 14, respectively, before wrapping up their US tour in Los Angeles at the Shrine Auditorium on the 16th. According to Leo Presents, the upcoming tour will be the boyband’s “first USA appearance after 4 years”.

On August 31, the K-pop boyband added a new date to the Asia leg of their ‘Take Off world tour’. This November, the group will play a show at Tennis Indoor Senayan in Jakarta, Indonesia.

iKON  parted ways with longtime agency YG Entertainment in late-December 2022 . At the time, YG Entertainment announced that the agency and group had “mutually agreed” to end iKON’s exclusive contract, following a “long and careful discussion” with the group’s members. The group signed with 143 Entertainment  the following month.

A Monday finish will take place at the RBC Heritage after the final round was suspended due to darkness Sunday evening at 7:45 p.m. ET. Play resumes at 8 a.m. on Monday morning as Scottie Scheffler looks for back-to-back wins for a second time this season and his fourth win in five starts. The world No. 1 holds a five-shot lead with three holes remaining. This will be the second unscheduled Monday finish on the PGA TOUR this season and first since the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches.

Nelly Korda Withdraws From JM Eagle LA Championship Following Five Consecutive Victories

The World No. 1 is coming off a major win at last week's Chevron Championship.

World No. 1 Nelly Korda announced her withdrawal from this week's JM Eagle LA Championship after winning her last five tournaments in a row.

Korda is coming off a victory at the first LPGA major of the year , the Chevron Championship on Sunday. It is a historic achievement. Only two women's golfers have won five consecutive tournaments— Annika Sorenstam in 2004-05 and Nancy Lopez in 1978. For men's golfers, Byron Nelson, Ben Hogan and Tiger Woods have accomplished this feat.

As for this week's tournament, Korda admitted she needs to rest after competing at the top of her abilities over the last month.

"It was not an easy decision," Korda said in a statement . "After the unbelievable week at The Chevron and grinding through the mental and physical challenges of four events in the past five weeks, I am definitely feeling exhausted. With so much still to come throughout 2024, I feel I need to listen to my body and get some rest, so I can be ready for the remainder of the season."

Prior to the Chevron Championship, Korda won the LPGA Drive On Championship, the Fir Hills Seri Pak Championship, the Ford Championship and the T-Mobile Match Play. At 25 years old, Korda has 13 LPGA wins, including two majors.

As of now, Korda's next scheduled tournament is the Cognizant Founders Cup, which runs from May 9–12. The LPGA's second major of the year is the U.S. Women's Open, which begins on May 30.
