University of Florida (UF) Transfers: 2024 Requirements, Dates, GPAs & More

How effective are university of florida (uf) virtual tours.

It depends how you use them. University of Florida (UF) is a hustling, bustling campus and community. The beauty of University of Florida (UF) virtual tours on CampusReel is that authentic video tours, made by real students, can be spectacular at capturing the University of Florida (UF) vibe. We also go well beyond the confines of the University of Florida (UF) campus by taking you around Gainesville. In traditional virtual tours, you will mostly see still, unengaging images and will not see the surrounding area at all – which is why CampusReel virtual tours are so important.

Can a University of Florida (UF) virtual tour replace a traditional in-person visit?

If you cannot visit University of Florida (UF) in person, then we can honestly say that we believe a CampusReel virtual tour of University of Florida (UF) is absolutely the most effective and holistic way to understand the University of Florida (UF) people, campus and community. However, if you do plan on visiting University of Florida (UF) and other colleges in person, we strongly recommend that you at least prescreen your college options on CampusReel before spending the time and money to visit. Most prospective families find that as soon as the step on campus, they instantly know whether or not they like the school – but they’ve already spent all that time and money getting there! Our goal is to eliminate all the time and money visiting University of Florida (UF) in person until you can make a strong educated guess that it’s worth the investment.

What places can I virtually tour at University of Florida (UF)?

For your convenience, below is a list of University of Florida (UF) places you can virtually tour on CampusReel.

What are the downsides of a University of Florida (UF) virtual tour?

The downside of virtually touring University of Florida (UF) on CampusReel is that, admittedly, our technology does not yet mimic the exact feeling and experience of visiting University of Florida (UF) in person. We are working on this though! A common request we also receive from users is to add more perspectives (e.g. student guides) to the platform. Rest assured we are working on adding more CampusReel guides to the University of Florida (UF) virtual tour. However, our selection of guides still far outweighs the available perspectives of traditional virtual tour platforms.

What are the benefits of a University of Florida (UF) virtual tour?

The most obvious benefit of a University of Florida (UF) virtual tour on CampusReel is that is can be accessed from anywhere. This can save families a lot of time and money compared to visiting University of Florida (UF) in person . Another often overlooked benefit of a CampusReel virtual tour is that it goes far beyond a traditional in person tour University of Florida (UF) . Campus visits are limited both in time and scope – how are you expected to truly understand a college in a 1 hour tour? That’s why we stress the added benefit of CampusReel virtual tours – experience University of Florida (UF) and Gainesville during different seasons, days of the week, and even hours of the day. What’s game day like? What is finals week life? Again, traditional virtual touring platforms don’t include this benefit.

Insperity Invitational underway following Friday weather delay

Change Text Size

Updated: Saturday, May 4, 8 a.m. ET: The opening round of the Insperity Invitational is underway.

Quiet conditions are in place Saturday morning with some areas of low clouds filling in across the region. As daytime heating increases, a low threat (20-30% chance) for rainshowers and thunderstorms will develop Saturday afternoon. The high threat for rainshowers and thunderstorms likely remains north of The Woodlands. Otherwise, southeast winds can be expected throughout the day with gusts of 20-25 mph Saturday afternoon.

Updated: Friday, May 3, 5:55 p.m. ET: Statement from the PGA TOUR Champions Rules Committee

"Due to the current weather conditions and forecast throughout the greater Houston area, competition at the Insperity Invitational presented by UnitedHealthcare was canceled for Friday, May 3. Round 1 will now begin at 7 a.m. CT on Saturday, May 4, with the expectation of playing 36 holes. Updated tee times to follow."

Updated: Friday, May 3, 11:05 a.m. ET: The opening round of the Insperity Invitational has been canceled due to weather. Updates on Saturday's tee times will be announced later on Friday.

Round 1 of the Insperity Invitational has been delayed due to weather around The Woodlands Country Club. The Woodlands CC is located in The Woodlands, Texas, an area just north of Houston.

First round tee times were scheduled to begin at 10:10 a.m. local time with the final group going off at 12:16 p.m.. Updated first round tee times have not been established with the status of play on Friday unknown.

This is the 20th playing of the Insperity Invitational, the 16th time being played at The Woodlands CC. Two-time defending champion, Steven Alker, is looking to make it three in a row at the tournament.

This is the third time this season, and second time in three weeks, that play has been affected by weather. The previous two occurrences resulted in cancellations of play. The final round of the Chubb Classic in Naples, Florida was canceled in early February while the second round the Invited Celebrity Classic was canceled in Irving, Texas in mid-April.

Both tournaments were considered official with just 36 holes being completed. Stephen Ames and Paul Broadhurst were the winners of those two events, respectively.

The next update from the tournament team will be at 10 a.m. local time.
