This Phenomenal Man puts on thee Best performance. When you see him live even if you weren't a fan you become a fan by the opening of the concert. He gives 1000 percent to the fans when he performes whether it's in state or international. I will Always support this Euphoric Artist, Always worth my time and money.

The entire lineup for the show was great. I was kinda disappointed in Usher however. He did more dancing than singing. He had a good set list though. After waiting for over 30 minutes for his appearance though it was just not as good as it could have been.

He was born in Chattanooga Tennessee I went to school with him damn how money changes where u come from guess h3 doesn't remember singing to me at his last day in Chattanooga and he promised to come back hehehehe still one of my favorite singers

• R&B’s current frontman announced last night, at the MTV Video Music Awards that he will be going on tour with Usher this fall. Ladies, that’s one tour you can’t afford to miss, double the talent, double the romance, double the sexiness. [ MTV ]

At VMA’s Trey Songz Announces He Is To Tour w/ Usher

Trey Songz used his opportunity as presenter to announce to the world that he would be joining R&B showman  Usher o n his recently announced OMG tour .

While introducing Usher’s blazing performance of “DJ Got Us Falling In Love” and “OMG,” Trey said it was “an honor” t o get to tour with the star.

The OMG tour kicks off on November 10 in Seattle, before hitting major markets like Los Angeles’ Staples Center on November 18, the Phillips Arena in his hometown of Atlanta, GA on December 5, Madison Square Garden in New York City on December 13, and wrap in Hartford, CT December 18 at the XL Center.

Trey will get a chance to support his new album, Passion, Pain & Pleasure , in stores September 14.

Trey Songz touched down in Atlanta Tuesday to celebrate the release of his new album Passion, Pain & Pleasure.

The Atlantic Records artist was treated to a private album release party by Target, the only retailer carrying the deluxe version of his project that includes four additional LIVE tracks and 30 minutes of video content.

Alongside Trigga, T.I. was in the building, as well as former NBA player Jalen Rose on the rooftop of Ventanas with tunes spun by DJ Don Cannon.

While at the release party, HipHopWired got a chance to chat with Songz about his plans for his fourth studio project.

Trey revealed exclusively to HipHopWired details on how he picks his next singles.

According to Trey, fans dictated the song selection from the last album and while a fan of each record, he was surprised at his listener’s choices.

This time around however he added variety to the singles, going from “Bottoms Up” with Nicki Minaj to “We Can’t Be Friends”, two vastly different songs.

“I think what was so dope about my last album is that basically the fans, radio and the people dictated what the next single would be. Although I wanted “Invented Sex” and “Say Aaah” to be my singles and “Neighbors Know My Name” was one of my favorite songs, I didn’t know that they would be revealed that way. What I did do with “Bottoms Up” and “We Can’t Be Friends” is I knew that they were two songs who were vastly different and I think the album embodies everything in between that. “

Trey also adds that this time around, he hopes one of his more “artistic” records get more airplay.

“As far as the single, I got a couple I think would work. What I’m really trying to do is get away from the radio mentality holistically although partially that has to happen. But I would love to see one of the more artistic records eventually get on radio. Right now “Alone”, “Red Lipstick”, “Unusual” could definitely be the next single.”

Additionally, HipHopWired chatted with Trey about his forthcoming ‘OMG Tour’ with Usher.

The R&B star shot down rumors that he stole the tour slot from Chris Brown who had been noticeably enthusiastic about teaming up with Usher.

Instead Trey said, “I don’t know anything about that” but confirmed that he was on board for the dates that kick off November 1 in Seattle, Washington.

Before returning to his party, the R&B singer also added that he still plans to work on a super-group with Jay-Z and Young Jeezy as mentioned  during their dates on the Blueprint III tour.

“I mean I talk to Hov and Jeezy all the time. We haven’t made any music at this point but it’s still in the air, that’s my man and them.”

When asked if he planned on making any more music with Jeezy while he stopped through Atlanta, Trey added with a smile,

“I ain’t talk to him…but he might come through tonight, ya never know.”

Unfortunately Jeezy didn’t make last night’s festivities but click the page numbers to see who did.

Trey Songz To Tour With Usher

Trey Songz made a surprising announcement at last evening’s MTV VMAs . The aspiring porn star singer revealed that he will be joining Usher’s ‘OMG’ tour as a supporting act. The show launches on November 10th in Seattle , giving Songz enough time to recover from his ‘Passion, Pain & Pleasure’ tour with Monica which ends this week.

4 albums released and Songz is still serving as an opening act for someone else? Then again, he only has 1 top 10 single on the Billboard Hot 100 and only 1 certified album so it’s not surprising. The neighbours might know his name but they don’t know it well enough to buy a ticket to 1 of his solo concerts (or watch his failed reality show).

I thought I heard him say that at yesterday’s VMA’s. Hopefully CB makes a surprise guest appearance on some of the tour dates. I wish them well. Usher knows how to bring it live but just not feeling his CD enuf this go round to check him and trey out. Oh well maybe next time.

BIG MISTAKE AND DISAPPOINTMENT

Speaking of Trey, his 4th album “Passion, Pain & Pleasure” is releasing tomorrow and the only type of promo that I’ve seen of this album is a commercial on MTV that came on before the VMAs yesterday (that flop reality show of his does not count.) So, I’m curious to see how his stats will turn out next week.

Not a bad idea. The ladies love Trey, and he gives them the type of shows they want. Usher is a mega-star so it’s still a good look for him.

CB& Usher would have been better, of course.

CB and Tyga will tour together towards the end of this year so I will be looking out for that tour definitely. I’ve seen CB live and he can sing and entertain truly.

Um, I don’t think I have a problem with Trey going on tour with Usher, but the problem is that this is his THIRD tour within the last year and a half. Dude, people get tired of hearing the same songs every single tour. Yeah, he’ll be on his fourth album, but he doesn’t have a good enough discography to keep people interested in him every single time he performs. I seen him for the Blueprint 3 stop in New Orleans, and he was just okay. I prefered him when he came to my college homecoming concert because it was a lot more personable and this was surprisingly before his best album (my favorite) ‘Ready’. That’s more of his type of setting in my opinion. I don’t particularly like his voice (straining/excessive vibrato) but not gonna lie, he sounds just like he does on his record (aside from the BET awards).

Anyway, I don’t think the people (females) who went to the Blueprint 3 tour AND his PPP tour will want to see him AGAIN performing the same exact material, the same exact way. But good luck.

CHRIS WOULD HAVE OUTSHINED USHER ON THAT TOUR FOR SURE.

At first I was considering going when Usher was coming to Vegas, but now with Mr. Songz I most likely wont go. I don’t really know his material enough to enjoy myself and his performance level is not quite where I’d like to pay to watch. His head bobbing and super fast vibrato would leave me laughing.

I’m glad Trey is FINALLY getting a shot at stardom but i’ve just never been into him. To some implying Ush is intimidated by anyone performing with him- doubt it. It would have been a must see if he had gone on tour with Chris ( for me anyway) but Ush will do well with or without Trey.

And the funniest of it all is that the only reason Usher picked Trey over Chris is because Trey is CHEAPER! Click on the link @X, Y, and Z posted about Usher and Chris not touring because of finical issues. Chris cant get out of his deal with LiveNation so Usher had to go for Airwalks instead of Converses if you know what I mean….

I hope this serves as good promotion for his album. I like Trey. Really I do but everybody knows the only reason he ever became relevant is because Chris beat Rihanna. Chris left the gate open for a good looking R&B singer and Trey found his way in. Now that Chris is coming back I don’t see Trey’s hype as big as last year. Besides his reality show that got low ratings, his tour with Monica did well & I am sure that will help with sales. But ‘Bottom’s Up’ really isn’t tearing up the charts. Has ‘Can’t Be Friends’ made a debut yet?? He probably needs this tour for more promo for his album but I am worried he is gonna flop on this album.

I would feel sorry for Trey if he wasn’t so cocky(r.kelly beef). He is working so hard as an artist to be a big star and he can’t. I’m a little older than trey and I would rather see Chris brown in concert, i would rather hear his music period.

Chris Brown is just a hyper street dancer, his technique is very rough. Usher on the other hand is the best, he moves effortlessly, and makes it look easy. Nothing is forceful. Chris Brown has an annoying singing voice. Yeah he can entertain and has some good songs, but thats about it. Usher is one of the biggest most influential male R&b artists period. His new album is great and platinum, which keeps on churning out smash after smash.

Usher is what this industry is all about.

Chris cannot command a certain amount of money just because he finally gets 1 #1 R&b hit. Usher isn’t intimidated by no one. Theres no need to be. He is mounds ahead of the field. Trey has some good music. Bottoms Up’ is a hit. I don’t know what u people are talking about. He should have said that his album was coming out this week on the Mtv awards, i guess that was his reason for being there.

But his tour with Monica should have definitely been Monica starring Trey Songs, Monica is a bonafied star, who has sold millions. Trey has one platinum album, and one that should almost be certified gold.

Chris’s main thing is dancing. But it’s the same style of dancing. It’s nothing new. Usher gives u so much more. So it really did’nt matter who was touring with Usher because he’s gonna sellout arenas period.

Of anything this would be a major boost for Trey. Trey does have to expand his music if he wants to reach other demographics.

Usher Speaks On The Possibility Of A Verzuz With Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Or Ne-Yo

The R&B battle that people have been waiting for might actually happen.

With a new Vegas residency, Usher is back in the spotlight, and talk of a potential Verzuz battle between him and another R&B superstar has been going around. In a new interview with E! ‘s   Daily Pop show, the 43 year old singer addressed whether the rumors are true and can fans expect a Verzuz battle between him Chris Brown, Trey Songz, or Ne-Yo. ,

“Everybody wants to see you maybe do a Verzu z,” the interviewer said. “They want you to do it with Ne-Yo, Trey Songz. Chris Brown said it does make sense, so does it make sense to Usher?” she asked the R&B superstar about potentially doing a Verzuz.

“There was a flyer that was put together. It’s not official, no, we’re not doing that,” Usher explained. “But I can appreciate what I see. Nah, there’s no Verzuz. I don’t think y’all ready for nothing like that. You might be ready for something like that on stage, maybe in the future. Stay tuned.”

On a press run for his latest album Breezy, Chris Brown had stopped by the Drink Champs set and sat down with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN. During the episode, Brown addressed the possibility of doing a Verzuz, saying that the only person that he could do a battle with would be Usher. However, he would like the Verzuz to be less of a “battle” and just more of a celebration of the two artists music.

“They want me to do it with Usher,” Chris said. “It only makes sense, but it’s got to make more sense. I can’t act like he ain’t a pioneer as well– that’s Usher. I think it would be something good for the fans.”

Keyshia Cole To Headline The Love Hard Tour With Trey Songz, K. Michelle, And Jaheim

Keyshia Cole is headed out on her first headlining tour in over a decade with the upcoming Love Hard Tour, in partnership with Black Promoters Collective (BPC). She will be joined by Trey Songz, K. Michelle, and Jaheim on the 24-city tour, which kicks off in February 2024.

"I am beyond excited to announce ‘The Love Hard Tour,' and to be collaborating with the Black Promoter's Collective," said Cole in a statement. "This tour is a true labor of love and I'm looking forward to connecting with my fans, sharing new memories and healing through music."

On Instagram , she continued, "Been 10 years since I've done a tour! I owe this to MYSELF! And my fans to put on the best show of my career… this has been a goal of mine FOREVER… THANK U TO EVERYONE INVOLVED, I APPRECIATE you ALL. See u guys SOON…"

BPC President Shelby Joyner added, "Keyshia Cole ignited the music scene with a passion in R&B reminiscent of the soul singers of the past. Her captivating tone and lyrical prowess instantly drew me in, and I am thrilled to join forces with her on the ‘Love Hard' tour, where the legacy of soulful storytelling continues to unfold."

The artist presale went live on Wednesday (Dec. 13) at 10 a.m. local time using the code: DIAMONDS. All other presales begin today at 10 a.m. local time until 11:59 p.m local time using the code: BPC. General on-sale starts on Friday (Dec. 15) at 10 a.m. local time.
