Road Trip is a U.S. comedy film that was written by Scot Armstrong and Todd Phillips, who also directed. The movie stars Breckin Meyer as Josh Parker, Amy Smart as Beth Wagner, Seann William Scott as E.L., Paulo Costanzo as Rubin Carver and DJ Qualls as Kyle Edwards. Josh and Tiffany are high school sweathearts who have been long-time friends. They have to deal with a long distance relationship once Josh is enrolled at Ithaca and Tiffany is to attend the University of Austin. However, they vow to remain true to each other.

Due to some miscommunication, Josh is unaware that Tiffany has had a death in her family so when she doesn’t call, he is worried that she is seeing someone else. He begins to make a daily video blog for her.

During a party, E.L. holds an auction for girls. Josh wins a bid for $26 and after he dances with Beth, they have sex. Beth records their sex with the same recorder that Josh has been using for his video blogs for Tiffany. Not realizing this, Josh asks Rubin to mail the blog tape to Tiffany prior to leaving for class.

Josh confesses to his friends that he and Beth had sex. His friends want proof. Josh tries to play the tape but then realizes that Rubin has sent the tape to Tiffany. Then Josh gets a voicemail from Tiffany telling him that she didn’t call because her grandfather died. In a panic, Josh plans a road trip to retrieve the tape since he doesn’t have the money for a plane ticket.

He and the guys are on the road for days, finally reaching Austin. When they get to Tiffany's dorm, Josh gets hold of the tape. After an altercation with Kyle, Josh and Tiffany wind up watching the tape, which only turns out to have one of his friends acting goofy on it.

However, Josh and Tiffany decide it is best to break up since they are so far from each other and it is impractical to have a relationship. After Josh passes his class, he and Beth hook up and make more videos together.

Road Trip is a 2000 comedy with a runtime of 1 hour and 33 minutes. It has received moderate reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.5 and a MetaScore of 55.

Dodgers won the first two series of their 9-game road trip, and now head to Phoenix, where they will face left-handed starting pitching in the first two games.

The third and final leg on the Dodgers ’ long road trip is a return to the final destination of their playoff demise last October . The Dodgers will battle the Diamondbacks for the first time in 2024, for three games beginning Monday night at Chase Field in Phoenix.

Both teams are coming off multiple road series. The reigning National League pennant winners are under .500 and haven’t won a series since April 12-14. They’ve lost eight of their last 12 entering Sunday, including series losses on the last two legs of their just concluded road trip, in St. Louis and Seattle. The Dodgers have won six straight entering Sunday, including a series sweep in Washington D.C. and winning the first two games in Toronto.

Arizona has suffered some blows to its starting rotation. Offseason signee Eduardo Rodriguez, who vetoed a trade to the Dodgers last August 1, started the season on the injured list with a shoulder strain and has since been transferred to the 60-day IL. Merrill Kelly had a 2.19 ERA in his first four starts, but landed on the injured list last Tuesday with a shoulder strain of his own.

Dodgers/D-backs schedule

Jordan Montgomery, one of the “Boras Four” free agents who all signed shorter deals well into spring training — Montgomery has since switched agencies — has provided a boon to the D-backs rotation, giving them 13 total innings in his two quality starts. He’ll pitch the middle game of this series, one of two left-handed starters for Arizona in this series, along with Tommy Henry on Monday.

Let’s see what that means for Max Muncy, Kiké Hernández, and Chris Taylor in this series.

D-backs ace Zac Gallen, who finished third in NL Cy Young Award voting last season , has been typically productive this season with a 3.38 ERA in six starts with 35 strikeouts in 32 innings. For now, Arizona’s Wednesday starter is listed as TBA, but Gallen lines up on four days rest should they so choose to use him.

James Paxton starts the series opener Monday night for the Dodgers, getting an extra day of rest after last Tuesday’s start in Washington . Paxton has more walks than strikeouts in each of his last two outings.

Landon Knack, making his third major league start, and Yoshinobu Yamamoto start the final two games in the desert, both coming off strong six-inning starts and wins last week.

Clemson baseball live score updates vs Louisville: Tigers face Cardinals on ACC road trip

After  losing an extra-innings thriller to No. 17 Georgia on Tuesday, Clemson baseball  battles Louisville in a three-game weekend series at Jim Patterson Stadium.

The Tigers (32-8, 13-5 ACC) rose to No. 4 from No. 6 in the latest  USA TODAY Coaches Poll  after defeating Charlotte on April 16 and beating Pittsburgh 2-1 in their weekend series. They lead the ACC's Atlantic Division by two games and stayed atop the  Week 10 power rankings .

The Cardinals (24-16, 9-9) are fifth in the Atlantic Division and defeated Miami 2-1 in their weekend series. Despite their struggles in conference play, they are 20-8 at home, beating No. 23 NC State 2-1 in a series earlier this season.
