Our most popular tour takes you out into the wine and orchard country of the Snake River Valley with its scenic vistas. You have the option of stopping at 4 wineries, or 3 wineries and a distillery. All tasting fees are included in your tour.
Eagle Foothills Tour
For a change of pace, this tour will take you north and west of Boise into the dramatic scenery of the Eagle Foothills. You’ll visit three wineries, including the unique, isolated oasis of 3 Horse Ranch Vineyards with its new tasting room and full kitchen, as well as the scenic overlook from Dude DeWalt Cellars. This tour is limited to certain days of the week due to winery operating hours. All tasting fees are included in your tour.
Garden City Winery District Tour
This tour includes tasting rooms in the Garden City Winery District west of downtown Boise. You have the option of stopping at 4 wineries, or we can design a tour that includes both wineries and craft breweries. All tasting fees are included in your tour.

A tour with sunshine wine tours is an all day affair, so prepare to immerse yourself in idaho wine culture for the day.
The specific itinerary is customized for your tour. The best way to do it is to kick back, relax, and let us treat you to an insider’s look at some of the hidden secrets and lesser-known gems of the Snake River Valley. If you have specific requests we’ll take those into account but keep in mind – we live and breathe Idaho wines. Nobody has a more intimate understanding of everything this region has to offer than we do!
Getting off the beaten path is what we’re all about – we will take you to places you probably would have never found on your own. We try to cover a variety of stops for breathtaking scenery, rolling vineyards, and unique and superb wines.
The whole experience is designed to be fun and unpretentious, so whether you are a casual wine drinker or a full fledged aficionado, Sunshine Wine Tours will be the perfect fit for you.
We provide door-to-door service within a reasonable pickup area. We will pick you up directly at your location, usually around 10:30 a.m. A scenic drive will lead us into wine country where you will enjoy some world class wine and take in the beauty and serenity of the region. We like to share our knowledge of the Idaho wine industry, as much as you care to hear – so the tour can be as educational as it is fun – but it’s casual and we promise not to talk your head off!

The Snake River Valley has incredible red varietals, as well as amazing whites. Whether your preference is a dry Riesling, or a full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon, we will make sure your tastes are covered.
Reservations at four wineries will allow us to spend about one hour at each venue. Our last tasting typically concludes around 4:00p.m. and we’ll have you back home in time for dinner!
Tasting fees at the wineries are included. We want to ensure your day is seamless - with that, tasting fees at the four wineries are included in the booking price.
Wineries are OPEN on the Sunnyslope Wine Trail! Contact wineries individually for reservations and COVID-19 policies.

How it Works:
Once you have purchased your passport and received the confirmation email, visit any of the participating Sunnyslope Wineries to pick up your passport and start redeeming passport discounts. When touring the wineries, ask your server/wine guide for a stamp to utilize the Passport offer. Visit all wineries, receive a stamp from each, and turn in the completed Passport to Famici Wine Company by May 5th, 2024 for a prize.
Terms & Conditions:
- The Wine Passport is valid from February 1st - April 30th, 2024.
- Must be 21 years or older to purchase and redeem your passport.
- One passport per person. Each person must present their passport to get a stamp.
- Passports are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for other Sunnyslope Wine Trail offers.
- Not all Sunnyslope Wineries are participating in this event, see map on pg 3-4 of your passport or list of participating wineries for more details.
- Valid ID is required to taste or purchase wines.

So much fun! Nate and crew set up our group of 12 with the best e bikes! The path is incredibly scenic and it could not have been a better day. Highly recommended, Sunrise made it super easy!
My wife and I got two folding bikes from Sunrise a few years back. We love them and have had no problems at all with them. Great people to deal with as well !

Avelo Airlines expands nonstop service from Boise to California wine country
BOISE, Idaho — Avelo Airlines is launching the first flight of their nonstop service from the Boise Airport (BOI) to the Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport (STS) near the Bay Area and California Wine Country. The northern California area is home to towering redwoods, the Pacific coastline, and over 425 wineries.
“We are very excited to begin service to the San Fransisco Bay Area and California Wine Country from Boise," said Avelo Airlines Founder and CEO Andrew Levy. "With the addition of this exclusive nonstop service, getting to this popular destination is now more affordable and easier than ever for travelers in southwest Idaho. This new route will also make getting from the Bay Area and Sonoma County to Boise a faster and smoother experience.”
The first flight to Sonoma County will leave Boise on Thursday, May 2 at 7:05 pm. Flyers taking the inaugural flight will get to participate in a wine tasting featuring local Sonoma County wine before the flight.
“We are so excited to see Avelo’s new nonstop to Sonoma County start today!," said Boise Airport Director Rebecca Hupp. "This route provides easy and convenient access to one of California’s premier wine country regions—and is sure to be a favorite weekend getaway for our passengers this summer.”
Following the inaugural flight, service to Sonoma County will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays. Special one-way fares start at $69. To reserve a seat on a future flight, you can visit AveloAir.com .
