Taylor Swift Proves Third Time’s the Charm With ‘Last Kiss’ Performance

  • By Althea Legaspi

Althea Legaspi

Taylor Swift performed “Last Kiss” as one of her surprise acoustic songs last night, July 8, during her second of two consecutive nights of her Eras tour at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. It was a fitting choice as she just released Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) on Friday and the breakup song hails from the original LP culled in 2010.

Given it has been a long while since Swift dusted off that track for a live rendition, it’s understandable that she forgot the lyrics, having to start the song a couple of times. “Oh my God,” she exclaimed as she realized she had skipped over a few lines on the first try. “We have this rule on this tour where if I mess up a song then I have to play it again some other time on the tour, just so I can avenge myself.”

How kid rock went from america's favorite hard-partying rock star to a maga mouthpiece, the mad scientist and the killer whales, taylor swift debuts ‘how did it end’ at final 2024 eras tour date in sweden.

“I swear I will not mess this up again!,” she laughed, along with the audience. “Oh my God, this one, I love this one, why am I doing this to this song?” Thankfully, the third time was the charm, and she delivered it flawlessly on the third try as fan footage showcased. She also debuted “Dorothea” live for the first time on Saturday.

Her Kansas City run included other surprises, which didn’t involve any memory lapse. On Friday, she premiered the video for Speak Now “From the Vault” song “ I Can See You .” Directed and written by Swift, the visual stars Taylor Lautner, Joey King, and Presley Cash, all of whom joined her on stage Friday to debut the video.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift was having a bit of trouble remembering her song lyrics during her Eras Tour stop in Kansas City, Mo., on Saturday (July 8).

During the acoustic section of her set at Geha Field at Arrowhead Stadium, the 33-year-old pop star hilariously forget the words — not once, but twice — to her sorrowful 2010 Speak Now track “Last Kiss.”

Here’s Why Taylor Swift Fans Think ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ Is Being Teased in ‘I Can See…

After effortlessly singing the first two lines of the opening verse, Swift accidentally skipped ahead to the “July ninth” portion of the second verse before pausing to acknowledge her mistake.

Trending on Billboard

“Oh my God! No, those are the right lyrics,” Tay said, repeating the opening lines. “I swear that I will not mess this up again! Oh my God! This one, I love this one. Why am I doing this to this song?”

The third time was a charm, as the songstress effortlessly delivered the Speak Now track without further interruption.

Prior to performing “Last Kiss,” Swift reminded the sold-out crowd of the date, which plays an important role in the song.

“I don’t know if you noticed what the date is today, but it’s July 8th,” she said . “Soon it will be July 9th. You know what time it is, Kansas City. It’s time to play ‘Last Kiss’ and cry.”

“Last Kiss” reached No. 71 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2010. In the prologue included in the vinyl edition of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) , the newly released re-recorded version of her third album, Swift called it “the saddest song I’ve ever written.”

Gracie Abrams opened the show wearing a Speak Now tee in honor of the album re-release. The Interscope artist’s set was brief with just four songs, but got the night started on the right note.

MUNA came out strong as the second opener to a full stadium. The playful, power pop band got the crowd moving with their hits “What I Want” and “Silk Chiffon”. The openly queer group gave Kansas City a lot of love and dedicated their performance to the LGBTQ+ community.

After their set, a countdown clock appeared on a video wall and the excitement in the stadium was palpable. When the clock hit zero, dancers emerged with enormous pastel-colored fans and ran toward the B Stage in the center of the stadium. Taylor rose from below the stage opening her nearly four-hour set with “Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince”. The crowd took the energy to the next level while Taylor performed “Cruel Summer,” scream-singing it with her.

She thanked the crowd for making her feel like a boss before launching into “The Man,” while taking to a multi-tiered stage setup that looked like an office full of employees. After this, Taylor addressed the crowd by saying, “Welcome to the Speak Now release party.” She went back to the B Stage with a pink guitar to play “Lover”.

Swift admitted she missed the connection with the audience from not touring for five years. She said that she decided to make as many albums as humanly possible during the pandemic. She called the new albums new family members. “Champagne Problems” found the singer at a moss-covered grand piano in a pumpkin colored gown.

Snake videos filled the screens to lead into the Reputations era with “…Ready for It?”

“Long Live”, off Speak Now , was the first of the surprise songs peppered into Swift’s set. It featured her koi guitar, which was on current display at the Country Music Hall of Fame until it went ‘missing’ mysteriously right before this show. I was happy to have my venue approved Sony point and shoot camera to capture the moment from my seat. Mystery solved tonight in KC!

The Red Era followed, with Swift wearing a “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” tee. “22” kicked off that section of songs. Before the ten-minute long version of “All Too Well”, Swift talked about wanting to own her music and re-recording the albums for Taylor’s version. She again expressed gratitude to the fans for helping her fulfill that dream. As she re-records them, she is adding in songs from the vault that previously didn’t make the album.

The folklore era began with Taylor on top of a cabin in the trees. This era began with “The 1” and ended with the mega popuplar “cardigan”. Swift changed to an orange two-piece sparkly outfit for the 1989 era before performing “Shake It Off” and “Wildest Dreams”. The entire stadium was on their feet, throwing up heart hands and singing every word. All the fans in the crowd were given bracelets that lit up in sync across the stadium. The screens changed to fire burning across them for “Bad Blood” and real pyro fire was also unleashed as she performed the song with her amazing backup dancers who never missed a beat.

Kansas City Night One was special, too, because it was where Swift showed the world premiere of the video for “I Can See You”. The music video stars Taylor Lautner, Joey King and Presley Cash. The song is rumored to be about Swift’s ex, Lautner so it was a surreal moment to see them together again. Swift said she wanted the screening to be like a movie premier and brought her video co-stars out. The music video immediately began trending on Twitter.

The official surprise songs, which are special songs that Swift plays at each date without ever repeating them, were “Never Grow Up” and “Emma Falls in Love”, off Speak Now . Both songs were played acoustically, with Swift playing guitar and then a piano with hand-painted flowers.

The Midnights era was kicked off with “Lavender Haze”. Fireworks lit up the stadium sky for the grand finale of “Karma”.

Swift took fans on an emotional journey through her discography, delivering a night of music, spectacle, and pure enchantment. True to her reputation, Swift spared no expense in delivering a visually stunning spectacle. The stage design and production values were nothing short of extraordinary, seamlessly transitioning between each era.

From grandiose sets to mesmerizing lighting effects, every element was meticulously crafted to complement the unique atmosphere of each song. The visuals served as the perfect backdrop for Swift’s boundless energy, ensuring that every audience member felt fully immersed in the experience.

The Eras Tour  will continue to roll across the US through Aug. 9, wrapping its final shows in Los Angeles. Swift recently announced she will be taking the record-breaking tour overseas to Europe, Asia and Australia next year, with dates through Aug. 17, 2024. If you haven’t seen it catch it before it’s gone. It’s the show of the year!

Taylor Swift Reunites with Taylor Lautner Onstage — and His Wife Shares Cute Throwback Photo from 2010

"He was a very positive force in my life when I was making the 'Speak Now' album," the singer said of the "Twilight" star

“Long Live” Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner ’s friendship!

The “Enchanted” singer, 33, and the Twilight star, 31, shared a hug after Lautner cartwheeled and backflipped onstage at Swift’s Eras Tour stop in Kansas City, Missouri, on Friday night. The backflip was a nod to the scene he and Swift shared in the 2010 movie Valentine’s Day .

The touching moment between the pair followed the surprise premiere of Swift's new music video for the song “I Can See You,” which stars Lautner and actresses Joey King and Presley Cash.

The special surprise came the same day the Grammy winner dropped the long-awaited re-recording of her 2010 album Speak Now (Taylor's Version) , featuring the track “Back to December” which Lautner inspired after he and Swift dated for a few months in 2009.

Swift said of her ex before introducing him onstage , “He was a very positive force in my life when I was making the Speak Now album, and I want to say he did every single stunt that you saw in that music video. He and his wife have become some of my closest friends, and it’s very convenient because we all share the same first name.”

The actor also shared some kind words for Swift after he walked out, telling her, “I respect you so much. Not just for the singer you are, the songwriter, the performer — but truly for the human you are. You are gracious, humble, kind and I’m honored to know you.”

Lautner commemorated the night by sharing a hilarious Instagram photo of himself, his wife Taylor Dome Lautner and Swift recreating the popular Spider-Man meme by standing in a circle and pointing at each other, given that they all share the same first name.

“Secret's out! Tonight was wild,” he captioned the post of the trio on the set of the "I Can See You" video.

Dome Lautner, 26, also shared a snapshot of Swift with her arms around the couple as she gives the camera two thumbs up, along with a throwback photo of when she met the musician in 2010.

“The Tale of Three Taylors🤍Everything that @taylorlautner said last night onstage is so true. @taylorswift you are not only one of the most talented people to ever walk this earth (truly don’t think there is anything you can’t do) but you are also one of THE kindest people,” Dome Lautner wrote in the Instagram caption .

“You welcomed my husband and I into your camp with open arms and the warmest heart,” she continued. “The way you are so down to earth and authentically yourself after all these years of being in the spotlight is inspiring. Your passion for your work and genuine love for your fans is something so incredible. I am honored to call you a friend.”

Dome Lautner, a healthcare worker, has been vocal about being a longtime Swiftie, sharing on Nick Viall 's podcast, The Viall Files , in February that she is an “ OG T-Swift fan .”

"I went to one of her first concerts like ever. It was at the tiniest theater. My best friend loved her, and then I did too," she explained.

Dome Lautner also shared which of Swift's albums she thinks is the greatest. " Speak Now — that album was the one I was like, 'That's probably one of the best albums of all time,' she said. "The lyrics are insane."

Kansas City Chiefs player faces backlash for graduation speech criticizing working women, calling Pride a 'deadly sin'

Harrison Butker delivered the commencement address at Benedictine College.

The kicker for the Kansas City Chiefs is facing backlash after delivering a commencement address that touched on everything from Pride Month to women's roles in the home, abortion and birth control.

"It is safe to say that over the years, I have gained quite the reputation for speaking my mind," Harrison Butker said at the start of his address, which he delivered May 11 at Benedictine College, a Catholic liberal arts college in Atchison, Kansas.

Butker, who has sparked controversy in the past for his public stances on religion, LGBTQ topics and abortion, criticized President Joe Biden for his stance as a Catholic who supports abortion rights before turning to speak directly to the women in the graduating class, saying they had been told "the most diabolical lies."

PHOTO: Harrison Butker speaks to the 2024 graduates of Benedictine College, May 11, 2024, in Atchison, Kan.

"Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world," Butker, 28, said. "I can tell you that my beautiful wife Isabelle would be the first to say that her life truly started when she began living her vocation as a wife and a mother."

Butker and his wife share two young children. Isabelle Butker has spoken publicly about converting to Catholicism before the couple's 2018 marriage.

"I'm on this stage today and able to be the man I am because I have a wife who leans into her vocation," Butker continued. "I am beyond blessed with the many talents God has given me, but it cannot be overstated that all of my success is made possible because a girl I met in band class, back in middle school, would convert to the faith, become my wife and embrace one of the most important titles of all, homemaker."

Butker added, "I've seen firsthand how much happier someone can be when they disregard the outside noise and move closer and closer to God's will for life. Isabelle's dream of having a career might not have come true, but if you ask her today if she has any regrets on her decision, she would laugh out loud without hesitation and say no."

The football player also said men should step up for families, saying, "This absence of men in the home is what plays a large role in the violence we see all around the nation."

"Be unapologetic in your masculinity, fighting against the culture of the emasculation of men," he said, adding that men "set the tone of the culture."

"Do hard things," he added. "Never settle for what is easy."

PHOTO: Harrison Butker, right, celebrates with his children after kicking the go ahead field goal to beat the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII at State Farm Stadium, Feb. 12, 2023, in Glendale, Ariz.

Elsewhere in his 20-minute speech, Butker described Pride month, which typically falls in June and is dedicated to supporting the LGBTQ+ community, as a "deadly sin."

He also referenced popstar Taylor Swift , who is dating his teammate Travis Kelce , by citing some of the lyrics from her song "Bejeweled."

"Tragically, so many priests revolve much of their happiness from the adulation they receive from their parishioners," he said. "And in searching for this, they let their guard down and become overly familiar. This undue familiarity will prove to be problematic every time, because as my teammate's girlfriend says, familiarity breeds contempt."

Butker declined to comment.

Justice Horn, a former Kansas City commissioner, spoke out in the wake of Butker's comments over the weekend, writing on X , "Harrison Butker doesn't represent Kansas City nor has he ever. Kansas City has always been a place that welcomes, affirms, and embraces our LGBTQ+ community members."

Outsports, a media platform that covers the LGBTQ+ community, commented on the fact that Butker included a reference to Swift in his speech, writing on X , "One of the worst parts of this NFL player's awful speech is that he quoted a Taylor Swift song before telling women they should be homemakers and serve their man's career."

Sarah Kate Ellis, president and CEO of GLAAD, an LGBTQ+ organization, also responded to Butker's speech, calling it "inaccurate, ill-informed, and woefully out of step with Americans about Pride, LGBTQ people and women."

"Those with expansive platforms, especially athletes, should use their voices to uplift and expand understanding and acceptance in the world," Ellis said in a statement. "Instead, Butker's remarks undermine experiences not of his own and reveal him to be one who goes against his own team’s commitment to the Kansas City community, and the NFL's standards for respect, inclusion, and diversity across the League.”

Benedictine College, which has around 2,100 undergraduate students, has disabled comments on a YouTube video of Butker's speech.

The college did not respond to ABC News' request for comment on Butker's commencement address.

The NFL told ABC News the organization is "steadfast" in its "commitment to inclusion."

“Harrison Butker gave a speech in his personal capacity. His views are not those of the NFL as an organization," Jonathan Beane, the league's chief diversity and inclusion officer, told ABC News in a statement. "The NFL is steadfast in our commitment to inclusion, which only makes our league stronger.”

The Kansas City Chiefs did not reply to ABC News' request for comment.

You can safely say that all Swifties are “Down Bad” for the new version of the “Eras Tour.”

The last time Taylor Swift hit the “Eras Tour” stage in Singapore, it was just a month before she released her newest album “The Tortured Poets Department .”

So, when Swift began the European leg of her “Eras Tour” in Paris, France, fans were anxiously waiting to see how she would implement the new album into her already jam packed set .

All in all, Taylor Swift did not disappoint on Night 1 of her Paris shows.

From new outfits to axed songs and new songs, there has been plenty to talk about and fangirl over, and anticipation has only grown for the rest of the European shows to see what else Taylor Swift has up her sleeve.

Here are all the changes Taylor Swift has made to the European leg of the “Eras Tour” so far.

Taylor Swift ‘Eras Tour’ changes

‘tortured poets’ added to the intro mash-up of albums.

Every Swiftie who has either been to the “Eras Tour” or has watched every concert video on TikTok has the introduction of album titles memorized by heart. That’s so much so that when the TTPD title was added to the intro , fans immediately freaked out.

Besides the album title, she added the line in the intro, “What if i told you I’m back?” which is from her song “imgonnagetyouback.”

Costume changes

There were several new costume changes throughout the night, which is one of the first extensive major outfit changes Swift has done across all eras since she announced “1989 (Taylor’s Version).”

First, during the “Lover” set, Swift hit the stage in a sparkly orange bodysuit and matching boots , which left fans, including me, in awe. She then put on a matching oversized blazer when she began performing “The Man.”

Then, during the “Fearless” set, Swift donned a new fringe dress very reminiscent of a black and grey one she wore during her 2009 “Fearless” tour .

During the “Red” era, Swift wore a new T-shirt that said “This IS NOT Taylor’s Version.” During her Paris Night 2 show, she went with a “I Bet You Think About Me” shirt .

The direct references to her past tours did not end there.

For “Speak Now,” Swift came out in a stunning new gown , which had the audience stunned. It was a faded lilac color with a ribbon pattern of gold sequins and rhinestones wrapping around the entire dress.

This gown was a direct reference to an outfit she wore during her 2011 “Speak Now” world tour.

For her “Folklore” and “Evermore” sets, Swift combined the two dresses into one. Generally, the Folklore dresses have very billowy sleeves and skirt layers that swish around as she spins across the stage while singing “August.” The “Evermore” dresses usually give off more of a fall vibe as they are more yellow, brown and rust colored.

To combine the two, Swift donned a beautiful dress in the shade of yellow , which she used for both sets. For her Night 2 show in Paris, she wore a bright fuchsia dress.

Next was the “1989″ set, where she came out in a completely new look . Swift took the stage in a bright turquoise skater skirt, which is something she wore quite often in 2015 when the album came out. She also wore a pink sparkly halter top and a mismatched pair of blue and pink Christian Louboutin ankle boots.

For Paris Night 2, she wore a purple skirt and orange top .

For the surprise song set, Swift wore a new pink dress and a new fringe bodysuit for the “Midnights” set, which closes out the show.

As much as we were dreading it, we knew song cuts would have to happen in order to add new songs to the set. The songs that were axed from the set were, “The Archer”, “Long Live”, “Tis the Damn Season”, “Tolerate It”, “The 1″ and “The Last Great American Dynasty”.

Set order change

If you have been to an “Eras Tour” show in the past, then get ready for a change up in the set.

The new order of “Eras” performed at the show is now, “Lover,” ”Fearless,” “Red,” ”Speak Now,” “Reputation,” ”Folklore” and “Evermore” as one combined set, “1989,″ ”The Tortured Poets Department,” surprise songs and ”Midnights.”

New ‘Speak Now’ visuals

This set now begins with a long, choreographed number while instrumentals from her “Speak Now” album play in the background.

There are also very purple new visuals playing as Taylor performs.

‘The Tortured Poets Department’ enters the ‘Eras Tour’ universe

This is what every fan watching through a TikTok livestream or live in concert has been waiting for.

The TTPD set comes right after “1989″ with literary themed visuals sprawling across the screens before Taylor and her dancers came out. There was new choreography , costumes and of course, a huge range of new songs.

As she sang, there were black and white visuals of stained glass, a haunted house, alien spaceships and the asylum from the “Fortnight” music video.

There was also a platform that moved around the stage as Taylor sang on it, which is something fans have not yet seen before on her tour.

Halfway through the set, Swift’s dancers lifted her while old timey, black and white film music played in the background and as she changed into a new gold and black outfit .

Here is the setlist for the new era:

  • “But Daddy I Love Him” and “So High School” mash-up
  • ”Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?“
  • “Fortnight”
  • ”The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived”
  • ”I Can Do It With a Broken Heart”

New ‘Eras Tour’ merchandise

The next best things after seeing Taylor Swift live is getting your hands on new tour merchandise.

After the concert, her website was updated with the merch : shirts and sweatshirts with the TTPD promo picture in the middle where the “Midnights” picture once was. The other eras surround the rectangular TTPD photo.

Travis Kelce Has No Idea Where He Is Right Now, But He Knows Taylor Swift’s Latest Show Was “A Whole ’Nother Level”

By Kase Wickman

Where in the world is Travis Kelce ? Somewhere in Europe with Taylor Swift , Paris or Stockholm or…somewhere in between.

In the latest episode of Kelce’s New Heights podcast published Wednesday , which he co-hosts with brother Jason Kelce , Travis wouldn’t—and, frankly, maybe actually couldn’t—share where he was recording from. When asked where he was, Travis responded, “I can neither disclose that information nor do I know. I can give you a continent: I’m in Europe.”

As Jason said later in the episode, “It’s very easy to keep tabs on Travis now. It’s hard to be inconspicuous these days when you’re Travis Kelce.” Indeed, the entire Swift-interested world saw Travis dancing in the stands during Swift’s Sunday night show in Paris, her fourth and final concert of her run in the city, complete with shoutouts to her NFL tight end boyfriend , from dance moves mimicking his own while singing a song about him (“So High School”) to a new costume in Kansas City Chiefs colors, and kisses blown to him in the stands. (Relatedly, Swift is now the one wearing short skirts and Travis is in the bleachers, for those tracking their progress on the “You Belong With Me” unified scale.)

speak now eras tour kansas city

"It was fun, it was a blast,” Travis said of his jaunt to the city of lights. “I had a blast at Tay's show. Her new rendition of the Eras Tour, I suggest everyone go see it. It has her new Tortured Poets Department , a few songs, a handful of those songs in the new show, which means there's a new segment and new lights and new, like, dancing and new everything to the fucking show, so. I suggest everybody get out there and see it, it was absolutely unbelievable, I enjoyed every bit of it.”

Those bits include dancing with Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid , too, noted pals and couplecation companions of Swift and Kelce ’s. Cooper even got the nickname treatment from Travis, several times over.

“I got to see Gigi and Bradley, Bradley Cooper, man, BC, B. Coop,” he said. “We were all in the suite having a blast. They’re amazing.”

This is Travis’s fifth visit to the Eras Tour: First, in July 2023, which feels shockingly recent given all that’s happened since then, he stood in the crowd in his home stadium in Kansas City, hoping to give Swift his number the old-fashioned way (on a friendship bracelet, obviously). Fast-forward, and he’s now also vibed to his now-girlfriend’s shows in Buenos Aires , Sydney , Singapore , and now Paris.

“I don’t know if they’re getting better, or if I just keep forgetting how they are,” he said of Swift’s revamped show in Paris. “It was electric in there. And I’ll tell you what. Kansas City showed out, Argentina was unbelievable. Australia, they party with the best of them and celebrate with the best of them, those three were unbelievable. Singapore was so unique and so fun, and then Paris, just, it was on a whole ‘nother level, man. I’m happy for everybody that’s in the Eras Tour that’s performing, from the dancers to the band and obviously Taylor, that it just looks like they’re having so much fun up there. They’re absolutely killing it and they’re putting on a show that you won’t get anywhere else.”

All of his enthusiasm and support for Swift, however, couldn’t prevent Travis from being on the receiving end of some brotherly roasting from Jason, who accused him of being “caught pulling an Ed Kelce ” and taking video at the show with his phone’s flash on, as one’s aging father might.

“I was doing what?” Travis asked. “Oh, you know, the settings on the camera, if it’s dark it’s going to automatically put the flash on. I don’t understand. I was just trying to get some good video, some good memories, I don’t give a damn. Did I get clowned for that? Sorry.”

Swift’s next stop on the Eras Tour is in Stockholm, Sweden, though even NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell , who made a surprise cameo in Jason’s recording session in New York, where he’s preparing for his next chapter as part of ESPN’s Monday Night Football team, couldn’t get Travis to say whether he’d be there too. Goodell ribbed Travis about the videos of him dancing, then asked if he’s “gonna be back sometime this spring.”

“I’m gonna be dancing around, I’m all around the world this off-season,” Travis returned in a non-answer to his great-great-grandboss. “It’ll be nice, it’s like my yin to my yang, football. It keeps me locked in Kansas City during the season and I just gotta fly around and have some fun in the offseason.”

The NFL pre-season begins in August, with the official season starting in September.

Travis Kelce attends final ‘Eras Tour’ show in Paris

Taylor Swift is lighting up Paris!

The singer is in the French capital for the European leg of her “Eras Tour” at the Paris La Défense Arena from May 9 to May 12 with new costumes, an edited setlist and an era she’s nicknamed “female rage, the musical.”

During her May 9 show, Swift shouted out the crowd, saying the energy in Paris makes her want to bring out “all kinds of fun surprises.”

Then for her final show in the City of Light, Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce , was spotted in the crowd.

Some Swifties traveled thousands of miles to catch one of the singer’s four Paris shows — and in fact, anywhere between 20% and 30% of fans who were set to watch Swift in Paris are American, the arena’s CEO, Frederic Longuépée, told NBC News.

Parisian hotels and restaurants will be packed throughout the weekend, which is a good test for the city’s infrastructure and security leading up to another major event this summer: the 2024 Paris Olympics .

“For four nights, we’ll be the center of the world, which is important to us, because it’s a rehearsal for the Olympics, obviously,” Longuépée said.

Taylor Swift performs onstage

These shows mark the first time Swift has performed onstage since the release of her record-shattering studio album , “The Tortured Poets Department ." After much speculation, Swift officially switched up her more than three-hour setlist, cutting some songs to make room for a new section dedicated to her 11th album.

Read on to learn more about Taylor Swift’s Paris “Eras Tour” shows , including how to buy last-minute tickets.

When are Taylor Swift’s Paris tour dates?

There will be four "Eras Tour" dates in Paris on May 9, 10, 11 and 12, with shows beginning at 6:30 p.m. local time.

Each show will take place at the Paris La Défense Arena, which is the largest indoor performance venue in Europe. The massive venue can accommodate 40,000 spectators in "concert mode," according to the arena’s website . Gates will open for attendees at 4:45 p.m.

Paramore will open for Swift at her Paris shows.

What time is it in Paris?

Paris is six hours ahead of the U.S.

Since Swift's shows start around 6:30 p.m. in Paris, Americans looking to follow along online should anticipate doing so at 12:30 p.m. ET.

Is Travis Kelce going to Taylor Swift’s Paris shows?

Kelce was spotted in the crowd during Swift's May 12 show in Paris.

According to videos posted to X by fans, Kelce could be seeing dancing to Swift's songs.

Kelce also showed support when she restarted her record-breaking tour May 9. Swift's longtime guitarist Paul Sidoti shared a picture of him and Swift performing onstage with the caption, "The Eras Tour Europe starts tonight.. Paris you’re up first.. who’s coming?"

Kelce hopped into the comments section with, "Lfg!!!" and several raised hands emoji.

Kelce was not spotted at the May 9, 10 or 11 shows. Niecy Nash-Betts shared a video of Kelce May 1 1 on the set of the new Ryan Murphy show “ Grotesquerie, ” one of the tight end’s first major acting roles.

Kelce said in the past he would definitely be supporting his girlfriend during the European leg of her "Eras Tour."

“London’s always an amazing city, Paris is a beautiful city. She’ll be all over Europe, so there won’t be a bad show, I promise you that,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end told "Entertainment Tonight" in April.

Asked whether he would be packing his bags for any show in particular , Kelce replied, “Oh, you know I gotta go support.”

“Yeah, I mean, I think we’re both very career driven,” he added. “I think we both love what we do, and any chance that I can show my support to her, and knowing that she’s showing me all the support in the world throughout the season, it’s just been an amazing experience getting to know Tay.”

The weekend before Swift headed to Paris, Kelce was living his best life at the Kentucky Derby. The NFL star opened up about the “once-in-a-lifetime experience” at the May 4 race at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky.

“I’m a Derby guy now, man,” Kelce said on the May 8 episode of the “New Heights” podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce. “It was so much fun.”

What will be changing during this leg of the ‘Eras Tour’?

Swift’s Paris shows will be her first live performances since the release of her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” in April.

Six songs (plus one bridge) from the new double album made it into the “Eras Tour” set list: “But Daddy I Love Him,” “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me? ,” “Down Bad,” “Fortnight ,” “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived,” “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart” and part of “So High School .”

During Swift ’ s surprise song set May 10, the singer said she started planning the “Tortured Poets” set “about eight or nine months ago.”

“Then when we got two months off of the ‘Eras Tour,’ we really didn’t take any time off at all. We just went directly back into rehearsal,” she said.

The singer hinted a t the a ddition in an April 25 YouTube Shorts video , which showed a montage of Swift and her backup dancers rehearsing for their European shows.

Many of the scenes were familiar from previous "Eras Tour" shows, but fans noticed one brand-new scene: Swift standing with her backup dancers behind her sporting top hats and holding canes.

That clip previewed an energetic performance of "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart."

“OMG SHE IS ADDING A NEW ERAAAAAAAAAA,”one fan commented on her YouTube video.

“WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT HOW THIS MEANS TAYLOR IS ADDING TTPD TO THE ERAS TOUR SETLIST!?!?” another person wrote.

“The Tortured Poets Department” has been shattering records since its April 19 release. The day it came out, the album became Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single day, and Swift became Spotify’s most-streamed artist in a single day, the streaming service announced on Instagram .

The album also launched with a record-breaking 2.6 million equivalent album units (which includes downloads, streams, and CD, vinyl and cassette sales) earned the first week of its release in the U.S., according Luminate, Billboard reported.

Swift said her “mind is blown” by the album’s success.

“I’m completely floored by the love you’ve shown this album,” she wrote in an April 28 Instagram post . “2.6 million ARE YOU ACTUALLY SERIOUS?? Thank you for listening, streaming, and welcoming Tortured Poets into your life. Feeling completely overwhelmed.

“I was already so fired up to get back to the tour but you doing THIS??” she added. “May 9th can’t come soon enough.”
