Bieber’s latest album, Justice, received mostly positive reviews from critics.
The Independent praised it as a considerable step up from his previous record, Purpose, commenting: “The musicianship in these new songs holds a mirror to [Bieber’s] newfound maturity. Tinny hip-hop beats and oversaturated synths have been replaced with funky guitar grooves and tight percussion.”
The review added: “Bieber seems determined to move past his R&B-lite sound and spend more time with classic songwriters. The pacy single ‘Hold On’ flirts with a Fleetwood Mac-style bassline and Eighties riffs, while ‘Ghost’ intersperses the acoustic guitar with a more dance-friendly beat. Elsewhere, ‘Off My Face’ makes a gentlemanly tip-of-the-hat to Simon and Garfunkel with its ‘Mrs Robinson’ ‘ooh ooh oohs’.”

Justin Bieber Quietly Cancels Remainder Of World Tour After Postponing Shows For Health Reasons
Entertainment Editor
Justin Bieber has cancelled the remaining dates on his Justice world tour, which were postponed last year for health reasons.
Back in September, Justin announced he was postponing the remainder of his Justice world tour on medical grounds, after previously delaying a string of shows due to a Ramsay Hunt syndrome diagnosis .
“After getting offstage the exhaustion overtook me and I realised I need to make my health the priority right now,” Justin told his fans at the time.
“So I’m going to take a break from touring right now. I’m going to be OK but I need to take time to rest and get better. Thank you for all your prayers and support throughout all this. I love you all passionately.”
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Justin Bieber (@justinbieber)
The NHS website describes Ramsay Hunt syndrome as a facial nerve disorder “caused by a virus in the facial nerve and is a more severe cause of facial paralysis”.
It’s now been revealed that the rest of the Justice tour has been axed.
Although Justin – who is celebrating his 29th birthday on Wednesday – is yet to address the cancellation, promoters in Australia and Asia have confirmed shows there will no longer be going ahead.
Fans in the UK have also been sharing screenshots of emails telling them that the shows had been cancelled, with many voicing their disappointment at the way they found out the news...
literally NO explanation. no message from justin himself. just a cold ‘your justin bieber concert is cancelled’ e-mail. pic.twitter.com/q7NpfQpDcD — esther 🧸 (@donutcrawf) February 28, 2023

Gutted that Justin Bieber is cancelled. Wish him and his health well but would have appreciated a statement or something from him. Especially that he was at London fashion week — casey (@casey_baughan) February 28, 2023
Not even sad about the Justin Bieber tour officially being cancelled (after booking more than a year ago) seeing as he couldn’t even make a statement himself. An email from Ticketmaster is all I’ve got. — Chloe 💕 (@ChloeReadsBooks) February 28, 2023

Could’ve cried when I opened my Justin Bieber cancelled tour email 😭😭😭 — Sadia Afzal (@sadiaafzal_) February 28, 2023
A spokesperson for Justin Bieber had no comment when contacted by HuffPost UK, but they did confirm that the tour had been cancelled.
Justin’s Justice World tour was originally supposed to kick off in May 2020, but was postponed twice due to the pandemic.
After finally opening in February 2022, the second show of the tour had to be cancelled when the star contracted Covid-19 himself.

Justin Bieber’s Friends Are ‘Worried He’s Spiraling Again’ After Erratic Coachella Behavior
- Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later. More content below
He definitely surprised the crowd. In oversized cargo pants, a sweatshirt that swallowed his thin frame and a baseball cap pulled down low, Justin Bieber joined Tems for a song during her Coachella set in Indio, California, on April 14.
“He looked like he just stepped out of the audience,” a witness says of the singer, who has only performed sporadically since canceling his Justice tour after a viral infection caused partial face paralysis in June 2022. “It’s a good sign he felt comfortable enough to get on stage, and a lot of fans are hoping this means he’ll be making his music comeback soon.”
But judging by his erratic behavior offstage, they may have a while to wait. It’s been exactly one year since Justin r egained mobility in his face , but “he’s still fragile and seemed checked-out all weekend,” a source says of the singer, who has a history of substance abuse and violent rages. “He finally got his health back, but now friends are worried that he’s spiraling again.”
The past few years have been a roller coaster.
“He has severe ups and downs,” says the source.
Justin, 30, has struggled with Lyme disease, depression and anger management, and has also admitted to daily use of alcohol, marijuana and “pretty heavy drugs” during his lowest points.
“I hit a little bit of an emotional breakdown because I thought marriage was going to fix all my problems, and it didn’t,” he said of his first year with wife Hailey Bieber , 27. But his wife’s unwavering support and his Christian faith eventually “saved his life,” says the source. “He wouldn’t be here without her.”
The model, whose father, Stephen Baldwin , is a recovering addict, has confessed it was “extremely difficult” to navigate Justin’s issues with sobriety. “I’ve had times where I would get nervous, [asking Justin,] ‘Are you OK to do this? Because you did have a time in your life where it was not OK for you and it was a dark time for you.’”
Therapy and counseling with their pastor has helped, “but there’s only so much Hailey can do to keep Justin from going off the rails again,” says the source, noting that her dad posted a request that fans say “a little prayer” for the couple in February, and Justin hasn’t been wearing his wedding ring lately. “Their relationship isn’t in the best place right now, but she’s always afraid of what would happen to him if she wasn’t around. She can’t leave him.”
And she’s refused to give up on him. “Their marriage is Hailey’s priority, as well as keeping him healthy,” says the source. “Coachella was a huge accomplishment for Justin, and everyone is rooting for him. But he’s still very fragile.”

Justin Bieber kisses Jaden Smith on the neck at Coachella in viral video
Share this with
Justin Bieber showed toxic masculinity was not his forte as he gave his long time friend, Jaden Smith , a smooch on the neck at Coachella .
In a sweet moment caught on camera by fans, Bieber, 30, gave his friend Smith, 25, a big kiss on the neck when he came to greet him by giving him a big hug from behind.
The pair jokingly danced a little while they hugged and Justin then gave his pal of over a decade a smooch on the side of face, basically his upper neck, after they broke apart.
Bieber and Will Smith ’s son, who have been friends since 2010 when they collaborated on a song Never Say Never for the film Karate Kid, chatted intently at the festival as they joined a wider group of friends.
The duo have been friends for a long time and were seen hanging out at a mutual friends birthday only a few months ago in January earlier this year.
This lowkey reunion delighted fans with many complementing their wholesome silly interaction.
https://www.instagram.com/p/C5wgHhLyu3b/
Bieber attended this festival seemingly as a fan but surprised fans as he joined Tems on stage at Coachella to perform their hit song, Essence.
The Canadian teen popstar turned R&B singer delighted Coachella fans on Sunday night when he transformed from a festival-goer to a performer as he joined Wizkid to support Tems and perform their 2020 hit song.
The trio left fans with their jaws on the floor as the audience erupted into applause when the Peaches singer appeared on stage.
This was a particularly exciting moment for Bieber fans as it marked his second performance since he announced he was dealing with a serious health issue.
Sorry, this video isn't available any more.
In 2022, Bieber, 30, revealed his facial paralysis diagnosis , known as Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which was the result of a virus and caused him to cancel several shows at the end of his world tour.
He shared a video at the time that highlighted his delayed facial movement and sparked concern from fans as he said: ‘But obviously my body is telling me I’ve got to slow down and I hope you guys understand.’
In addition to this, in 2020, Bieber confirmed his battle with Lyme Disease and spoke about how the debilitating disease even ‘affected his brain function.’
What is Ramsay Hunt syndrome?
Per the NHS website, Ramsay Hunt syndrome is, ‘a rare condition where a virus affects your facial nerve, causing weakness on one side of your face and sometimes hearing problems.’
Ramsay Hunt syndrome can also cause blisters in the mouth, ears, and the roof of your mouth.
This is dissimilar to Bell’s palsy which is the most common cause of facial paralysis and less severe than Ramsay Hunt syndrome.
His health journey and delayed return to the stage is perhaps why fans were so ecstatic when the Love Yourself singer performed at the festival.
One fan, @JAILEYSWRLD, said on X: ‘The screams when he came on stage… justin bieber you will always be famous.’
@bizzleslust added: ‘All justin bieber does is get on stage “once” in a year and reminds everyone WHO TF HE IS.’
In addition to singing the hit tune which was nominated for the best global music performance in the 2022 Grammy Awards, Bieber and his wife Hailey, 27, were spotted getting romantic at Coachella .
The couple who have been married since 2018, were seen kissing and cuddling while watching other artists perform. Their amorous display effectively killed rumours of a split or unhappiness in their marriage which have plagued them for years.

Hayley Williams Is ‘So Ready' to Tour With Taylor Swift
Hayley Williams is loving this new Taylor Swift era.
The Paramore frontwoman took to her Instagram Stories following the release of her longtime pal Swift's 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department , to name the project as one of her favorites in honor of Record Store Day. "Had me from the storytelling alone, my friend," Williams wrote alongside the cover art. "Every one of us knows this kind of grief! It's so impressive to me how specific and colorful Taylor's words get without ever losing the universal thread. I'm so ready to be tour-mates."
Paramore is set to serve as Swift's opening act on the sprawling Eras Tour when it resumes on May 9 in Paris, France. The band will remain on the tour throughout its international dates.
Swift announced the news in July 2023 in the form of a post featuring a picture of the two old friends with their arms draped over each other's shoulders. "Really can't contain my excitement because… we're adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour," she wrote. "And I get to travel the world doing shows with @paramore!! Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I'm screaming???"
Most recently, Swift and Williams teamed up for "Castles Crumbling" off of 2023's Speak Now (Taylor's Version) .
