Brent Faiyaz Unveils 2023 Tour Dates and Video, Strikes Partnership With UnitedMasters

Fast-rising R&B star Brent Faiyaz  has struck a wide-ranging partnership with Steve Stoute’s company UnitedMasters that spans a recording partnership and a creative agency.

To celebrate the news, Faiyaz also reveals the dates and details for his 2023 worldwide headline tour, “F*ck the World, It’s a Wasteland.” It kicks off on July 16 in Landover, MD at Broccoli City Festival, and visits major markets worldwide including Chicago, New York, Toronto, Miami, Atlanta, Milan, and Paris before coming to an end on November 20 in London, UK at Eventim Apollo.

Additionally, he just shared the music video for his infectious song “Rolling Stone,” from his 2022 album “Wasteland,” which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Brent Faiyaz on Tour

Brent Faiyaz is a thoroughly contemporary R&B star, as interested in the complexities of modern romance as he is the inner workings of the soul, and frequently operating outside the boundaries of any one genre. But he's old-school when it comes to performance. The man's voice is powerfully crisp and emotive whether he's hitting falsettos over a hazy beat or (more often) the live grooves of his three-piece band or a single acoustic guitar. It's easy to see why the Maryland native draws comparisons to '90s R&B stars like Ginuwine, or Slim from 112. And as heard on both his solo albums and especially his work with the trio Sonder (rounded out by producers Dpat and Atu), he's also drawn to the type of lush and percussive beats that Timbaland pioneered. But whether he's singing the hook on GoldLink's Grammy-nominated "Crew" (featured in HBO's Insecure) or stretching out across the 10 tracks of his boldly inventive 2020 album F*ck the World, Faiyaz is also clearly drawn to the woozy, vibey and sometimes introverted feel of auteurs like the Weeknd, Frank Ocean and Miguel.

Brent Faiyaz in Concert

Brent Faiyaz was born in Baltimore-adjacent Columbia, Maryland. Though he was solidly a hip-hop head as a kid, his older brother soon put him onto '90s R&B acts, effectively sealing his fate. His obsession with Jodeci grew even as Faiyaz began making beats and recording raps in his room, almost in defiance of his natural gift for melody. At last, a would-be manager told him what he needed to hear — "just sing" — and Faiyaz shifted gears. He realized that he didn't have to embrace a prepackaged R&B image to succeed as a singer. In 2014, he shared the bracingly vivid and cinematic "Natural Release" on SoundCloud. Around the same time, he quit his grocery store job and spent his tax return to make it to Los Angeles. It proved to be a smart gamble, as a series of singles soon evolved into his hotly tipped A.M. Paradox EP (2016) and roundly celebrated, increasingly personal Sonder Son album (2017), recorded during a monthlong stay in his father's native Domincan Republic. While Faiyaz took some worthy detours — appearing on GoldLink's "Crew," Juice WRLD's Death Race for Love and a handful of Sonder releases — he saved his strongest statement for 2020's F*ck the World which, despite the title, felt deeply warm, inviting, vulnerable and imaginative.

Brent faiyaz was great. I paid for the Enhanced Legacy Experience & it was definitely not worth it. Paid 220 for a very poor experience. Other than that it was very good nice clean sounding surround sound throughout the theater.

Wasteland Tour

Best experience ever and will definitely be going again in the future and I definitely recommend to anyone else to definitely go to a Brent faiyaz show, event, concert anything he has !

Nothing Less than Amazing.

A whole vibe. Vocals was amazing. Everyone knew the words. Very fun time. Traveled all the way from Atlanta, Ga to see him live. Worth every penny. Just wish his tickets didn’t sell out so fast.

Brent Faiyaz Announces World Tour and New Music with Marshmallow

Breakout R&B artist Brent Faiyaz is set to hit the road in 2023 on his headlining F*ck The World, It’s a Wasteland Tour.

The vocalist jumped on social media Tuesday (May 2) morning to share the exciting news, revealing the upcoming dates. The “ALL MINE” singer-songwriter is slated to kick-start the world tour on July 16 in Washington, DC, at the Broccoli City Festival.

He will hit massive markets like Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, and Miami before heading across the pound to perform in Europe. The highly anticipated affair will wrap in late November in London.

His announcement comes on the heels of inking a deal with Steve Stoute’s business, UnitedMasters. The distribution company helps independent artists “financially and creatively.” 

“Brent Faiyaz is one of the most prolific independent artists today, and we are extremely excited to embark on this new partnership with him,” said Stoute, the UnitedMasters CEO and Founder in a statement . “It’s been inspiring to watch his journey as an artist over the years, and with this partnership, we look to further amplify his creative vision and support his entrepreneurial ambitions.”

Faiyaz plans to keep the positive momentum up by joining forces with Marshmallow ahead of the tour. The electronic DJ and producer recently [May 1] teased a snippet of their track “Fell In Love.” 

The short video featured Faiyaz in a deserted field, hitting it off with a lucky lady. While they flirt under the moonlight, “Fell In Love” plays in the background and a heart-shaped Marshmallow appears. 

The single is expected to arrive on May 5, the same day tickets will go on sale for his highly anticipated tour.

The fast-rising artist also dropped a captivating music video for his track “ROLLING STONE,” which lives on his 19-song album,  WASTELAND . In less than 24 hours, the clip garnered 115K views on YouTube alone.

Brent Faiyaz Announced His ‘F*ck The World, It’s A Wasteland’ Tour With The Video For ‘Rolling Stone’

Brent Faiyaz’s last two albums, F*ck The World and Wasteland , are getting a joint tour. Kicking off in July, the aptly titled F*ck The World, It’s A Wasteland Tour will see the Maryland singer traverse not only the United States, hitting such events as Broccoli City Festival , Central Park Summerstage, and Sol Blume along the way, but also Europe and the UK through the end of the year.

Brent Faiyaz Announces ‘F*ck The World, It’s a Wasteland Tour’ Dates

R&B sensation Brent Faiyaz has unveiled the dates for his 2023  F*ck The World, It’s A Wasteland Tour. 

The North American leg kicks off July 16 at Broccoli City Festival in Washington, D.C.

From there, Faiyaz will play in Chicago, Toronto, New York City, Miami, Houston and Las Vegas. He’ll conclude the first leg in Las Vegas, Nevada, at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

Faiyaz will launch the U.K./Europe leg on Oct. 16 in Leeds. He will perform in other major cities such as Manchester, London, Berlin and Barcelona, before wrapping up in London on Nov. 20.

Tickets for F*ck The World, It’s A Wasteland Tour  go on sale this Friday, May 5 at brentfaiyaz.com .

Faiyaz’s forthcoming tour will support his sophomore album,  Wasteland , which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums  chart and No. 2 on the Billboard 200 .

The album was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in December 2022 for selling more than 500,000 equivalent units.

Wasteland  includes Faiyaz’s hit single “ All Mine ,” which reached No. 1 at urban radio, as well as his Drake-assisted banger “ Wasting Time ,” produced by The Neptunes.

Faiyaz’s tour will also support his 2020 EP, F*ck The World .

The tour is in support of the R&B singer’s most recent album, last year’s ‘Wastleland’, which featured singles ‘All Mine’ and Drake -assisted ‘Wasting Time’.

The DMV singer has revealed that he will be going on a 42-stop world tour that kicks off this month in Florida. The extensive US leg will be followed by five UK shows in October, starting at Leeds’ O2 Academy and ending in London at the Eventim Apollo.

Tickets go on sale this Friday (May 5) and will be available here .

The announcement also celebrates the news that Brent Faiyaz’s choice to stay independent has landed him a wide-ranging partnership with Steve Stoute’s company UnitedMasters worth $50 million. The deal will include a recording partnership and a creative agency.

Back in July 2022, Brent Faiyaz unleashed his highly anticipated WASTELAND album . The project included appearances from stars like Raphael Saadiq, Jordan Waré, Alicia Keys, L3gion, The-Dream, Jonathan “Freeze” Wells, Jorja Smith, DJ Dahi, and more. Prior to its release, fans were able to enjoy some well-received previews like “Gravity” featuring Tyler, The Creator and “Wasting Time” featuring Drake.

Yesterday (May 2), the Maryland-raised singer dropped a major announcement for fans. This summer, the “ALL MINE” artist will head out on his “F**k the World, It’s a Wasteland Tour.” The worldwide trek will kick off on July 16 at Broccoli City Festival in Landover and proceed to hit major cities like Chicago, Toronto, Miami, Paris, and Milan. It will come to a close on Nov. 20 in London.
