The best day of our holiday!

The Marmaris jeep safari was honestly the best part of our holiday to Turkey this summer. Extremely good fun from7 to 77 and great value for money. Marmaris Travel is the best safari company in town and they are brilliant. The safari takes up full day day, but is well worth it. They picked us up from our hotel with some other guests and then taken from an introduction chat with the other jeeps. The guys in the team are very friendly, great with their English skills and informative. The safari tour involves driving through villages with the mountain scenery around you will stop at the waterfall, Jesus beach, lunch, local villages. Some little tips that will help you: take a towel and sunglasses for the dirt track - you will get wet and a little muddy! Also, take a camera, but (don't forget to protect it from water and mud) if you want as there are so many photo opportunities. There's a photographer taking photos of you the entire safari tour and you can buy all your pictures and videos on a CD. I would highly recommend Marmaris Jeep Safari to anyone staying in the town, whether it's couples, families or groups of friends.

One of the best day out during our holiday in Marmaris this summer, getting soaked with water guns, to swim in the waterfall. You see some beautiful scenery out in the country side when out on the jeeps. Lunch was very good then off to Jesus island to walk in the ans relax. Great day !!!

There no animals on this safari tour but the water fight can bring out some competitivenessIt was the best fun ever! They stop off for waterfall which is really good and Jesus Beech was cool too. Note of warning if you do decide to go on this trip bring a towel, perhaps a spare tshirt. if you have phone with you, it is worth while bring a plastic seal-able bag to protect it from the water!

Important notes

The jeep safari was one of the best activities we did as a group! It was very competitive and we got stuck in. Was great fun and we got completely drenched, it was brilliant!!! Jeep safari was such a laugh, throwing water bombs to the other jeeps and squirting with the water guns, it was crazy.

Great way to end it was going to the Jesus beach and a beautiful waterfall that you were able to jump off! Great pictures and videos where taken throughout the day and not to forget the good was fab! Definitely would do it again, money well spent, memories not to be forgotten!

Jeep safari is real fun , fun , fun !!!! We booked couple trips from mares travel and jeep safari tour in Marmaris was one of the best one that i can recommend you guys . Wear your swimming costume because you will get really wet during the day. Its really good day out if you have children in your group.

We had a wonderful holiday in Marmaris this summer during our stay in this beautiful town we have done couple of excursions but the best one was the Marmaris Jeep Safari Tour. If you ever plaining a holiday in Marmaris then i will definitly recommed to do the jeep safari in Marmaris. Belive it is always well worth. We booked our jeep safari tour through Mares Travel online which worked out significantly cheaper than through Thomas Cook at our hotel or the offers on the street. In the morning we were put into our jeep (4 of us, another family of 4 and a couple) the driver spoke little English but was friendly and entertaining. We were a convoy of 6 jeeps, led by a colorful character named Rambo who was very talkative & gave us lots of information.

The water fights between jeeps were brilliant fun, a real highlight for the kids and a great way to cool down in the heat!

Lunch was also good, we enjoyed a basic meal of salads, breads and chicken kebabs.

The setting at the waterfall was lovely & we were brave enough to swim in the icy cold water (take your breath away cold!)

This is a great day out for children and adults alike, we had the best day and time flies by so quickly. Definitely recommend bringing an extra T-shirt or something because you do get soaked in the water fight but the heat does tend to dry you off quite quickly. Do not confuse Mares Travel company with some of the jeep safari company in this area, Mares is a superbly run company and their safari tours are first class. Jeep safari is the most fun I have had in ages. Having never done a safari tour like this I didnt know what to expect, but it was great fun. I just never stopped laughing all day and I would easily recommend this safari tour to anyone.

The tour started after they picked us up outside our hotel and drove up through Marmaris and into the pine forests with our driver Rambo is driving the jeep and finding every muddy puddle he could drive through. We had lots of fun with the water fights. Definitely one of the best trip ever thanks to Rambo thank you guys.

This is one of the first trips we done at marmaris and it was fun from start to finish, you will get really wet but you soon dry of and Rambo had my boys laughing all the time but you need to see the funny side with his humour as it won’t be for everyone. The jeep safari is a great way to see the surrounding countryside and villages of the Marmaris area. The day is a must for those adventurous at heart and who wish to enjoy stunning views and scenery off the beaten track, whilst having fun in an open top jeep.

DEPARTURE: Every day. Pick up at approx. 09:30 from Marmaris / Icmeler. RETURN: Approx. 18.00. Price Includes: Pick up from the hotel and drop off, lunch, insurance, driver, and guide.

Jeep Safari-Off Road / Village Tour:   You will be picked up from your hotel by your allocated jeep at around 9:30 am. All the jeeps will gather at a meeting spot just up the hill above Marmaris and will form a convoy of usually 5 – 15 jeeps. The day is not a race and the convoy will travel in an orderly fashion at appropriate speeds for the terrain.

The speed limit on mountain tracks is 50 km/h (30 mph). The convoy will climb up the mountains and take a stop at the top for a photo opportunity of the stunning panoramic view of the Marmaris bay. The convoy will then continue on mountain tracks through villages and beautiful countryside.

The jeeps will make a stop at a waterfall and a secluded beach for swim stops and there will be plenty of opportunities for more spectacular photographs of the surrounding views. Lunch is provided in a small traditional village cooked by local Turkish villagers.

After lunch, the convoy continues inland and again goes off-road through the rugged mountains. There will be plenty of sights to see along the way pointed out by the guides and of course the famous water-fight to look forward to.

Please note that water pistols are available to hire from the guides for an extra charge. You will arrive back at your accommodation at approximately between 17:00-18:00 pm.

DO NOT FORGET TO BRING: – Sunglasses – Suncream – Towel – Camera – Swimwear (it is a good idea to wear swimwear underneath your clothes)

There were very nice pictures among those, but we were a little disappointed, because the photos of the waterfall and “Jesus beach” were not among them, despite the fact that you took portraits there. Trip good. Went on June 10. But here DVD bought from photographers upset. Shootings awful. The picture skips, there are no sharpnesses, clips for 5 seconds with fragmentary endings. It is a pity that spent money for this DVD. I thought that photographers professionals. On a disk with photos I selected only 80 with high quality. Too there are a lot of indistinct. If I go next time, I will count only on the camera.

Do not take anything electrical with you. No phones, no camera nothing! We booked this when we were there and were never told about the water fight. Even the description here is not great. You and the whole of the truck will get drenched. My friend and I brought our bags with our phones and cameras and we were so miserable. There was nothing we could do to stop our bags getting wet even putting our towels over them. My phone broke!

At one point they got a huge hose out and there was nothing you could do to get away with it. We were so miserable.

The guy who was in charge came over to ask us if we would like the video, we said no thankyou. It wasn’t happy with this so I told him I had been on the jeep safari before (completely different) and have the video from that. So he said “why even bother coming then” and stormed off.

We were so miserable after this trip. Though we know we could of had more fun if we were prepared for what was going to happen and the guy wasn’t nasty to us.

I would stick to thomas cook/thomson/first choice jeep safari as it is so much better. No water fights and better locations.

We have done other trips with his company like boat trip/Cleopatra beach trip it was lovely!

Just go with a warning, imagine jumping in a swimming pool fully clothed. That is how wet you will get. Your towels will be soaked as well.

I’d recommend anyone to do this. 4 of us just got back from a week in Marmaris and we did this on one of the days! It was fantastic fun and only £12.50 each – such a bargain! We also got a CD of the pics of the day and a DVD for 50 lira (about £17) deleivered to the hotel that night. Jesus beach was great and the scenery was lovely – be prepared to hire your water pistol. It’s only 10 lira and although optional, it wouldn’t be half as much fun without one!!

Each year I go to Turkey and each year we do a Jeep Safari.. Last time I ended up in hospital due to a careless driver but can’t knock it for the price. It was still such a laugh, although the hospital costs wern’t so funny

last time i went on a jeep saari in turkey we had a huge water fight not just with water guns will that happen because i enjoyed that alot it was amazing hope we do

you can book through your rep but i found it a bit more expensive doing it that way. when i went last year there are loads of places around the beach front selling excursions, you can usually haggle the prices down with these guyss (: have fun xx

my friend and myself went on jeep safari in sept2011. it was a brilliant time, b prepared to get soaked through;the jeeps stay together in a convoy, it is a really good day out, beautiful scenery.  we were in armutalan so we booked from there through the ones who run the trips it cost£10.00. u ay extra for ur gun, they video ur day out and you can order it and get it that evening. we had a brillant driver his name was talip. definately a trip well worth splashing out on. the jeeps all meet in the rio resturant in armutalan, nicky and dr,tango will take ur booking and money there in the resturant,  go and enjoy………………….

you can book them all over marmaris, they all charge about the same, dont book through your rep its cheeper booking yourself when your there, were going back ourselfs in september this year cant wait we usually go in june but its still  HOT HOT HOT  september, have a great time

when we first went to turkey we did this, was amazing and really fun, only problem was there was wasps all over the place so we couldnt realy eat are food flying in to the drinks we had, was really fun though

our jeep safari was a total nightmare..firstly our jeep broke down, instead of getting us another we were put in another jeep that already had three people in. two of our group had to stand. the driver was a mad man with no regard to safety. he was speeding down a public road trying to over take his friend in the jeep ahead. 

I have a really odd question we went on this safari whilst on Thomson cruises and we brought a dvd to keep the memories and my dad decided to throes it away is there anyway of getting another one? My email is [email protected] please help. X

this is the best thing ever!!! i was in marmaris for two weeks end of july beginning of august! we did the jeep safari twice while there. It was an extra 10lira for the water gun, but trust me its well worth it consindering when i was there 10lira was about 3quidish. also they do a dvd which u can buy at the end of the day, its hillirous to take home and show your family and friends. absoulutletly loved it, and you catch a mint tan aswell. you get picked up around 9ish drive into the mountains, all wait for all the other jeeps, you have the massive water fight in your jeeps. driving past each other and just squirting the water at absoulutley anyone! then u stop at the beach, go for lunch the the water falls then drop you off at your hotel about half 5ish. if you dont go you will regret it!!

if you go turkey i would advise you to do this it is a very good trip! but take spare clothes as you will get drenched in water !

Def. one of the best days out for all the family, a good way to get out of the town for a while and get a taster for Turkish rural life! Just come back from Marmaris 30.06.2011 – 8 July 2011 – 1st time in Turkey. LOVED IT!!!

I have to recommend the Jeep Safari – £14.99 each – pick up from hotel 9am, drop off 6pm – this includes safari, lunch and various stops along the way – Jesus Beach & waterfalls etc.

You get totally soaked to the skin – well worth it though. You pay 10 Lira (£4) for loan of super-soaker water guns and there are a couple of stops for you to re-fill your ‘weapons’.

There are about 15 LandRovers in a convoy – overtaking on bends and blasting you with water on route. The drivers every bit crazy as the passengers! An excellent fun-filled day for both children and the big kids at heart. A terrific day for all – well worth the money – we wanted to go EVERY DAY!! That good.

Can’t wait to go back – watch out!!!

hi we took very young children and had a great time the drivers are very considerate

We did this trip last year with a 9 month and 16 month, the driver was brilliant and didnt take our jeep through very rough terrain and the other jeep travellers were mindful that we had babies on board. We all had a brilliant time, very highly recommended!

there called sercution places, ( not sure how its spelt) but every 2 mins and on every corner are these places with all the day trips and they will shout to you asking do u want to go on trips. u wont miss them

Used to go to Marmaris from like 2003 until 2008, we stopped going because we wanted to travel to other places in Turkey. In 2003( around there) jeep safari was so much FUN! I highly Recommend it to Youngsters.

Delivery & Returns - User Agreement

1. If you place an order electronically through the website you are using, you are deemed to have accepted the preliminary information form and the distance sales contract presented to you.

2. Buyers are subject to the provisions of the Law No. 6502 on the Protection of the Consumer and the Regulation on Distance Contracts (RG: 27.11.2014/29188) and other applicable laws regarding the sale and delivery of the product they have purchased.

3. The shipping charges, which are the product shipping cost, will be paid by the buyers.

9. If force majeure occurs that the Seller cannot foresee and the product cannot be delivered on time, the Buyer is notified. The buyer may request the cancellation of the order, the replacement of the product with a similar product or the delay of delivery until the obstacle is removed. If the buyer cancels the order; If he has made the payment in cash, this fee will be paid to him in cash within 14 days from the date of cancellation. If the buyer has made the payment by credit card and cancels it, the product price will be returned to the bank within 14 days from this cancellation, but it is possible that the bank will transfer it to the buyer's account within 2-3 weeks.

BUYER'S OBLIGATION TO CHECK THE PRODUCT:

10. The buyer will inspect the contracted goods/services before receiving them; dented, broken, torn packaging, etc. damaged and defective goods / services will not be received from the cargo company. The received goods/services shall be deemed to be undamaged and intact. The BUYER has to carefully protect the goods/services after delivery. DURATION OF THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL:

13. If the buyer has purchased a service, this 14-day period starts from the date of signing the contract. Before the expiry of the right of withdrawal, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised in service contracts where the performance of the service has started with the approval of the consumer.

14. The costs arising from the use of the right of withdrawal belong to the SELLER.

15. In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, a written notification must be given to the SELLER by registered mail, fax or e-mail within 14 (fourteen) days and the product must not be used within the framework of the provisions of the "Products for which the Right of Withdrawal cannot be exercised" regulated in this contract.

USE OF THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL:

16.3. The invoice of the product delivered to the person or the BUYER, (If the invoice of the product to be returned is corporate, it must be sent with the return invoice issued by the institution when returning it. Order returns whose invoices are issued on behalf of the institutions cannot be completed unless a RETURN INVOICE is issued.)

17. Return form, The products to be returned must be delivered complete and undamaged, together with the box, packaging and standard accessories, if any.

RETURN TERMS:

18. The SELLER is obliged to return the total price and the documents that put the BUYER under debt to the BUYER within 10 days at the latest from the receipt of the withdrawal notification and to return the goods within 20 days.

19. If there is a decrease in the value of the goods due to the BUYER's fault or if the return becomes impossible, the BUYER is obliged to compensate the SELLER's losses in proportion to the defect. However, the BUYER is not responsible for the changes and deteriorations that occur due to the proper use of the goods or products within the period of the right of withdrawal.

20. In case of falling below the campaign limit amount set by the SELLER due to the exercise of the right of withdrawal, the discount amount used within the scope of the campaign is cancelled.

PRODUCTS THAT CANNOT BE USED WITH THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL:

21. Underwear, swimwear and bikini bottoms, make-up materials, disposable products, goods that are in danger of spoiling quickly or that are likely to expire, which are prepared in line with the BUYER's request or clearly personal needs and are not suitable for return, the BUYER's Products that are not suitable for return in terms of health and hygiene if their packaging is opened by the BUYER after delivery, products that are mixed with other products after delivery and cannot be separated due to their nature, Goods related to periodicals such as newspapers and magazines, except those provided under the subscription agreement, In the case of services rendered immediately or intangible goods delivered instantly to the consumer, audio or video recordings, books, digital content, software programs, data recording and data storage devices, computer consumables, if their packaging has been opened by the BUYER, it is not possible to return them in accordance with the Regulation. ir. In addition, before the expiry of the right of withdrawal, it is not possible to exercise the right of withdrawal regarding the services that have been started with the approval of the consumer, in accordance with the Regulation.

22. In order to return cosmetics and personal care products, underwear products, swimsuits, bikinis, books, copyable software and programs, DVD, VCD, CD and cassettes and stationery consumables (toner, cartridge, ribbon, etc.), unopened, untested packages can be returned. They must be intact and unused.

STATUS OF DEFAULT AND LEGAL CONSEQUENCES

23. The BUYER accepts, declares and undertakes that he will pay interest and be liable to the bank within the framework of the credit card agreement between the cardholder bank and the bank in case of default in the case of making the payment transactions with a credit card. In this case, the relevant bank may take legal action; may claim the costs and attorney's fees to arise from the BUYER, and in any case, if the BUYER defaults due to its debt, the BUYER accepts that he will pay the damage and loss suffered by the SELLER due to the delayed performance of the debt.

4.2 – The service(s) that is subject to this agreement should be delivered to the BUYER or the person/legal entity on the provided address within the time asset for each service in the preliminary information based on the distance of the BUYER’s current location, without exceeding the legal time limit of 30 days for any reason whatsoever. This period can be extended only for 10 days upon prior notice to the BUYER.

4.3 – If the service subject to the contract is to be delivered to another person/legal entity other than the BUYER,  Happy Tours Turkey  shall not be liable for the refusal of the delivery by the said person/legal entity, where applicable.

4.4 –  Happy Tours Turkey  shall be responsible for the delivery of the concerned service that carries the qualifications as set in the order in good condition and complete together with the guaranteed certificates and user guides if any.

4.5 – Upon delivery of the service, if the price of the service is not transferred to  Happy Tours Turkey  by the issuer bank or financial institution due to illegal use of the BUYER’s Credit Card by an unauthorized person without BUYER’s consent and fault, the BUYER shall be liable to return the delivered product to contact address(es) of  Happy Tours Turkey  within 3 days. In this case, the delivery cost shall belong to the BUYER.

4.6-  Happy Tours Turkey  shall notify the BUYER for any failure to deliver the service in question in the specified time due to force majeure, adverse weather conditions or transportation disruption etc. In this case, the BUYER shall be entitled to select one of the following options: cancellation of the order, replacement of the contract service with equal service and/or postponing the delivery time until the condition is eliminated. If the order is cancelled by the BUYER, the paid amount shall be reimbursed to the BUYER fully in cash within 3 days.

ARTICLE 5 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The BUYER shall be entitled to withdraw 24 hours (latest) before the delivery of the service (tours, trips, excursions etc.) subject to the contract to the BUYER or the person/legal entity at the provided address. To use the withdrawal right, the BUYER shall notify Happy Tours Turkey this period via fax, e-mail or phone. Also, the service shall be unused, in accordance with the provisions of the article. In case the BUYER uses this right, it is obligatory that the carrier’s delivery notice evidencing the service given to the third parties or the BUYER, as well as the original of the product invoice are sent to  Happy Tours Turkey  contact addresses. Within 7 days following the receipt of the said documents, the price of the service shall be reimbursed to the BUYER. If the original invoice has not been sent, VAT and other legal liabilities, if any, shall not be reimbursed to the BUYER. The return costs, if any, regarding the service subject to withdrawal shall belong to the BUYER.

The consumer can request the cancellation of the payment on the grounds that the credit card or payment card has been used by unauthorized persons, illegally and without his/her consent. In this case card issuer returns the payment to the consumer within 10 days following the notification of the objection.

Regarding the execution of this contract, the Consumer Courts located in the residential area of  Happy Tours Turkey  as well as the arbitration boards as announced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade are authorized.

Upon placing the order, the BUYER is deemed to have accepted all terms and conditions of this agreement.

Amazing time in Marmaris If you’re traveling to Marmaris, you should definitely visit Yagna Tour! There’s a guy there, named Brendan, who is an expert of great activity offers, speaks very good english and has a funny similarity with Leonardo Dicaprio. 🙂 Marmaris is an awesome place both for relaxing and having some joyful time doing all the exciting stuff the place could offer! Fantastic adventure

Absolutely worth the experience, our family had a great day out and had so much fun. A thoroughly fun day for all ages. Felt like naughty school kids on a bus! Although I would not advise this trip for small children, as the water fights can be too intense and the riding too tough. I wouldn’t take very small children as the seat belts aren’t designed for them. We purchased pictures and a video at our hotel’s reception.
