The vibration created by the kinetic resonance of the sonic network series occupies a sensory dimension, which exists between sound and vision.

I am give a visual expression to the physicality of sound . my concern is with the physical reaction the viewer has to my paintings. A perceptual and serialized  approach with conceptual and systematic underpinnings

For over 20 years artist John Aslanidis has defined a space between sound and vision, through seeking to create “paintings you can hear and sound you can see.” His paintings take the form of numerous interlocking and exponentially expanding concentric circles that are painstakingly mapped and masked out, and evolve from an intersection between music and painting.  

This stream of artistic interrogation has a historical lineage that stretches back to the beginning of the 20th century and the birth of international modernism, yet the musical genre that Aslanidis responds to is rooted in the electronic music movement that came to prominence in the 90's.

Creating paintings of vibrational vibrancy that actively engage with the science and perception of sound, his work reflects a confluence of visual and aural stimuli that also mirrors the phenomena of synesthesia, where the senses become blended.

Alanis Morissette Announces New 2021-2022 Dates For World Tour Celebrating 25 Years Of Jagged Little Pill

Today, seven-time GRAMMY® Award-winning singer/songwriter Alanis Morissette announced new tour dates for her 2021-2022 world tour to celebrate 25 years of  JAGGED LITTLE PILL .  The 35-date US tour will kick off August 12, 2021 in Austin, TX. Produced by Live Nation, the tour will hit cities like Dallas, Nashville and Denver before wrapping in Los Angeles, which by popular demand, will include a two night special at The Hollywood Bowl on October 5 th and 6 th .  

On this special anniversary tour, Alanis will perform her iconic album Jagged Little Pill in its entirety, as well as a variety of hits including tracks from her latest album, Such Pretty Forks in the Road. The tour has also added some new stops including, Kansas City, MO, Denver, CO, San Diego, CA and Las Vegas, NV. The tour will then travel to Europe stopping in various countries including Germany, Denmark, Netherlands, Hungary, Italy and Spain, before wrapping in the UK with 2 nights at the O2 Arena in London. The Australia, New Zealand and Philippines leg of the tour has been moved to November 2022.

She has contributed musically to theatrical releases and has acted on the big and small screen. Outside of entertainment, she is an avid supporter of female empowerment, as well as spiritual, psychological and physical wellness. In 2016, Alanis launched Conversation with Alanis Morissette, a monthly podcast that features conversations with a variety of revered authors, doctors, educators, and therapists, covering a wide range of psychosocial topics extending from spirituality to developmentalism to art. Dr jaimie aslanidis fracp – general paediatrician.

Dr Jaimie Aslanidis is a General Paediatrician who enjoys caring for all paediatric patients – from newborns to infants, to childhood and onto adolescence. Her philosophy is to provide family-centric, evidence-based, holistic care to children and their families. She finds it a privilege to work closely with families and young people as they grow and develop into young adults. Her pleasure is to help children achieve their full potential by optimising their overall health and wellbeing.

Dr Jaimie is currently a Consultant General Paediatrician and is a Visiting Medical Officer at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a member of the Australian Society of Developmental Paediatrics (ASDP).

Dr Jaimie completed her Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery at James Cook University specialising in tropical and rural medicine. She completed a Diploma in Child Health through The University of Sydney. She undertook her paediatric training through Sydney Children’s Hospital Network and has worked at both The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Sydney Children’s Hospital in general medicine. She undertook advanced training in genetic and metabolic medicine at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and completed the Harvard University coursework in genetics. She finished her general paediatric fellowship at Royal North Shore Hospital where she also worked in paediatric emergency medicine and the neonatal intensive care unit during her general paediatric training.

Her special interest areas include care of newborns and their families, premature infant growth and development, constipation, asthma, eczema, child development and complex medical care needs with a particular interest in genetics and metabolic medicine.
