Bryan Adams Sets 2024 Edition of ‘So Happy It Hurts’ Tour

Bryan Adams on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jan. 31, 2023

Bryan Adams has announced the 2024 edition of his “So Happy It Hurts” tour with special guest Dave Stewart’s Eurythmics Songbook . Produced by Live Nation, the run will hit 31 cities across North America this winter, beginning January 20 and concluding on March 20. Tickets for the general public will be available on Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. local time here .

The tour is named for the musician and singer-songwriter’s 15th studio album, So Happy It Hurts , released in 2022 via BMG. The title track was nominated for Best Rock Performance at the 2023 Grammy Awards. On Dec. 8, Adams will release  Live at the Royal Albert Hall featuring 35 songs on 3-CDs and 1-Blu-ray also via BMG.

Adams has released 17 studio albums and, with Jim Vallance, wrote the music and lyrics for Pretty Woman – The Musical . He earned a #1 album in the U.S. for 1984’s Reckless , which has sold an estimated 12 million copies worldwide. Among his huge singles are such classic rock favorites “Cuts Like a Knife,” “Heaven,” “Run to You,” and “Summer of ’69.” His songwriting has garnered him numerous awards and accolades including three Academy Award nominations, five Golden Globe nominations and a Grammy Award.

Bryan Adams Extends ‘So Happy It Hurts’ Tour With 2024 Dates

Tickets Available Starting Tuesday, November 14 at 10 AM Local with Artist Presale

General onsale begins friday, november 17 at 10 am local on bryanadams.com.

Today, famed musician and singer-songwriter Bryan Adams announced the extension of his highly successful So Happy It Hurts Tour with 29 dates slated for next year. Produced by Live Nation, the 2024 run kicks off on Saturday, January 20 in Billings, MT at First Interstate Arena at MetraPark, with stops across North America in San Jose, El Paso, Mexico City, Orlando, Pittsburgh, and more before wrapping up on Wednesday, March 20 in Syracuse, NY at Upstate Medical University Arena at The Oncenter War Memorial. Special guest Dave Stewart’s Eurythmics Songbook will join as support across the tour.

TICKETS: Tickets will be available starting with an Artist Presale beginning Tuesday, November 14 at 10 AM local time. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale beginning Friday, November 17 at 10 AM local time at bryanadams.com .

VIP: The tour will also offer a variety of different VIP packages and experiences for fans to take their concert experience to the next level. Additionally, Adams will release his new box set, LIVE AT THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL (BMG) , on December 8, 2023. Canadian icon Bryan Adams announced more shows last month for his So Happy It Hurts Tour . The “Summer of ’69” balladeer will be bringing his brand of heartland rock to stadiums, arenas, and amphitheaters around the world , extending the tour that saw Adams playing electric shows to sold-out crowds across the U.S. in 2023.

Famed musician and singer-songwriter Bryan Adams announced his 2023 So Happy It Hurts Tour with iconic group Joan Jett and the Blackhearts on last night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Produced by Live Nation, the notable run will hit 26 cities across the U.S. this summer, with stops in New York City, Boston, Tampa, Denver, Phoenix, San Francisco and more. The tour kicks off on Tuesday, June 6 in Baltimore at CFG Bank Arena and wraps on Thursday, August 3 in Seattle at Climate Pledge Arena. 

The upcoming tour is in support of Bryan Adams’ 15th studio album, “So Happy It Hurts,” which was released March 11, 2022 via BMG. “So Happy It Hurts” is also nominated for Best Rock Performance at the upcoming 2023 Grammy awards, taking place this Sunday, February 5.

After forming her band the Blackhearts in 1979, with whom Jett has become a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, she has had eight platinum and gold albums and nine Top 40 singles, including the classics "Bad Reputation," "I Love Rock 'N' Roll," "I Hate Myself For Loving You," and "Crimson and Clover." With a career that has spanned music, film, television, Broadway, and humanitarianism, Joan Jett remains a potent force and inspiration to generations of fans worldwide.

As a producer, she has overseen seminal albums by Bikini Kill, and the Germs' LA punk masterpiece ‘GI.’ Jett and co-founder Kenny Laguna (her longtime producer and music partner) founded Blackheart from the trunk of Kenny’s Cadillac after countless rejections from no less than 23 labels. 40 years later, Blackheart is a thriving entertainment company producing music, film and television, and continues to champion emerging bands. Joan Jett and the Blackhearts continue touring the globe with headlining shows alongside fellow rock legends like The Who, Green Day, Heart, and Foo Fighters. After two COVID-19 postponements, the group returned to the road during summer 2022 for The Stadium Tour with Def Leppard, Motley Crue and Poison. 'Bad Reputation,' a documentary about Jett's life, premiered to critical acclaim at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival and is now available for streaming.
