Vaquero/Voyager Aftermarket Radio Install

Thought I'd share a quick video I made showing how Installed an aftermarket Kenwood Media Reciever in my Vaquero. This is what worked for me, their are 2 different wiring diagrams I have both if anyone needs a copy I used the original one that calls for 5 resistors. By no means is this the easiest DIY but with a little patients and for about $60 more than the Kawi iPod connector you can have a lot more radio. Radio: Kenwood KMM B | eBay ... Hi Notmighty I just installed a new Kenwood Marine radio in my 1700ABS and want to do the same thing you did to get my thumb controls back. you said you have prints? can you post these? My concern is the programming of the METRA AXXESS ASWC-1 this is like your PAK. what I don't know is the use of the resisters. Thanks

Frame Sizes

• A UNIT: Fits most cruiser motorcycles
• B UNIT: Fits most touring motorcycles
• C UNIT: Fits most touring motorcycles
• D UNIT: Fits most cruiser motorcycles with a long rear fender or wheelbase
• A & D UNIT: 55″ outside fender width, 36″ inside fender width (‘D’ is 3″ longer than ‘A’)
• B & C UNIT: 60″ outside fender width, 41″ inside fender width (‘C’ is 3″ longer than ‘B’)
• CW UNIT: For specific motorcycles, 64″ outside fender width, 45″ inside fender width

The frame listed for each motorcycle is recommended. You may choose to use a wider frame than recommended but not a narrower frame. Motorcycles that have two frames sizes listed often depends on the width of the motorcycle tour bags.

†Stock motorcycle in good condition may have ground clearance lower than 3″ with main attachment brackets installed.

‡2015 and newer Harley-Davidson motorcycles may come stock with a Bank Angle Sensor (BAS). The BAS requires an extra part to counteract the way the sensor works when using the motorcycle with a stabilizer, such as a sidecar or trike kit.   Click here for more details .
