Cinema broke all previous records in the UK when, just one month after its release date, it made the UK Top 10. Andrea Bocelli is an Italian Tenor who I became a big fan of from 1999 after winning Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards. Sadly, he became blind aged 12 after a football was kicked at the back of his head during a game, causing a brain haemorrhage. Despite this life changing event, Andrea Bocelli went on to become now - the most gifted tenor in the world.

The first time I saw him live was at the BBC Proms in the Park in 2005 presented by Sir Terry Wogan. Now if you've never been to the Proms in Hyde Park, you need to imagine 60,000+ music fans waving their nations flags, eating picnics and drinking Pimms enjoying a great evening of music during British Summer Time. I was situated toward the back third of the park, so I could make out figures on the stage but not really faces. For the case of Andrea Bocelli that did not appear to matter.

As Andrea Bocelli took to the state singing "E lucevan le stelle"("And the stars were shining"), by Puccini the crowd were silenced in awe. His incredibly powerful voice penetrated the entire park, reverberating off Marble Arch and soaring down Edgeware Road into the many Lebanese restaurants and sheisha bars. The entire crowd including Sir Terry Wogan were completely blown away by his performance. I have not witnessed as voice as rich and powerful in my life and hope to one day, have this honour once more.

Andrea's concert in Zurich was really wonderful. I have seen him sing several times & I have to say this was one of the best experiences. Sometimes he looks very tired (not surprising considering his concert schedule) but on this occasion he seemed refreshed & sang superbly, a mixture of operatic arias & more popular songs from his CDs. The orchestra & chorus were first class. He thanked everyone for coming & was obviously pleased with the audience response which was a standing ovation. Bravo Andrea!!

The Concer was fenomenal, it was a sold out, and he was better than ever, it is like the time do not past throught him and he was grate with the public, at the end when he was leaving, he turn around three times, that meant he gave us three more songs and almost the four time but somebody over there got him. I myself will see him every time that he comes to Dallas. If I like it before now I am crazy about him,

I had the great honor of performing in the chorus when Andrea Bocelli came to the Amalie Arena in Tampa. His seemingly effortless performance is a testament to his dedication to his craft. It doesn't hurt that he is also blessed with a once-in-a-generation voice, which had many in tears by the time he hit the penultimate high note in "Nessun Dorma" for the final encore. All in all, a magnificent performer, and a total class act. I'll remember this concert for the rest of my life.

My husband and I saw Andrea Bocelli on Sunday, February 16. I saw him 2 years ago by myself. My husband never did. So this was his first time.

We were not disappointed. I love his music, my husband likes it. But he thoroughly enjoyed the genre!

It was a great nite out for us. We will definitely do this again when Andrea comes back to Charlotte.

With good sits and everybody in a good mood i think the Concert went very well. My self was hoping to hear some more of his more known songs. I really just know 3 of then well enough to sing a long in my head. But i went home happyer then when i left. So i guess you could say it was a susscee of a concert.

The dates follow Bocelli’s current extensive 21-city Believe North American Tour , which is his largest tour to date and features Bocelli alongside some of the top orchestras in the country. This tour also includes two upcoming nights at the landmark venue Madison Square Garden in New York City on December 15th and 16th. Tickets for Bocelli’s December 2022 dates go on sale to the public Monday, April 11 at 10 a.m. local time.

Today globally-renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli announced new US tour dates for December 2022. Andrea Bocelli In Concert includes eleven new show dates in major cities across the nation and for the first time at the new venue, UBS Arena at Belmont Park on December 13. Andrea Bocelli In Concert will feature performances from Bocelli's uplifting album Believe, a poignant and personal collection of songs, celebrating the power of music to soothe the soul, as well as a selection of arias, his beloved crossover hits, famed love songs, and music in honor of the Holiday Season.

UBS Arena at Belmont Park, located just 7 miles from JFK Airport on the border of Queens and Nassau County, is made for music and built for hockey. New York's newest premier entertainment and sports venue and home of the New York Islanders is developed in partnership with Oak View Group, the New York Islanders and Jeff Wilpon. Providing a significant boost to the regional economy, the world-class entertainment venue, with its timeless and classic design, bridges its iconic past with today's advanced technology and amenities.

The $1.1 billion multi-purpose, state of the art arena opened in November 2021 and has welcomed top artists including Harry Styles, Sebastian Maniscalco, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Genesis and TWICE. The venue will host more than 150 major events annually while delivering an unmatched live entertainment experience including clear sightlines and premier acoustics. Andrea Bocelli Announces Holiday US Tour in 2024

O ne of the world’s most beloved Italian tenors just announced that he will embark on a US tour this holiday season! This short but sweet December tour will span numerous US cities, including New York, Miami, San Diego, Los Angeles, and more. The Los Angeles concert will also mark the first time that Andrea Bocelli has ever performed at the Kia Forum. There will be no opening acts for this tour.

The Andrea Bocelli 2024 Holiday Tour will start on December 4 in San Diego, California at Pechanga Arena. The final date will be December 22 in Miami, Florida at Kaseya Arena.

Ticketmaster will be the main platform for the holiday tour dates. A number of different presale events will begin on April 9 at 10:00 am CDT, including fan club, Ticketmaster, Spotify, and Citi cardmember presales.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on April 16 at 10:00 am local. A lot of tickets are going to sell out during the presale events. The iconic award-winning Italian tenor, Andrea Bocelli , set the Golden 1 Center stage aglow last Friday evening in Sacramento, California. Accompanied by the Sacramento Philharmonic and Opera (Sacramento Philharmonic), he performed a variety of beloved favorites and new selections from his impressive repertoire.

Conducted by the internationally acclaimed Maestro, Steven Mercurio, the Sacramento Philharmonic opened the evening with the classic song “O Fortuna: Camina Burana” by Carl Orff. Performed with magnificent grandeur and brilliance, the highly skilled members of the orchestra and opera choir demanded the attention of the audience. The digital graphics displayed on the background jumbo screens painted a vibrantly fierce story. As the synchronized blazing amber and yellow lighting commenced until the echo of the final note, the enormous response from the crowd reverberated through the venue. In perfect tempo, the Sacramento Philharmonic performed an array of beloved compositions, including “Prologue” and “Harry’s Wondrous World” from John Williams’ 2001 album, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone . A true Felix Felicis moment, gilded in magical splendor.

As Andrea took centerstage, the venue was filled with the most overwhelmingly warm energy, a unique energy invoked by his emotive vocals. Awakening the souls of many through each crescendo and his astounding operatic range, he effortlessly performed his rendition of the famous 1851 “Rigoletta, Act III: La donna e mobile” by Giuseppe Verdi. Throughout the memorable evening, he welcomed various special guests and supporting artists to accompany him on stage, as well as perform their own personally curated selections. One artist being Grammy Award-winning mezzo-soprano, Isabel Leonard . She dazzled beneath the moody lighting in an emerald sequin gown, jading concert goers with her fiercely dynamic vocalization. Accompanied by the Sacramento Philharmonic, the venue was filled with enchantment.

Proving to be one of the most exceptional artists of our generation, Andrea astounded the audience with his popular song “Con te partiro” from his 1995 album Fly . An incredibly refined performance of considerable virtuosity, he sent a frisson like wave showering over all in attendance. Andrea Bocelli Announces November and December 2023 US Tour Dates

General On-Sale for All Shows Begins April 24

April 12, 2023 - Today Iconic Italian tenor  Andrea Bocelli  announced new US tour dates for November and December 2023. The new tour includes ten show dates in major cities across the nation, including San Antonio, Dallas, Louisville, Boston, Philadelphia, Hartford, Baltimore, with two nights in Hollywood, FL at Hard Rock Live, and a return to the iconic Madison Square Garden in NYC. This will be Bocelli’s first time in Louisville with the Louisville Orchestra and his first time performing in Hartford in 25 years. Then, Bocelli’s show in Baltimore will be included as part of the grand opening season for the new venue, CFG Bank Arena, and his first show in the city, performing with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.

Tickets for Bocelli’s November and December 2023 dates go on sale to the public Monday, April 24 at 10 a.m. local time. For all upcoming tour routing, please see dates listed below and visit  www.andreabocelli.com   for more info.

The tour will feature performances from Bocelli’s extensive repertoire, including music in honor of the Holiday Season, with selections from his recent #1 album  A Family Christmas , his uplifting solo album  Believe , as well as a selection of arias, his beloved crossover hits, and famed love songs.

Andrea’s US tours are sponsored by global investment firm Stifel. The Stifel pre-sale begins on April 17 at 10 a.m. local time, alongside a special early on-sale for Citi cardholders, with access to pre-sale tickets on Monday, April 17 at 10 a.m. local time at  www.citientertainment.com . Meanwhile, tickets for Bocelli’s upcoming 2023 spring and summer tour dates in North America and Europe are on sale now. The US dates include two nights in Los Angeles as Bocellli returns to the legendary Hollywood Bowl on May 9 and May 10. It’s becoming a Christmas tradition.

Every December since 2009, world famous tenor Andrea Bocelli goes on tour bringing holiday cheer to audiences all over North America.

This year, Bocelli will continue that yuletide trend once again when he performs 10 huge arena concerts all over North America from Nov. 29 through Dec. 17.

Per usual, he’ll stop into New York City’s Madison Square Garden for a huge show on Dec. 13.

Andrea Bocelli Celebrating Three Decades in Music with 3-Day Concert Event and Concert Film

"I want to thank everyone who helped my childhood dreams come true with an unforgettable concert," said the Grammy nominee

Andrea Bocelli is celebrating his 30 years in the music business. 

The singer is hosting Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration , a three-day event in his hometown of Lajatico, Italy, on July 15, 17 and 19.

The celebratory event will take place at Tuscany’s Teatro del Silenzio and will feature appearances and performances from several more superstars, such as Ed Sheeran , Shania Twain , Jon Batiste , Russell Crowe , Sofia Vergara , David Foster , Christian Nodal , Sofia Carson , Laura Pausini, Tiziano Ferro, Zucchero, Giorgia, as well as his children Matteo and Virginia . 

Additionally, classical musicians will perform alongside the 65-year-old singer, including Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, Lang Lang, Aida Garifullina, Bryn Terfel and Nadine Sierra. More names will be announced at a later date.

“As a child, I learned to dream about my future in the enchanted silence of these hills,” Bocelli shared in the press release. “Then life made that dream happen.” 

“Today, 30 years later, I can only imagine celebrating my career and my life, its strength, and its wondrous beauty here at Teatro del Silenzio, surrounded by such wonderful artists and friends. I want to thank everyone who helped my childhood dreams come true with an unforgettable concert.”

Along with the three day event, Bocelli’s concert will be documented into a concert film produced by Mercury Studios, Maverick, Impact Productions, and CITYSOUND & Events. Grammy-nominee and Emmy Award-winner Sam Wrench ( Taylor Swift - The Eras Tour ) will direct the upcoming production.

“You can’t get much more cinematic than Andrea Bocelli against the Tuscan landscape,” Wrench said in the press release. “I’m incredibly excited to bring this once in a lifetime concert to cinemas around the world with his unique voice, this world class team and enviable list of special guests.”
