The Ultimate Guide to Visiting the Arsenal Stadium Tours
Arsenal stadium tours ultimate guide.
From tours hosted by famous football legends to a self-guided audio tour so you can walk around Emirates Stadium at your own pace, it’s no secret why the Arsenal Stadium Tour has become such a popular tourist activity for sports fans in London.
The origins of the Arsenal Football Club can be traced all the way back to 1886, but throughout its history, the team has gone through many name and location changes. Arsenal FC only recently moved to the Emirates Stadium in Holloway in 2006, which was the same year the stadium was officially opened to the public.
The Emirates Stadium has 60,260 seats and cost a whopping £390 million to complete. The stadium is also home to the Arsenal Museum, which boasts two video theatres, and 20 massive displays centered around Arsenal FC’s history.
Arsenal Stadium Tours Highlights
There are three different Arsenal Stadium Tours to choose from which include:
- The Stadium Self-Guided Audio Tour – where visitors can walk around the Emirates Stadium at their own pace using audio-visual guide handsets. The guide is narrated by Arsenal legends Lee Dixon, Charlie George or Nigel Mitchell, and will lead you to the Directors’ Box, both the home and away changing rooms, the Players’ Tunnel, the Pitchside and much more. Also included in the tour is a set of branded Arsenal headphones and a tour certificate.
- The Legends Tour – which are led by former Arsenal players including Charlie George, Nigel Winterburn and Perry Groves. During the tour, the Legends will lead you around the Emirates Stadium, answer any of your questions about their time playing for the Arsenal Football Club, and even give their two cents about the current team.
- The Match Day Tour – where visitors can take a tour around Emirates Stadium hours before a match, which includes visits to the Directors Box, the Pitchside, the Home Dugout, the Diamond Club, the Press Conference Room, and much, much more. However, visitors will not be allowed to access either the home or away changing rooms or the Players’ Tunnel (for obvious reasons).

Report: Arsenal 2-2 Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich - Tue Apr 9 - 20:00
Goals in each half from Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard ensure we will go to Germany level pegging for the second leg next week.
We made the perfect start to our first Champions League quarter-final since 2010, when Bukayo Saka delightfully curled inside the far post.
But the German champions for each of the past 11 years came roaring back, taking advantage of a defensive mix up to level through Serge Gnabry before grabbing a half-time lead thanks Harry Kane’s penalty.
Second-half substitutes Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard combined for the Belgian to strike our equaliser with 15 minutes remaining, and we had a huge penalty shout turned down in the final minute of injury-time, but it’s still all to play for in Munich in eight days’ time.
Sublime Saka
Our house was turned red for the occasion – no away fans were permitted in the stadium – and the Emirates faithful created a crackling atmosphere at kick off.
The opening few minutes were cagey, tense and quiet until Saka injected some verve, winning possession high in Bayern territory. The ball was passed along to the edge of the area to Gabriel Martinelli – back in the starting line up – who flashed a shot wide of Manuel Neuer’s left-hand post.
Saka was then crunched into by left back Alphonso Davies, who picked up the game’s first booking – a card that rules the Canadian out of the second leg.
It was from the right hand side that we worked the opener. Saka and Kai Havertz won the ball back again with persistent pressing, before Ben White returned it to Saka inside the area. The winger showed great composure to measure his low left-footed shot just inside the far post to send Emirates Stadium into raptures.
Bayern turn it round
Within five minutes of Saka’s strike we passed up a huge chance to double our advantage. Havertz’s quick pass found White all alone in the area, with just Neuer to beat, but the defender blasted his shot straight at the grateful veteran keeper.
The miss was punished instantly. An uncharacteristically sloppy piece of defending ended with Gabriel’s loose pass being picked off in midfield, when David Raya had come racing out his goal. Leon Goretzka then played in the advancing Gnabry to slide in the equaliser.
The winger, who played 18 times for us a decade ago, had come back to haunt us, and pull the Germans level.
It soon got worse for us. On the half hour Leroy Sane burst free on the right flank, and made a beeline for the penalty area. Jorginho almost made the vital intervention, getting a toe to the ball, but Sane carried on before being brought down by William Saliba. Harry Kane stepped up and converted the penalty low to Raya’s left.
Ben’s brilliant block
The game had certainly opened up, but as we chased the equaliser, we left gaps at the back. Sane again sprinted forward, finding himself all alone in our half. As he bore down on goal he looked certain to score, only for White to deny him with a magnificently-timed block.
Mikel Arteta introduced Alex Zinchenko at half-time, looking to wrestle back some attacking impetus.
This was the first time we had trailed in any home game this year, and we took a while to regroup. Trossard and Gabriel Jesus were also introduced, but we were largely forced into shots from distance, with the visitors getting back in numbers, ready to pounce on the counter when wining the ball back.
Subs combine
Neither side had managed a shot on target in the second period though, until Jesus and Trossard combined superbly for the equaliser.
Declan Rice won a header and fed the ball to Jesus on the edge of the area. The Brazilian did brilliantly to control, hold the ball up the roll it into the path of Trossard, who made no mistake with a first-time finish.
The Emirates found its voice again, looking for a grandstand finish.
But it was the Germans who nearly nicked it, Kingsley Coman struck the post from close range, through Raya’s legs.
In the final minute of injury-time we were denied what looked to be a penalty, when Neuer brought down Saka in the area, but the referee blew up. It was a controversial ending to a dramatic encounter.
What’s next
The second leg takes place in Munich next Wednesday, April 17 – and a reminder that the away goals rule is no longer in place. So if we are level on aggregate after 90 minutes in Germany, there will be extra-time, then if needed penalties to decide who goes through to the last four to face either Real Madrid or Manchester City. But before all that, it’s full focus back on the Premier League, and a home match against Aston Villa this Sunday.

RZD Arena (Lokomotiv Stadium)
Club: FC Lokomotiv Moscow | Opening: 2002 | Capacity: 28,800 seats
History and description
RZD Arena, previously known as Lokomotiv Stadium, was built between 2000 and 2002, and opened on 5 July 2002 with a match between Lokomotiv and Ural.
The roof of the stadium is held up by four concrete pylons. The stadium holds 60 VIP boxes, each having between 10 and 20 seats.
Lokomotiv Stadium has been regularly used by other Russian sides needing a temporary home such as Anzhi in the Europa League and Spartak Moscow for the 2013-14 season while waiting for the completion of the Otkritie Arena .
In 2017, Lokomotiv Stadium changed name to RZD Arena following a naming rights sponsorship deal.
How to get to RZD Arena
RZD Arena is located in the north-east of the city of Moscow, between Moscow’s third ring road and the MKAD ring road at about 9 kilometres from Moscow’s city centre.

The Izmailovo complex offers different hotels with different prices, though in most cases very affordable. These include the Izmailovo Beta Hotel , Izmailovo Gamma Hotel , and Izmailovo Alpha Hotel . The Best Western Vega Hotel is another option.
Click here for all hotels near the RZD Arena, and here for an overview of hotels in central Moscow.

Arsenal issue fan threat over tickets passed on to banned Bayern Munich supporters
Arsenal will issue bans to supporters found to have sold their tickets to Bayern Munich fans for tomorrow’s Champions League showdown at Emirates Stadium .
UEFA have banned Bayern fans from attending the first leg of the quarter-final after fireworks were thrown onto the pitch during away games at Copenhagen and Lazio.
There are fears German fans could try to buy tickets in the home end, and Arsenal have taken steps to ensure there is no repeat of chaotic scenes in 2017, when thousands of Cologne supporters bought tickets for a Europa League game from club members and ticketing websites.
Violent pre-match disturbances that night delayed kick-off by an hour, and sizeable groups of Cologne fans clashed with stewards, the police and home supporters.
Following criticism they were ill-prepared for that game, Arsenal have not sold tickets to any new members who registered for the ticket ballot after March 11, before the draw was made. In addition, season-ticket holders have only been permitted to transfer tickets via the club’s ticket transfer service to a recipient whose account was created before that date.
Bayern have urged their fans not to travel to London. The Bundesliga giants have only been permitted around 200 tickets for a delegation of friends and family, while they will have around 20 senior club officials in the directors’ box.
In a message to supporters, Arsenal said: “There is additional risk associated with this game, because Bayern Munich are not permitted an away allocation. Any season-ticket holder or Arsenal member’s seat found to be in possession of an away fan will be suspended indefinitely.”
