The three cities form a rough triangle in northern India and incorporate many of the sites visitors most want to see. Delhi and its sister city New Delhi combine the modern capital with traditional Indian exoticism. Agra is home to one of the world's great icons, the Taj Mahal.  And Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan, is known as the Pink City for its distinctive pink- and red-tinged architecture. Along the route are forts, temples, and other sites. Though distances aren't great, a  road or train tour may take up to a week.

This National Park’s roads are superb, dipping and leaning around curves before straightening out as you dip down to 85m below sea level in the salt flats of Badwater. You’ll then climb to finish your drive by the snow-capped mountains of the Sierra Nevada. It’s one of the longer drives on this Golden Triangle tour, but it’s a drive you’ll never forget as the landscape is so very different from back home.

Do i need a covid-19 vaccine to join an intrepid trip.

Trips from 1 January 2023 onwards

From 1 January 2023, Intrepid will no longer require travellers to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 (excluding all Polar trips and select adventure cruises).

However, we continue to strongly recommend that all Intrepid travellers and leaders get vaccinated to protect themselves and others.

Specific proof of testing or vaccination may still be required by your destination or airline. Please ensure you check travel and entry requirements carefully.
