Does Bumble allow you to alter your location? The answer was no for a while, but not anymore! A crucial tool known as Passport that Tinder has had for years was absent from Bumble.

In the end, Bumble caught up and released a brand-new function called Bumble Travel mode that lets users modify their location to a region they are not currently in physically.

• First, go into the Settings on your Bumble app.

• You’ll see a “Travel To” button, which you should tap.
• Then, you can search for the City you want t move to, and Select it.

You’ll then be moved to that City for a 7-day period.

You can easily turn this Travel mode off from your Settings by going back into your Settings and selecting Current Location instead.

When you switch to a different city, Bumble will stop using your GPS location and automatically place you in the City center of your chosen city.

This can be one reason that Bumble shows location but not distance , as the other user may be using Travel Mode in another location that’s out of your range.

Is Bumble Travel mode free?

Bumble Travel mode is not free of charge, so free users won’t be able to make use of it.

This feature is part of a Bumble Premium subscription, meaning you can use it as much as you like if you sign up for Bumble Premium.

For casual users it may not be worth it. However if you’re planning a holiday, business trip or just change location often, it may be a good idea to test it out.

In Travel mode, you can change your location on Bumble as many times as you like, but you can only choose one location at a time.

For Android users, 5 Bumble coins will be deducted from the balance, and if you don’t have enough balance, you will be directed to the payment page. If you are an iOS user and Bumble premium user, travel mode will be automatically activated.
