Leon Vynehall Announces Fabric Presents Mix and Tour, Shares New Song: Listen

Leon Vynehall has announced his installment of the Fabric Presents mix series. It’s out March 25 via Fabric on 2xLP, CD, and digital platforms. It includes an introduction from Wesley Joseph and exclusives from Skee Mask, Or:la, Gaunt, Avon Blume, and Ehua. Listen to the new song “Sugar Slip (The Lick)” and find the full tracklist below, along with a new batch of tour dates. 

Vynehall remarked in a press release:

The output of Fabric’s label holds a special place for me. During my teens into early twenties the musical landscape I was exposed to broadened, and my taste diversified greatly; going to shows, making music, and swapping new finds with friends. Fabric had a huge part to play in shaping what I heard and was exposed to via their mix & compilation series. The first two I heard were Swayzak’s Fabric 11 , and James Murphy & Pat Mahoney’s FabricLive 36 . Both these CDs helped open the door to a wider palette of sounds. Not only did I delve deeper into the compilations post & prior, but I learned about what I enjoyed when it comes to DJing—dynamics. That was the aim of my entry into the fabric discography. A dynamic mix with a cohesive sonic narrative running through it with the club in mind. I feel incredibly lucky to be putting forward my take on something that helped to shape how I approach what I do when I DJ.

Vynehall will perform live, DJ, and curate a lineup at Fabric on April 8 to celebrate the mix’s release. His last album was 2021’s Rare, Forever .

Carin León Announces International Tour: ‘From Hermosillo to Paris’

Carin León will follow his history-making appearances at both Coachella and Stagecoach with a massive tour across the United States with stops in Europe later this year. On Thursday, the música Mexicana star announced the dates for his 2024 Boca Chueca Tour.

“Embarking on this tour is an exhilarating opportunity to share my new music with fans throughout North America and Europe alike,” he said in a press release. “Taking my songs and the vibrant essence of Música Mexicana to a global stage is truly an honor.”

After a performance at the Mid-State Fair in July, he’ll kick off his arena and amphitheater tour on Aug. 29 in Colorado, before making stops in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, and Nashville. He’ll also head overseas for shows in London, Madrid, and Paris.

It’s been an ultra-successful year for the musician, who’s successfully released crossover bilingual tracks in country and R&B over the last several months. Earlier this year, he worked with Keith Urban and Rosario on “Si Me Llevas Contigo,” worked with Kane Brown on “The One (Pero No Como Yo),” and dueted with Leon Bridges on “It Was Always You.”

Through his storied career in electronic music Leon Vynehall has always cleverly pushed things forward with one eye fixated on the past. A love letter to the early rave mixtape era, the album gives the feel of a scrawled-upon, well-loved, and endlessly rewound cassette. This anniversary edition on his own Studio Ooze imprint adds pageantry and fanfare for sure, but crucially retains the tape hiss and digital detritus so essential to its romantically ramshackle charm. Bonus of-the-era tracks ‘Palaces’ and ‘Blues’ only add to its legend, making this a must-have for all the maudlin house heads out there.

Música Mexicana artist Carin León has announced his international “Boca Chueca Tour,” slated for this fall. León will kickoff the trek later this year after making debut appearances at both Coachella and Stagecoach .

The “Boca Chueca Tour” will hit major cities across North America and Europe, including a night at Madison Square Garden in New York City, two nights at the United Center in Chicago, Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto, and BMO Stadium in Los Angeles.

Following the North American leg, León will venture into Europe with confirmed dates in Madrid, London, Amsterdam and Paris.

Ticket pre-sales begin April 30 at 10 a.m. local time and a limited number of VIP packages will also be available starting April 30. Tickets go on sale to the general public on May 3.

Carin León Announces 2024 Boca Chueca Tour – Here Are the Dates

After the biggest year of his career yet, Carin León is plotting his next U.S. tour. Today (April 25), the Mexican superstar announced the dates for his 2024 Boca Chueca Tour.

Not only has León helped música mexicana go global, but he has also pushed the genre to new places. On his Colmillo De Leche album, he blended influences of country, Americana, and blues into his songs. That fresh sound was best exemplified by his hit song “ Primera Cita .” León has since become the first música mexicana to perform at the Grand Ole Opry, one of the most important stages for country music artists. Now, this summer, he will embark on another major tour of the U.S. following last year’s Colmillo De Leche Tour .

León’s 2024 Boca Chueca Tour will kick off on July 22 at the Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles, CA. From that date until the end of October, he will perform concerts in arenas across the U.S. León will visit major cities like Los Angeles, CA; Las Vegas, NV; New York, NY; Houston, TX; and Nashville, TN. The stateside leg of his tour will wrap on Oct. 20 at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, FL. 

Pre-sale tickets for the 2024 Boca Chueca Tour will be available starting on Tuesday, April 30 at 10 a.m. local time. Those will include VIP opportunities, which include a meet-and-greet with León. Tickets to the general public will go on-sale Friday, May 3, at 10 a.m. local time.

León recently performed at both weekends of the Coachella music festival. This coming weekend, he will also make his debut at the Stagecoach music festival . 

Lainey Wilson, Tyler Childers, Joe Bonamassa Among Artists Set to Open for The Rolling Stones on New Tour

T he Rolling Stones recently revealed that blues-rocker Gary Clark Jr. will be opening for them at the first show of their impending 2024 tour this Sunday, April 28, at NRG Stadium in Houston. Now, the British rock legends have announced the acts that will be supporting them at nearly every other concert on the 19-date trek.

Among the artists joining Clark on the list of 2024 opening acts are country stars Lainey Wilson and Tyler Childers, acclaimed blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa, veteran soul singer Bettye Lavette, husband-and-wife Americana duo The War and Treaty, alt-rockers The Pretty Reckless, jam band Widespread Panic, teen female punk group The Linda Lindas, and rock ‘n’ blues act Ghost Hounds, and Icelandic blues-rockers KALEO.

Ghost Hounds, who supported The Stones at several other concerts in recent years, will open for them at three shows on the 2024 trek—on June 7 in Atlanta, June 15 in Cleveland, July 5 in Vancouver, Canada.

A support act has yet to be confirmed for only one show on the tour, a May 23 concert at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Wilson will be performing with The Stones on June 30 at Soldier Field in Chicago.

Details About The Rolling Stones’ 2024 Tour

As previously reported, The Rolling Stones will be supporting their 2023 studio album Hackney Diamonds , on the upcoming tour. Fans can expect to hear the band playing plenty of its classic hits, some fan-favorite deep cuts, and selections from the new album.

More About the Tour

The Stones’ 2024 North American tour features a total of 19 concerts, and is plotted out through a July 17 performance in Santa Clara, California.

The tour will include a May 2 concert at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. The band also will play multiple shows at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey; Soldier Field in Chicago; and SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

On June 24, Round Records & ATO Records will release GarciaLive Volume Six: July 5, 1973 – Jerry Garcia & Merl Saunders, the latest installment of the celebrated GarciaLive archival series. The three-CD set was recorded at the 200 capacity Lion’s Share club formerly located in the small town of San Anselmo, CA, just 20 miles north of San Francisco. The performance features Jerry Garcia performing with friend, mentor and legendary keyboardist/vocalist Merl Saunders. The duo is joined by drummer Bill Vitt and bassist John Kahn, who soon became a lifelong Garcia collaborator.
