School trips leave a great impact in the mind of the student, where he goes without his family, with his friends and colleagues, which allow him to rely on himself and take responsibility and enjoy the activities of the trip.
Each school planning for trips is as a recreational and educational way, supervised by social workers and school supervisors, who planning visits, ticketing, bus booking, etc.
I went on a school trip to (name of the city) of (Governorate name). of (city area in km) and (population number) approximately.
I prepared my small bag and put sandwiches, juice and water for the trip. I went to sleep early to wake up early to be full of energy on the journey.
We rode the bus in front of the school in the early morning and we left our parents and friends who did not come with us.
The bus driver displayed a documentary about the city we were going to visit and the tour supervisor told us about the directions and instructions we should follow and how to act in case of lost. He provided us emergency numbers and asked us to write them in a paper and keep in our pocket.
We arrived at our destination and started visiting the (museum name) which is a large museum featuring many important items that tell us the history of the city.
Then we went to visit the open museum which is an open area with many beautiful items.
Then we went to visit the important landmarks of the city.
The last stop of the trip was to visit the amusement park, a recreational city with lots of games.
The supervisor gave us two hours to enjoy our time, play the games we want and assemble before the door of the amusement park in preparation for riding the bus and back to our city.
We gathered two hours later in front of the amusement park door, the supervisor checked everyone’s presence and then we boarded the bus and returned to our city.
It was a beautiful day we enjoyed it a lot and we saw many of the city’s famous sights.
We learned a lot about its history and the history of its inhabitants.
Finally, we reached our city late at night. Our families were waiting for us.
We thanked the tour supervisor and went to our homes to sleep and prepare for school the next day.
a memorable school trip essay
It’s great to enjoy a little bit away from school and home for rejuvenation and energy, and this is exactly what happened. After working hard and excelling in school, I was able to go out on an unforgettable school trip. Through this trip, I was able to define my goals and benefit greatly from them.
This was an excursion to one of the seminars of the great Steve Jones. Just being in the midst of this huge crowd of scientists, inventors and businessmen made me know what I want to become in the future, and what are my upcoming priorities.
On this journey I was able to find answers to many of my questions and found the inspiration I wanted. Now I want to become in the future an inventor of something useful that benefits humanity and achieve great success for me, whether material or moral, through fame.
It is wonderful to know the importance of technology to society and how we inevitably go to it and the development of all means of services around us. And with just a little bit of clinging to the dream and fighting for it like Steve did, I can certainly succeed too.
simple essay on school trip
I feel very happy to go on a trip to the football stadium. This was a big surprise for us, to be able to watch an important match with friends.
Of course, I watched many matches with my family before, but this time the experience is different because it is with my friends and I was able to express and launch my enthusiasm, without feeling any pressure.
I enjoy this experience so much, and for sure I want to repeat this experience in other activities. Now I can’t wait to go home and tell my brother about this experience, and that in the future he should try going out with his friends on school trips and enjoying this holiday. It gives great psychological comfort and a boost of activity that helps to return to study with full vitality and activity.
essay on school trip to a park
Oh my gosh, I can’t describe the beauty of nature that I enjoyed during my last school trip. There is a very big difference between the constant presence between the big and fast industrial life and the relaxation in the vast gardens and parks that do not contain any noise.
It is great to go through this experience and go to one of the most beautiful parks that contain very beautiful gardening works and organized views of trees and roses.
The wonderful engineering work that I saw in the park is one of the best landscapes that my friends and I enjoyed watching.
And certainly immediately we felt the amount of interest and love from the people responsible for this place, and how they can preserve and show this place this beauty.
Of course I would love to go back on a school trip to the park and enjoy physical games with my friends like we did. This was one of the things I enjoyed in nature. It is great to find large green areas. This helped me relax a lot.
school tour experience essay
I would very much like to write an article about my experience in the last school tour, and point out the things I liked the most.
I find this tour very different from many of our previous tours. Previously, the tour was in only one place, and curiosity and enthusiasm ended before the tour ended.
But certainly this was different when we were able to visit many places in the same tour, such as the museum, the garden and the library. All of these places had a different effect.
We find when visiting the museum and meeting one of the guides working in the museum that he has that interesting and funny way of explaining the holdings. It makes you want to know more about its origin and the civilization it comes from.
But due to the lack of time, this made me even more excited, eager to listen. I am also eager to see another place and enjoy. This made it more beautiful and did not leave any way for boredom.
When visiting the library, I was able to sign one of the famous books and see some of the authors of these books. I always watched this event through movies only. It is great to try this experience and get some interesting and useful books.
But certainly nothing is so wonderful after a long day of listening and paying attention as visiting the park and walking around it to release all that energy.
I cannot describe the beauty of how I felt in the experience of the games and activities that we did inside the park. I can say this was the best school trip experience I’ve ever had.
a school field trip essay in English
One of the great school field trips I enjoyed was this trip, this weekend we were able to go on a school field trip to the zoo.
And there were a lot of interesting animals that wanted to feed and take pictures, many pictures with them. But of course, every field trip cannot pass without new experiences, some of which you will benefit from and others that delight you.
I can’t stop laughing whenever I remembered the monkeys, and how they used to behave, I can’t believe how smart this animal is, and how it can make you happy at any time. And also watching the peacock, what a beauty!, I did not feel the consistency and beauty of the colors, as I saw in this bird.
It was wonderful to learn some information about the habitat of many animals, which made me very eager to read about them, how they live and how important the group is to them, and how to unite among them, such as the blue whale and other collective animals that live in groups and like the wolf as well.
Certainly this field trip was very wonderful and contained a lot of information that I benefited from.

Short Essay on Educational Trip in 200-500 Words
Educational trips are an essential part of a student’s learning experience. These trips provide students with the opportunity to explore new places, cultures, and ideas outside of the classroom. They offer a hands-on learning experience that cannot be replicated in a traditional classroom setting.
One of the main benefits of educational trips is that they allow students to see real-world applications of the concepts they are learning in school. For example, a science class may visit a museum or a research facility to see how the concepts they have been studying are used in the real world. This can help students better understand and appreciate the relevance of what they are learning.
Educational trips also provide students with the chance to learn about different cultures and ways of life. By visiting new places, students can gain a better understanding of the world around them and develop a more global perspective. This can help students become more open-minded and tolerant individuals.
Furthermore, educational trips can help students develop important life skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork. By navigating new environments and situations, students learn how to adapt and think on their feet. They also have the opportunity to work together with their peers to overcome challenges and achieve common goals.
In addition to the academic and personal benefits, educational trips can also be a lot of fun for students. They provide a break from the routine of the classroom and allow students to explore and have new experiences. This can help students stay engaged and motivated in their studies.
However, organizing an educational trip can be a challenging task for teachers and school administrators. There are many logistical considerations to take into account, such as transportation, accommodations, and safety precautions. It is important to plan ahead and ensure that all necessary arrangements are made to ensure a smooth and successful trip.
In conclusion, educational trips are a valuable and enriching experience for students. They provide students with the opportunity to learn in a hands-on and real-world setting, develop important life skills, and gain a broader perspective on the world. While organizing these trips can be challenging, the benefits they offer to students make them well worth the effort.
Essay on Educational Trip in 1000-1500 Words
Educational trips are an integral part of a student’s learning experience. These trips provide students with the opportunity to learn outside the classroom, explore new environments, and gain practical knowledge that cannot be obtained through textbooks alone. Educational trips can take many forms, from visits to museums and historical sites to field trips to scientific research centers and nature reserves. Regardless of the destination, educational trips offer students a unique and enriching learning experience that can have a lasting impact on their academic and personal development.
One of the key benefits of educational trips is the opportunity for students to learn in a hands-on, experiential way. By visiting a museum, for example, students can see artifacts and exhibits up close, ask questions of knowledgeable guides, and engage with the material in a way that is not possible through reading a textbook or watching a video. This hands-on learning experience can help students to better understand and retain information, as well as develop critical thinking and analytical skills.
Educational trips also provide students with the opportunity to explore new environments and cultures. By visiting a historical site or cultural institution, students can gain a deeper understanding of the world around them and develop a greater appreciation for different perspectives and ways of life. This exposure to new ideas and experiences can broaden students’ horizons and help them to become more open-minded and tolerant individuals.
In addition to the academic benefits, educational trips can also have a positive impact on students’ personal development. By stepping outside of their comfort zones and experiencing new things, students can build confidence, independence, and resilience. They can also develop important life skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving, which will serve them well in their future academic and professional endeavors.
One of the most memorable educational trips I have been on was a visit to a marine research center. This trip took place during my high school years and was organized by my biology teacher as part of our unit on marine biology. The research center was located on the coast and was home to a variety of marine animals, including dolphins, sea turtles, and sharks. During our visit, we had the opportunity to tour the facilities, participate in hands-on activities, and even observe a live dolphin training session.
One of the highlights of the trip was a behind-the-scenes tour of the research center’s laboratories, where we learned about the center’s ongoing research projects and had the chance to speak with the scientists and researchers who worked there. We were able to see firsthand the equipment and techniques used in marine research, as well as learn about the center’s conservation efforts and the importance of protecting marine ecosystems. This experience gave us a real-world understanding of the concepts we had been studying in class and helped to bring the material to life in a way that was both engaging and informative.
Another memorable educational trip I went on was a visit to a historical site in my hometown. This trip was organized by my history teacher as part of our unit on local history and was designed to give us a firsthand look at the people and events that had shaped our community. The site we visited was a former plantation that had been converted into a museum, and during our visit, we had the opportunity to tour the grounds, view historical artifacts, and hear from local historians about the site’s significance.
One of the most impactful moments of the trip was a guided tour of the plantation’s slave quarters, where we learned about the harsh realities of slavery and the struggles faced by enslaved people in our community. This experience was eye-opening and emotional, and it helped us to better understand the complexities of our town’s history and the lasting impact of slavery on our society. It also sparked important discussions among our classmates about race, privilege, and social justice, and encouraged us to think critically about the ways in which history shapes our present and future.
Overall, both of these educational trips were incredibly valuable experiences that enriched my learning and personal growth in meaningful ways. They allowed me to see the world from new perspectives, learn in hands-on and experiential ways, and develop important skills and qualities that will serve me well in the future. I am grateful for the opportunity to have participated in these trips and believe that they have had a lasting impact on my education and my life as a whole.
In conclusion, educational trips are an important and valuable part of a student’s learning experience. They provide students with the opportunity to learn in hands-on, experiential ways, explore new environments and cultures, and develop important academic and personal skills. Whether visiting a museum, historical site, research center, or other educational destination, students can benefit greatly from the unique learning opportunities that educational trips offer. I encourage educators to continue to incorporate educational trips into their curriculum and to provide students with the opportunity to learn outside the classroom in meaningful and impactful ways.

The Anticipation
The announcement of the trip was met with an infectious enthusiasm that permeated the entire school. The museum was renowned for its vast collection of artifacts and exhibitions, providing us with an opportunity to witness history firsthand. The anticipation was heightened by the fact that this was not just a trip, but an immersive educational experience. We were not merely going to observe, but to engage, question, and learn.
The journey to the museum was filled with an air of excitement and camaraderie. The bus ride was far from mundane, as friends shared stories, jokes, and anticipation about the day ahead. The journey, although a small part of the trip, was instrumental in setting the tone for the day. It was a testament to the fact that sometimes, it’s not just about the destination, but also about the journey.
The Museum Experience
Upon arrival, we were greeted by the grandeur of the museum, a magnificent structure housing centuries of history. The museum was a labyrinth of knowledge, each exhibit telling a story more intriguing than the last. From ancient civilizations to significant historical events, the museum was a treasure trove of learning.
One exhibit that particularly stood out was a detailed representation of the Industrial Revolution. It was not just the artifacts that were fascinating, but the way they were presented. The exhibit was interactive, allowing us to engage with the material in a way that textbooks never could.
The trip was not just about the museum and its exhibits. It was about experiencing history, understanding its relevance, and appreciating its impact on our present. The trip provided a platform for us to engage in meaningful discussions, fostering critical thinking and broadening our perspectives.
In conclusion, the memorable school trip to the museum was an enriching experience that transcended the boundaries of traditional classroom learning. A trip i went essay in english for students 150 words.
During the last school vacation, I went on a pilgrimage to Kandy, Anuradhapura and some of the ancient cities with my school mates and teachers. On the first day, we went to Kandy to see and worship the Temple of the Tooth Relic, Devadas and Shrines. There we lit Joss sticks, poured coconut oil in to the oil lamps, offered flowers and worshipped. Then we watched the Thevawa Ceremony and listen to an Anusasana delivered by a member of the Sangha. After around 1 p.m. we had our lunch. And walked towards the lake. We had a quiet evening. We spent that night in the pilgrims rest.
On the second day we reached Anuradhapura. First, we worshipped the sacred "Bo Tree" Jaya Sri Maha Bodhiya. Then we went to see the Ruwanvaliya, the Maha Stupa. On the way we saw a lot of sacred places and were fortunate to visit and worship eight other places called Atamasthana. Thereafter we went to Polonnaruwa. On our way we visited Dambulla where we saw the beautiful Rock Temple, Dambulla Viharaya.
Afterwards we went to Sigiriya. When we climbed up the stairs to Sigiriya, we saw the world-famous wonderful entrance which is called the " lion's mouth " which had been made in that shape.
In Polonnaruwa we visited many sacred places. We saw many large tanks which were built by ancient kings. We spent that night in an inn at Polonnaruwa.
The following day we come to Badulla. We saw the glamorous Dunhinda waterfall. After seeing the waterfall, we came to Muththiyangana Mahaviharaya. At least we came to Colombo at 7.30 p.m.
We were so happy and I will never forget our pilgrimage. If I get another chance to visit those places, I will never miss it.

‘When I was in Class 5, we went on a school trip to Rishikesh, the famous hill station. My mother packed all my important things and told me to follow everything my teacher told me. It was a 3-day trip, where we had a lot of fun, ate delicious food, played games on the riverside, did rafting, bonfire and jungle-adventure.
We visited the hotel in the early morning and were served with delicious breakfast. After breakfast, we visited the famous Lakshman Jhula, located on the Ganges River. This Jhula is used by pedestrians to cross the river and visit the other side of the city.
The next thing we did was rafting. There were rafting boats, and we were provided with life jackets, helmets, and wetsuits. We were given clear instructions not directly to jump into the river and stay in the boat. It was really fun and a completely different experience for me.
Then we had our lunch and sat down near the river, where we talked with locals. We learned about the history of this beautiful city. Our guide took us to the nearby waterfall, where we played water sports and enjoyed a lot.
Lastly, we all sat in a circle around a bonfire and listened to the beautiful stories from our teachers and guides.
While we were packing our stuff and leaving the hotel, we were offered souvenirs and holy prasad by the hotel staff. This trip was full of adventure, spirituality, and beautiful moments with my friends.’

We traveled by train, where we enjoyed the winding green valleys and beautiful waterfall. Firstly, we explored the Mughal Gardens. There were terraces arranged near the water channel, fountains lined, and various types of flowers and trees planted.
We explored the famous Dal Lake, which is a natural wetland with floating gardens. My father rented a houseboat, locally known as ‘Shikhara’ where we had our lunch and enjoyed the boating experience. It was like a fairy world, where everything was calm as a bright blue sky.
Our next destination was Gurmarg, which is famous for its snow-covered landscapes. The scenic beauty of the Himalayan Mountains in the backdrop was like an additional adventure to our trip. Me and my brother enjoyed Skiing at the Apharwat Peak. My father is a golf fan, so he played golf at the Gulmarg Golf Course, close to our hotel.
After skiing, we were so hungry that my brother and I ate a hearty meal to recover our exhausted energy. We were so exhausted that we slept for 4 hours. When we woke up, we witnessed snow for the first time. We made a snowman and played Tic-Tac-Toe using sticks.
‘My trip to Kashmir was a life-changing experience, and I wish I could travel there again to relive those cherished memories once more.’

Our class trip to Anuradhapura
Our class trip to Anuradhapura was a fantastic experience. We started at 5.15 in the morning, the teachers organized groups and classes.
The trip started as we filled into our buses, waving goodbye to our parents and finally we were off. It was very interesting to see Kandy in the darkness. Lamp posts were turned on and as we continued the sun rose and we saw more of the city.
We went on and on and on. I suddenly saw a clearing and it was a beautiful paddy field with cows, farmers, huts and close to it was a mountain with statues of priests going up to it. Then finally the teachers told us it was time to eat.
We had our breakfast and then my friend Adeesha said he wanted to sit by the window until we reached the Matale Aluviharaya. Of course, I did not agree with him and after that he got sad and I let him sit by the window. He gave me a jujube for letting him sit there.
Finally, we arrived and found ourselves at the Aluviharaya. First we had a look around in the temple. There were artefacts of Lord Buddha. Then we went to the Balum Geya which is a place to look at the consequences of hell. After that horrifying experience we went up to a high place which had a little stupa in the middle. We could see the golden temple from there and a humongous rock.
After getting down from the rock, we went into a building and inside there was a priest. He showed us how complicated it is to write on a palm leaf and how extremely hard it is to make palm paper. Then we got into our bus and headed to Anuradhapura which was a long way from Matale, but we went on and we were eating our snacks and talking and having fun.
Finally after hours of travelling in the heat we made it to Anuradhapura.
Our first stop was Ruwanweli Maha Saya. It was an extremely large stupa and one of the world’s largest structures made with bricks. At the top of it there was a huge gem and I did not think it was so big at the first glance because it was so high, but then I saw a close up picture of it I could not believe my eyes as to how massive the gem is.
After that we went to the beautiful twin ponds also known as Kuttam Pokuna. It was a very deep pond according to the teacher’s description. Then we went off to have lunch. After lunch we saw the huge moonstone which I admired very much for its size and beauty.
Then, in a hurry to get to school we quickly went around Jetavanaramaya (a huge stupa just like Ruwanweli Maha Saya.) Once again I admired its beauty and size. Then we quickly rushed to our buses and headed home.
When we came to school our parents were waiting for us so I thanked the teacher and went home.

School Trip Experience Analysis
I have been to Singapore for the high school trip. During the school trip, we went to a night safari. We had dinner and saw animals from the tram. After having dinner, we saw animals. When we moved to the tram stop, my friend Nana and I were talking girls talk, and decided to slowly walk to the end of our class line. We talked in earnest what should Nana does to take picture with my friend who Nana likes. He was different class. We were class 2, but he was class 8 so we didn’t see him and move together. We thought it is chance for Nana to take picture with him before getting on the tram when we wait on line. But suddenly we left our class because a Chinese group cut into our line. We lost sight of them and struggled to catch up with our classmates but we push our way through the …show more content…
We rode next to him and said "safe". However, other classmates were seated in front of mine, then realized that it was not our class bus! We saw our classmates cross the street from the tram stop to tram. My home room teacher was a free spirit, so he arrived on tram stop without our classmates. Not withstanding, the safari park staff fastened the safety chains around the seating area of the tram. Since we could not get off the tram and get on our class tram, we unfortunately toured around the park with another class. We were surprised not only other class tram but the class was my friend’s class who Nana likes! After knowing it, she became happy next to me. We enjoyed spending our school trip, but it was time to go back to Japan. We had to go to airport. We took a lot of pictures on the bus which go to airport and while shopping at duty free shop in airport. I enjoyed taking pictures with my friends, teachers and ornaments about an hour. We had hard schedule for five nights three days and our flight was late night, so I was very tired. At the moment when I have gotten on a plane, I fall asleep.

Personal Narrative: A Trip To Puerto Fiasco
This summer, my church took a missions trip to Puerto Penasco. It wasn 't the easiest trip to plan, seeing we only had two months to plan for it, and pay for it. What Is My School Trip Essay
Every day, every moment, there are events and choices we make that shape who we are. We have a collection of experiences each day, some just pass over our head, unnoticed, and some hit us right in the face, changing our life forever. Since I am just a graduating senior, someone might say I have my entire life ahead of me, with many more significant experiences yet to come. But despite being so young, I already have a personal breathtaking experience, which I am sure I will carry with me until my last days: my school trip to Spain and Italy . Ever since I was a child, I dreamed about traveling the world, I dreamed of skiing in Switzerland, swimming in the Mediterranean Sea , and hiking down the Grand Canyon. As I got older, I knew there had …show more content…
I had to step out of my comfort zone many times during this trip, I had to try new foods that were unfamiliar to me, and get to know people in a different setting that I was not used to. The bonds I made with the students and teachers that also went are irreplaceable. We acquired a group of knowledge that no one will receive unless they have done the same. Some people may not enjoy traveling because it means leaving behind what’s comfortable for them, whether it’s their group of friends, their air-conditioned homes, their favorite foods, pets, family, the list goes on. Just getting on a plane and going is the first step. It is exhilarating to forget what is familiar for a bit and expand your horizons. Once you do, there is no better feeling than taking on unfamiliar territory and making it familiar. I am enthusiastic for college because I think it will be much like my travel experience to Italy and Spain. I believe college will make me step out of my comfort zone and test my limits much like I was in these unfamiliar places. Pushing myself to do things that are not exactly comfortable but I know will be better for me in the long run is one of my priorities. Being in college at first will be different and unfamiliar but I know that once I settle in and make the bonds with the people around me who are going

College Admissions Essay: A Career As A Music Engineer
There is not a day that passes where i don't look forward to the experiences, and opportunities that going to college will bring me. I am immensely ambitious, and driven to better myself and make a respected profession out of my passion.
Unfortunately I see this conversation ending with Celeste and Jim both very upset and no solutions to the conflict being discussed. It seems that at the end of this scenario the conflict was beginning to spiral out of control, and communication was shutting down. It will end with Celeste and Jim blowing up at each other and not being willing to understand the others perspective about the situation. They will not talk for a while after this happens and Jim will hire Nikki as he intended to from the beginning. As a negative end to this conflict I see Jim and Celeste looking back over the conflict still trying to defend their position (retrospective goals).
Mission Trip Essay
Bam! It hit me like a speeding truck. Two weeks in Cuzco, Peru had shown me what it is really like to be struggling in all areas in life. This specific mission trip showed me outside our borders there are people in need of basic necessities in life. I spent the better of two weeks learning about myself and the people I was determined to help. Teaching has always been a part of my life, however, after these two weeks, I learned that teaching is exactly what I want to do with my career. The students I was able to work with had not had a proper education, and my teaching them put them that much farther into a life they hadn't imagined ever having. The compassion and empathy I felt in my heart for my students had shown me that teaching is the right

Speech to Persuade for Travel Essay
Imagine getting away from the monotony of your everyday life. You can lie on the beach sipping a cool drink miles away from your worries of getting a paper done or helping a customer at work. You can be on top of a mountain overlooking beautiful lands that are different from your own backyard. Half of the class has taken a vacation less than five times in their lifetimes, but let’s face that most of those probably included those little family vacations to Disneyland. But, all of you said that you planned to travel someday. So, why not do it sooner than later? One of the reasons for not traveling that many of you put is not having time because of school or work. Also, one of your major concerns is
Essay On Mission Trip
One of my favorite things last year was having the privilege to help with a VBS for a week in Rock Hill, South Carolina. That trip opened my eyes to a whole new experience. I realized that not only when I helped strengthen the kids faith, that my faith also started to get stronger. Helping people’s faith grow creates a feeling inside that makes you want to do it more often. Having this opportunity to travel to Montana or even Idaho/Washington would be something I would strive to get on no matter what it would take.
Not many people get excited when they talk about Chisinau, Moldova, but I do! God sent me to Moldova for five days, June fifth through twelfth, for my first mission trip out of the United States. The goal of my mission trip was to teach English to kids with a church called Meteora in Chisinau, love on kids, and get to know the city and culture of Moldova. It was our goal in Moldova to be God’s hands and feet.

How will college change my life
College is a chance to be free and is a bridge between the real world and school. I’m an adult and expected to behave as such; I make my own choices where I have to decide what is important to me. Persuasive Essay On Why Everyone Should Travel
While vacation may seem like a week away from home, traveling has so many positive aspects. Whether one travels for a few days, or for a year, it can open the eyes of many people and change their views. While on the road, people often discover who they really are and create relationships with people they will never forget. During this adventure, people learn new languages, and connect with the world in a new way. Traveling is beneficial to both a persons mental and physical health; it makes the mind more creative, and it's a great way to exercise .
Planning Your Perfect Vacation Essay
After you choose your destination the next thing you must do is reserve your airfare and hotel. This may be tough because there are many websites and travel agents that you can go through. I have found that it is cheaper and easier to go through Expedia.com. You can book your hotel and flight all together and pay one low price. I have also found that flying with Southwest Airlines is very cheap and they have many one way stops all across the country and for a cheap hotel that is very nice I recommend the Extended Stay America.

Personal narrative: horsetail falls el dorado county.
The mountains were stone dark, secured with trees whose hues were a blend of woodsy cocoa, knoll, key lime, and margarita green. Scattered powder-puff mists gradually fled over the sky and the sun feed like a bolt. Seeing this made me feel like I inadvertently touched base to paradise. I breath gradually, attempting to recall each snapshot of me being encompassed by woodland, sky, and mountains. We began climbing the gigantic mountain, talking, grinning and chuckling together. After like an hour we sat down for a moment on an immense uneven and dusty rock close to the waterfall. The wind that blew through the trees into our confronts now conveyed a light sprinkle from the waterfall, and a clue of peace. The sound of the wind shrieking, the waterfall smashing against the stones and the fowls singing their wonderful tunes, made me feel considerably more joyful than I was at that point. We began moving to the top once more. My legs began to hurt yet I didn't give an indication of my torment. I raised my eyes to the sky, and my sight fell on the hawk who skimmed over the wind. At that time, I craved flying as well, over the mountains and over the oceans. I strolled slower now, thinking how brilliant it would be to fly, and the greater part of the…
Happiness Can Be Found in Unlikely Places
One morning, we decided to go out with some of the guests from the hostel for a hike along the hills by the seashore. These hills were covered in thick blades of grass but had rock faces that were pointed out towards the water. If you looked to your left you’d see these hills go for miles; mound after mound, circular shaped huts with cone shaped roofs sitting on top. African trees as well, looking as if the wind was blowing all the branches to one side of the trunk but they stood absolutely still; frozen in time. To your right you’d see the ocean go out for as far as you can see, while standing on a cliff with an almost vertical drop. From looking at the cliffs from the sides, it showed the many trails descending down the cliffs made by mountain goats and every once and a while you could see one half way down; climbing up. Although our surroundings were incredible, the heat was as well. We went through several bottles of water through-out the hike. Our leader, an African local, lead us down one of the more climbable hills to the ocean floor where it was covered in rock. With the sun beating down on us we felt trapped because we couldn’t swim in the water, the waves were too strong we’d be thrown up against the rocks.…

My Hero's Journey-Personal Narrative
It was full of life and flowers and bright. I thought that it would be gloomier. I was okay with it. It made me more happy and it made me feel lifted up. I also realized something. All of a sudden I could hear again. I had no idea why. I thought something was going on here, but I didn't know what. As the other people got off the flight, I followed them. I assumed they were going to look at Stonehenge too. It was a long and strenuous hike. Walking over tons of hills and in between trees. A little bit later all of a sudden there was a wide open grassland. It was something I had never seen before. The rolling hills were covered with green grass that went on for miles. It was beautiful. I was in shock. The small hills were filled with herds of sheep and a few cows scattered here and there. Long in the distance between two hills I saw stones. Although they looked small from far away, I knew they weren't. Everyone gathered their stuff and headed over. Every step of the way I became more excited.…

I turned around and found myself in mystical garden. (2) Everything was mysterious. The garden was full of greens, yellows, oranges, all kind of vibrant colors; it did not only have colors, it had all types of exotic birds. I was sixteen or seventeen years old at that time, and had a long white dress on; I was barefoot. Nevertheless, you could not tell because the dress covered my feet, I had my hair down and some of it covered part of my face. I was standing in the entrance of the garden, and all I could hear were birds chirping, some of the birds where in cages. As soon as I walked in, birds started appearing from all around the garden; this was a wonderful place I had never seen…

A home is a place where people are free to be with their family and have free time. Not everyone is the world has a home to go after work or school. School Vilonce
From decade to decade, there has been a new type of fad to sweep the country. In the 50’s it was dancing and having fun. In the 60’s it was to dress freely and avoid the draft. The 70’s were full of pot smoking has-beens, the 80’s big hair and radical clothing. From the smallest of fades, the children in the 90’s have taken a whole new approach to the game. The changed the rules, that would affect the country for the rest of their existence. The fad? To act out in violence in school against eachother, not just fist to fist physical altercation, but from one boy’s fathers gun to another. The new fad is to take a school by a surprise attack and make news headlines. Quite a change from the early 50’s. So the question that boggles ever Americans mind, is why and how we allowed these children to invade and inhabit our lives and allow them to take the control they have at this point. The question can only be answered by figuring out the exact problem to a “T”. We need to figure out every aspect of what they are doing. What are the exact statistics on the teen crime rate? How can we stop it? Let’s start by recognizing the problem and deal with it from there.…

Honestly, I had a hard time thinking what would be the current researches that were present in the institutions which could be done in Ateneo de Naga because with the new technologies that the institutions and the universities are using in which our school doesn’t have yet. Like for instance in the International Rice Research Institute, their current research is to come up with a new breed of rice in which could resist disasters such as flood and typhoons. With, the status of our school and our place here in Camarines Sur, we do not have the appropriate place and weather to conduct a similar research. With regards with the National Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (BIOTECH), the institutions presented an overview of their researchers but not in a detailed way due to time constraints. Included of their researchers were the Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic Fertilizers, researches on bacteria (microbiology) like the Water Testing, and many more. But, they weren’t able to discuss it further and in detail thus I wonder how they were able to conduct their researches. They were just able to roam us around in their laboratories, and we have witnessed their gadgets and most of it was new to my eyes. New technologies were also my concerns in St. Luke’s Medical Center. I was awed by the gadgets, especially on the Electron Microscope, I had lot of new lessons and I have fed my eyes and mind by those.…

Dream world
I stood there mesmerised by the sight in front of me. It was peaceful, calm; it was nature before human kind, soft light, green grass almost touching my bare ankles, it was slightly wet and cold but comforting, thin streaks tickling my bare feet as I moved around slowly. Small Daisies blooming standing out of the greenery with they’re fragile white bodies. My breath was taken away instantly when I landed my eyes on a beautiful lake; its clear water being disturbed by a tiny wind and my touch, its warm soft substance wetting my palm lightly, the sparks that hovered above the lake illuminating it; in the centre of a lake a reflection of the moon but not just any moon… the red moon. A round the edges the lake reflected like a mirror- cherry blossom trees at the full bloom and the perfect sweet sense that surrounded the atmosphere its silky pink leafs scattering around the place like a soft pink blanket, the trees’ hard textured bark covering soft wood that is inside. The Cherry trees surrounding the lake like hiding it in protective manner which made me wonder in an awe.…

Essay on My School Picnic – Essay 1 (200 words)
It was the first day in school after first term examination when school picnic for this year was announced in the class. Everyone has been excited since then. This year’s picnic was destined to be at Vananchal resort which is located in the forest of Jambughoda. Luckily for me and my group permission of our parents has never been a problem, so we were set to go since the day of announcement.
It was a cold winter morning, the school bus departed at sharp seven in the morning. Almost two hour long route to the resort felt like a matter of few minutes as we played fun games with fellow classmates. We reported to the resort at around 9, we were all provided welcome drinks. Then we left for nature walk where we saw varied types of trees and birds. After the nature walk it was time for the most exciting part of the picnic.
Yes! It was pool time which unfortunately couldn’t last whole day. That’s the thing about pool, no matter how long you get to be in it, it’s never enough. Then we had lunch, followed by some fun activities such as rappelling and zip-line which too was fun. The time passed so soon that we couldn’t even realize the day was over. Essay on School Picnic to Water Park – Essay 2 (300 words)
Introduction
“Picnic”, a day every student in the school is eagerly awaits the whole year. This year’s school picnic was to be held at Splash Water Park which was at three hour’s drive from our school. Everyone from my class was showing up for the picnic expect for one of my friend Kashyap who unfortunately was out of station on the day of picnic to attend some family function.
School Picnic to Water Park
On the day of the picnic unlike every other day we reported to the school earlier than our regular timings, due to excitement, obviously! Our class was divided into four groups of ten students each. Each group had one leader to watch upon the respective team members. I was the captain of our group.
We reached the destination at 10am and were given half an hour to collect our swim suits take a shower and get ready for the real fun. Water Park was full of amazing water rides namely Demon’s hole, lazy river, Amazonia, free fall, loop hole, etc. Demon’s hole and Amazonia were my favourite. Demon’s hole was a dark cylindrical water slide with utterly thrilling twists and turns and Amazonia was a super large water slide which took us through an artificially created jungle, which gave a feel of passing through the streams in Amazon rain forests.
In lunch, we were served lip-smacking Punjabi food with gulab jamuns in dessert. Then, there was a wave pool, besides which there was a beautiful artificial waterfall. We checked out from the park at 5pm in the evening and returned to our school at around eight.
I remember almost nothing from the return journey as we were all tired till the end of the day. Our legs were paining as they had exercised hard while climbing those steps for the slides, and thus out of exhaustion almost everyone was asleep in the bus while returning. It was a day well spent.
Essay on School Picnic to Amusement Park – Essay 3 (400 words)
Amusement park have always been my favourite destination for a day out. To my delight this year’s school picnic was destined to Essel world. This picnic meant a lot as it was our tenth standard and maybe was the last year together in school. Next year I and my friends will be in different streams. We had every hope to make this one memorable so that we bid goodbye having loads of happy memories.
School Picnic to Amusement Park
Sleepless night has always been a pre-picnic symptom for me. I could never sleep until late at night before picnic out of thoughts of how amazing the following day would be. The way from school to the amusement park was quite a long one during which we played dumb charades and truth and dare to kill time.
We were dropped at a place via bus from which we had to check in a boat to further reach the amusement park. From the boat we could see a ride called Shot-N-Drop. We could hear the shouts of people enjoying the ride and could feel the thrill from the boat itself. It was our day today, maybe the last one with our people, and we had to make the most out of it. So, without even wasting a minute we rushed into the park to gain the most out of it.
Today, I don’t remember every ride we had been on, but I still remember the butterflies in my stomach when a ride named thunder swung us all from one side to the other, those moments of thrill and fear when Shot-N-Drop had us on free fall, those goose bumps when Top-Spin whirled us round, those stupid laughs when our dashing cars dashed into others, that joy of finally making out of Alibaba’s mirror maze and that tingling moment when Aqua-dive splash splashed upon us the droplets of cold water.
The happiness that we gained in the most simple things in life, bursting into laughter after playing pranks on our fellow classmates and that momentary anger of the one who had been pranked, those tired yet smiling faces at the end of the day and many more tingling moments are the memories to cherish forever.
Memories of this day will always hold a cosy corner in my and all our hearts. Somewhere I still wish if I could go back to this day again and feel that same thing with those same people all over again.
Essay on School Picnic to Zoo – Essay 4 (500 words)
I was in standard 3 rd when my school had arranged a picnic to Kamla Nehru zoo situated besides Kankaria Lake, Ahmedabad. Being a kid, I was extremely excited for the picnic. A day before picnic I went to the nearby shop with my father to buy some snacks for the picnic. I bought a packet of chips, cookies, soya sticks and few packets of chewing gum.
My School Picnic to Zoo
This was probably the only day in the whole year when I would pack my things up the previous night, obviously because I didn’t want to get late on the picnic day. After making my things ready I made a conference call with my friends. We discussed about how excited we all were for our picnic. We fixed the time we were going to catch up the next day.
I was up before the alarm despite not being able to sleep until late at night. I got to school at around 7am in the morning, half an hour prior to the reporting time. We had to be in pair on this day, which was decided on the basis of roll numbers, luckily for me I partnered up with Manan whose number was right next to me. Singing, dancing, playing we travelled the road till the destination. We were served ice-cream as soon as we got there. We were all excited to step in the zoo.
First of all we had to enter the bird section where we saw a number of varied and beautiful birds. Toucan, a black and yellow coloured bird with a large beak, kingfisher a little bird with most vivid colours, Hornbill a beautiful bird with a horn like thing on its head and albatross a fine white and black coloured with aquatic habitat were some of the birds we saw. We also saw deer, hippopotamus, fox, wolf, alligator, crocodile, wild ass, yellow python snake, bear and many more. But our favourite ones were still left, where we had to visit after the lunch.
Finally, after the lunch it was the time for which we were all so excited about – to see the fastest animal cheetah, the national animal tiger and of course the king of the jungle, lion. We also saw jaguar and leopard. We were done with the zoo at around 3 in the afternoon, and we had time until 5 pm so the teachers decided to take us all to have a look around at Kankaria Lake. It was a beautiful place.
We sat on a mini toy train there which took us on a ride around the lake. After everyone completed the ride, it was almost 5 which was the time to leave for home. Teachers started counting the number of students, which brought them to the conclusion that one kid from our class has been missing. The teachers panicked however they were finally able to find Hussain, the lost one after 10 minutes of search operation.
Today, it might be a mere picnic to a zoo, but when I remember back I realized how these little things used to make me happy.
Essay on School Picnic to Kidzania – Essay 5 (600 words)
School trips are the most awaited ones. They not only give us a long break from our monotonous lives but also bring lots of memories. Last year, I went to Kidzania for the school trip and here are my experiences from that trip.
My School Picnic to Kidzania
Our day at Kidzania began at 9 in the morning. I was stunned looking at this wonderful place which was actually a city which we have all dreamt about. It was clean, had well organized buildings, well developed roads, factories, police station, grocery shops, trees and everything that is present in a well developed city. The day began with Kidzania theme song where all the staff members dance and welcome the kids and their parents.
Just as every country has its own currency; Kidzania also has its own currency named Kidzos. After entering every child is given a cheque of 50 Kidzos which he/ she can withdraw whenever needed to enjoy the activities in the Kidzania world.
There were different buildings build for different purposes. There were offices, factories and many other places where we can work and get salary in Kidzos. The kids are divided in different groups for different jobs as per their age. First of all, I and my friends went to the dentist and learnt some skills for removing the tooth having cavities. Not only this, we also did check up of other kids with different instruments. At the end of that, the head dentist made us understand about how crucial it is to do proper brushing. After that, we went to the bakery and made our very own delicious donuts.
We also did the wall painting on a very huge wall besides the road. Then, we got to know that there is a fashion show and we can walk on the ramp wearing those beautiful clothes. I and my friends couldn’t control our excitement and we immediately went for that. We walked through the ramp and it was an amazing experience. To our excitement, we saw an ice cream parlour next to that building. Going inside we realized that we can make our own ice cream, of whichever flavour we like. Similarly, there was a Kinder Joy factory where we made Kinder Joy and a Kellogs factory where we made Chocos.
Not just work, there were buildings in which there were classes to learn dance, play guitar, drums and flute, and also sing. So, we tried out almost everything we could. I learnt few notes on guitar and that was my first time on any musical instrument. After learning all this new stuff, we thought to try our hands on gadgets also. So, we went to the gadget store nearby where we were given information about the technology used in mobile phones and laptops. It was real fun.
To end our tour, there was a series of folk dances and music where all the kids had prepared something of their own for the entertainment of the audiences. I was also a part of a group with whom I performed Bhangra. This made us interact with other kids more and that is where I made my new friends who were basically from Amritsar, my birth place. All of the shows, including the singing event, helped us know how amazingly talented other kids were. After all of this there was a thank you speech by the staff members with whom we were also connected now.
All of this experience of being part of this amazing world was beyond words. It was the world where we not just used the amenities but also helped in creating them. The joy of making something on your own was just beyond words. Every kid should once visit Kidzania in their childhood and make long lasting memories there.

My School Essay 500 Words
The place where children as the leaders of tomorrow study and where the future of the nation is shaped are called schools. Education is an essential weapon for tomorrow, so the good schools of today are important for the best future of a nation. Schools are the center of learning where we attend classes on various subjects, interact with the teachers, get our queries
answered, and appeared in exams. In my school, learning is more like a fun activity, because of the extra-talented teaching staff.
My school is a government primary school located on the outskirts of the city. Usually, when people think about a government school, they perceive it to be at an isolated location and have poor basic amenities and teaching facilities. But, despite being a government school, my school defies all such speculations. Teachers of my school are not only knowledgeable about the subjects they teach but also are skilled enough to teach through fun activities. For example, our physics teacher explains every concept by stating real-life examples that we could relate to. This way we not only understand the subject better. Moreover, not a moment I remember, when any teacher had ever replied rudely to any of the students. They always patiently listen and provide answers to all the queries posed to them. Learning at my school is fun and it is made possible only because of the teachers.
My school is very important in my life, in a way even more than my family. My family gives me love, care, and affection, and provides for all my other essential needs. But, all of this isn’t enough to make me a good human being and succeed in life. Favorably, I am lucky enough to be enrolled in a prestigious school, and gaining a wonderful education, looking forward to realizing my dreams one day. The most necessary for success in life is education, and only my school provides it to me. Without my school and the education that it gives, I would be like a confused and wandering soul, almost aimless in life.
My school helps with my educational and overall personality development. It imparts education through classes, tests, and exams to teach me how to conduct myself confidently. It just feels so great to be in my school and be a part of everyday activities, be it lectures, sports, or Something else. While in school, I always feel happy, confident, enthusiastic, and loved. I make friends at school, those whom I will never forget and will always love them. My family supports my materialistic needs, but school is the place where my actual physical, social, and mental development takes place. I know that every question that crosses my mind will be answered by my teachers. I also know that my school friends will always be at my side whenever I need them to be. As much as the studies, my school also stresses much on These activities as the management thinks that extracurricular activities are very essential for our overall personality development. My school provides dedicated teachers and staff for each extracurricular activity. We have a big sports ground with kits for all the major sports; a covered auditorium for dance and music and a separate basketball court.
The role my school plays in my personality development is fantastic. It not only imparts education in me but also teaches me how to conduct myself and how to behave decently and properly. I get trained in all the other necessary skills of life, like how to keep calm in challenging situations and help others as well. My school teaches me to be a good and evolved human being, to stay composed and progressive always. It also teaches me to be kind and generous to others and not differentiate them based on their caste, religion, ethnicity, or other divisions. These are some of the most essential personality traits that my school imparts to me, something that I will always be thankful for. Every time I think of my school, I think of it as a temple of education. A temple, where my soul meets education, making my life more meaningful and useful to society and the nation as well. It is a place where my aspirations get a wing and I get the strength and confidence to realize them. No other place in the entire world could replace my school and the role that it plays in my life. I will always be thankful to my friends, teachers, and the staff of my school, for making it such a comfortable and Educational place of learning.

Essay on School Field Trips
Can teachers and students imagine all year in class without a chance at a hands-on experience? Field trips should continue throughout the remainder of the school year, because students can put skills into action, learning in new environments, and enhance the curriculum. The way students can put skills into action is by working together with classmates to achieve one goal. If field trips are abolished students that do not learn well in the classroom may lose interest in a particular subject. Field trips teach students that they can learn everywhere.
To begin with, field trips are a great way for students to put skills they learn in the classroom into action. There are three different types of different methods of learning, including visual, auditory, and tactile. By taking field trips away tactile learners would not learn as well as the visual and auditory. Tests and classroom education may not work so great for some children, field trips put every student at the same level. The learning is experience rather than taught. Additionally, learning in new environments can provide challenges for more individualize learning.
During field trips students can learn as much information as they want to, but in the classroom restrictions apply because of the different learning styles. Field trips expose students to new experiences which may lead to new interest or talents. This can be helpful to the students in the long run because they have seen what they like and enjoy doing; therefore they can get an education and pursue that interest. Above all, field trips enhance the curriculum for the students. The students, by field trips, are aware that they can learn from anywhere and everywhere on earth.

Field trips are simple tasks, but they teach students so many useable things in life that are needed in the future workplaces. Some of these things include: problem solving, analytical thinking, theory making, and critical thinking skills. These skills will stick with them for the rest of their life, but if students do not get to go on field trips no skills will be experienced. In conclusion, field trips are expensive, however if we want our students to experience skills that will stick with them we must continue to go on educational field trips.
Financial restrictions are a burden to the school system even if the admission is free. Gas, bus driver, and food is what pushes the cost up. Money is not everything in life when it comes to education we must put everything else aside and put students first. That’s why our school does not need to cut field trips for the remainder of the year, because it puts our skills into action, lets students learn in new environments, and enhances the curriculum. While books can teach and computers can instruct, but they do compare to hands-on experience.

Charging the Parents of Mass Shooters
More from our inbox:, capitulation to trump over jan. 6, turmoil and poverty in central america, learning from dogs, legally blind and courageous.
To the Editor:
Re “ Blaming a Parent, Again, for Failed Gun Laws ,” by Megan K. Stack (Opinion guest essay, Sept. 9):
I commend Ms. Stack for tempering the feelings that I — like so many others in the U.S. — have for the parents of those who commit school shootings.
I agree with her argument that holding parents legally responsible, while simultaneously trying their children as adults, is illogical. Ms. Stacks’s assertion is that this strategy merely creates a scapegoat and distracts from the true solution — stricter gun laws.
I also believe that gun laws are the answer, but the plague of mass shootings has endured through changes in leadership at the executive and congressional level. We should not wait for, nor expect, meaningful legislation anytime soon.
Instead, we should commend prosecutors for their efforts to do something, anything, to confront this problem. If these prosecutions make just one parent think twice about buying their troubled child an AR-15-style rifle for Christmas, they will have worked.
Peter Bransden New York
Megan K. Stack’s essay about the arrest of Colin Gray and his son Colt, who killed four people at his high school, had an online blurb that asked: “Is the problem the man who gave his son a gun, or the gun?” What a silly question!
The answer is that it’s both. As the essay points out, Georgia has some of the most lax gun laws in the country, so there is little control over who has them, what kinds of guns they are and how many someone owns. There were already guns in the home when the F.B.I. questioned father and son last year.
According to other family members, Colt had asked for help with his mental health, but his father gave him an extremely dangerous gun as a present anyway. So yes, his father is responsible for what happened. He gave his son the gun! Soldiers serving in the military during a war need that kind of gun. No one else does, certainly not a troubled teenager.
Colt was aided and abetted by everyone who refuses to support rational gun laws. Until that changes, it is only a matter of time until the next mass shooting.
Linda Cades Easton, Md.
Megan K. Stack’s attempt to exonerate the Georgia father charged with murder for his role in the recent school shooting is tone deaf. We are angry, yes. We are fed up. Yes, there should be a law against giving any deadly weapon to a minor.
But the idea that the Georgia legislature “either deemed such laws unnecessary or didn’t bestir themselves to act” ignores the massive N.R.A. lobbying that blocks gun laws, no matter how sensible. Faced with cowardly politicians, we turn to the courts and to common sense.
It should not take a law to realize the utter stupidity of giving a teenager — any teenager, let alone one already deemed dangerous — an AR-15 for Christmas. I welcome further cases charging clueless parents for these massacres.

Re “ Trump Keeps Jan. 6 Alive, but His Campaign Would Prefer to Pivot ” (news article, Sept. 16):
Attributing Donald Trump’s ability to politically survive his involvement in the events of Jan. 6 largely to his “false recasting of the event” fails to recognize that it is, in fact, the falling in line of Republican officials at all levels that enabled that survival.
For an instant immediately following that horrific event, a number of Republicans, Mitch McConnell and then- Speaker Kevin McCarthy most prominently among them, labeled that insurrection for what it was and roundly condemned Mr. Trump for his incitement of the riot and his failure to act to stop it.
Then, just as quickly, they collectively had an “oops, what have I done?” moment and either retreated in silence or outwardly reversed themselves and joined the great majority of their hypocritical sycophantic colleagues in putting their own political survival above all else. They downplayed the nature of the assault on the Capitol, notwithstanding that they certainly knew better.
Their capitulation to Mr. Trump, coupled with the almost inexplicable ability of millions of Trump followers to ignore their own eyes and ears, is what has allowed him to deny the reality of Jan. 6 and clear the path to his third presidential candidacy.
If nothing else, the entire process has exposed the lack of principle, overriding self-interest and dishonesty of the vast majority of Republican office holders. One can only hope that the voters will bring the chickens home to roost!

Re “ Drug Dealers Endanger ‘Pura Vida’ of Costa Rica ” (front page, Sept. 16):
I grew up in rural Costa Rica in the 1980s, and refugee camps near our farm were constant reminders of armed conflict in Central America. Instability can spread regionally, and Costa Rica has never been immune.
The spillover is happening again, with violence intensifying as the U.S. war on drugs is failing. Flawed strategies have emboldened cartels and eroded public safety. The crisis deepens as U.S. allies , such as Juan Orlando Hernández, former Honduran president, are convicted of drug trafficking .
The turmoil triggers waves of migrants who are fleeing forced displacement due to violence. Restoring public safety is essential, but it must go hand in glove with reinforcing the safety net.
By fighting poverty, we can more meaningfully disrupt narco influence and culture. To help win the war on drugs, let’s repair the fraying social fabric in Central America.

Re “ Educational Lessons From a Puppy School ” (Science Times, Sept. 17):
Maybe the way forward from our current fractured and fractious society, as this story suggests, is through our dogs.
Whenever I meet other dog owners in local parks or in my neighborhood, we chat happily about our pets. I have no idea of anyone’s political affiliation — thank God leashes and collars are free of bumper stickers.
Those who love dogs start from common ground, and that may be a reasonable way to foster civil conversations. It couldn’t hurt.
Merri Rosenberg Ardsley, N.Y.
Re “ A Blind Photographer in Paris ,” by Samantha Hurley (Opinion guest essay, Sept. 15):
I applaud Ms. Hurley, a legally blind journalism student who went to Paris to photograph the Paralympics, for her courage and creative approach to her disability.
As a legally blind English professor — talk about odd career choices for a legally blind person — I graded handwritten student essays with a magnifying glass in hand, and lived, taught and traveled for years in China and Eastern Europe.
It’s impossible to overestimate what modern technology has done for people like us, but it still requires guts and imagination.
Naomi Woronov New York
An earlier version of a letter misstated the surname of the father of a school shooting suspect. He is Colin Gray, not Stack.
