Ganpatipule Travel Guide | A Hidden Konkan Gem | Mumbai to Ganpatipule

GanpatiPule Beach

Mumbai to GanpatiPule- There is nothing to beat a Konkan getaway if you want to drink in the beauty of lush greens, clear, sparkling waters of pristine white beaches, and ancient, colorful temples each of which has a unique story to tell.

We decided to go on a road trip to Ganpatipule, a charming beach town on the Konkan coast of Maharashtra that had everything to offer to tourists of all kinds. A haven for beach lovers, the in-place for adventure lovers, and a resort for the religious-minded, Ganpatipule was sure-shot key to a refreshing and rejuvenating holiday.

What is so Special about the Place?

Ganpatipule lies at a distance of 342 km from Mumbai. Apart from its white pristine beach, Ganpatipule is best known for its 400-year-old Lord Ganesha temple. The temple houses a self-manifested idol of the Lord which is carved out of a huge rock. The ‘swayambhu’ idol was discovered several hundred years ago.

Another important feature of this place is that it still remains untouched by commercialism and hence becomes a perfect idyllic resort for people of all ages. Besides, adventure sports which are being offered during specific months of the year become an added pull for the brave hearts.

I recommend you to check out our exclusive Konkan Trip blog done on the bullet.

Best Time to Embark on Your Journey

Ganpatipule enjoys a warm and humid climate and therefore, the best time to visit this place is during the winter months. The weather is pleasantly cool around this period and hence November to February forms the best months to pay a visit. It is advisable to carry light woolens along with you.

Another good time to visit the place is during the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. This is the time when weeklong festivities are held in the entire town and processions of Lord Ganesha are taken out around the place.

Monsoons are best avoided as the area experiences heavy showers during the rainy season.

How to Reach by Road?

There are two route options to reach Ganpatipule if you are travelling by road.  The first option is:

  • Mumbai to Ganpatipule via NH 66

This route covers Rasayani, Kolad, Khed, Chiplun, Kalambaste to reach Ganpatipule. The total distance required to travel is about 343 km under this route and will need around 7 hours or so to reach your destination.

  • Mumbai to Ganpatipule via NH 48

This route covers Rasayani, Lonavala, Pune, Satara, Karad, Shahuwadi to reach Ganpatipule. The total distance to travel under this route is about 469 km and will need around 8 hours plus to reach your destination.

We had embarked from Mumbai in our vehicle and had a halt-over at Mahad to visit my grandparents. We began the next day morning and traveled via the NH66 route. Since we had a stopover at Mahad it was a relatively shorter distance to reach Ganpatipule having already traveled part of the way.

Getting Around

You can avail rickshaws or cabs or you can also obtain bicycles or motorbikes on hire. Chauffeur driven cars are also available.

Types of Accommodation Available

Ganpatipule has accommodation catering to all budgets ranging from decent homestays, lodges to luxurious hotel rooms. Today, though there are a number of luxury villas or laidback homestays the place has not lost its original ethos.

We had stayed at the MTDC holiday resort which had cottages adjoining the white sands of the beach. It is one of the best places to stay as you get mesmerizing views and sounds of the splashing sea waves, just a short distance away from your room. At night time the sea waves sing a soothing lullaby and you wake up to the faint sounds of the temple bells ringing early in the morning.

Besides the spellbinding view from the cottage, the main temple of Lord Ganesha is also very close by. The meals offered by the resort are delicious and scrumptious too with an option of veg. and non-veg fare.

Type of Food Available

You can relish some good Maharashtrian fare, both veg, and non-veg kind. Kokam curry, fish curry or sweets like ‘phanaspoli’ and ‘ambapoli’ are a few of the dishes that you must taste besides the famed steamed ‘modaks’ and Alphonso mangoes.

Things to do

  • Visiting Beaches
  • Visiting Temples
  • Water Sport Activities

Ganpatipule is a town that is thronged largely by the religious-minded and those needing to relax in the lap of nature. Since the town is not yet commercialized in a big way shopping is limited to souvenir shopping or shopping for decorative seashell pieces or relics.

However, if you visit the place during the summer season then you can shop for the famed and popular Alphonso mangoes which can be got for very cheap prices as compared to those in big metros like Mumbai and Pune.

Water Sports

If you want to obtain an adrenalin rush you need to head to the varied water sports offered by the MTDC resort in Ganpatipule. These are available beginning from the month of November and continue till May.

The strong-hearted can test their strength through the exciting row-boating ride in the beach water or you can get a James Bond to feel whizzing through the sea waters on a water scooter or motorboat. Banana boating activity is best for family groups. You can also go paragliding, kayaking in addition to enjoying the camel and horse rides offered on the beach.

  • Remember to have a stock of drinking water with you for the day while you indulge in water sports.
  • Select only those operators equipped with all the necessary safety equipment.
  • Do some stretching exercises before you go for the water sport activities.

Places to Visit

1) ganapati temple.

The ‘swayambhu’ temple of Lord Ganesha is one of the top attractions of this place. The temple is located at the base of a hill adjoining the beach. The unique feature of the temple is that its presiding deity stands facing in the westward direction unlike those in other temples.

The idol of Lord Ganapati placed in the sanctum sanctorum which rides on a lion is made of copper while the self-manifested idol is made from a single huge rock. The placement of the deity is such that during sunset time, the idol is engulfed in a beautiful glow cast by the setting sun.

The timings of the temple range from 6 am to 9 pm.

2) Velneshwar Temple

Velneshwar which lies about 37 km from Ganpatipule is well-known for its ancient Lord Shiva temple. There are several shrines dedicated to Lord Ganesha, Vishnu and Kala Bhairav in the complex. The temple witnesses a big crowd of devotees during Mahashivratri.

Another spot of attraction here is the Velneshwar beach. With Ganpatipule and Guhagar beaches adjoining on both sides, this beach with its virgin sands, smooth shoreline and swaying coconut palms is also a big pull for tourists. You can enjoy some good local cuisine here.

3) Ganpatipule Beach

The Ganpatipule beach is an idyllic location for all beach lovers and adventure enthusiasts. The pure white sands of this pristine beach, the clear waters of the sea, the mesmerizing sunsets, and the ringing bells of the Ganapati Temple close by offering a soothing ambiance to every visitor. The beach attracts a lot of visitors who wish to relax and experience some quiet moments in the midst of nature.

However, the waters are known to be treacherous and visitors are warned not to step into the sea.

As for the food variety, you can have your fill at any of the veg or non-veg restaurants in the area.

  • If you are planning on spending some peaceful moments on the beach avoid visiting the place during important Ganapati festivals or peak season.
  • Remember to don comfy clothes and footwear while on your visit.

Other nearby Beaches

If you want to taste more of the beach environment there are two more beaches close to Ganpatipule. These are the Bhandarpule beach and the Aare Ware beach which lie at a distance of 3.5 km and 9 km respectively from Ganpatipule.

Aare and Ware are two unspoiled beaches with clear blue waters and smooth sands while the sea waters of the Bhandarpule beach have a bluish-green hue to it. If one wants to go far away from the maddening crowds then these are the places to go. The utter solitude and peace that exists here can exist nowhere. And how can one forget the mesmerizing views of the sunset at the beaches here! They remain forever etched in your memory.

1) PrachinKonkan Museum

Another interesting place to visit is the PrachinKonkan Museum, an open-air museum that lies at a distance of about 1 km from the Ganpatipule beach.

The museum spans an area of 3 acres and showcases the way of life of the locals. It provides a glimpse into the Maratha history and has several sculptures of the Maratha ruler, ShivajiMaharaj as well as models of the majestic sea-forts of the region.

Another unique exhibit of this open-air museum is the Nakshatra Baug where each sun sign is depicted by a garden of trees. The museum is also a treat for bird lovers being home to a wide variety of bird species.

Entrance Fee: Rs 40 per individual (guide included)

Timings: 8.30 am to 6 pm

2) Jaigad Fort

The Jaigad fort which was once a strategic location of the Maratha Empire is located at a distance of around 14 km from Ganpatipule. Standing tall on a cliff, the fort offers a commanding view of the Arabian Sea and the ships sailing by.

Though the fort is largely in ruins, the stunning view more than makes up for the climb! The existence of a decent tar road enables you to drive up to the entrance of the fort.

The Jaigad lighthouse which is located close-by also needs to form a part of your visit.

Timings: 9 am to 4.30 pm

  • It is best to visit the fort during broad daylight.
  • It is advisable to travel in groups from a safety point of view in the absence of security guards at the site.
  • Carry a stock of water during your visit.
  • Walk carefully watching your steps.

The small hamlet of Malgund which lies at a distance of around 2.4 km from Ganpatipule is the birthplace of the famed Marathi poet KaviKeshavsoot. Interested visitors can pay a visit to his home which is now transformed into a student hostel. A memorial has been constructed in the poet’s honor hereby the Marathi SahityaParishad.

4) Thibaw Palace

The Thibaw Palace which once upon a time housed King Thibaw of Myanmar during the period of his exile is a must-visit site. It is at a distance of about 25 km from Ganpatipule and is a perfect spot for picnickers. The place offers stunning views of the sunset.

Must-Visit Sites along the Way

If you happen to drive your own vehicle as we did you can definitely take some time out to visit the following mentioned sites along the way.

1) Parashurama Temple at Chiplun

On your way to Ganpatipule, you can pay a quick visit to the Parshuram Temple located at Chiplun. The temple architecture is a blend of Hindu, Muslim and European styles; a one of a kind in the country. The sanctum houses three idols, the idol of Lord Parshuram, (the 6 th incarnation of Vishnu) lies in the center with idols of Lord Shiva and Lord Brahma on each of its sides.

2) ‘Shivasrushti’ of Dervan

A detour of 2 km from Savarde village on the Mumbai-Goa highway will take you to this place. The place showcases important events in the life of Maratha ruler ShivajiMaharaj through the form of sculptures.

The sculptures which have been etched on the walls of the Shivasamartha fort bring the historical events to life and leave you dazed and mesmerized at the skill of the artisans. The museum was created in honor of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj by social worker Sitarambuva Walavalkar.

Timings: 8 am to 6 pm

On a Concluding Note

We stayed at Ganpatipule for a couple of days and headed directly back to Mumbai refreshed and rejuvenated and loaded with a bagful of memories!

How to Reach Ganpatipule from Mumbai - A Personal Guide

Ganpatipule is a small beach town located on the Konkan coast of Maharashtra. Known for its pristine beaches and the 400-year-old Ganpati Temple, it makes for an ideal weekend getaway from Mumbai.

As someone who has made this journey several times, here is my personal guide on how to reach Ganpatipule from Mumbai in the most convenient way.

How to Reach Ganpatipule from Mumbai

Driving down to Ganpatipule is one of the most popular and convenient ways to reach there from Mumbai. The route passes through some incredibly scenic stretches and takes around 9 hours to cover the distance of 342 km.

Here is the preferred route you can take:

Start from Mumbai and get on to the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. This is a smooth 6-lane expressway that cuts down travel time significantly.

After crossing Pune, continue on NH48 towards Kolhapur. Make sure your vehicle is in good condition as this stretch has fast-moving traffic.

Once you cross Kolhapur, take the turn for NH204 which branches off NH48. This road passes through the breathtaking ghats of the Western Ghats. Drive cautiously as the road is narrow with several tricky hairpin bends.

At Vaibhavwadi, turn left onto the road for Ganpatipule (SH114). From here it's a straight road through coastal towns like Ratnagiri and Jaigad. The last stretch from Jaigad to Ganpatipule is especially scenic.

You'll reach Ganpatipule in about 9 hours from Mumbai if you take minimal breaks. I recommend stopping for lunch at Kolhapur or Ratnagiri.

For those who prefer trains over road journeys, the Konkan Railway provides direct rail connectivity between Mumbai and Ganpatipule.

Here are the details:

Catch a train from Mumbai (LTT, CST, Dadar or Thane) going towards Ratnagiri/Kudal/Madgaon. Some good options are the Mandovi Express, Konkan Kanya Express, or Jan Shatabdi Express.

Alight at Ratnagiri station. This is the nearest railhead to Ganpatipule, around 35 km away.

From Ratnagiri, you can either take a taxi or bus to reach Ganpatipule. Buses are more economical but tend to take longer. Pre-paid and private taxis are quicker.

Total journey time will be around 10-12 hours with this route. Carry snacks and meals during the train journey.

The nearest airport is at Chipi-Parule which is about 28 km from Ganpatipule. It has very limited flight connectivity with Mumbai as of now. But if you do get a direct flight, it's the fastest way to reach in just over an hour.

Take a flight from Mumbai to Chipi-Parule Airport

Hire a pre-paid taxi from the airport to reach Ganpatipule in less than 30 minutes.

Where to Stay

Ganpatipule has accommodation options for all budgets - from homestays and lodges to luxury resorts.

For a peaceful stay try beach resorts like Are Villa, Jaigad Beach Resort, etc. which have cottages facing the sea.

MTDC Resort is a mid-range option with decent amenities.

There are also many budget hotels and lodges, especially near the Ganpati Temple.

Homestays with local families let you experience the culture closely.

I recommend booking in advance during peak seasons. Nivali, Konkan Bhumi, and MakeMyTrip are good sites to find and compare Ganpatipule hotels.

Getting Around

Ganpatipule is a small town that can be easily covered on foot. You can walk around the main temple area, Gandhi Maidan, and the beaches.

To visit other beaches like Aare-Ware, walk or take an auto-rickshaw. Agree on the fare before getting on.

To visit nearby towns, you can hire a taxi or self-drive a rental car. Head out towards Jaigad Fort, Prachin Konkan Museum, Malgund village, etc.

Motorbikes are also available for rent but drive carefully on the narrow coastal roads.

Places to See

Here are the top attractions in Ganpatipule:

Ganpati Temple  - The prime landmark housing a 400-year-old idol of Lord Ganesha.

Ganpatipule Beach  - The main beach stretch is lined with small shops and eateries. Safe for swimming.

Also read - Why Ganpatipule Beach Can Be Risky for Swimmers

Prachin Konkan  - A museum displaying the history and culture of the Konkan region.

Jaigad Fort  - A 17th-century seaside fort with a rich maritime history.

Malgund Village  - Quaint Konkani village is famous for its sol kadi, a popular curry-based appetizer.

Aare Ware Shooting Spot  - Site of several Bollywood movie shootings.

Water Sports  - Banana boat rides, jet-skis, speed boats, etc. available at the beaches.

Food to Try

Konkan cuisine is dominated by flavorful coconut-based curries and seafood. Don't miss these local delicacies in Ganpatipule:

Sol Kadhi  - A pink appetizer drink made with coconut milk and kokum. Have fried fish.

Kokam Kadi  - Fish curry with a tangy kokum gravy.

Malvani Mutton  - Spicy mutton preparation with coconut, pepper, and recheado masala.

Bangda Fry  - Fresh caught mackerel shallow fried with spices.

Konkan Kombdi - Chicken curry redolent with aromas of coconut, coriander, and black pepper.

Alphonso Mango Ice Cream  - This sweet treat during summer is made from the heavenly Alphonso mangoes.

Seafood lovers must try the fresh catch of the day including prawns, lobsters, pomfret, etc. Veg options are also available everywhere.

Best Time to Visit

Ganpatipule has a hot and humid climate for most of the year. The best seasons are:

Winter (November-February)  - Pleasant weather in the 60s. Perfect for enjoying the beaches.

Monsoons (June-August)  - Offers a different experience with lush green hills and raging sea. Far fewer tourists.

Summer (March-May)  - Warm and humid weather with temperatures in the 80s. Budget hotels offer attractive discounts.

Avoid visiting during the monsoon months of July-August due to potential heavy rainfall and roadblocks.

Travel Tips

From my experience, here are some handy tips for your Ganpatipule trip:

Carry light cotton clothes, hats, shades, and sunscreen.

Keep mosquito repellent handy as it can get humid.

Drink lots of water and coconut water to stay hydrated.

Carry basic medicines for motion sickness, headaches, allergies, etc.

Make sure you have sufficient cash, there are not many ATMs.

Travel in groups for safety, especially if you are female.

Check for travel updates online to avoid any unplanned surprises.

Interact with the locals - they give the best food recommendations.

Why Visit Ganpatipule?

In spite of being a small sleepy town, Ganpatipule has a special charm because of its pristine beaches, magical sunrises and sunsets, friendly locals, and delicious local cuisine. It is the perfect antidote to unwind from the stress of city life. The trip also provides a fascinating glimpse into traditional Konkan culture.

For me, it's the soothing sound of waves, unbelievable coastal views, and the divine presence at the Ganpati temple that keep calling me back. I hope this guide gives you all the motivation to plan that long impending trip to Ganpatipule.

In addition to the azure waters and wide sandy beach, Ganpatipule offers a plethora of thrilling water sports to choose from. Speed boat, jet ski and banana rides are the popular ones.

Nothing could feel more exciting than exploring a beach on a horse’s back. Many family travelers particularly those with young kids go for horse-cart rides (pulled by a horse).

You can rent a beach scooter as well and traverse the beach to enjoy the panoramic beauty of the place.

Of late, a few underwater sports like snorkeling have also started. Depending on the underwater visibility on a particular day, it may or may not be available.

If you want to enjoy thrilling underwater sports in India, there can’t be a better place than Andaman Islands. Check this post to know more: Andaman Islands Travel Guide .

3. Visit Ganpatipule Temple

Situated right on the beach at the foothills of the evergreen Sahyadri ranges, Ganpatipule temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha.

This temple is a major attraction for tourists visiting the beach. It is also known as the temple of Swayambhu, which in Sanskrit means ‘self-manifested’.

The 400-year-old idol of Lord Ganesha is believed to have naturally arisen from the earth. Unlike many other temples where the deities face east, the Ganesha idol in this temple is west-facing. Many devotees walk around the hill as a mark of respect to the deity.

It is visited by thousands of worshippers during the famous Ganpati festival, celebrated with great gusto in Maharashtra.

4. Watch Spectacular Sunset

There can’t be a better way to end a beautiful day than watching a gorgeous beach sunset. If you are at this beach close to sundown hours, it’s worth waiting for a while for the sunset. I captured this moment from the top of a hill in Ganpatipule.

The sky is filled with vivid colours like an exploding firework as the sun sets on the horizon. It is one of those moments when you have to stop and watch it happen.

With the growing popularity of this beach, many resorts and hotels have come up in this small village.

I stayed in Abhishek Beach Resort and Spa which is set right on the seafront. A well-kept resort with all amenities, it is one of the best places for your sojourn in Ganpatipule.

In addition, you can witness a fabulous sunset from the terrace of the in-house restaurant. The main beach is almost 15 minutes walk from here.

Book A Room in Abhishek Beach Resort and Spa .

Another good option is Hotel Grand Ganesha. It is a mid-range hotel, conveniently located at a walkable distance from the beach. Check the price and book your stay at Hotel Grand Ganesha .

Winter months lasting November to February are considered the best months to visit Ganpatipule beach. The weather remains pleasant throughout the day but nights are colder.

The summer season starts knocking from March and lasts till May. The months of March and April are also not bad for a trip but avoid May, which is the hottest month. From June to September, it’s monsoon time, not an ideal season to visit a beach.

A short vacation spanning 2 days should be ideal for a beach trip to Ganpatipule. If you have a day or two to spare, consider exploring some of the interesting attractions located close by.

About a kilometer away from the beach is a sprawling open-air museum, known as Prachin Konkan Museum . It offers a glimpse into the history of Konkan, their culture and traditions.

They have depicted a typical Konkani village of the olden days with life-size statues made of clay and woods. You need to pay a very nominal fee of Rs 40 per person to visit the museum. It is open from 8: 30 am to 6 pm on all days.

Another attraction worth seeing is Jaigad Fort, which lies almost 20 km away from the beach. It is a 16th-century fort built by the Bijapur kings.

Strategically located on a cliff, the fort offers captivating views of the Arabian sea. Jaigad fort is recognized as a protected monument by the Archaeological Survey of India.

Nearly 6 km away from Ganpatipule is Malgund beach, which is another serene beach on the Konkan coast. This beach is even less commercialized. So, you can see only a handful of tourists at any point in time.

It is an excellent place for those seeking to spend some me-time amidst nature. A few water sports facilities are also available at this beach.

The Konkan Coast in Maharashtra is teeming with heavenly beaches. There are many beaches on this coastline that you can explore on your next trip, including Kashid Beach and Alibaug Beach.

Weekend Getaway From Mumbai To Ganapatipule

Ganapatipule Temple

First we visited the Ganpatipule Ganesh Temple, we were touched by its simplicity and busy but silent ambience. The temple holds it is very own uniqueness - the idol is a self emerged structure.

As the sun was still up there, we took a chance to break for chai and snacks. There are lot of shacks to treat with snacks and coconut water for refreshment.

We held our ground viewing the sun till dusk and enjoying this leisure time.

It is an amazing view if you get a jet skie ride during this time with sun closing down on the sea. (Other Water sports are also available if you are interested).

After we had spent some amazing time at the beach, the next stop was dinner. We decided on the MTdC restaurant Tarang to treat us with the coastal delight. And they didn't disappoint us. The food was too class, because we were so close to the sea, we were sure of getting fresh and awesome seafood. The food took time to come but was worth of wait.

Few recommendation in starters which are my personal favourite are, Surmai and pomfret tawa fry, prawns Koliwada, and Solkadi (refreshment drink).

The main course too was delightful, the fish curry and steamed rice happens to be the best combination. We also ordered for a single seafood thali that allows us to decide on the fish we want. Our stomach was full but the taste buds were marinated with the Malvan masala and already were asking for more.

And the hogging Continued....

Day two of my getaway from Mumbai to Ganapatipule was planned well as we had only come here for the weekend. We started with a dip in the sea. The water was cold but the sun was bright and helped us keep warm. We wandered across the beach like there is no end to this time... A rather unknowing friend met us at the beach, this was a conconut vendor, he treated us with his warm welcome and gave us super cool coconuts to drink. He not treated us but also made a small souvenir for us. This was something unusual and very skilful we saw. He made cricket bats out of coconut scraps. He kept the crowd pulling to his stall by this and welcomed them warm heartedly. Cool stuff.

As we enjoyed the tender cocunut and moved along, and after a refreshing breakfast, we planned to go the museum which was also in a walkable distance 10 min from the Hotel.

The prachin Konkan guide gave us a brief description of the various professions and botanical benefits of the plants in the arena. It was a nicely made and restaurants served the giant Modaks for which we were craving for.

It was layered with mouth watering shudh Ghee.. "You need a silver fork to enjoy good food."

We ventured through the area spending more time on various stalls.

It was then time for lunch, and then we had our train scheduled for Mumbai. Not thinking much, the best option was again the MTDC restaurant, Tarang. The appetite was there, and we enjoyed the most beautiful weekend enjoying the sea view and eating sea food.

I would never mind coming from Mumbai to Ganapatipule again. If you can manage a stay in MTDC, it would be the most amazing weekend spend. It offers you everything from view to food.

As all good things come to an end, we had to say good bye to this place and take off for Mumbai. This place is definately a destress zone and way away from the hush bush of the city. It gives you cleaner air and gives a smile for your lungs. With good people all around giving you warm welcome, and with beautiful landscape to make you Awww and then food that makes your trip endlessly delicious ..... I rate it as one of best travel experience I ever had ... :):):):):) (Five smiles)

At an hour's distance from Ratnagiri is a place called Ganpatipule, that gives a very serene view and experience of the Konkan Belt. Here are the details of my trip from Mumbai to Ganapatipule.

I am trying out rails this time and not the roads to travel.

I am writing this in middle of the trip and the best part till now has been the train Journey from Mumbai to Ganapatipule.

We booked seats in the Tejas train through IRCTC site. For me, this happened to be the most sorted experience touring indian trains.

The train provides comfort seatings, food, beverages just like any another flight does. The highlight of all is a small personal screen with cool User interface fitted on each seat that has mix of music, movies and others.

You can enjoy them with the pair of your own headsets or they provide you for a charge of RS 20. A port to charge your electronic devices is also available on each seat. This is - the most equipped distance train of Indian Rails.

I can add a five star to this experience. Check the gadget in the below pic.

The train runs to and fro from CST to Karmali (north Goa). We got into the train at 6.30 am at Panvel and we reached Ratnagiri by 11 am. 4 hours - that's it!

Ratnagiri to Ganpatiphule:

We did our booking beforehand and therefore we avoided any last moment negotiation on transport and hotel booking. This cool rickshaw driver took us to Ganpatiphule for 500rs. The fare is comparatively ok for a 41 km ride. We halted on the way to capture the beauty that welcomed us.

Where To Stay On Your Trip From Mumbai To Ganapatipule

ShreeSagar Hotel: The location is at walkable distance from the beach and close to the Mtdc resort. Hotel has been good till now and we had a decent Veg lunch at this hotel itself. ( This hotel serves only veg). The climate here is so chilled and you will always have a chilled wind blowing even during day time. We would have the fans too switched off and air conditioning was not required at all in this season.

With the pleasant climate still to our company, we planned to catch up some rest and go for a sunset view at the beach which is 7 min walking distance from this hotel.
