Really enjoyable relaxing trip. A great way to see Stockholm from the water. Interesting commentary.

It was raining, the windows had to be closed for the most part, but the problem is that they were also hazing, so we could hardly see anything.

This is my fourth time taking this boat trip, and it never disappoints. Booked in advance before getting to Stockholm, you often get a discount by booking online in advance. It was a beautiful sunny day, so perfect for this trip, a nice light breeze through the open windows from the water. A lovely way to relax and wind down, and soak up the wonders of Stockholm. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. There is a cafe onboard where you can grab a drink, including alcohol, or “Fika” time as they say in Sweden. I’ve done many Stromma trips over the years and this is one of the nicest. I don’t use the audio which is available in several languages to listen to as you travel along but this is worth tuning into as its very informative, and new earphones are provided by the crew as you board the boat. There is also a toilet onboard as well. TIP: If you want a window view for photo opportunities, it is worth queuing to get on the boat as soon as possible, as sometimes you might get someone whose head is out the window with a giant camera the entire trip, and who has zero idea others might want to see out the window as well, this happened on this trip, and whilst it did not bother me, it clearly annoyed a family who boarded at the second pickup.

This was nice. Seeing Stockholm from another view. Can really rekommend it. Tings can allways get bytter. That is the reason for 4 stars and not 5.

-A 2 1/2 hour boat tour around the centre of Stockholm passing both through the Baltic Sea and Lake Malaren. Plenty of buildings and scenery to view as you listen to an audio commentary which is available in multiple languages. A nice relaxed way of getting an orientation of the city and to see the city vista. Was also fun passing through the lock between the sea and a lake.

This was a two hour cruise that should be 50 minutes. The bridges aren’t a sightseeing destination. While the architecture and landscape is beautiful from the perspective of the water, it just wasn’t worth the time. They don’t do a good job communicating about the audio guide. You need to pick up the complimentary headphones and map on the way to your seat. Plug the headphones into a jack just behind the headrest of the seat. The audio guide does a great job advertising the other trips by Stromma, or the onboard store to purchase food and drink. Although I am not sure how many actually paid for what they took (seemed to be on the honor system). Most people were falling asleep, so if that’s what you’re after, it’s a good nap.

This boat trip lasts 2 hours. It has an audio guide. There are about 40 people per boat. In July, on a clear day, it is crazy hot in the boat and people are packed in tight. The captain speaks only a couple of times, but you have to choose whether to listen to him or the audio. Sights mentioned are not often clear and no one points them out. Windows on the boat we’re open but not every seat has an open window so photos are poor. Seated, windows are high so view is difficult. Good news: water was calm and much of the audio was interesting.

It was a good boat experience however I would say that the whole journey could be performed within 1 hour instead of the almost 2 and a half hours. Interesting but too long and after a while it starts to be boring. Besides that, very good experience overall.

There were none. The boat design was terrible. The seats were turned and words. So you had to turn around to look out at the sites. It appeared that they were more concerned about selling their food and providing a tour.
