To celebrate the 30th birthday of Little Earthquakes, Tori had teamed up with the folks at Z2 comics to create a limited-edition 8×8 Graphic Album which includes 24 stories inspired by the album which will be released in September. There are also Deluxe and Platinum Artist editions which are 12×12 and include the Little Earthquakes LP as well as a very special Little Earthquakes ‘B-Sides picture disc vinyl,’ and more!

“To have some of the most creative graphic artists interpret the songs from Little Earthquakes, is a true honor,” Tori explains. “I enjoyed working with Rantz on Comic Book Tattoo so much that when he contacted me about putting something together for the 30th Anniversary, I had no hesitation. Artwork is such an important part of my musical world and to see these songs come to life in graphic form is such a joy.”

The contributors to the book are an all-star cast of literary and artistic talent, including Tori’s longtime friend Neil Gaiman ( The Sandman , American Gods ) telling a tale inspired by “Tear In Your Hand” with artist Bilquis Evely ( The Dreaming ), and legendary author Margaret Atwood ( The Handmaid’s Tale ) who will bring to life the iconic song “Silent All These Years” with acclaimed artist David Mack ( Kabuki ), who has also painted the stunning cover. Other contributors include Leah Moore, Colleen Doran, Derek McCulloch, Lar deSouza, Annie Zaleski, Marc Andreyko, Cat Mihos, Neil Kleid, and Alison Sampson.

The 8” x 8” standard hardcover edition will be released in finer bookstores, comic shops, and record stores everywhere in September 2022, and will be available for pre-order through Z2 and ToriAmos.com. The limited Deluxe and Platinum Artists Editions will be available exclusively through Z2’s website in limited quantities.

The oversized 12” x 12” Deluxe Edition will be limited to 1,450 units, which will come packaged in a collectors slipcase, with vinyl releases of Little Earthquakes and the previously unavailable vinyl picture disc of Little Earthquakes: The B Sides, as well as 12” x 12” art prints by Comic Book Tattoo contributors Jason Levesque, KAKO, and David Mack.

Tori Amos has announced her massive North American 2022 tour today, with stops in NYC, Los Angeles, Seattle, Boston, Philadelphia and more. Public sales for the ‘Ocean to Ocean Tour’ begins Friday, February 4 at 10am local time, with local presales starting earlier in the week. For more information, visit the artist’s official website .

Thrilled to connect with fans once more, Amos’ captivating live show will bring het new album, Ocean to Ocean , to life and include some career-spanning fan favorites.

Ocean to Ocean was released digitally and on CD in October and had been made available as a beautiful vinyl package last Friday, January 28. The record received widespread acclaim by fans and media alike, with features spanning Pitchfork, Entertainment Weekly, Stereogum, SPIN and NPR . The record debuted at No.2 on the Billboard Current Alternative Albums Chart and No.6 on the Billboard Album Sales Chart, marking her tenth Top 10 appearance.

Ocean to Ocean is Amos’ most personal work in years – an album bursting with warmth and connection, with deep roots in her earliest song writing. As communities around the world suffered the loss of life, live music, travel, and much at all to observe, Tori had a difficult time during the pandemic. She descended to an emotional state lower than she had been to for a long time – but the depths became creative, forcing a return to the kind of introspection she recognized from her debut album Little Earthquakes.

The new collection is an expression of kinship and love, of emotional and geographical dislocation. It explores environmental concerns, the restraints of the pandemic for those on the cusp of adulthood, empowerment, loss & healing delivered with Tori’s trademark urgency and passion.

A pioneer across multiple platforms, Tori Amos’ second book RESISTANCE , a New York Times Bestseller, was released in 2020. Unrepentant Geraldines was her eighth studio album to debut in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 Chart. Her decidedly feminist stage musical The Light Princess debuted at No. 2 on the Broadway Billboard Chart.

Nominated for multiple Grammy Awards, she was the first major label artist to offer a single for download, has had her songs turned into graphic novels and has produced ground-breaking videos throughout her career. In late 2016 she released the title song “Flicker” to the acclaimed Netflix documentary Audrie and Daisy , addressing issues of high school rape. A noted humanitarian, Tori was the first public voice for RAINN (Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network), which is the United States’ largest anti-sexual assault organization, and continues to be member of its National Leadership Council.

Tori Amos Drops ‘Ocean to Ocean’ Tour Dates Ahead of ‘Tiny Desk’ Debut

By Larisha Paul

Larisha Paul

Tori Amos is bringing her latest album Ocean to Ocean to North America this spring with a 33-date tour, adding to the soon-to-be underway trek through the U.K. and Ireland.

The North American leg of the Ocean to Ocean tour will kick off in Dallas, Texas on April 27. Amos will make stops in Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Toronto, Seattle, and more before wrapping with a two-night performance at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, California on June 15 and 16. Ticket sales begin on Friday, Feb. 4 at 10 a.m. local time.

Before she brings her sixteenth studio album on the road for a career-spanning live performance, Amos will make her NPR Tiny Desk debut on Feb. 3 with intimate renditions of select album cuts.

Released last October, Ocean to Ocean emerged as an encapsulation of current times, written from Amos’ perspective spending time on the road and living between Cornwall and Florida.

In a statement, she said: “We have all had moments that can knock us down. This record sits with you where you are, especially if you are in a place of loss. I am fascinated when someone has gone through a tragedy, and how they work through their grief. That is where the gold is. When somebody is actually at that place, thinking ‘I’m done,’ how do you reach that person? Sometimes it’s not about a pill, or a double shot of tequila. It’s about sitting in the muck together. I’m going to meet you in the muck.”

Tori Amos to Sail 'Ocean to Ocean' Again With Summer 2023 U.S. Tour

tori amos tour usa

Desmond Murray

Tori Amos is bringing her " Spies " stateside again.

The beloved piano siren has announced an upcoming 2023 U.S. tour, another leg of her successful North American tour from last year, in support of her latest album, 2021's critically acclaimed Ocean to Ocean .

“I am truly excited to be coming back to the US on the Ocean to Ocean Tour this summer with my amazing bandmates Jon Evans and Ash Soan,” Amos said in the tour announcement. “We are so looking forward to playing iconic venues once again such as The Greek in L.A., Red Rocks, and especially Wolf Trap, where I saw so many shows growing up in neighboring Maryland. As I write this, I’m training hard as we head to Europe in March before then heading back to the States in June.”

Amos will be hitting the road in the U.K. and Europe this spring, before kicking off the American leg of her tour on June 17 in West Palm Beach, FL. The tour will then culminate on July 28 in Seattle, WA.

When Amos spoke with Logo in 2021, she confessed how she had "hit a wall" and found herself "in a really sad place" while being in lockdown at her home in Cornwall during the COVID pandemic. She missed performing live, and her Ocean to Ocean tour last year was her first since 2017:

"It's the longest that I haven't played live, missing live music, missing what that means, missing the collaboration within, missing the energy, missing all of that. Plus, I think not being able to get to the States, it's the longest I've been away from the States in my life," the Scarlet's Walk songstress told Logo. " I was in Cornwall. It's one of the most beautiful places in the world, but still, I just couldn't, as you say, get out of this despondency, kind of 'funk.' And I would try, trust me, I tried everything. And so when people say, 'We should just step into it.' Well, I wasn't achieving that."

"So what the muses told me to do is, 'Well, maybe that's not in your skillset. Maybe that's not how you do it, but you can do it and you have to write yourself out of it, but, write from where you are, write from the place you are, start there. And then the songs will take you to other places,'' Amos recalled. "And they took me outside, after ' Metal Water Wood ,' they took me to nature. They took me to the trees. They took me to the clifftops. They took me to the water, they took me and I began to see earth mother. I began to see, 'Wow, she's not in lockdown. She's thriving.' And, of course, the dichotomy is that there were huge fires and there were floods, and there was tragedy in that, while she's in other places, she was going through her cycle, her seasons, from winter to spring. Watching her move from winter to spring was so humbling. I just valued her ability to deal with everything."

When Amos announced her latest album back in 2021, she said : “We have all had moments that can knock us down. [ Ocean to Ocean ] sits with you where you are, especially if you are in a place of loss. I am fascinated when someone has gone through a tragedy, and how they work through their grief. That is where the gold is. When somebody is actually at that place, thinking 'I’m done,' how do you reach that person? Sometimes it’s not about a pill or a double shot of tequila. It’s about sitting in the muck together. I’m going to meet you in the muck.”

Amos has always had a huge LGBTQ following, and she herself says she was " baptized " by playing piano in Washington, D.C. gay bars as a teenager. We are sure there will be plenty of post-concert meetups at queer spaces around the country during this summer's Ocean to Ocean tour.

Trailblazing musician, author and activist Tori Amos announced a US tour this summer to continue celebration of her highly acclaimed 2021 album, Ocean to Ocean. Following a sold-out World Tour throughout 2022, Tori will once again be performing with long-time collaborator bassist Jon Evans and renowned UK drummer Ash Soan, with special guest support to be announced.

She will also be making stops at venues like The Greek Theater in Los Angeles, Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado, and a special stop at Wolf Trap in Virginia, where Amos grew up attending shows.

"I am truly excited to be coming back to the US on the Ocean to Ocean Tour this summer with my amazing bandmates Jon Evans and Ash Soan," Tori says. Ocean to Ocean received widespread acclaim by fans and media alike, earning support from Pitchfork, Entertainment Weekly, Stereogum, SPIN, NPR, PBS NewsHour Weekend, and many others. Amos recently released her new graphic novel Little Earthquakes: The Graphic Album, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of her breakthrough album, Little Earthquakes. Released in partnership with Z2 Comics, the project is a sequel to her first graphic novel, Comic Book Tattoo.

The book demonstrates the lasting influence of Amos' debut album, which established her iconic thematic voice, as well as her live intensity behind the keys, with unflinching lyrics and songs that would inspire generations of artists and musicians. TORI AMOS Announces 2022 North American ‘Ocean to Ocean Tour’

A trailblazing musician, author and activist, Tori Amos has announced a massive North American 2022 tour today, with stops in NYC, Los Angeles, Seattle, Boston, Philadelphia and more. Public On Sales for the ‘Ocean to Ocean Tour’ begins Friday, Feb 4 @ 10am local time, with local presales starting earlier in the week. For more information go to toriamos.com Thrilled to connect with fans once more, her captivating live show will bring the new album, Ocean to Ocean , to life and include some career-spanning fan favorites. Amos’ NPR Tiny Desk Concert will go up tomorrow, offering an intimate opportunity to experience several new songs live.

Ocean to Ocean was released digitally and on CD in October and had been made available as a beautiful vinyl package last Friday, January 28 . The record received widespread acclaim by fans and media alike, with features spanning Pitchfork , Entertainment Weekly , Stereogum , SPIN and NPR . The record debuted at #2 on the Billboard Current Alternative Albums Chart and #6 on the Billboard Album Sales Chart, marking her tenth “Top 10” appearance.

Ocean to Ocean is Amos’ most personal work in years – an album bursting with warmth and connection, with deep roots in her earliest song writing. As communities around the world suffered the loss of life, live music, travel, and much at all to observe, Tori had a difficult time during the pandemic. She descended to an emotional state lower than she had been to for a long time – but the depths became creative, forcing a return to the kind of introspection she recognised from her debut album Little Earthquakes . The new collection is an expression of kinship and love, of emotional and geographical dislocation. It explores environmental concerns, the restraints of the pandemic for those on the cusp of adulthood, empowerment, loss & healing delivered with Tori’s trademark urgency and passion.

A pioneer across multiple platforms, Tori Amos’ second book RESISTANCE, a New York Times Bestseller, was released in 2020. Unrepentant Geraldines was her eighth studio album to debut in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 Chart. Her decidedly feminist stage musical The Light Princess debuted at #2 on the Broadway Billboard Chart.

Tori will be touring North America, UK and Ireland in 2022. For tickets, visit www.toriamos.com .
