We decided to stay in the Hari Mahal Palace because it was close to the wedding place of our friends. In the beginning it looked good vale for money and it didn't disappoint. We were expecting to stay in the heritage place but they sent us to an apartment building, just next to it. The rooms are all with a private toilet and a common area, shared with other 2 our 3 rooms. It was clean enough and the bed was comfortable. The air con was a little bit noisy. What we really didn't like is the train noise, due to its proximity to the train line. The horn sounds all night (or it seems like) and doesn't give a good rest.

This is a great hotel and may well be the best in Jaipur. But there were still some small issues. First, my pet hate, charging for Internet. It's not just the cost but the hassle about arranging it. When it is often free in cheap hotels it makes no sense to charge in an expensive hotel - why not charge extra for a television, for example. Service could be slow - 20 minute wait on one occasion for a coke, for example. Some of the menus had seen better days! Final was that the air conditioning wouldn't set at any temperature but 21 degrees which was cool after coming in from the heat. But these were minor issues overall and with just a little more attention to detail this would be one of the world's great hotels. To get to the airport I used the hotel car - a touch of luxury with a chauffeur in turban and white gloves!

Overall we had a pleasant stay in a roomy, tasteful room with free wi-fi. Though he didn't speak English, the waiter was the one who took care of us with everything and he was very nice. Avoid rooms facing Civil Line, if you want quietness (train whistle may still bother you, though), and RO water they serve. I got my first-ever traveler's diarrhea drinking it.

Good affordable hotel with quality rooms. The hotel is easily accessible in Jaipur and is very close to Civil Lines Metro stations. Ample car parking space is available. I reduct one star becoz they don't offer the bag service. It means when checking out you've to carry your own bag to the exit.

Host was very helpful, especially when one of us was ill when he even sent out for some medication. Very caring. His staff were efficient and friendly. Food was excellent. The reason for 4 stars for facilities is that the room we were in had no view as the windows were shuttered off. However we would thoroughly recommend this lovely Homestay.

Super quiet rooms with A/C in all the dorms. A very chilled out place to relax after the hustle and bustle of the city and India in general. The owner and staff go out of the way to help you and I loved staying with them. Very genuine and helpful. Great relaxing areas with multiple roof tops, big lounge and kitchen.

The building is really nice. I think it's a villa. The main common room is basically like a normal living room so it's easy to feel at home. They have a kitchen where they cook meals for you if you want. I tried their Lassi and it was amazingly delicious. Several people who tried their Chai Tea told me it was their best Chai Tea in India. At the moment the hostel is really new so there are a few areas for improvemnts, but the owner and stuff is very responsive to your feedback. For example, the wifi situation was not good enough for me and after my feedback the owner ordered a new wifi router. Also, the hostel owner often gets out of his way to help his guests. For example, he booked a bus ticket for me, drove me to the bus stop and made sure that I'm on the bus (at 00:30!). And he didn't charged me any money for this and it doesn't looks like he gets money from the bus company. Sometimes someone of the stuff did something that seemed to me (as someone from a western country) a little strange or even a bid rude. But I think these problems come from cultural differences and should get fixed with time. I think the owner and his staff are good people and you should give them a try, if you end up in Jaipur.

In my neighbourhood, there are strong public transportation options like buses, cars, etc. at affordable prices, no highway traffic, and there is decent access to electricity and water. Metro accessibility is close by.
It is an excellent location. The public transit service is excellent. The surroundings are serene. At night, the neighbourhood is safe and secure because of the low crime rate. The metro station is easily accessible.
