First class company

This has been a truly fantastic experience. From our flight being cancelled, which ALT sorted for us, so we didn’t have to worry, to the fantastic Mr Sanjay, our personal driver, and the magnificent hotels we stayed at. We were treated like queens. ALT messaged every day to see how things were, and to make sure we were happy. We honestly cannot fault any part of the company at all. From the first payment to the last outing, everything went smoothly. 10/10

Kerala and Cochin experience

From booking holiday to the places we visited was absolutely fabulous, travel agent when booking made everything easy, from the getting off the plane , being greeted by driver ,dropped off at fabulous hotels with excellent staff, places we saw where out of this world. I would definitely recommend this tour for nature lovers, or anyone looking to relax and see what nature has to offer.

Excellent customer Service

We booked holiday in Thailand in 3 different hotels. First 2 was like a heaven, everything perfect. We have been collected from airport and took to the hotels without any problems. Third hotel Apsara Beach in Khao Lak was an absolutely disaster- dirty , our room was smelly with the look to the kitchen. The hotel trying to scam us and charged for another room! After the conversation with Mark from CS we have been able to change not just room but the hotel within couple hours ! Thank you Affordable Luxury and Mark for your competency , empathy and all your help with our holiday. Keep a space for us for next holiday !

Having decided to go to Kerala - we contacted Affordable Luxury Travel and our agent Max Sharma put together the itinerary. Thailand/ Malaysia holiday…

I decided to book a holiday to Thailand and Malaysia, I found affordable luxury travel and called to enquire about a holiday I saw. The travel agent i spoke to was Max Sharma. From my initial call to he was very helpful, gave me confidence booking with him, and always ensured everything was as I wanted the holiday to be. I wanted to change the itinerary slightly and he assisted with this very efficiently. The whole experience from the start has been excellent. I will definitely use them again for future holidays.

We have recently booked a holiday to India, Golden Triangle & Goa with Jonathan. He has been the best travel agent I've ever dealt with. First time ever booking with Affordable Luxury Travel and I'm pleased with my experience so far. Jonathan is extremely knowledgeable and helpful in offering advice as it'll be our first visit to India. He put together a fantastic package - we really can't wait to go. He listened to what type of hotels we like & we had a good chat about previous holidays so I felt he understood what we would be happy with. He understood that we had to arrange our leave from work & there was no pressure to complete the booking or phoning every day like I've experienced in the past which is so annoying. Met all expectations

SRI Lanka & Maldives I have just booked the above holiday for myself & family. The whole experience was very smooth. I have recently booked a return trip to India this December 2024 for 18 nights with Affordable Luxury Travel. My Agent Gavin Tomar, who dealt with all my travel arrangements & itinerary to Kerala in 2023 i am using again for this next amazing adventure.He is so helpful, professional & knowledgeable & it's great to reconnect with him for this next trip !! This time i will be going to " The Golden Triangle" Rajasthan,Ranthambore National Park with a 3 night extension to Varanasi at the end of my trip. As with my Keralan trip for 12 nights late last year my itinerary is amazing ...culture, history, colour, diversity & so much more !! I think very highly of ALT & as a solo female traveller i feel reassured knowing all my flights, accomodation, train journey this time & my own driver(s) throughout my trip are all being taken care of by Gavin who regularly keeps me updated by email or phone conversations.I genuinely feel really excited about my next "adventure" in december !!

Great experience on our recent trip to Kerala.On the whole we had a wonderful holiday. It’s a very beautiful place indeed and the holiday organisation was fantastic. Starting with the hotels - amazing! Pretty much all of them exceeding our expectations. The driver Ajeesh Kumar was totally dependable and thoughtful and went above and beyond in taking care of us. The only bit that we found less than perfect was the boat trip on the backwaters. The team were kind but it was simply far too hot at this time of year not to have air conditioning during the day. All in all we would highly recommend this trip!

Sri Lanka 11 days tour and Maldives

Just recently came back from a tour of Sri Lanka and relaxation in Maldives and really had an exceptional time. It was flawless From booking to getting home. Booking with Sheena was super easy she got us exactly what we wanted straight away. The holiday itself exceeded expectations starting with the meet and greet at the airport with the ALT rep and our tour guide/ driver Kasun who I can’t praise enough he did an exceptional job and he knew everyone ensuring we had a first class experience with the best people and was very supportive all the way round. Sri Lanka is a beautiful country with beautiful people. All The hotels we stayed were excellent. We used ALT last year and was impressed so I would definitely use this company again.

Extremely poor

Extremely poor. We've been working with Jazz. He was very responsive when we were booking. We paid the deposit. Then a much cheaper option became available from another vendor. I asked Jazz if they'd match it and his responsiveness has dropped from without a couple of hours to more than a couple of weeks, between emails. Quite disappointed. Update: 5th April 2024. I asked for my deposit back because they'd effectively stopped communicating with me. They initially said they would refund it, then didn't. I asked my credit card to overturn it, and they've been telling me that they want to give me my money back whilst arguing with my credit card company to keep it. Overall, an extremely dishonest organisation.

Brilliant Kerala solo traveler holiday in Feb 24 with ALT. Itinerary was spot on for the 14 nights stay with a great driver Bijou 😊. A few minor issues with hotel accommodation given but sorted out very quickly. Look forward to booking again for another great holiday with this company.

ALT are worth 5 stars!

From the first day to the last day, ALT were absolutely brilliant! They answered all my questions promptly and professionally. They planned our bespoke tour of India, booked flights and hotels, guides and drivers. The drivers and guides were always on time and introduced themselves to us and are a credit to the company, especially Naresh, our driver for 7 days. Daniel Taylor, what can I say about this person...... I've been using Daniel for multiple trips now from Qatar to Maldives to Bahrain and even on to Singapore in the future. Nothing is to much and even with my recent gulf air issues he was there to make our journey the best it could be from another companies failure. Shame on you gulf air but thank you Daniel for ensuring the hotel and transfer still went ahead with no fault. Looking forward to our next chat which usually costs me a small mortgage lol

Sri Lanka - amazing 12 night holiday

We have just returned from 12 night tour in Sri Lanka staying in 6 hotels during our trip. I will admit when we first booked I was concerned as the booking process felt like a hard sell, but I knew the price was good so went ahead and booked. Now we have been on the holiday those concerns have gone and I would definitely book with Affordable Luxury again and I am already looking for our next trip. The holiday was more than I had hoped for. From being greeted at the airport to returning to the airport to fly home, it was an amazing experience throughout. The tour guide was great and went out of his way to add extra experiences in our tour. The hotels selected were all fantastic, 5* really meant 5*. Sri Lanka is a beautiful country and despite our tiring and hectic schedule I’d do it all again. The extra touches such as the photo album we were gifted before we left, containing pictures taken during our tour was such a thoughtful idea and really appreciated.

a wonderful experience in Kerela

We have just about completed a wonderful trip around Kerala. We have visited Kochi (Brunton Boatyard) , Munnar (fragrant nature) Thekkady (spice village) Alleppy (blue Jelly houseboat) Kolam and Kovalam (both Leela Hotels) We have been eating evening meals and breakfast at all our hotels and all the meals have been wonderful. most importantly we have been treated so kindly by helpful and friendly staff everywhere and in particular had the most brilliant driver who has gone above and beyond to ensure we were safe and saw everything we needed A great trip and I will try my best to use this company again

Very good, fair price and great driver!

In the main the service has been very good. There has been many changes to flights for varies reasons one which I had to challenge but was corrected. All the hotels have been very good, clean and friendly. Our driver Dileep was fantastic! We are half way through our stay, but nearly finished with the touring. Just flight to Goa and then two more weeks 🙏👍

Great range of trips, and brilliant advisers

The website shows their great range of destinations and holiday types. I phoned to clarify, and the adviser was incredibly knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. I was impressed that on a private escorted tour, we can choose any departure date. The prices are very competitive, and whilst we don't need interest free installments, for some people, this will enable them to have a dream holiday. I have been very impressed by the booking process too. Our Travel Adviser Peter, was very helpful in answering all my questions, and telling me what we could expect from our trip. We've booked, and cant wait for our Kerala trip in Feb 25.All the TrustPilot reviews are fantastic, and I can see why.

Just back from 14 days in India

Just back from 14 days in India, the booking was easy and everything went smoothly with that. 7 nights approx on the Golden Triangle tour, excellent 5 star hotels, transfers went to plan, and we were fortunate to see a tiger quite close to our jeep. Everything was enjoyable, plenty of sightseeing and a bit of free time. Definitely needed a guide or you would miss out on things. Flight then down to Kerala, met by ALT’s partners there, travelbugindia, all went smoothly, transfers, sightseeing and excellent hotels. A really good overall service, would recommend this holiday as a real adventure.

Babu…..what an absolute star!

We had an amazing & busy week in Kerala. We had Babi as our driver from when we arrived in the early hours of Sunday morning to when he dropped us at the airport the following Friday. He drove well over 500 miles taking us from Kochin to Mennar, Appellay and Varkala and made sure that he pointed out all the points of interest along the way and answered all our many questions!! He is a credit to the company and all drivers - an absolute star and would absolutely recommend him to anyone. Thanks Babu ☺️

In some of the countries on this list, a five-star hotel costs less than $50 per night, leaving you even more money for that inexpensive Michelin-starred meal.
