Hi, below you will see a very very short version of what you will see if you visit Formula and take the factory tour. I apologize for not having detailed descriptions of what model boats are in the pics, but its very hard for me to remember whats what now that i am looking at the pictures. If you wish to reply to this post, please do not use the quote option. Enjoy ;D Here you see the hull molds for a few models and then gelcoat being applied.

Top deck in mold and them removed. Hard top in mold and removed and assembly of hard top. What you dont see is how the molds or plugs were made. Thats in the RnD area (off limits to photos) and all is done by hand. Shaping, sanding polishing to get the molds just right for that mirror finish. Very time consuming.

Large Top deck PC-Yacht cant remember.JPG

Here you see core mat and fiberglass mat installed into the hull and top deck. The core mat stops the glass fiber from showing thru the gelcoat. Also a sub component assy area.

Hull glassed.JPG

Various hull getting fitted with stringer/support systems for bedding, sofas etc... Picture of sub assy getting chop glass applied and then rolled to make smooth. First pic is the fiberglass stringer component for Fastech and SS. 4th pic is support system/stringers. This design actually kinda floats and is not completely glassed to the hull.

Fastech Fiber Stringer assy.JPG

During set up of hull and top deck, other parts of the boats are built in components in different areas of the factory. once the boat gets to the line, all these parts are ready to be installed on the line.

Component assy area.JPG

Now the lines start. Each line has 2 sides. i think there was 6 lines in the small boat area. and 3 in the large boat area in different part of building. Notice that the bottom and top go down the line next to each other. after all components are installed on both top and bottom, at the end of the line they get put together. Each line does more than 1 type boat.

Now the production lines start.JPG

Here you see a shot down the line, then ready for test tank, in the tank, then masked and into the paint booth. once out of the booth its buffing time

End of the line. QC time and wrapped for shipment. The end. This is just a snapshot of a 2 hour tour. These pictures do not justify what you see in real life.

STEVE, I AM VERY IMPRESSED AT THE GREAT JOB YOU HAVE DONE PUTTING ALL THESE PICTURES IN PERSPECTIVE. IT MUST HAVE TAKEN ALOT OF TIME TO ACCOMPLISH THIS. THANKS AGAIN FOR THE GREAT WORK.

Hi guys, Virtual factory tours are a way for people to experience a factory without physically being there. They typically take place online, often through a website or a video conferencing platform. Durin g a virtual factory tour, you may see videos or pictures of the factory's interior, hear explanations of how the machinery works, and learn about the products being produced. The virtual tour may be guided, meaning that a person will be leading you through the tour and answering any questions you might have. Alternatively, you might be able to explore the factory on your own and interact with different elements of the tour at your own pace
