The booking by telephone was simple and we were pleased with the advice given. However, just a small gripe. Our agent gave us a direct line number but this did not work when we tried to confirm something on the following morning. However, we phoned the original number and someone else dealt with our query.

I was looking for a Norway cruise for August'24 to be able to join my son, his wife and our granddaughter, who had already booked. I phoned Iglu Cruises and spoke with Guy Barry who was very pleasant and helpful giving me all the options and prices. Although it was available to find these options and book on-line I prefer to speak with an actual person, and was able to find the cabin and deck we wanted to be near to my family. Guy was as also able to arrange this at the on-line price and saved us a little extra money. He was also able to give us much more info than you get by booking on-line. It's much more personal and he was very kind and nice to talk to. I would recommend booking with Iglu Criuses. We have previously booked with them for a Two week Panama Canal cruise and South America at a very good price at the time.

You cannot go wrong booking with Iglu. They offer a genuine discount and guarantee best price. You can book directly and easily but if you need to deal with an advisor, they are very efficient and helpful. Ashlyn dealt with our booking extremely well.

Mike Lane was my advisor for Iglu Cruise he was very friendly I have gone through few options before my booking and he made it very clear without any hesitation Mike had an excellent customer support service and he was very helpful he offered a guarantee best price. I should have done the booking online but thought it’s better to talk to an advisor and clear all doubts. Mike dealt with my booking extremely well and very efficiently. Not impressed at all so far

Not impressed at all so far. Can’t get hold of them & don’t seem to be interested in getting in contact with us. We want to add additional bits to our holiday cruise but can’t get the finer details out of them . Wish we had gone to our local agency in town. Just want to know where we stand & how much additional vicarage are.

Efficient but difficult paying with AMEX

False Advertising

Finally got through....so when I booked the early saver last year, I was asked in the booking process where I wanted to be on the ship, we had a balcony room and as it was the Fjords cruise my mum wanted to have a front view....so I chose the front of the ship....eg rooms beginning with 101, this week we had our room allocated and we are on the side! I spoke to Mark on the live chat and he said that I had been on the front but clicked for an auto upgrade! this is clearly not an upgrade as it states half way through a booking (which i pretended to book) that if you do not pay extra you will be given the cheapest rooms which are on the side near the front or back, ....I am so annoyed as this is my mums bucket list cruise and she will not ever get to go here ever again....we booked Iglu as they had such great reviews but sadly I am putting a bad one on about them....Now I know they will come on and defend themselves but I clearly have not had an upgrade as i have been moved to the cheaper rooms ......so disappointed.

1 dead, several injured in Honolulu after shuttle bus crashes outside cruise terminal

One person has died and multiple people were injured in a shuttle bus crash in Honolulu , Hawaii on Friday.

"Nine Carnival Miracle guests were hit by a shuttle bus in the transportation area outside the Honolulu cruise terminal on Friday morning," Matt Lupoli, senior manager of the Carnival Cruise Line , told USA TODAY. "Sadly, one guest has died from her injuries. She was traveling with her husband, who was also injured and is expected to recover."

The shuttle bus crashed into pedestrians and two concrete barriers at the terminal. The shuttle bus driver mistakenly stepped on the gas pedal instead of the break when they attempted to stop the bus from moving, Hawaii News Now reported.

All of the victims were taken to local hospitals and are being treated for their injuries. The victims are in different conditions ranging from serious to stable, the news outlet said.

"Members of the Carnival Care Team are assisting the guests. Our thoughts are with the guests affected and their loved ones," Lupoli said.

USA TODAY has reached out to the  Honolulu Police Department and the Honolulu Emergency Medical Services for comment.

Eyewitnesses share their experience after the Honolulu shuttle bus crash, reports state

Eyewitness told KITV Island News that the relaxing Friday morning turned deadly after the shuttle bus crash.

"We heard the tire of a vehicle screeching," Lillian Le, a visitor from Denver told the broadcast station. "We looked and it was a bus running over people and hit against a wall."

An employee at the complex said he has never experienced this before.

"We saw the first responders coming, it was substantial, probably about 10 a.m., four or five ambulances, two fire trucks, ten cop cars, looked pretty bad - it's really distressing," Mark Elwell, an employee at the complex wher the accident occurred. "I've worked here 21 years, I've never seen anything to this magnitude, really sad to see, obviously people were hurt pretty bad to be taken away by ambulance."

Jessica Lani Rich, a visitor at the Aloha Society of Hawaii told KITV Island News that the woman who died was celebrating her 46th wedding anniversary with her husband.
