”Vi är inte samma personer som vi var när vi satte oss längst bak i en turnébuss och körde mot Båstad den 7e juli 2016. Vi skulle kunna skriva en bok om alla äventyr vi har fått uppleva, tack vare att vi av kärleksfulla och naiva anledningar bestämde oss för att starta ett band. När man ser sig själv i spegeln varje dag, är det svårt att se hur man själv förändras. Livet händer vare sig man vill det eller inte. Och det händer alltid just nu. Vad det nu än betyder.

För oss har det alltid handlat om att se framåt. Nästa låt, nästa sommar, nästa spelning och utmaning. Den inställningen har tagit oss längre än vad vi någonsin hade kunnat drömma om. Men det är först nu, när vi ser oss själva i spegeln. Som vi faktiskt förstår att det snart har gått åtta år sedan den där varma morgonen i juli. Vissa har hoppat av på vägen, andra sitter fortfarande stadigt kvar. Förhoppningsvis kan gamla, nya och nuvarande medresenärer samlas och fira att turnébussen inte har stannat till riktigt än. För Folkets park, Trädgårdsföreningen och slutligen vår gamla vän Zinkensdamm. Efter åtta år har det äntligen blivit dags, för oss att springa in i varann”. Hov1, mars 2024.

SF Studios , Scandinavia’s oldest film studio, is set to start introducing concert films to theaters, kicking off with “Hov1 Forever” which follows the popular Swedish band Hov1 across their sold-out summer tour.

Hov1, whose tour spanned 27 cities in Sweden and Norway, was Sweden’s most streamed artist in 2023. Portraying Hov1 members Ludwig Kronstrand, Noel Flike, Dante Lindhe, and Axel Liljefors, the movie will show the band performing their biggest hits on stage and engaging with fans, as well as behind-the-scenes glimpse into their off-stage lives, discussions and music production.

The Swedish band broke through in 2017 with its self-titled debut album “Hov1” and went on to release three more chart-topping albums: Gudarna på Västerbron, Vindar på Mars, and Barn av vår tid. All have achieved No. 1 status, winning millions of fans across the Nordics. The band also won seven Rockbjörnen Awards, six P3 Gold awards, three Grammy nominations, and a record number of official number-one singles in Swedish music history.

SF Studios brings Hov1 to the cinemas

Renowned Swedish band Hov1 with band members Ludwig Kronstrand, Noel Flike, Dante Lindhe, and Axel Liljefors, today have announced the release of their summer 2023 tour as a concert film titled Hov1 Forever , that gives a rare insight into the band's life, friendship and the strong relationship with the fans. The film, offering a great concert experience, was announced alongside the release of movie tickets. Hov1's sold-out summer tour spanned across 27 cities in Sweden and Norway and, for the third time, positioned them as Sweden's most streamed artist in 2023. With Hov1 Forever , SF Studios will now for the first time introduce concert films to the theatres, bringing audiences closer to their idols on the big screen. The film will be shown in Swedish cinemas from January 4-14, with SF Studios handling distribution across the Nordic region.

“ Hov1 Forever will be around when we are no longer here. So whatever happens, it makes us Hov1 forever. And we hope it can give our fans as much hope and love as they give us every day. Hov1 Forever is a journey through the band’s 2023 summer tour across Sweden and Norway, capturing electrifying performances in 27 sold-out cities. The audience will witness Hov1’s dynamic stage presence, performing their biggest hits and engaging with fans. Additionally, the film offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into their off-stage discussions and music production, presenting a personal narrative that brings fans closer to the band than ever before, coupled with a great dose of musical nostalgia.
