These adjustable coilover shocks have proven their strength and longevity for years on end and they keep going. These shocks offer the best ride quality and handling. They increase suspension travel and dramatically increase the capabilities of your Tacoma’s front suspension. These coilovers are meant to be installed with an aftermarket uniball upper control arm kit to ensure the proper amount of wheel travel and to prevent premature ball joint wear. Recommended tire size 285/75R16, wheel 16X8 with 5″ back spacing.

Icon Vehicle Dynamics 0-3.5" Stage 3 Suspension For Tacoma (2005-2023)

ICON Vehicle Dynamics Toyota Tacoma suspension systems are designed with maximum performance and the serious driver in mind. ICON engineers’ primary focus is to increase wheel travel and damping ability, which translates into outstanding vehicle control and ride quality both on and off-road. The Stage 3 system includes vehicle-specific tuned 2.5” Extended travel coilover shocks featuring an internal reservoir for exceptional cooling properties and ICON-engineered Eibach coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” through the range of travel. These coilovers are also height adjustable from 0-3.5” of lift on 2005-2015 models or 0-2.75” on 2016-UP models allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. When used with an ICON upper control arm, these extended travel coilovers add increased droop travel to the front suspension. ICON 2.0 Aluminum Series Remote Reservoir rear shocks utilize a vehicle-specific valving that balances the performance of the truck from front to rear. The ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2005-UP Toyota Tacoma 4WD/PreRunner Stage 3 suspension system is an excellent choice for those drivers looking to enhance the capabilities of their pickup on the road as well as in the dirt.

This system features upper control arms with ICON's patented   Delta Joint. The Delta Joint   is a heavy-duty high angle ball joint that combines the durability of a ball joint with the performance characteristics of a traditional uniball. While the industry standard uniball does a great job of allowing the control arms of a vehicle to articulate with little bind, they do have an inherent weakness that leaves more to be desired when used in a daily driven application - exposure to the elements. The Delta Joint   features a zinc plated housing providing the first layer of corrosion resistance, while a tough grease seal keeps potentially harmful elements out of the inner workings of the joint. Metal on metal construction and a greaseable design increase the longevity of the Delta Joint   while at the same time allowing for noise-free operation. What makes the Delta Joint   unique is that it brings the best of both worlds to ICON upper control arms with features that make it more robust than a uniball, and at the same time capable of greater angularity than a typical ball joint.

King 2.5 Extended Travel Coilovers

The front of Tacoma's use A-Arms with a large motion ratio so large shocks are required to provide off-road capability. King 2.5 coilovers provide the diameter necessary to make the damping force required to prevent your Tacoma from being too bouncy. The remote reservoirs decrease the operating pressure for a smoother ride and longer life span. The extended travel allows for lift heights up to 2.5" without the suspension overextending. King 2.5 Remote Reservoir Rear Shocks

Toyota Tacoma's carrying heavy loads or seeing serious off-road use should use a large diameter 2.5 shocks for greater durability and tunability. 

Compression Adjusters

Compression adjusters are useful when changing weight (light DD, heavy weekend warrior), changing terrain (tight handling on-road, soft off-road), and for ultimate control over your ride quality (handling vs harshness). Low-speed compression damping adjustment controls handling vs harshness on washboard and gravel roads. High-speed compression controls damping on speed bumps, potholes, and whoops. Fox 2.0's are available with low-speed Compression (LSC) adjustment. Fox 2.5's are available with separate high and low-speed compression adjustments (DSC). 

R4T (Deaver) Add-A-Leaf

Our R4T AAL provides a 1.5" lift to the rear of your 05+ Tacoma at stock weight in the rear. This is the perfect lift for a daily driver with no weight in the rear.

Icon Add-A-Leaf

Icon Add-A-Leaf rear springs provide up to a 1.5 lift to the rear of your 05+ Toyota Tacoma at a stock weight in the rear. For maximum lift use all three leaves and leave the stock overload. For slightly less lift the factory overload leaf can be removed.

Icon RXT Leaf Pack

The Icon RXT rear leaf pack offers better ride quality, off-road performance, and more travel than the mini-pack. The Icon Tacoma RXT leaf pack is user-configurable to three lift heights & spring rates so it can be customized to suit your needs while providing up to 12" of travel.   Lift height compared to stock: + 2.625” (unloaded) lift height over stock with 600 lbs in bed: + 1.125”.

Deaver Leaf Pack

The Deaver leaf pack offers great ride quality and great weight capacity. Deaver has been around for so long so it has been tested and proven to be one of the best.  Stage 1: +2" w/ 0-300lbs. Stage 2: +2" w/ 400-600lbs. Stage 3: +2" w/ 700-1000lbs.

The ICON Vehicle Dynamics coilover for the 1996-2004 Toyota Tacoma is now World Famous for its on and off-road performance! Tacoma owners agree that the ICON # 58615 Extended Travel Coilover shocks are the best adjustable coilovers available. These coilovers provide a user adjustable increase in vehicle height from 0 to 3" inches. Please note, 4x4 owners should limit height to around 2" inches over stock height to prevent CV boot issues unless running a Front Differential Drop (available separately). This ICON Coilover is custom built in-house by Icon Vehicle Dynamics and is simply the finest riding and handling replacement coilover you can bolt-on your 6-lug Tacoma.

The ICON Vehicle Dynamics # 58615 Extended Travel Coilover is designed for use on Toyota Tacoma 6-Lug Trucks and will fit 1996-2004 model years. This coilover will NOT fit 5-Lug Tacoma models. The ICON coilover features rod ends on both ends to allow for a bind free range of motion as the suspension cycles. If you would like to put together a complete Toyota Tacoma suspension system you may need additional components. Rear suspension upgrades are also available. Icon Vehicle Dynamics has their Add-A-Pack Leaf Spring kit, part number 51100. When using the ICON Add-A-Pack Spring Kit you will disassemble the factory spring pack and rebuild them using the multi-leaf Icon Add-A-Leaf Pack. Don't let the Add-A-Pack name fool you... the ride quality has to be experienced to be believed. The ride is great, if it wasn't Icon wouldn't build it and PerformanceLifts.com wouldn't sell it!

Important! PerformanceLifts.com recommends that 4wd Tacoma owners with automatic hubs do NOT raise their Tacoma more than 2.0 inches beyond stock height! Automatic hub equipped Tacoma trucks with more than 2.0 inches of front lift can damage the CV boots and cause premature CV failure. If you own a 2wd Tacoma PreRunner you can easily get up to 3" of lift above stock height with these Icon Vehicle Dynamics # 58610 coilover shocks.

These replacement coilovers are designed to fit all 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 model year Toyota Tacoma 4x4 and Tacoma PreRunner 2wd 6-lug Tacoma trucks. Installation is relatively easy and takes most customers between 1.5 to 3 hours. A front end alignment is strongly recommended when installing any suspension lift. ICON recommends this Extended Travel coilover only be installed on vehicles equipped with Aftermarket Upper Control Arms designed for use with longer extended travel coilovers.
