Rockers Bryan Adams and Joan Jett jam onstage.

We’re as excited as the time we got our “first real six string.”

That’s because “Summer of ’69” rocker Bryan Adams is touring with “Bad Reputation” group Joan Jett and The Blackhearts all summer long as part of their upcoming 26-concert “So Happy It Hurts Tour” that will take the pair all over North America from June through August.

Now, that’s a lineup so nice it’ll make you exclaim “I Love Rock and Roll.”:

The summer tour, which is set to stop by New York City’s Madison Square Garden on June 9 and Buffalo’s KeyBank Center on June 13, will serve as a proper introduction to fans of Adams’ Grammy-nominated 2022 album “So Happy It Hurts” that shares a name with the tour.

As for new material from Adams’ co-headliners, Jett and The Blackhearts haven’t released an album made up of original songs since 2013’s “Unvarnished.”

However, it should be noted that the 2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees did put an acoustic spin on 25 of their biggest hits in last year’s “Changeup.”

And if you can’t wait to get your hands on tickets, we have good news .

Although inventory isn’t available on Ticketmaster until Friday, Feb. 3 fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats  before seats are officially on sale.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

Bryan Adams and Joan Jett 2023 concert schedule

Starting June 6, the ’80s-tastic tour will officially launch at Baltimore’s CFG Bank Arena .

The following night, June 7, the pair will play Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center .

Along the way, Adams and Jett will, ahem, jet to locales all over the U.S. like Boston (June 10), Cleveland (June 15), Nashville (June 17), Denver (July 6) and Los Angeles (July 29).

Finally, on Aug. 3, the run will come to a close at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena .

A complete calendar including all tour dates, venues, show start times and links to buy tickets can be found here .

Bryan Adams solo 2023 concert schedule

Prior to the summer arena tour, Adams will fulfill his Las Vegas residency duties and perform at the Wynn’s Encore Theater on Feb. 3 , Feb. 4 and Feb .5 .

His final Sin City gig falls on the night of the Grammys but don’t fret — Adams isn’t going to the Awards Show.

“Work is work. I mean, I’ve got 40 people in my tour, so I want to make sure I keep them in hot food and shoes, you know?” he said earlier this week.

Joan Jett solo 2023 concert schedule

Jett and The Blackhearts will also headline a handful of shows before teaming up with Adams.

Currently, she’s set to play Jacksonville’s Florida Theatre on March 3.

After that, you can find the “Crimson and Clover” group in Coconut Creek, FL (March 9), Pala, CA (April 14), Highland, CA (April 21), Oroville, CA (April 22) and Helotes, TX (April 28).

Joan Jet is an icon and a role model for young girls that desire to be in music. Joan has overcome a lot for women in rock music over the years and continues to do so. She is absolutely inspirational and amazing. I have loved her since I was a little girl and finally this summer I was able to see her at Summerfest in Milwaukee WI and she was fantastic. She looks amazing and sounds even better.

I honestly did hope during her show that Dave Grohl would come out and drum for her at some point but unfortunately he did not, however she did play a new song that she wrote with Dave and I really hope they collaborate more.

She was so incredible when she played with Nirvana at the Rock in Roll Hall of Fame induction of Nirvana and I just want more. I am crossing my fingers that she comes back to Milwaukee next year for Summerfest or even just for an independent show later this year would be awesome. My best friend went with me and he has had a crush on her since he was a teen. He was able to get up to the second row during the concert where a group of nice young girls allowed him to step in and take a fantastic picture of her. We were so happy to get to hear her live. Keep rocking, Joan!

ABOUT JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS

Joan Jett grew up during a time when rock ‘n’ roll was off limits to girls and women, but as a teenager, she promptly blew the door to the boys’ club right off its hinges. After forming her band the Blackhearts in 1979, with whom Jett has become a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, she has had eight platinum and gold albums and nine Top 40 singles, including the classics “Bad Reputation,” “I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll,” “I Hate Myself For Loving You,” and “Crimson and Clover.” With a career that has spanned music, film, television, Broadway, and humanitarianism, Joan Jett remains a potent force and inspiration to generations of fans worldwide. As a producer, she has overseen seminal albums by Bikini Kill, and the Germs’ LA punk masterpiece ‘GI.’ Jett and Kenny Laguna (her longtime producer and music partner) co-founded Blackheart Records from the trunk of Kenny’s Cadillac after rejections from no less than 23 labels. 40 years later, Blackheart is a thriving entertainment company producing music, film and television, and continues to champion emerging bands. Joan Jett and the Blackhearts continue to tour the world with headlining shows alongside fellow rock legends like The Who, Green Day, Heart, and Foo Fighters. ‘Bad Reputation,’ a documentary about Jett’s life, premiered to critical acclaim at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Following up on the bands 2022 release Changeup, their first-ever acoustic album, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts EP Mindsets will be a RSD First vinyl release on 11/24. Mindsets is available to stream now.  For more information visit www.joanjett.com.

ABOUT MORGAN WADE

One of Nashville’s fastest-rising and most critically acclaimed young stars, Morgan Wade released her much-anticipated sophomore album, Psychopath , Aug. 25 via Sony Music Nashville. Possessed with a raw and unflinching voice anchored by a perfect tinge of twang; the rare ability to pen honest portraits of some of life’s most precious and painful and unpredictable moments; and an onstage vulnerability that so seamlessly breaks down the wall between fan and artist, Wade has quickly made her mark on the country music scene — and the music world at large. Her stunning 2021 debut album, Reckless , was hailed as a critical triumph; it topped Rolling Stone ’s Best Country and Americana Albums of 2021, with New York Times noting Wade “sounds like she’s singing from the depths of history.” In 2022, Wade was nominated as the Emerging Act of the Year at the Americana Music Honors & Awards; in 2023, Wade was nominated for New Female Artist of the Year by the Academy of Country Music and performed at major-market festivals including Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits.

While Reckless , and particularly its momentous lead single “Wilder Days,” busted down the doors and introduced Wade to a wider listenership, Psychopath is an astounding follow-up statement: the 13-track LP was crafted with the help of some of Nashville’s most extraordinary musical talents, from A-list songwriters (Julia Michaels, Natalie Hemby, Liz Rose, Lori McKenna) to studio musicians as well as Wade’s longtime producer Sadler Vaden. Most excitingly, Psychopath finds Wade peeling back layers of her psyche like never before. “I realized the more authentic you are and the more you pour yourself into your songs, and most importantly if you’re being honest, people will connect to that,” Wade says.  “I want every song to get the credit it deserves.”

Alanis Morissette announces summer 2024 concert tour, including a return trip to Milwaukee

joan jett tour 2023

Singer/songwriter/cultural touchstone Alanis Morissette announced a 31-city summer tour Thursday, including a July 28 concert at American Family Insurance Amphitheater in Milwaukee.

Joan Jett & the Blackhearts and Morgan Wade are also on the bill.

The new tour follows Morissette's 2021-'22 tour that marked the 25th anniversary of her breakthrough album "Jagged Little Pill." That tour included a July 2022 stop at the amphitheater, which went on despite thunderstorms that canceled other area shows. That 2022 concert was Morissette's first Milwaukee appearance since 2008.

Milwaukee music fans rarely have that long to wait to see Joan Jett. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer is practically a local: She rocked the stage as one of the openers for Day 2 of this summer's Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival in Veterans Park, and in 2022, she and her band played a scorching 50-minute set before headliners Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard at a rock-fest at American Family Field.

The general on-sale date for tickets to the Morissette concert is Nov. 17, available at alanis.com, Ticketmaster.com and the American Family Insurance Amphitheater box office. A variety of presales start Nov. 14. Information on ticket prices wasn't immediately available.
