Wonderful time last night ! All hard working people That were there to entertain the people that spent hard earned money to be there , they all , the band that is , knew this and showed their appreciation by putting on a splendid display of their god given talent , they proved to everyone there last night that they honed this talent . At the end of the show Mr Bonamassa took time at his bus , took selfies and chatted with a handful of fans , we spoke with other band members and found them all down to earth and very approachable. I first had the privilege 15-17 yrs ago of seeing Joe in Santa Cruz , Calif. last night it had been 7 times at his concerts 6 times here in Scotland , I will be seeing him again and again !

I've seen Joe about five times now and this was well below his usual standard.
He played very few of his older numbers and left most of the audience bewildered and very disappointed. he seemed to be promoting his new album that isn't even coming out until September this year. By then most of us will have forgotten what it sounds like. However, it seems Joe is leaving his Blues music behind and going more rock. This, for me, is a no no!! if this is the road he is going down then I wont be buying his albums in the future and will certainly not spend the money going to see him. The couple sat next to us early as they were so disappointed.
To summarise: very disappointing concert. No one was singing along as on one knew the songs he was playing.
An OK show, but not worth the 2.5hr hassle of getting there and back (or the £100/ticket)! Only played two of the numbers I knew, the rest was new stuff. Why do these people assume we want new stuff? We don't, we want to hear live the songs we've become fond of over the years. Excellent musicians when playing together, but too much 'look what I can do' solos, which actually weren't that great. Love Blues of Desperation album and know it intimately, was hoping to hear more of it live. Sorry, won't be rushing to book tickets next time as I did this.

Photo: Haluk Gurer
As he gears up for the release of his new studio album Blues Deluxe Vol. 2 and a packed run of performances across the U.S. in the coming months, the three-time GRAMMY-nominated guitarist and 26x Billboard chart-topper Joe Bonamassa has announced that he will return to the road in Spring 2024 with a 19-date U.S. Tour , that will bring him up and down the east coast. Kicking off in Louisville, KY on February 19th , Bonamassa’s 2024 Spring Tour will include performances in historic venues like the Count Basie Center For The Arts in Red Bank, NJ on February 23rd and the Saenger Theatre in Pensacola, FL on March 7th, before culminating at the brand-new outdoor concert venue The Sound in Clearwater, FL on March 16th. For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit Here

Bonamassa’s spring 2024 performances will conclude with the Keeping the Blues Alive at Sea IX , set for March 18-24 , departing from Miami, Florida to Cozumel, Mexico. The festival line-up includes Grace Potter, The Marshall Tucker Band, John Oates, Jimmy Vivino, King King , and a special performance by Black Country Communion , Bonamassa’s supergroup with Glenn Hughes (DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH), Jason Bonham (LED ZEPPELIN) and Derek Sherinian (DREAM THEATER, ALICE COOPER, BILLY IDOL). KTBA at Sea is one of the largest fundraisers for Bonamassa’s Keeping The Blues Alive Foundation , aiding in its mission to promote music education by providing grants and resources to schools and musicians in need.
Having just earned a remarkable 26th #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart for his sprawling and extensive live concert film and album Tales Of Time , Bonamassa’s upcoming album Blues Deluxe Vol. 2 finds him returning to his roots and giving new life to the classic tracks that have informed his own artistry. Coming twenty years after the release of his best-selling album Blues Deluxe, which celebrated what the US government had declared “the year of the blues” with a mix of originals and reinterpretations of classic songs, the new album finds the superstar taking stock of how far he and the genre have come with two new originals and eight new covers spanning some of the most important names in the blues – from Bobby “Blue” Bland and Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac to Albert King . Listen to the latest single, a rambunctious rendition of Guitar Slim’s 1953 release, “Well, I Done Got Over It,” and watch the official music video, directed and edited by Rob Bondurant.
Bonamassa’s 2023 summer run will include his debut appearance at Hollywood Bowl on Wednesday, August 9th. The exclusive, one-night-only concert experience alongside an orchestra will be recorded for his next live concert film. Then, the hardest working bluesman in show business will begin his U.S. Fall Tour on October 23rd at The Cannon Center in Memphis, TN, before crisscrossing the country and capping the year at the guitar-shaped Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL on December 2nd.

Legendary rock band announces new tour dates after singer’s injury

A fractured larynx and vocal cord damage are no joke for a hard-rock singer to recover from. Especially a 76-year-old frontman with a still-big voice, like Steven Tyler .
Nearly a year after Aerosmith put the brakes on a long-gestating farewell tour just a few shows in after Tyler injured his voice during a Sept. 9, 2023 show at a New York arena, the band’s about to be, ahem, back in the saddle.
The “Peace Out Tour” will resume September 20 in Pittsburgh. The 40-date arena tour runs through February 26 in Buffalo and includes a New Year’s Eve show in the band’s hometown of Boston. Complete list of tour dates at aerosmith.com .
Aerosmith’s decades of hits include “Dream On,” “Walk This Way,” “Sweet Emotion,” “Back in the Saddle,” “Janie’s Got A Gun,” “Crazy” and “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing.”
The band features Tyler, guitarists Joe Perry and Brad Whitford and bassist Tom Hamilton.
Unlike many classic rock groups, Aerosmith’s original lineup remained intact through most of their history. However in recent years, original drummer Joey Kramer has been replaced onstage by John Douglas, Kramer’s former drum tech. Buck Johnson , an Alabama native who also tours with Brother Cane and Hollywood Vampires, is Aerosmith’s touring keyboardist/backing vocalist .
Blues-rockers The Black Crowes , known for ‘90s hits like “Jealous Again” and “Remedy,” are the support act for all dates of Aerosmith’s “Peace Out Tour.”
The Black Crowes previously opened for Aerosmith on the Crowes’ first-ever big tour, back in 1990. Led by brothers Chris and Rich Robinson , on vocals and guitar, respectively, Black Crowes recently released “Happiness Bastards,” their first album of all-original songs in 15 years .
Aerosmith’s classic albums include their 1973 self-titled debut, 1975′s “Toys in the Attic,” 1976 release “Rocks,” 1987 comeback LP “Permanent Vacation” and ‘93 mega-seller “Get a Grip.” Aerosmith’s most recent album was “Music from Another Dimension” from 2012.
