Summarize this article for a 10 year old

Journey is the third and final studio album by British rock band Kingdom Come, known as Arthur Brown's Kingdom Come [1] outside the UK. After the band featured drastically different styles on their first two albums, and after several line-up changes, band leader Arthur Brown worked the band towards a new direction for Journey . The album was the first album in history to use a drum machine responsible for all the percussive sounds on the album. The drum machine in question was the Bentley Rhythm Ace, manufactured by Ace Tone . Although the band had commented the album was entirely based on the drum machine, the band attempted to, in rock and electronic terms, create an album that was the closest they could get "to a string quartet ". The album features other experimental techniques, including using a triangle to guide guitar playing and extensive use of Mellotron and synthesizers from new member Victor Peraino, who replaced Michael "Goodge" Harris early on production.

The album was recorded in November 1972 in Rockfield Studios and released in 1973 by Polydor Records . The album was not a popular release, although has gone on to be regarded as a groundbreaking and innovative album that was ahead of its time. Although overlooked upon release, it has received generally positive retrospective reviews from critics. Alan Holmes of Freq said that " Journey was so far ahead of its time that you have to keep checking the sleeve to make sure that it really does say 1973 and not 1983" and that the album was "not only Arthur Brown’s masterpiece, but also one of the truly great albums of the seventies." Arthur Brown’s Kingdom Come: Journey (1973)

If you’ve been brought up on 1960s psychedelic rock, you’ve probably heard “Fire”, the 1968 classic from The Crazy World of Arthur Brown. That band featured Arthur Brown, of course on vocals, as organist Vincent Crane (later of Atomic Rooster) and drummer Carl Palmer (later briefly of Atomic Rooster before joining Emerson, Lake & Palmer, one of the biggest names in prog rock). By 1969, the Crazy World of Arthur Brown was no more. A second album was recorded and scrapped (but later surfaced years later).

So Arthur Brown formed a new band called Kingdom Come (not to be confused with that Led Zeppelin clone band from the 1980s), in which he explored more spacy progressive rock. Already Kingdom Come released two albums, Galactic Zoo Dossier (1971) and Kingdom Come (1972) before releasing Journey. I have not heard their first two albums, so I can’t comment there, but Journey really took me by surprise.

While the Hammond organ dominated the Crazy World of Arthur Brown, the dominant instruments on Journey were the Mellotron, ARP 2600 and VCS-3 synthesizers, with some great guitar work, and no real drums. Arthur Brown uses the Bentley Rhythm Ace drum machine on this album, which sounds like a cheap piece of crap toy (no wonder it took until the 1980s before drum machines were used regularly in recordings), but the totally amazing music makes up for the drum machine being used.

The album opens with “Time Captives” which starts off with the sound of Brown’s drum machine, before eventually all the strange electronic effects come in. By the time the vocals come in, the music is totally in progressive space rock territory. The next cut is the instrumental “Triangles”, not the most remarkable cut on the album, but the following cut, “Gypsy” totally makes up for that, because it’s simply one of the best cuts on the album.

“Supernatural Roadblocks” starts off with some totally amazing use of Mellotron, of the type the Moody Blues could only dream of, before the the music starts. The next cut, “Conception” is largely instrumental, but you get treated with Arthur Brown’s terrifying screams from time to time. “Spirit of Joy” is the closest thing to a hit on this album, and, unsurprisingly, the song was released as a single prior to the album’s release. The last song, “Come Alive” continues in the same synthesizer dominater prog rock territory, with a great bluesy middle passage with vocals that oddly remind me of Frank Zappa.

Unfortunately, after Journey was released, Kingdom Come broke up, leaving Arthur Brown to record simply under his own name. I have heard his 1975 album Dance, and I thought that album was almost total crap (except for a cover of “We’ve Gotta Get Out of This Place”). So, surprisingly, Arthur Brown gave us much more than The Crazy World of Arthur Brown and “Fire”, as 1973’s Journey proves. Another classic album, in my book. Year of release: 1973 – Arthur Brown: Bentley drum machine, vocals – Andy Dalby: guitar, drums, vocals – Victor Peraino: Mellotron, ARP 2600 and VCS-3 synthesizers, Theramin, piano, percussion, vocals – Phil Shutt: bass, vocals, percussion

Kingdom Hearts 4 Rumoured To Release in 2025 for PS5

K ingdom Hearts 4 is an action role-playing video game developed by Square Enix. It continues Sora’s journey as he becomes trapped in Quadratum, a more realistic world inspired by Tokyo. The latest installment follows the “Lost Master” story arc.

Alongside Donald and Goofy, players guide Sora in his quest for freedom, progressing the story from Kingdom Hearts 3 to Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory.

The game’s reveal trailer was released in 2022. Since then, fans have been patiently waiting for its official release. This article will explain everything we know about Kingdom Hearts IV.

The latest Kingdom Hearts 4 Game Update

In a recent interview with IGN , Yoko Shimomura, the series composer, confirmed her involvement in Kingdom Hearts 4. She disclosed that she’s currently composing several songs for Kingdom Hearts 4, though she couldn’t reveal more details. While this update might leave Kingdom Hearts fans craving more information after a year of silence, it’s great knowing that the game’s soundtrack is in the hands of someone who’s been part of the franchise from the start.

Other than that, fans are already aware that the new game will feature the world of Verum Rex, a video game inside a video game. It also has a series of new and recurring gameplay mechanics. These include a new build command, keyblade transformations, parkour elements, and the “Dearly Beloved” Reaction Command from part two, which is returning. Kingdom Hearts 4 will be available on gaming platforms like PS5 and Xbox series X|S. However, we are not sure if this all-new adventure will be available on other platforms such as PC, mobile game, PS5 Pro , PS6 , Nintendo Switch, or Nintendo Switch 2 .

Moreover, the photo-realistic trailer of Kingdom Hearts 4 shows a completely revamped art style. Some people are even speculating to get a glimpse of Star Wars and Disney-themed worlds through the trailer.

Kingdom Hearts 4 Rumored to Come out in 2025

Kingdom Hearts 4 might be arriving sooner than anticipated.

According to DanielRPK on Twitter, the highly anticipated installment in the Kingdom Hearts series is rumored to be released in 2025. Allegedly, the game has been in development for the past four years. Additionally, DanielRPK recently leaked information about a follow-up to Sonic Frontiers being in development as well.

Game Plotline

In the plot of Kingdom Hearts 4 revealed so far, Riku, Kairi, and their allies are on a mission to rescue Sora. Ventus, Aqua, and Terra have ventured into the realm of darkness, while Kairi is in a state of slumber, searching for clues within the past.

During her quest, she discovers the existence of an “other side,” leading to the realm of fiction. Riku decides to follow this path to locate and safely rescue Sora.

In the secret ending of Kingdom Hearts 3, both Sora and Riku are seen exploring Quadratum. The reveal trailer for Kingdom Hearts 4 depicts Sora waking up in an apartment under the care of a character named Strelitzia, who has also transitioned to the realm of fiction from Kingdom Hearts Union X. Strelitzia was intended to be a Union leader but was removed from that role by a hypnotized Ventus, and her rulebook was stolen by Darkness.

The main antagonist, Master of Masters, shall be revealed in Kingdom Hearts 4.

Check the teaser trailer for more sneaky details. The stunning trailer was released in April 2022 to celebrate the game series’ anniversary.

Another interesting aspect of Kingdom Hearts 4 is the Quadratum. The director of the game discussed with Game Informer .

“It serves as the primary hub within the game,” series director Tetsuya Nomura explained, “players will spend time there before venturing into different worlds, and then return to it.”

Nomura also mentioned incorporating “a more realistic daily life aspect to Sora’s life.”

Players will have the opportunity to enter and exit Sora’s room and spend time there. “I believe players will get to experience more of the day-to-day routines he goes through.”
