Koe Wetzel Just Announced His 2024 ‘Damn Near Normal’ Tour & Tickets Are On Sale NOW

If you’ve seen Koe Wetzel live, you know that it’s not just a concert: It’s an experience.

The east Texas native has built up a reputation for some of the best live shows in music. They’re wild, they’re loud, they’re rocking, and like Koe, you never quite know what you’re going to get – other than one hell of a time.

Koe’s high-energy shows have taken him from selling out massive shows in Texas to drawing huge crowds wherever he goes.

And he’s ready to hit the road again.

Koe announced that he’s hitting the road with new music for his  Damn Near Normal World Tour,  kicking off on July 27 in his home state of Texas and making stops in 34 US cities before heading overseas for 12 dates in the U.K., Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Along with Koe, he’s lined up some killer openers for the tour, with names like Treaty Oak Revival, Kolby Cooper, Pecos & The Rooftops, Tanner Usrey, Dylan Wheeler, Kat Hasty and Kolton Moore making these some must-see shows.

The tour announcement comes on the heels of Koe’s latest single, “Damn Near Normal,” which finds the country rocker reflecting on the lifestyle of someone who spends much of their life on the road.

And it sounds like Koe’s got more new music on the way soon:

“It’s been a fun winter in the studio working on new music, but we can’t wait to be back on the road getting rowdy with the fans. And who knows, we might even have some more new music to sing for y’all at these shows soon…”

Tickets to all dates are available at KoeWetzelMusic.com , and go on sale to the general public this Friday, April 5 at 10 a.m. local time. Koe Wetzel Announces 2024 “Damn Near Normal” World Tour With Treaty Oak Revival, Kolby Cooper & More

Koe Wetzel is hittin’ the road.

This morning, the 31 year-old country rocker officially announced his headlining 2024 ‘ Damn Near Normal’ World Tour.

Named after his most recent single release, the tour kicks off in Koe’s home state of Texas on July 27th and runs all the way until the middle of November where it wraps up in Copenhagen, Denmark.

If you’ve never seen Koe live (or even if you have), now is the perfect time to snatch up some tickets as this tour features (in my opinion) some of the best acts that the Texas music scene has to offer. Along for the ride at select dates are Treaty Oak Revival , Dylan Wheeler, Pecos & The Rooftops, Kolby Cooper, Kat Hasty, Tanner Usrey and Kolton Moore.

Koe also recently teased that more new music is on the horizon, and we should expect something to drop before the tour kicks off:

Presale begins tomorrow on Koe’s website with password “DAMNNEAR.” Tickets for the general public go on sale this Friday, April 5th at 10am local time.

Fresh off the first preview of forthcoming new music with “Damn Near Normal,” platinum-selling country-rock sensation Koe Wetzel has announced his headlining Damn Near Normal World Tour, hitting arenas and amphitheaters across the globe starting this summer. Treaty Oak Revival, Kolby Cooper, Pecos & The Rooftops, Tanner Usrey, Dylan Wheeler, Kat Hasty and Kolton Moore will join as special guests on varying dates.

Selling over 275,000 tickets in 2023 alone, Wetzel graced Pollstar’s Top Worldwide Tours for the third time and is primed to have an even bigger year in 2024. Kicking off July 27th in his home state of Texas, the Damn Near Normal World Tour spans 34 US dates with cities including Las Vegas, Washington, DC, Boston, Nashville, and more, with the stateside run culminating at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre on October 13th before Wetzel heads overseas for 12 stops in the UK, Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Breaking through with a series of independent releases and tallying over 1.3 billion streams to date, he has impressively notched three RIAA Gold-certified singles, including “February 28, 2016,” “Something To Talk About,” and “Drunk Driving.” The latter adorned his 2020 Columbia Records debut, Sellout, which arrived to widespread critical acclaim from American Songwriter, Billboard, The Boot, Rolling Stone, and more. At the same time, he has quietly emerged as a powerhouse performer. He graced Pollstar’s “Top Worldwide Tours” back-to-back in 2020 and 2021, moving hundreds of thousands of tickets in the process. In addition to headlining his own Koe Wetzel’s Incredible Music Festival, he has packed arenas, amphitheaters, and ballparks across North America, attracting a devout audience. At the top of 2022, Koe and longtime collaborator Taylor Kimball retreated to Sonic Ranch recording studio—a stone’s throw from the Mexican border just outside of El Paso, TX. Holed up on a pecan farm for a month, they had nothing to do “except eat wonderful Mexican food and fucking play music.” “It was straight-up bliss, man,” he says. “I couldn’t go to the bar because there isn’t one. I just had to make music!” Fittingly, he set the stage for Hell Paso with “April Showers.” Powered by a galloping riff awash in distortion, it culminates on one of his most chantable choruses. “It gives you a taste of the entire record,” he adds. “It was a good song for everyone to jump into.” On its heels, the single “Creeps” crawls on grimy guitar towards a sing-song refrain tailormade for stadium-size crowds—or karaoke at your favorite old watering hole. “It was a feel-good song for me,” he says. “I’m big into the Zombie apocalypse like The Walking Dead, so I wanted an apocalyptic zombie video for this b*tch.” Punctuated by nocturnal Spanish guitar and Spaghetti Western-style whistling, “Cabo” recounts a weekend of endless debauchery in Mexico with no shortage of gory details. “It’s a million percent true,” he grins. “I’ve pissed off a lot of girlfriends and wives, but other than that it’s wonderful.” Hank Ealy from Turnpike Troubadours lays down tear-drenched pedal steel on “So Low” where Koe confesses, “I’m so low it’s f*cking awesome. Makes me glad there ain’t a cure for insane.” “It was like nothing we’ve ever done before, so I was like, ‘Hell with it, put it on here’,” he says. “YellaBush Road” brings him back home with vulnerable verses and another vital hook, “And I’m way too blessed to b*tch today.” “‘YellaBush Road’ is my community,” he goes on. “It used to be a lot bigger. They had a school, a church, and everything out there. Now, there’s not even a road sign for it. This is my hometown song though. You get on the road, you get away from everything you know, and you start to miss it. So, the tune puts me back there.” Then, there’s “Better Without You.” Guitar wails in between a punchy beat as he promises, “I’m doing better without you being around.” “I bought a house a year ago, and I’ve probably slept in my bed for maybe like two months out of the last year,” he notes. “I had to unpack everything in my garage. One of those boxes had all of my ex-girlfriend’s shit in it. It was raining outside. I was in one of those moods where I was like, ‘F*ck this, I’m going to sit on the couch and grab a guitar.’ You’re over it, but you’re not really over it.” The ride reaches its emotional highpoint on “Sad Song.” He concludes the record with a fiery final word. “I just got in the booth and sang,” he recalls. “It was all in the moment.” In the end, there’s nobody like Koe, and we should be really f*cking grateful. “We brought everything together into one on Hell Paso,” he leaves off. “You’ve got to be yourself. Once I put out something authentic, it worked. This record is going to get a lot of flack, but it’s going to get a lot of love too. I’m not going to stop. Hopefully, I go home at some point, kiss grandma, and she’ll maybe cook me breakfast.”

Parking spaces will be held across from the Main gate. Pass entitles 1 car to park in the Preferred Parking section in the BACK of the Preferred Lot.

Koe Wetzel announces world tour with Nashville stop, drops 'Damn Near Normal' single

Texas-based touring favorite Koe Wetzel 's 2024 is taking shape. The artist looks to expand his reach beyond being a streaming-beloved genre favorite to make deeper and longer inroads into country music's mainstream moment.

With his just-announced world tour surrounding the release of his new single "Damn Near Normal," he'll change up very little about his push. To wit, other road-worn and rock-inspired country favorites, including Treaty Oak Revival, Kolby Cooper, Pecos & The Rooftops, Tanner Usrey, Dylan Wheeler, Kat Hasty, and Kolton Moore, will join as special guests on tour dates.

Wetzel's tour again visits Nashville's Ascend Amphitheater on Sept. 27, 2024 (he played the venue prior in May 2023).

Tickets will be available at http://www.koewetzelmusic.com on Apr. 5 at 10 a.m. local time. American Express cardholders can purchase tickets before the general public begins on Apr. 3 at 10 a.m. local time and goes through Apr. 4 at 10 p.m. local time.

The "Damn Near Normal" tour encompasses 46 dates spread over 34 American cities plus 12 overseas stops in the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Alongside those tour dates, Wetzel's popularity has led to his playing at almost a dozen festivals in 2024, including Rock the Country, Tortuga, Cattle Country, Country Thunder, Country Jam, and Watershed. In addition, because of his massive Texas fanbase, he'll join Morgan Wallen's "One Night At A Time" world tour in Arlington, Texas, in July.

"It's been a fun winter in the studio working on new music, but we can't wait to get rowdy with the fans back on the road. And who knows, we might even have some more new music to sing for y'all at these shows soon," offered Wetzel in a press statement.

In the past half-decade, Wetzel's career has surged to now bear multiple gold and platinum-certified recordings, including 2020's "Drunk Driving," plus work from his genre-bending top-20 2022 album "Hell Paso."

Like the rest of his rootsy, genre-bending rock catalog, Wetzel's latest single celebrates his devil-may-care attitude and "waking up somewhere new on the road every day, up playing music all hours of the night with our fans" on a "wild ride we're on that looks totally different than most people's 'normal'… but I wouldn't have it any other way."

"Real job, good wife, two kids / Don't know what exit I missed / And this road I'm on, is kinda dark alone," he sings in the bare-truths song's open. "Fake job, no wife, no kids / Can't believe I'm living like this," he sings.

The track's creation also reflects where Wetzel's interests lie insofar as advancing his success.

"Damn Near Normal" was written by Wetzel alongside Gabe Simon (Lana Del Rey, Noah Kahan, Dua Lipa), Amy Allen (Justin Bieber, The Chainsmokers, Harry Styles), Carrie Karpinen and artist Sam Harris; the song was co-produced by Simon and Karpinen and mixed by Grammy-winning mixer and engineer Ryan Hewitt (Blink-182, Kacey Musgraves, Noah Kahan, Red Hot Chili Peppers).

There’s been quite a bit of buzz about Koe Wetzel lately. It’s not easy to merge two genres like country and grunge and make it work, but this singer/songwriter has it down to a science. And fans will be happy to hear that he’s kicking off a world tour in 2024!

The Damn Near Normal World Tour will kick off this summer and span the United States, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. He’s not going alone, either. Supporting acts for the trek will include Treaty Oak Revival, Kolby Cooper, Pecos And The Rooftops, Tanner Usrey, Dylan Wheeler, Kat Hasty, and Kolton Moore.

The Koe Wetzel 2024 Tour will kick off on July 27 in The Woodlands, Texas at Cynthia Woods Pavilion. The tour will end on November 13 in Copenhagen, Denmark at Lille Vega.

Koe Wetzel Concert Tour 2023: Tickets And Dates

Texas maverick Koe Wetzel has announced a new 2023 Road to Hell Paso tour across North America, with the singer-songwriter recently unveiling a ‘Part 2’ run of shows.

The tour, which kicked off on March 2 2023, draws inspiration from Wetzel's 2022 Hell Paso album.

Since releasing his debut project, Out on Parole , in 2015, Wetzel has positioned himself at the forefront of the new brand of country-rock that is being pioneered by contemporaries such as HARDY .

Wetzel will bring hits such as ‘Cabo’ and ‘Good Die Young’ out on the road with him, on a tour that promises to be fiery, rowdy and memorable - although, judging by the number of drinking anthems in Koe Wetzel's repertoire, perhaps not-so-memorable for some!

On the Road to Hell Paso tour, fans will also get the chance to see Tyler Farr, Dylan Wheeler, Kolby Cooper, The Steel Woods, The Cadillac Three, Pecos & The Rooftops, Red Shahan and Pillbox Patti.
