A few words about us

I was born in Poros to parents who practiced the profession of fisherman and in parallel with the boat they had, they transported customers in the summer to the beaches of the island. So from a young age I liked to deal with the sea. But what attracted my interest the most was the maritime tourism by boat.

The boat is called "JOHN NAKIS" and is passenger / tourist built in Syros in 1993, wooden, 11.5 meters liberty with HP 225 perkins engine horsepower.

The license of the boat is for:

• Latza with a capacity of up to 49 people and sails around 3 n.m.
• Tourist boat with a capacity of up to 25 people and no cruise restrictions.

What does a fishing & boat trip include?

The participants travel with a safe boat, with amenities which include kitchen, fridge, WC, shower, bunk bed, shading and fishing equipment. It’s essentially a fishing experience with different techniques: rod, handline, nets and longline.

This is followed by swimming at secluded beaches and coves, otherwise inaccessible. The food is cooked on board with the catch of the day and many other local products.

Sea stories, conversations and photos accompany you throughout the trip.

In addition, there is the possibility to adapt the basic program according to the wishes of the participating group.

Fishing with Captain Tasos

Captain Tasos is a professional fisherman from 1994. From all these years, the journeys and the fishing, he managed to gain a great experience in the sea and in the fishing.

He is willing to teach you the basic secrets for the perfect fish catch and show you different fishing techniques, always with respect towards the sea and the things it offers us.

The teqniques that we use is handline, fishing rod and upon request we can use fishing nets and longline fishing.

Visit the capital of Ithaca, Vathi (1,5hr stop) - explore museums, have a coffee or just enjoy shopping Then cruise to the small fishermen's village Kioni for lunch. Let’s do the Fiskardo cruise differently! This year we have a new program on the Fiskardo cruise. Firstly we will sail towards Fiskardo with one swim stop on the way at Agia Sofia beach.  On arrival at the cosmopolitan Fiskardo you will have approximately 1 hr to discover the small Saint Tropez of the Ionian islands, as it is called. Enough time for a coffee, snack and walk. The town is one of Kefalonia’s most beautiful places, with small leafy streets, postcard views across the harbour. 

ZAKYNTHOS CRUISES

This island is known for its most amazing beach - Shipwreck Beach (Navajo) and sea turtles Caretta-Caretta. Cruise directly to Navajo where we stop for about 1 hour. Then on way to the port of Agios Nikolaos spot ruins of Saint Andreas monastery and admire the wild part of Zakynthos as well as the enchanting Blue Caves at Skinari (photo stop). Time for lunch and swim for 2 hrs at Agios Nikolaos port.

BBQ CRUISES * (on request)

Enjoy the most popular barbecue cruise in Kefalonia! Cruise slowly with Hermes to a spectacular virgin beach Koutsoupia, where the access is only from the sea. Spend a few hours on the beach relaxing, sunbathing, swimming, snorkelling and jumping into the sea while the crew prepares delicious meat on grill with plenty of salad, bread, fruits and drinks. On this trip the dinner is included in the price. Free wine and juice are provided. Make sure you take your swimming-suite with you!
