Enchantress Crusies

We would like to thank everyone who joined us in 2022 for a scenic cruise or one of our full meal experiences. We had one of our best seasons to date. With heartfelt appreciation, Mark and crew

Enchantress cruises honors, recognizes and stands in solidarity with all those who work on behalf of social justice. “blm”, sold: private fourth of july, 2022 fire-works celebration. our fourth of july event has sold this year. please see events page for details, and plan ahead for next year..

The moment you step on board the beautiful Carol M. you will be transported to another, earlier time. From a short three hour scenic cruise, which includes hors d’oeuvres, but not meals, to our full gourmet dinner cruise, we provide a truly enchanting and personal experience.

Our cruises originate on Lake Union, home of the famous “Sleepless in Seattle” and house boat community–then navigate the Montlake Cut out into Lake Washington, unless other arrangements have been made. (We do offer dock-side pickup to homes on Lake Washington.)

As you cruise along the lakeshore you will see some of Seattle’s most beautiful waterfront homes and properties, while enjoying complimentary hors d’oeuvres of two nice cheeses, crackers and fresh grapes on all of our cruises.

We are however best known for our dinner cruise of four or more hours, where we anchor in one of the bays on Lake Washington. There, in the stillness of the water, we serve a delicious, relaxed multi-course dinner before resuming the cruise for home.

Or if you prefer, book us to cruise west through the Ballard Locks and experience the salt air and stunning views of Puget Sound (for this cruise plan on 7 to 8 hours).

Whichever adventure you choose, you will find it to be far more than a boat ride–we are not your typical charter boat, we create memories!

Our minimum cruise is a three hour charter, includes hors d’oeuvres, but no additional meals at $770.00. Additional hours are $225.00 per hour.

Our dinner cruises require a minimum of four hours, at $995.00.

Meals are a separate charge, and average $150.00 per person. Please visit our menu page . We are not licensed to sell or provide alcohol, but if you bring it we have everything needed to manage and provide full service at no additional cost.

All our cruises are private and designed with you for your personal experience.

• We are licensed as a six-pack charter, and can take up to SIX GUESTS TOTAL. (Children must be twelve years of age or older) • We have a minimum time of 3 hours for a scenic cruise, with our most popular cruise being our 4 hour dinner cruise. • All cruises come with light hors d’ oeuvres, and a two person crew; a licensed captain, and myself, owner, host, and chef.

We look forward to seeing you on the water, Mark Lanfear

“I would give 10 stars if I could! I couldn’t recommend the sunset cruise with Captain Kelley more highly. My husband and I had an absolute blast with Captain Kelley and his two adorable dogs. He was incredibly knowledgable about every landmark on the tour- from the water level, to the wild life and surrounding houses. He took us past the floating houses, the tech mansions in Medina, and the sleepless in Seattle house. Seeing the sunset over the Seattle skyline was simply stunning, followed by an incredible view of the city lights at night. The weather was mostly cold and raining on our tour, but fortunately Captain Kelley has a spacious and warm indoor area for passengers to sit. This cruise is an unbelievable deal and is truly one of a kind. We look forward to taking our family and friends on this cruise in the future.”

We had a delightful time with Captain Curt. He was friendly and answered all questions. We didn't feel rushed or hurried at all. We had a great afternoon and family outing. I highly recommend this excursion.

Captain Russ is spectacular. He is an amazing captain with a great personality. Captain Russ made my family feel at home out on the water. Thank you for creating a fabulous memory for my family.

Loved it, we had a 3 hour daytime private sail with Russ. We were able to sit on the front of the boat and got to relax together. Would recommend for anyone looking for a private experience or a COVID-safe experience.

We took an afternoon sail on the Puget Sound. We hardly sailed because the wind did not cooperate but the experience was still wonderful. Russ was attentive and full of interesting facts about the Puget Sound and the locations we saw along our cruise. I highly recommend this experience. You will not be disappointed. Thanks Russ!

Captain Russ was great. Very mellow afternoon, no set agenda. Boat was very nice, stable. If you are looking for a way to get out of town and enjoy something cozy with your family this is a great option. Thanks

Thoroughly enjoyed our time sailing. Russ was a knowledgeable and friendly captain! Highly recommend this experience while in Seattle.

Columbia River Cruises

A Columbia River boat cruise between Oregon and Washington will stretch from the cool coast to the warm interior. These are often also considered a Snake River cruise or cruises on the Columbia and Snake Rivers, as they’ll connect the two waterways. Oregon river cruises hub out of Portland and are offered in the spring and fall, when harvests and blossoms are at their best. Each Portland river cruise will sample dramatic canyons, seasonal nibbles, regional sippers and fascinating history. Every cruise down the Columbia River offered by AdventureSmith will also transit through a series of 8 locks, moving the ship over 700 feet up or down. Select departures offer a winemaker’s tasting on board, for a Columbia River wine cruise.

Orca Whale Watching on Pacific Northwest Cruises

Small ship cruises in the Pacific Northwest, particularly those that cruise among Washington’s Puget Sound and British Columbia’s Johnstone Straight, offer excellent odds of encountering orca. San Juan Island cruises take advantage of a rain shadow and are home to resident pods of orca. While northbound cruises from Washington State can reveal migratory orca that come to feed during seasonal salmon runs.

An black orca whale with a white spot around its eye is swimming at the surface of the water in front of a snowcapped mountain peak.

“Pacific Northwest cruises feature cool coastal mountains to warm high desert, during superb spring & fall weather .”

Spring & Fall Small Ship Cruises in the Pacific Northwest

Snake River cruises from Portland, Oregon, as well as a Columbia River boat cruise or voyage in Puget Sound will operate on either end of the Alaska travel season, as ships position north and south. Catch spring blooms or fall harvest colors on northwest cruises, with misty mornings giving way to sunny afternoons and evenings. Note that the climate data referenced above is for San Juan Island, Washington; an inland Snake River cruise or Columbia River boat cruise is likely to be slightly warmer.

Small Ships Cruising the Pacific Northwest

Small ships allow travelers to reach beyond the roads and rails of the Pacific Northwest for an intimate and up-close exploration, away from tourist crowds. From luxury yachts and historic vessels to active expedition ships, our large variety of craft carry anywhere from 8 to 100 guests at a time.   These are not your typical boats offering Pacific Northwest cruises . They’re equipped with onboard naturalists, guest culinary lecturers, small inflatable craft, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. For even more, board a National Geographic ship in Portland or Seattle and enjoy educational tools such as a remotely operated vehicle (ROV), hydrophone, underwater video camera and video microscope.

The 100-guest National Geographic Venture is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built expedition vessel made for exploring coastal waters, shallow coves and fast-moving channels while sailing with the luxury of supreme comfort.

Catalyst is a historic yacht with a warm wood interior that takes guests back to a time when craftsmanship was the rule, not the exception. In Alaska she carries 11 guests while in the Pacific Northwest, she accommodates up to 12. Her original 1932 Washington Diesel engine is the only one like it in the world.

The 22-guest exclusive Motor Yacht Safari Quest cruises Alaska's Inside Passage, Prince William Sound and British Columbia and offers stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking. Unique among yachts, the Safari Quest’s size enables her to cruise areas restricted to traditional small ships.

National Geographic Sea Bird accommodates 62 guests with special features including a hydrophone and Splash-Cam. Onboard experts from National Geographic make this ship and its twin sister, the Sea Lion, an extra special experience.

What Travelers Say About Cruising The Pacific Northwest

As we experienced in our previous Uncruise trip to Alaska, the trip was well planned and well executed. We enjoyed the people we met while on the boat. I felt that every staff member we encountered was gracious and courteous making us all feel welcome and comfortable.

The staff on board the ship have a way of making you feel like you are the most important person on board. They go the extra mile to make sure you have what you need every time you leave for your excursions. Try small ship cruising, even if you don’t think you’re the cruising type. The day’s itinerary and meals are arranged for you so you can spend your vacation enjoying your family without dealing with logistics every few hours.

Most enjoyed Glacier Bay National Park with gorgeous mountain views, lots of wildlife, and glaciers. Liked the variety of activities available from strenuous hikes for the super fit to easy ambles for the less ambitious.

We never knew that the San Juan Islands could be so beautiful and hold so much adventure for this older couple. Everyone on the Wilderness Discoverer worked hard (but never showed it) to make sure we had an exciting and fulfilling time. Their patience and enthusiasm for their jobs made our trip so memorable.

Exceeded expectations. We would recommend AdventureSmith to friends and family without hesitation.

From reception to disembarking attention to detail was evident in all events. I saw lots of teamwork and enthusiasm at all levels. Their wealth of knowledge was amazing. I think they had as much fun as we did. These are obviously top notch people who loved their work and did a wonderful job.

Accommodations Review

Our cabin on the Legacy was very comfortable and well maintained. I loved having the window view. The only comment I can think of to add would be that being able to adjust the temperature in the dining room and the lounge so that it was not so cold would have been welcome.

Crew & Guides Review

Skiba did a superb job organizing and communicating the activities of the day.  Julie was an informative and enthusiastic leader!  I learned so much from Ryan about the geology of the area.  it added much to our actual visits.  Keka (Ericka) is certainly a special guide.  She did an excellent job presenting the salmon information as well as her knowledge of other naturalist elements of the trip.  Alll of the leaders and guides that I experienced were skilled and attentive making us all feel comfortable regardless of the activity . Although the wine was not my major interest I thought Asher, as sommelier, did an excellent job of creating activities and sharing information for everyone.

Traveler Advice

I would suggest the twin bed arrangement for a couple for ease of movement in the cabin.

Meals Review

I had some dietary restrictions (GF) that were well handled at the meals. The chef , Marcus, frequently provided me with chicken soup when I needed it. And Julie, the pastry chef, made wonderful gluten free bread that I enjoyed at almost every meal. This was facilitated by our server, Quinn. They made the extra efforts to meet my individual needs, not an easy task when you are serving a large group. Kudos to the food staff.

Itinerary Review

[I most enjoyed] The visit to Palouse State Park, the hike at the Dalles, the Maryhill Museum of Art, viewing the dams and locks from the boat, and Fort Clatsop. [I least enjoyed] The Stonehenge replica - not as interesting as a replica. Would have spent more time at the Maryhill Museum.

AdventureSmith Explorations Review

I felt I had the information I needed to plan for the trip. They arranged for us to be taken to the airport to pick up a rental car following our disembarking. I felt that Leslie was easy available for any questions we might have. I think the materials provided really give an accurate picture of the trip.

Overall the trip was great. It was a nice mix of activity, which was manageable for nearly all of the passengers. For anyone who wasn’t interested or able to do either the morning or afternoon activity an alternative option was available. The staff on board the ship have a way of making you feel like you are the most important person on board. They go the extra mile to make sure you have what you need every time you leave for your excursions. The group consisted of 27 enthusiastic travelers. Many have traveled aboard small ships in the past and had a good idea of what to expect.

We were lucky to be on a departure that was only 1/3 full, so the ship felt extra spacious. My cabin was a Master on the upper deck. The cabin was comfortable and it had a full bathroom. The viewing accessibility on the S.S. Legacy was a nice feature of the ship. You can literally stand anywhere and get a good view.

I most liked riding bikes through the Hood River wineries. I thought this was a unique and fun way to explore the area. I also enjoyed kayaking on the Palouse River and the hike at Rowena Plateau, which came with amazing views of Mount Hood and Mount Adams. The 3rd party outfitter provided everything we needed, but it was a very cold day. The scenery was nice, but being soaked and on the river for multiple hours took the enjoyment out of it. It was nice to be outside and among the beautiful scenery and the ship’s crew came prepared with warm drinks and lunch for us after the rafting. All in all not bad, but it would have been better if it wasn’t so cold.

Megan was very organized and patient during our cruise. Sarah and Bobby were knowledgeable about the region and did a good job during their evening presentations.

No complaints about the food. Each meal is well prepared and nicely presented. The kitchen even made me special dairy free desserts at lunch and dinner.

All preparatory information was timely, useful and easy to follow.

Try small ship cruising, even if you don’t think you’re the cruising type. The day’s itinerary and meals are arranged for you so you can spend your vacation enjoying your family without dealing with logistics every few hours.

Had the best humpback whale watching of my three trips to SE Alaska. Liked the variety of activities available from strenuous hikes for the super fit to easy ambles for the less ambitious. Lots of kayaking too.

Most enjoyed Glacier Bay National Park with gorgeous mountain views, lots of wildlife, and glaciers. The weather was great as a bonus. Enjoyed the river trip at Haines with the chance to see lots of bald eagles. Olympic National Park was another highlight, just wish the weather had been better when we went to Hurricane Ridge where we really couldn't see any distance. Least enjoyed the stop in Ketchikan, maybe because I've been there twice before and it always rains hard, not just the misty rain which is to be expected in Alaska and adds an appropriate atmosphere.

I had sailed on Wilderness Discoverer before, so it was like coming home again.

The breakfast bacon on UnCruise ships is the best in the world, and I always eat more on my trips than I do all year at home. A big plate of perfectly ripe fruit available at the pre-breakfast made it easier to resist the two baked offerings that were there too. The variety and imaginative combinations of ingredients--who knew you could do so much with kale! Impressive how the single gluten intolerant guest had her requirements met at every meal.

Kelly was enthusiastic beyond words, and very knowledgeable. Our guide at Glacier Bay National Park who spent two days with us was a pleasure to have along, and I think she enjoyed us as much as we did her (sorry don't have her name) because we were a very receptive audience for all the information she had to share.

Adventure Specialist Andrew has arranged all my trips over the years, and he is as good as it gets. He even advised on which side of the ship was a better choice of cabin on this trip, and he was spot on.

Wow, we thought our UnCruise adventure last year to S.E. Alaska couldn't be topped, but this adventure came a very close 2nd! Our needs were met every single day and the crew made us feel so special, like offering and providing a private skiff tour around Cypress and "Mermaid" Island for just Jim and me when we missed the last skiff because of open kayaking. We continue to sing the praises of both UnCruise and Advenuturesmith Explorations! [We chose this trip and destination because] we have enjoyed our two previous Un-Cruises and we have family in the Seattle area, so we naturally look for adventures in the region that are within a short distance in the NW or Alaska. Every meal and adventure was made more fun because of our enthusiastic fellow travelers!

Could have used a few more hooks in the rooms for hand towels, clothes, etc. Our bathroom was usually foul smelling and could have used an air freshener...

BACON was da bomb! I loved the salmon, scallops and ribs; my husband liked the lamb and the raw oysters. Daily different special bar drinks were exciting and fun to look forward to! The only thing we could even possibly give less than 5 stars was that some of the fish dishes at dinner were less than exciting. The desserts were fantastic, though!

We loved our morning on Spencer off of Lopez Island... with the remnants of the morning fog it was a photographer's dream!

Without a doubt, I loved the moonlight kayaking around Lopez Island, a truly spiritual experience when we turned most of the lights out and became very quiet, just hearing the sound of our paddles churning up the bio-luminescent plankton in the water. I loved hiking in the rain and fog through The Staircase area of Olympic National Park. We also enjoyed the morning guided kayak trip in total fog around the Finger Islands around Sucia Island. We also liked the bus trip up Mt. Constitution, the picnic beside the lake as well as the short walk through the surrounding woods on Orcas Island- and so many other activities on this trip...as well as the comradery on the boat...we made so many new friends!

AdventureSmith is always terrific and thorough. We have and will continue to [recommend AdventureSmith Explorations], in fact I just did so earlier today!

Pack for casual and exciting adventures. Don't expect luxurious quarters-just fun, fantastic food and lots of fun!

Exceeded expectations. Expedition lead, Rab, led a great team. All were knowledgeable and great teachers. Plus all were accessible throughout the trip. Betty Lou and Linda were particularly outstanding but all were great. James added his diving and photography expertise as did Drew and Brian. Eryn was an outstanding naturalist and patient teacher. Captain and crew were friendly and helpful. Fabulous in all regards. Rab really set the tone and having the experience of Linda, Betty Lou, Eryn, and the others enhanced the experience. The handling of bear confrontation on shore showed exceptional knowledge, training and leadership. Very impressive.

The Sea Bird is old and cabins are what they are, but still really good.  Get fitted sheets. Easier on stewards and passengers. But vessel was great. We knew what to expect so no surprises. The common areas were more than adequate for the expedition.

Amazing work given the limitations of the galley. Breakfast and lunch were perfect to fuel us up and keep us energized. Appetizers were a highlight. I very much liked the portion size at dinner. Soup needs work. Too much of same dark base. Think miso or chowder, but minor. Great baked goods.  Service was A+++ from Val on down.

No one better than Rab, Betty Lou and Linda. Gold standard. Rab shared personal experiences and emotions and displayed encyclopedic knowledge of every subject. Clone him. Betty Lou's talk on her career was fabulous. The whole team was knowledgeable, personable, helpful, available, great in crisis and enthusiastic. How can one be with Rab and not get excited about the events or with Linda, Betty Lou, Eryn and not learn?

Photography staff was first rate. Brian and Drew knew everything and explained it clearly. Divers, Jim and Lynn, added a whole different dimension to our experience. Local guides were essential to understanding Haida and Kwakwaka wakaw cultures. And the Watchmen gave such authenticity to our experience. Loved Ranger Molly. Wow!!!! No weak individual on this team.

Haida Gwaii, Gwai Hannas, Old Massett, and Alert Bay were strong cultural experiences which made the whole trip worthwhile. The nature walks were well chosen and instructive. Sometimes after dinner talks were repetitious, but small issue.

Zodiak tours were uniformly outstanding and exciting. The excursion into the sea near the Hobbit Hole was a memory for all time as was Rabs talk about Vitas Bering and George Stellars. Whew, all good!!! Glacier visits were well done, awesome, and sobering to see the impacts of climate change. Potlach dances were highlight also as was the ability to meet Jim Hart and Christian White. Legendary and inspiring. Gwaii Hannas was magical.

Andrew was, as always, excellent. Made our trip prep easy. We would recommend AdventureSmith to friends and family without hesitation.

Embrace the experience. Pack lighter/take less. Read some history like Muir's Travels in Alaska, history of decimation of tribes by European exposure and books on Northwest art.

From reception to disembarking attention to detail was evident in all events. Understanding that you make many of these trips each year keeping this level so high is a true complement. We wanted a small ship that covered all possible segments of the area. You LOS filled that requirement. Made some good friends.

This was our fourth river trip and the first where we were able to visit the bridge at will. For me, the mechanics of running a boat this size requires a certain management level which obviously existed. I saw lots of teamwork and enthusiasm at all levels.

So maybe a hamburger can be offered at times but you are obviously are on a par with other trips that we have experienced. I would guess that the general client group had no idea how healthy your meals were. You failed miserably to add 10 pounds as requested. 5 was all I could muster. Portion sizes were excellent. No improvement necessary in this category.

Can't add anything other than great job at all levels. Their wealth of knowledge was amazing. I think they had as much fun as we did.

Hard to rate but [I enjoyed most] the Snake River Fast Boat excursion was tops and the Winery Tour was second. Why - Both took lots of people management skills and coordination. Included in all the excursions were the Heritage Guides and your Hotel Manager. These are obviously top notch people who loved their work and did a wonderful job.

Pre-trip information was adequate. We have already recommended AdventureSmith Explorations.

The Lewis and Clark theme was a great way to understand how our country grew. When we left the boat we traveled East cross country more or less on their route back to the Missouri. We uncovered new information that added to our base knowledge about Lewis and Clark. Made for an even more interesting experience. Read the book also.

AMERICAN CRUISE LINES 8 Days | Puget Sound & San Juan Islands

SEATTLE ROUNDTRIP Day 1 | Seattle, Washington. Embark. Abounding in natural and man-made wonders, Seattle is Washington’s largest city. Located on the Puget Sound, this vibrant city is surrounded by water, mountains, and evergreen forests. Seattle is also home to a large tech industry with Microsoft and Amazon headquartered in its metropolitan area. Arrive a day early to explore this incredible destination. Stop at the original Starbucks in Pike Place Market, before exploring the iconic Space Needle, a 1962 World’s Fair legacy. Departing from the famous Fisherman’s Terminal, begin your cruise from this lively city to the majestic waters of Puget Sound. Day 2 | Anacortes, WA. Anacortes is a picturesque waterfront town located on Fidalgo Island in Northwest Washington. This vibrant coastal community is home to one of the world’s largest whale watching fleets, as well as Deception Pass, one of the most photographed places in the Northwest. More than 50 miles of trails run through Anacortes and Fidalgo Island, where you can enjoy views of Mount Erie, four fresh-water lakes, old growth forest, and a variety of wildlife, including bald eagles. Explore the downtown, just a few steps from our dock, and peruse its sophisticated boutiques, art galleries, and antique shops. Day 3 | Cruising the San Juan Islands. Your cruise is as much about the journey as it is about each destination. Today is a day to revel in the scenery, as we make our way through the San Juan Islands. Witness the whales, eagles, and seals that adorn the backdrop of the Olympic and Cascade Mountains. As we cruise, listen to our onboard expert describe the native wildlife or simply sit back and enjoy the sun on the top deck. Day 4 | Friday Harbor, WA. Friday Harbor is a charming town with a rich history and an abundance of character. Small enough to walk from one end to the other, this secluded coastal fishing village is adorned with historic storefronts, picturesque turn-of-the-century houses, and Coast Salish native carvings. Explore Friday Harbor’s diverse topography, from pebbly beaches to magnificent mountains and lush valleys. Stroll through the historic district and witness the local population of whales from the Port of Friday Harbor. At the Whale Museum, learn about Spirit, the orca whale American Cruise Lines adopted during our first season on the Puget Sound. Day 5 | Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Port Angeles, WA. The only Canadian town on our cruise, Victoria is a wonderful place to spend a day on a guided tour through the magnificent Butchart Gardens and lively waterfront. Start the tour from our berth in Port Angeles, continuing to Hurricane Ridge with vast views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the mountainous wilderness of Olympic National Forest. Day 6 | Port Townsend, WA. Bordered by Puget Sound and the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Port Townsend is a historic Victorian seaport with a rich maritime heritage, artistic spirit, and a touch of urban chic. Explore its ornate Victorian era homes, small museums, and unique art galleries as you view the spectacular snow-capped Olympic Mountains. Day 7 | Poulsbo, WA. Poulsbo is a great place to visit for its history, scenery, and lively downtown. Originally a logging camp settled by Norwegians who likened the landscape to the fjords of their homeland, Poulsbo retains a Scandinavian influence. A distinct Native American influence is present in nearby Suquamish, located on the Port Madison Indian Reservation, where a museum is dedicated to the history and culture of this native tribe. Day 8 | Seattle, WA. Welcome back to Seattle. Relax on the sun deck as the famous skyline of the city draws near. Once we arrive, make the most of you time in Seattle with a tour or allow American Cruise Lines to assist with transportation arrangements home. NOTE: Itinerary is subject to change without notice. For the most up-to-date information, please refer to the itinerary schedule you receive with your final documents.

Review for a North America River Cruise on American Spirit

User Avatar

We have been on multiple cruises with multiple different lines but never on a ship with only 70 passengers. What a treat! This is the oldest of their fleet but most of it had been updated. It is not extravagant but clean and very comfortable. Part of the charm is the way the ship is more like those of the good ole days. No buffets….Sit down meals in a designated dining area (with room service ... Read More

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Safari Endeavour

The start of our trip to the USA was meant to be the highlight of the Inside Passage cruise starting on 24 April for the 12-night trip to Juneau. Unfortunately, far from being the highlight of our trip, it was not the experience we were expecting or had been promised in the company’s various promotions. We had not been at sea for 24 hours when the ship suffered the first of several significant ... Read More

Review for a U.S.A. Cruise on American Spirit

We selected the San Juan Islands Tulip Festival Cruise to visit Skagit Valley for the annual tulip festival held every April. It rivals visiting the fields of Holland without the overseas travel. We spent time in Tulip Towne and were given a private escorted tour of the farm operations. It was very informative and educational. Anyone with an interest in gardening would love it. The cruise ... American Cruise Lines makes every cruise a 5-star experience! The ship was spotless and so beautifully decorated from the various common areas to our private areas. The staff and crew were wonderful. Made us feel like we were the most special guests on the vessel! We had some rough waters on occasion but the captain and cruise directors handled the experience with wisdom. The dining ... I live in Florida so cool weather options are always great in summer. I had been to the area before and loved it, so this cruise was a great way to see the San Juan Islands. I have cruised on American CruiseLine several times before and love the intimacy of a small ship. There were less than 100 passengers. Every one of the stops were fabulous. Friday Harbor, Paulsbo and Port Angeles were my ... Read More

We have visited Seattle and Vancouver, and have been told that the San Juan Islands are perfection in green and blue, plus we have cruised with American Cruise Lines (ACL) before and wanted to do so again. So we did, and were delighted with the Cruise! This is a case where the Cruise Line, the ship, and the ports are perfectly marched. The ship held 90 compatible passengers, most ports were ... We had a great experience with American Cruise Lines on our trip to Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands. Their staff went out of their way to make sure that we really enjoyed ourselves. We choose this cruise for the weather. We live in the high desert and cooler temps were beckening for this time of the year. We enjoyed the mid 70's to low 80's during the day and 50's at night.
