Scarper Tour to Stonehenge- great! (+tips)

Sally is a really lovely, friendly guide. Stongehenge was wonderful! I only wish I had known just how small the exhibition is-- had I known I would have taken the opportunity to do one of the walks to the other sites around Stonehenge. Keep that in mind and you can take advantage of the other things to see. (exhibit took me about 15 minutes).

We totally agree - Stonehenge is wonderful! There's so much to see at the site in addition to the monument - the exhibition centre, a walk around the landscape, or a cream tea in the cafe...please come back to join us again! All the very best, and here's to more adventures in 2023.

Let us take you on a half-day tour of Stonehenge, one of England's most mysterious sites. Comfortably seated in your purple minibus, you'll be able to observe the splendid surrounding countryside while enjoying the commentary of your driver and guide, who will be delighted to pass on his knowledge of the area and answer any questions you may have. The tour lasts a total of 4 hours, from pick-up to return to the city. The meeting point is in front of the Abbey Hotel in the center of Bath.

Detailed description.

You'll find the Scarper Tour bus on Terrace Walk, outside Abbey Hotel at 9:30 AM. Then, you will start with this amazing Adventure. You will travel to Stonehenge while admiring the beautiful panoramic view of Bath and listening to interesting city facts told by the local guide. Once you arrive at Stonehenge, you will begin the tour through the stone ruins and you will get to know the visitors center, you will make the tour at your own pace along with an audio guide where you can select the language of your preference. You will be at this stop for 2 hours. When you finish the tour, you will board the bus back to Bath and return to the same starting point on Terrace Walk.
