Shania Twain Concert Tour 2023: Dates & Tickets
By Maxim Mower
Link copied
Many 90's country stars were content to rest on their laurels and cement their icon status with the odd Vegas residency here and there. But that's just not how Shania Twain rolls.
Not only is she back with a new album in 2023, she's also embarking on a blockbuster series of world tour dates.
These will take her across the US, Canada, the UK and Ireland, with the tour kicking off on April 28 and concluding on November 14 in Shania's home-nation, Canada.
The support will vary from date to date, with Shania Twain having recruited an impressive roster of artists to open for her throughout her sprawling list of 2023 tour dates. This includes Shania's ‘hole in the bottle’ collaborator, Kelsea Ballerini, along with Mickey Guyton, Hailey Whitters, Breland, Robyn Ottolini, Lindsay Ell and Priscilla Block.
Here, you'll find all the latest updates and show announcements for Shania Twain's 2023 Concert Tour as they are announced.
The Canadian megastar will be performing a range of highlights from her latest project, Queen Of Me , which serves as the inspiration for Shania's 2023 tour name.
Fans can expect to hear her play her infectious, pop-infused anthem, ‘Giddy Up!’, along with ‘Inhale/Exhale AIR’, which was recently re-released with a feature from Breland, as part of Shania's revamped Queen Of Me: Royal Edition .
She'll also be treating 2023 tour attendees to high-octane renditions of classic tracks from her expansive discography, from the likes of ‘Man! I Feel Like A Woman!’ to ‘That Don't Impress Me Much’.
In addition to her huge line-up of 2023 tour dates, Shania Twain is also making time for a couple of festival appearances. She wowed fans in early April with her headlining set at Tortuga, and the ‘You're Still The One’ hitmaker will undoubtedly do the same at July's Faster Horses Festival.

Shania Twain says 'touring family' is safe after crew members injured in highway accident
Shania Twain shared an update on the status of her injured production crew members who were involved in a highway accident in Canada on Wednesday that resulted in more than a dozen people being hospitalized.
Hours before she was scheduled to take to the stage at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon on Thursday, Twain took to Instagram to share a message with her fans.
"Thank you so much for the (outpour) of love and support from everyone," she wrote in her Instagram Story. "First and foremost my touring family are safe. Anyone needing medical care is receiving great support. The local community and every single crew person has been phenomenal in the face of a very scary scenario.
She ended her statement with: "Hug and hold those you love, we are doing the same!"
Bus carrying Shania Twain's crew members rolled over amid 'dangerous driving conditions'
A manager for Twain said in a statement to USA TODAY on Wednesday that "one crew bus and one truck from the Shania Twain - Queen Of Me tour were involved in a highway accident" while traveling between Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and "multiple vehicles encountered dangerous driving conditions due to inclement weather."
"Members of the production crew who require medical attention have been taken to nearby hospitals," according to the statement. "We are incredibly thankful to the emergency services teams for their quick response and ongoing support. We ask for patience as we look after our touring family."
The Saskatchewan Royal Canadian Mounted Police issued a statement Wednesday morning that the Indian Head RCMP received a report at around 7 a.m. of a rolled coach bus on Highway #1, east of Wolseley, Saskatchewan. The agency also shared that, due to poor road conditions, the highway was closed from Wolseley east to the Manitoba border.
In the afternoon, the RCMP shared an update that 13 people "were treated in hospital for injuries described as non-life-threatening," adding that the Indian Head RCMP is investigating.

The country pop star, who is from Ontario, Canada, is currently at the tail end of her Queen Of Me tour promoting her first album in six years of the same name, which was released in April.
She performed at Winnipeg's Canada Life Centre Tuesday night and is scheduled to perform in Saskatoon on Thursday, according to her website . The final three stops this year are Calgary on Nov. 11, Edmonton on Nov. 12 and Vancouver on Nov. 14.
Twain will embark on her third Las Vegas residency next year at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Beginning May 10. She will put on 24 performances through December 2024.
"The audience can expect all the hits with a few fan favorites from the new album in there," Twain said in a statement.

Shania Twain is speaking out after her tour bus crashed in Canada earlier this week.
The 58-year-old country singer took to her Instagram Story to give fans an update after the incident left 13 people injured.
"First and foremost my touring family are safe," Twain, who was not on the bus at the time of the incident, shared. "Anyone needing medical care is receiving great support. The local community and every single crew person has been phenomenal in the face of a very scary scenario."
The "You're Still the One" singer concluded her post, writing, "Hug and hold those you love, we are doing the same!"
Earlier this week, a bus and truck carrying a crew working Twain's Queen of Me tour were involved in a multi-vehicle crash in Canada. A rep for the singer confirmed to ET that she was not on the bus at the time of the crash.
In a statement to ET, Twain's management company, Maverick Management, said that one crew bus and one truck were involved in a highway accident driving between Winnipeg and Saskatoon. The reps noted that multiple vehicles "encountered dangerous driving conditions due to inclement weather."
The reps went on to say that "members of the production crew who require[d] medical attention have been taken to nearby hospitals." The rep added, "We are incredibly thankful to the emergency services teams for their quick response and ongoing support. We ask for patience as we look after our touring family."
A spokesperson for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police said 13 people were injured and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The RCMP said it initially received a report just after 7 a.m. about a bus that had rolled over on the highway.
Lily Rose, who recently joined Twain on tour, spoke to ET at the 2023 Country Music Association Awards in Nashville, Tennessee, on Wednesday, and said she had just learned about the accident.
"I have not talked to Shania," she told ET. "We just got off the road 48 hours ago. Luckily everyone's heart is still beating. It's really hard to celebrate with those being our friends."
Twain's tour is next set to appear at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Canada, on Saturday.

And as luck would have it, 2024 is shaping up to be a massive year for some of the world's top musical acts, so chances are your favorite performer might be stopping at a city near you soon.
Ahead, we rounded up some of the biggest concert tours of 2024, ranging from Taylor Swift's mega-popular Eras Tour to Drake and J. Cole's exciting It's All A Blur Tour - Big as the What?—set to kick off this winter. You can also expect tour dates from classic icons like Stevie Nicks, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, and more.
1) Taylor Swift
Undoubtedly one of the biggest concert tours ever, Taylor Swift's Eras Tour will continue right through 2024. The international leg of the tour kicked off in Japan, where she played four shows in Tokyo. She'll also stop in Melbourne, Singapore, Paris, Madrid, London, Milan, and more before returning to the States to play in the fall.
There's nothing like seeing T. Swift IRL, but don't fret if you're unable to nab tickets—the Eras Tour movie is now available to stream from the comfort of your home.
2) Olivia Rodrigo
This is not a drill—"Drivers License" singer Olivia Rodrigo will be hitting the road on tour starting at the end of February. The Guts World Tour runs from February through mid-August and has dates in Nashville, Toronto, Chicago, and New York City, among others. Even cooler? Rodrigo will have a stacked list of special guests—like PinkPantheress, Remi Wolf, The Breeders, and Chappell Roan—with her.
3) Red Hot Chili Peppers
Did you hear the good news? The Red Hot Chili Peppers have extended their global tour through summer 2024. The buzzy stadium tour, which kicked off in June 2022, will now run until July 2024 and bring the California-based band to places like Los Angeles, Tampa, Toronto, and Salt Lake City.
4) Bad Bunny
It's fitting that "Monaco" rapper Bad Bunny titled his tour Most Wanted —it's slated to be one of the year's hottest tours. Planned to help promote his latest studio album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana , Most Wanted will kick off in Salt Lake City on February 21 and run through May 26.
5) Billy Joel
If you haven't yet seen Billy Joel perform live, there's still time! The Piano Man has added more tour dates to his schedule, stopping in cities like Tampa, New York, Denver, and St. Louis this year. Even more exciting? He'll share the stage with fellow iconic performers Sting and Stevie Nicks for some of these dates.
Mitski recently announced that she's expanding her North American tour dates , and we couldn't be more excited. The months-long tour, which supports her 2023 studio album The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We, has a long list of stops, including Miami Beach, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, and Paris.
There's nothing quite like a Madonna concert, that's for sure. The singer's Celebration Tour , which started last October, continues straight through the spring with dates in Seattle, San Francisco, Mexico City, and more. Besides her eye-catching sets, chart-topping songs, and impressive choreography, concertgoers also get a glimpse of the performer's fantastic costumes, which include looks from Versace and Jean Paul Gaultier.
8) Bleachers
The New Jersey-founded rock band, which is fronted by Jack Antonoff—known for producing albums for top acts like Taylor Swift, Lorde, and Lana Del Rey—not only has announced a new album but a new tour , too. The tour will start in the UK in March, ending fittingly in the band's home state of New Jersey in mid-June. Check out their newly released music video for "Tiny Moves" if you need a Bleachers fix in the meantime.
9) Nicki Minaj
Nicki fans rejoice: the rapper and singer might be coming to a city near you soon as part of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour. The massive tour will include performances in Brooklyn, Oakland, and Baltimore, with stops at Dreamville Festival and Rolling Loud California along the way.
10) Blink 182
Live out all of your nineties and early aughts pop-punk dreams with one of Blink 182's One More Time Tour dates. The tour, which supports the band's ninth studio album, One More Time..., will bring the trio to cities all over the globe, including Sydney, Santiago, Portland, and Boston. The tour's supporting act is Pierce the Veil, which is also worth checking out.
11) Stevie Nicks
The oh-so-magical Stevie Nicks continues her touring streak with a bunch of 2024 concert dates . Set to begin in Atlantic City, NJ on February 10, Nicks will visit a dozen cities throughout the U.S. this year, such as New Orleans, Omaha, and Chicago. "Let's keep this party going in 2024," the singer-songwriter posted on her Instagram in September to announce the newly added tour dates.
12) The 1975
The 1975 is showing no signs of slowing down. The British band, famous for hits like "Somebody Else" and "Robbers," has extended their 2023 tour through 2024. Titled Still...At Their Very Best , the 22-date tour will open in Glasgow on February 8 and conclude in Amsterdam on March 24.
13) Drake and J. Cole
Rap greats Drake and J. Cole come together for the It's All a Blur Tour – Big As the What? which is guaranteed to be a good time. Drake, fresh off his 2023 It's All a Blur tour with 21 Savage, is set to hit dozens of cities starting in February, many of which J. Cole will also be in tow for. Scoop up tickets ASAP, as Drake's shows are known to sell out.
14) Janet Jackson
Superstar Janet Jackson is also extending her 2023 tour, Together Again , into 2024 with dates in Anaheim, Austin, New Orleans, and Hartford. Even cooler? Jackson's supporting act is the 2000s southern rap legend Nelly.
15) Rolling Stones
If you've ever dreamed of seeing the Rolling Stones perform live in person, now's your chance. The iconic rockers, who released their studio album Hackney Diamonds this past fall, are returning on the road for a 16-date tour with shows throughout the United States and Canada. Concertgoers can expect a mix of new tunes and Stones classics.
16) Bruce Springsteen
Famous for countless listenable hits like "Born to Run" and "Glory Days," Bruce Springsteen is set to embark on a massive world tour this year with his band, The E Street Band. The much-anticipated tour will take the Boss and his crew to cities such as Phoenix, San Diego, Dublin, and Madrid, from March through November.
17) John Mayer
Be sure to catch John Mayer's solo tour this year, which will bring the guitarist and crooner to cities throughout Europe. This leg, an extension of his popular 2023 solo tour, will kick off in Stockholm on March 13 and finish in Dublin on March 29.
18) Shania Twain
Okay, this one is technically a residency , but we're excited nonetheless. Shania Twain, most known for her incredible outfits (her hooded leopard print look, anyone?) and hits like "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" is setting up shop in Vegas starting May 10. Twain's residency will take place at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood on and off throughout December 2024.
All good things must come to an end. The Eagles, known for "Hotel California" and other amazing rock songs, began their final concert tour this winter. It launched in Phoenix on January 20, with March 16 as its last date in the United States. Eagles fans won't want to miss this one.
20) Alanis Morisette: The Triple Moon Tour
Alanis Morisette joins forces with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts for their 2024 Triple Moon Tour , which has dates in North America and Canada. This tour is a great one to catch this summer, as it's slated to run from June through August.

Western Canada Rib Fest Firing Up the Barbecues in 19-City Tour

The Western Canada Rib Fest Tour is set to roll out on May 24, making stops throughout the summer in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia.
One of the organizers, Paul Mendonca, told The Epoch Times in a phone interview that they focus on community involvement and feature local artists.
“We’re doing more focus on making sure we have local artists involved like music acts, as well as headliners in certain cities, drawing a crowd,” he said. “We’re very excited about the lineup.”
Another change in this year’s event is Bone Daddy’s BBQ rib truck, which will be cooking up a specific dish.
“Just beef ribs; they won’t have anything pork cooked on there,” Mr. Mendonca said. “That’s something we’re going to be offering which I think will be a big hit coming this year.”
He said organizers started building the event up about eight years ago by partnering with local nonprofit groups like Rotary and Boys and Girls clubs. They started with stops in six cities, and this year plan to make it 19.
Mr. Mendonca hopes the tour will continue to grow.
“Just keep on growing it and making sure we still have a community impact as well as bringing in nonprofits,” he said.
He also said it will be the first year the tour travels under the Western Canada Rib Fest title, but it will be the same great food and good fun in a community atmosphere.
“If you just want to come and listen to music, come on down. If you want to come with your family, there'll be something for everyone to do. We’re really excited about this tour,” he said.
“We always want a low barrier to entry at our events, and just free stuff for kids to get out and do it. Just bring your family, come have fun.”
The tour lineup is:
Performers at the kick-off event include the Shania Twain tribute Shania Twin, Don Amero, Matt Cory and the Bad Decisions, Winnipeg cover band Jukebox Heroes, and more. On May 26, there will be a corn hole tournament (similar to bean bags) and a big rib competition.

Country Star MacKenzie Porter on Growing Up Country
Surrounded by beautiful prairie on her family's ranch in rural Canada, not far from the Montana border, MacKenzie Porter was “born and bred on country music.”
Country Living editors select each product featured. If you buy from a link, we may earn a commission. Why Trust Us?
Her duet with Dustin Lynch, “Thinking ‘Bout You,” topped U.S. charts for six weeks and went platinum twice. On music streaming platforms, her music has racked up over 900 million streams.
But what many fans may not realize about Mackenzie Porter is that her country roots run deep. She grew up “in the middle of nowhere” on her family’s cattle and bison ranch in Alberta, Canada, not far from the Montana border, just outside a town called Medicine Hat.
.css-6xnthf{color:#0A5C80;font-family:Kepler,Kepler-fallback,Helvetica,Arial,Serif;font-size:2.1875rem;line-height:1.2;margin:0rem;}@media(min-width: 64rem){.css-6xnthf{font-size:2.5625rem;line-height:1.2;}}.css-6xnthf b,.css-6xnthf strong{font-family:inherit;font-weight:bold;}.css-6xnthf em,.css-6xnthf i{font-style:italic;font-family:inherit;} “I didn’t even know when I was a kid how lucky I was to grow up in a place like that.”
Surrounded by beautiful prairie with rolling hills, her days were filled with family: Her grandparents, parents, and her older brother and sister, as well as her aunt, uncle, and cousins, all lived on the ranch.
“I didn’t even know when I was a kid how lucky I was to grow up in a place like that, where we had horses and dirt bikes and so much room to play and roam,” Porter told Country Living.
“Our parents would just literally say, ‘Okay, come back for dinner,’ and we would go and play and it was just beautiful. Now, having my own kid, I would totally love to raise her in a place like that.” (Porter and her husband Jake Etheridge welcomed their daughter Bowen in March 2024.)
“We had horses and dirt bikes and so much room to play and roam.”
“They put us in lessons when I was four, so I don’t really remember a time before playing music.”
“My parents put a huge priority on music and learning how to read music and play different instruments. They put us in lessons when I was four, so I don’t really remember a time before playing music,” Porter said.
“I started violin [hence the fiddle battle at one of her recent shows], then piano. We would do little family jams, and we played classical music, and we toured a little bit. I guess they just felt like it was a really important skill to have. I doubt they ever thought that I was going to do it for a living, but I fell in love with it—specifically country music. My dad, grandpa, and great grandpa were all ranchers, and that’s what they listened to. And so I was born and bred on country music.”
“My parents didn’t have some big record collection. It was all what was playing on the radio.”
Though Porter went through phases in high school with rock and pop music, it wasn’t long before she returned home.
“I fell back in love with country music because of the stories, and it’s the closest thing to home to me,” she said. “That’s why I do what I do and make the music I make.”
5 Questions with MacKenzie Porter
Is there a song on your new album that was inspired by your childhood on the ranch, mackenzie porter: nobody's born with a broken heart.
MacKenzie Porter: “‘Less Is More,’ the song on the record, is about that lifestyle. I grew up the first three or four years in a trailer, and so we didn’t really have that much. That song really ties into [the idea that] having less and living a simpler lifestyle actually can be more. Now, the more success I have or money I make or whatever, it has more complications with it. So I do think growing up on a ranch or in the middle of nowhere, kind of a quieter lifestyle, can be more beautiful.”
Are there any country artists in particular who were a major influence on you?
MP: “I grew up in the nineties, so, like, the Dixie Chicks [now The Chicks ] and Shania Twain and Garth Brooks . All the nineties stuff that’s so good is what we listened to, because, honestly, we were just listening to the radio. My parents didn’t have some big record collection or anything. It was all what was playing on the radio.”
When you go home to the ranch, do you still have to do chores?
MP: “I don’t have to do chores outside or anything like that anymore, but chores as far as doing the dishes and cleaning, helping my mom clean the house and watering plants—oh, yeah. She’ll put us to work right away. Even when I say, ‘Mom, aren’t we on vacation?’ she’ll say, says was like, ‘No, girl. You’re home. You’re working.’”
In a recent Instagram post , you sang Thomas Rhett’s “Die a Happy Man” to your infant daughter, turning it into a song about a parent’s love for a child. With Mother’s Day and Father’s Day coming up, are there other songs that, to you, embody the parent-child bond?
MP: “The first one that comes to my head is ‘The House That Built Me’ [by Miranda Lambert ]. It ties back to the ranch and where I grew up, and how a place and the people there can shape every part of you. And when you go back, all those memories flood. I hope my daughter will come back to our place one day and have those same kind of feelings, that this is her home and this is where she had all her firsts.”
True or false: You can take the girl out of the country but you can’t take the country out of the girl.
MP: “I love fashion, and I love traveling and all that kind of stuff, so that part is more city, but I feel like, yes, you always have a little redneck in you if that’s where you come from. And that is definitely where I came from.”
How Do You Know MacKenzie Porter?
