The trip of Portugal was fantastic. I thought it would be group tour, turned out to be private tour. Awesome! From the airport pick up, the hotel, the tours and the transfer to the airport, all was perfect. The driver/tour guide Paulo is so nice. He explained so many culture of Portugal, so that we learn Portugal a lot. He was also very kind to let us take our time to explore the planned places. The winery trip was also amazing. We learned a lot from making wine and tasted so many different kinds of wine, plus snacks!???? Overall, we were so happy and satisfied with this trip. Thanks a lot!

The Vouchers we received stated that the language would be English. A lot more information could be provided by the guides in each language if the time wasn’t spent translating into one or more additional languages. 6 bridges tour could be replaced. More time in Cascais would be appreciated.

Tour Radar is an experienced organiser and everything was in order. The hotels were good and the guides helpful. We enjoyed visiting Spain and Portugal for the first time. One disappointment: We had a half day tour of Lisbon with afternoon 'free for shopping.' I did not come for shopping - I can do that anywhere - but for sightseeing a famous city. An 'optional' trip to the Atlantic Ocean and mountains should have been included in the afternoon - I know I am not alone in this sentiment.

That aside, Trafalgar certainly knows tourism and gave us many opportunities to really see and learn about Portugal. Our guide Daniel was extremely knowledgeable and provided insights and stories to illustrate what we were experiencing. All in all a good experience!

When you visit Lisbon, a r ide on the iconic tram is not to be missed! And although Tram 28 got world-famous for its route, this is still part of public transport . The popularity of line 28 results in (VERY) long lines with up to 90 minutes of waiting times, a cramped experience, and a paradise for pickpockets.

Fortunately, there is a great alternative to enjoy the hills of Lisbon by tram: the Lisbon Hills Tram Tour takes a historic tram route, and you get to hop on and hop off when you wish without being charged again. The loop takes around 1,5 hours if you would not disembark the tram.
