How our journey began…

The Travel Village was founded in 1959, and serves as the Fylde Coast’s longest standing retail agency. Eric Bourne established Bourne Travel in Blackpool, selling package holidays on Highfield Road – where the shop remains open today, just further down opposite Highfield Humanities College! The Travel Village is now owned by Eric’s grandson, Phil Nuttall, making The Travel Village a fourth generation family-run agency. The Travel Village was established with customer service at heart, aiming to give you more when it comes to booking your holidays. That sentiment still stands true today, with customer loyalty and relations remaining at the forefront of our business and its operations. We sent a request for information from this company for a large international family vacation and they have not responded to our inquiry. Not sure this is a real travel agency but we have taken our business elsewhere and received immediate information so we can make plans for our travel.

I had a great experience, affordable hotel, and good company, going with a group was so much more fun than solo travel. Thank you!

After getting engaged I tried to plan a destination wedding in three short months. Everything I liked was booked! I was overwhelmed with details and frustrated at the lack of assistance from various resorts. One of my friends recommended Boerne Travel and I am so glad I called!
