Go Backstage With Twice At Their 2022 Los Angeles Stadium Debut

See exclusive photos from soundcheck and glam to the moment right before they went on stage.

This past weekend, Twice closed out their 4th World Tour III with two explosive sold-out performances at the Los Angeles Banc of California Stadium. It was a milestone feat for the nine-member girl group , with the two nights marking their first-ever stadium shows on this side of the world. When the show kicked off at 7:30 p.m. on the dot on Sunday, the rare super flower blood moon also took over the sky, visible from the open-air venue and adding another layer of mystique to the night’s performance. “I feel like I’m in a drama,” member Chaeyoung remarked to Once, their fans, while onstage. Dramatically decked out in all white, the members expertly danced, sang, and joked their way through the 32-song setlist, no doubt relishing their time on one of the largest stages they’ve played so far in the U.S.

But before that, the girls had their work cut out for them as they familiarized themselves with the massive venue and stage with an intimate soundcheck performance, during which they performed a few songs for eager fans in casual sweats and their own merch. Below, go behind-the-scenes with the group as they prepared for the show with exclusive backstage photos from soundcheck and glam to the moments right before they went on stage.

TWICE Just Announced A World Tour And ONCE Are Freaking Out

I'm mapping out my plan ASAP.

ONCE, TWICE is coming to a city near you! On Monday, Nov. 15, the group announced their fourth world tour, titled III , will be kicking off really soon. They unveiled eight concert dates so far but promised there are more to come. If you’re planning on buying tickets, check out all the details surrounding TWICE’s 2022 world tour below.

TWICE’s III will mark the group’s first tour since their 2019 Twicelights world tour, which saw the girls perform all across Asia and North America in cities like Seoul, Bangkok, Mexico City, Newark, and more. Because of lockdown, TWICE had to cancel their last four performances in Seoul and Tokyo, which were supposed to happen in March and April 2020. To give fans a proper Twicelights finale, the group held their first virtual concert, titled Twice: World in a Day , that August.

On Oct. 1, TWICE teased they had another tour in the works. At the end of their “The Feels” music video , they shared a poster that read, “2021 NOV — 3RD FULL ALBUM AND 4TH TOUR IS COMING.”

After TWICE dropped their third full-length album, Formula of Love: O+T=<3 , along with their latest single “ Scientist ,” on Nov. 12, ONCE had a feeling they would be officially announcing their tour soon. Finally, on Nov. 15, it happened. “TWICE 4TH WORLD TOUR Ⅲ ,” the group tweeted, alongside a tour poster featuring Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu in gorgeous dresses and blazers.

Here’s how fans reacted to hearing TWICE is going on tour again:

When is TWICE’s 2022 III World Tour?

TWICE’s first three concert dates will be on Dec. 24, 25, and 26 in Seoul at the Olympic Park KSPO Dome. The girls will then take a short break before heading to the United States in 2022. They’ll first perform in Los Angeles at The Forum on Feb. 16. Then, they’ll hit the stage at the Oakland Arena on Feb. 18 before performing in Dallas at the Dickies Arena on Feb. 22. On Feb. 24, they’ll be in Atlanta for a concert at the State Farm Arena. Finally, they’ll perform in New York on Feb. 26 at the UBS Arena. Check out the dates below.

If your city isn’t listed, don’t worry. At the bottom of the poster, it says more dates will be coming soon.

How do I buy tickets for TWICE’s 2022 III World Tour?

TWICE has yet to announce when tickets will go on sale, so fans should pay close attention to their social media pages for more updates.

Before TWICE goes on tour, listen to their album Formula of Love: O+T=<3 below.

Frankie Capan III shoots 13-under 58 in Korn Ferry Tour event at Texas Rangers Golf Club

  • Copy Link copied

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Frankie Capan III shot a 13-under 58 on Thursday in the Veritex Bank Championship at Texas Rangers Golf Club to tie the Korn Ferry Tour record for relation to par and match the second-lowest score in tour history.

Capan played an eight-hole stretch in 9 under, making an eagle on the par-5 ninth and following with seven straight birdies. He two-putted for par on the par-4 17th, then hit into a fairway bunker on the par-5 18th and ended up saving par with a 7-foot putt.

“Whenever you’re out there playing well and going low, I really just wanted to keep going as much as I could,” Capan said. “I know this course might be gettable the next few days, so just tried to get as many as I could.”

Cristobal Del Solar shot the lowest round in Korn Ferry Tour history with a 13-under 57 in February in the Astara Golf Championship in Colombia. There have been 13 sub-60 rounds on the Korn Ferry Tour, six in the last 370 days

The 58 broke the course record of 59 set by Masters champion Scottie Scheffler in a casual round with friends on May 3, 2020.

“When someone said it was for 58, I was excited because I know Scottie Scheffler shot 59, so whenever you can beat that guy, especially nowadays, I mean, you’ve got to take advantage,” Capan said.

The 24-year-old Capan, making his 31st Korn Ferry Tour star, played at the University of Alabama and Florida Gulf Coast He previously shot 59 in the final round of a high school state championship

“I shot 59 before, so I thought, you know, may as well break that,” Capan said. “It was a lot of fun out there. After the first four, five holes, I just felt really comfortable with my game and where I was at.”

Trent Phillips was second after a 61. Tim Widing, the winner of the LECOM Suncoast Classic last week, had a 62.

The wind gusted to 30 mph on the mostly cloudy day, with a high temperature of 78.

North Oaks’ Frankie Capan III shoots a 13-under 58 to take Round 1 lead in Korn Ferry Tour event

Frankie Capan III had the round of a lifetime Thursday at Texas Rangers Golf Club in Arlington.

The North Oaks’ product carded a 13-under, 58 in Round 1 of the Veritex Bank Championship to break the course record — a 59 by current world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler in 2020 — and claim a three-shot lead in the Korn Ferry Tour event.

“Whenever you can beat that guy, especially nowadays, I mean, you’ve got to take advantage,” Capan said of taking aim at Scheffler’s record.

Fresh off a pair of top 10 finishes, Capan was 4-under through eight holes when he went on a scintillating scoring spree. He eagled the par-5, No. 9 hole before carding seven-straight birdies from holes Nos. 10-16.

“It was a lot of fun out there. I think, you know, after the first four, five holes, I just felt really comfortable with my game and where I was at,” Capan told reporters in Arlington, Texas. “I’ve been putting a lot of work in the last few weeks, and really the last few months, just trying to dial a few things in. I think it all kind of came together, which was nice today.

“And then whenever you’re out there playing well and going low, I really just wanted to keep going as much as I could. I know this course might be gettable the next few days, so just tried to get as many as I could.”

Capan parred the 17th and 18th holes, hitting an 8-foot, sliding putt for par on the final hole to cap off the 58. His round was the talk of Golf Twitter on Thursday, as many of the sport’s biggest media personalities took note of the performance.

Capan said he knew breaking 60 was a legit possibility as he turned for the back nine, but he didn’t realize the course was a Par-71, so initially assumed his 13-under round would equal a 59.

“At the same time, I’m really just still trying to hit every shot, just stay really patient and present out there to where,” he said. “I mean, I knew it was kind of — it was on the radar. But I wasn’t really focused too much on (the score).

“Like, I knew where I was at the whole time out there. I thought it was cool, it was fun, but at the same time, like, you’re hitting those shots. I think that’s the part I fell in love with the most, just enjoying being out there hitting great golf shots. That is where I get the most joy.

It was the second time Capan has ever shot a round in the 50s. He fired a 59 in the final round of the high school state championship tournament in Arizona. Thursday marked Capan’s first round with new caddie Rusty Stark on his bag. So far, so good.

Capan earned his Korn Ferry status through Q-School in the fall of 2022, and even played in the 3M Open via a sponsor’s exemption last summer. He entered the week in 30th on the Korn Ferry Tour points list. The top 30 at season’s end earn their PGA Tour cards.

Currently, there are no Minnesota natives on golf’s top tour.

With a win this week, Capan would catapult into fourth on the points list. So, while there’s plenty of golf to play this weekend, Capan’s round of a lifetime could also prove to be a life-changing event.

“We still have three more days. When I’m playing that hot, I just want to keep going,” he told reporters Thursday. “Trent (Phillips), he shot 10 (under), he could shoot 10 again tomorrow. Really, I just tried to get the most out of it. A lot of fun, but we still have three more days. So, just kind of taking a lot of positives from today, but taking those into this evening and tomorrow.”
