Sameer Gadhia belts into a microphone.

Young The Giant is having a giant year.

The popular indie rockers just completed the first leg of their summer tour, dropped their four-song EP “Both Sides” and are now gearing up for the second half of their nationwide trek .

From July 13 through Nov. 11, the group that brought the world “Cough Syrup” and “Mind Over Matter” will play venues all over North America with co-headliners Milky Chance .

That includes stops in major cities like Nashville , Miami , Houston , Phoenix and San Diego .

We’re most excited about some of the ticket prices we found online though.

At the time of publication, some tickets were going for as low as $25 before fees on Vivid Seats.

By our estimation, that’s a steal to catch two of the biggest indie groups around on a single night.

Want to find out how much tickets will run you at the show closest to you?

We’ve got everything you need to know and more about Young The Giant and Milky Chance’s 2023 summer tour below.

All prices listed above are subject to fluctuation.

Young The Giant 2023 tour schedule

A complete calendar including all upcoming tour dates, venues and links to the cheapest tickets available can be found here:

(Note: The New York Post confirmed all above prices at the publication time. All prices are in US dollars, subject to fluctuation and include additional fees at checkout .)

Vivid Seats is a verified secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They offer a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and your tickets will be delivered prior to the event.

Milky Chance

Young The Giant’s co-headliner is fairly accomplished in their own right.

Known for the ubiquitous single “Stolen Dance,” the German rockers have released four studio albums since their 2012 formation.

Most recently, they dropped the ultra-catchy record “Living In A Haze.”

You can hear it here .

Opening acts

On the first leg of the tour, Talk opened for YTG and MC.

Now, that the groups have made it to leg two, Rosa Linn will take over special guest duties.

The 23-year-old Armenian singer-songwriter, who just toured with Ed Sheeran on his stadium tour, broke out in a big way with her supremely popular track “SNAP” in 2022.

if you want to do a deep dive, her catalog is ready to be listened to now .

Young The Giant set list

Longtime and new fans will be pleasantly surprised to find that Sameer Gadhia and co. play all the hits from the group’s two decades together at live shows.

For a closer look, here’s a set list from Young The Giant’s most recent gig courtesy of Set List FM .

Young The Giant new music

In November 2022, Young The Giant dropped the cinematic “American Bollywood.”

Over 16 tracks, the band plays tribute to Indian culture while also maintaining their soaring indie sound that helped them explode onto the mainstream.

You can hear the powerful record in its entirety here .

Should you opt to go even more recent, the aforementioned four-song EP “Both Sides Now” featuring live and acoustic versions of “Dancing In The Rain,” “The Walk Home” and “Both Sides Now” can be listened to too.

Los Angeles quintet Young the Giant continue to brave new sonic landscapes with their wildly adventurous third album, Home of the Strange. On this new release, the band explores their expansive musicianship with boldly eclectic arrangements anchored by a keen melodic presence.

To direct the band’s continued evolution, they collaborated with producer Alex Salibian (Elle King, Mikky Ekko) and Executive Producer Jeff Bhaskar, 2016 Grammy winner for Producer of the Year. Thematically, Home Of The Strange builds from the opening track “Amerika”, a song inspired by Franz Kafka's posthumously published and unfinished novel of the same name. The poignant message and bold sonics on Home of the Strange have been met with critical acclaim, leading to an NPR interview expanding upon the immigrant experience and Rolling Stone referencing “a new-wave sheen that flatters (the band).”

Young the Giant first broke through with their 2010 self-titled debut album, which featured the RIAA-gold certified hits, "My Body" and "Cough Syrup." This was followed by the release of 2014’s Mind Over Matter, which was both a commercial and critical success and prompted The New York Times to call [Lead singer Sameer Gadhia] “one of the great contemporary rock voices.” Since then, the band has toured the world, with their most recent route featuring sold out performances at Radio City Music Hall, The Greek Theatre, and Aragon Ballroom in addition to becoming a festival mainstay.

Live reviews

My fellow press photographers and I were escorted through a cleared path that cut straight through to the pit at the front of the Tabernacle stage. As fans awaited the members of Young the Giant to hit the stage February 22 in downtown Atlanta, the air was thick with anticipation, humid heat, and filled with the murmurs of eager fans. When we reached the designated area for the press, my nose was greeted by the edge of the stage. It didn't register in my mind just how close I would be to the band until the lights dimmed and a wall of screams bombarded me as the members of Young the Giant stepped onto the stage. The first few notes of “Anagram” caused the screams to double in force and volume. Whenever the beat dropped, the drums pounded, or the mood of the song shifted, the lights behind the band added to the story each song was portraying. The lights mimicked the music and the audience mimicked the lights. Fists pounded the air in time to the drums and lights flashed, all simultaneously. A fast song slowly trickled into a melancholy melody and the lights lost their intensity and faded from ferocious reds and yellows into deep, almost black, blues and purples. One of my favorite songs of the night was “Firelight.” The hypnotic sounds from the guitar, mixed with lead singer Gadhia’s gentle singing, made my chest swell up with an unknown feeling I can’t quite name. Accompanied by the tranquil state of the crowd, my eyes filled with tears as I felt the music engulf my mind. Near the end of the night, Gadhia made an announcement before the next song. “This song really means a lot to us,” he told the crowd. All night I had been waiting to hear "Cough Syrup" and I knew if I didn’t hear it, I would be slightly disappointed. I was relieved when the first familiar notes rolled over the screams erupting from all corners of the hall. Gadhia's voice merged along with every other person in the audience as we all sang together. Every pause and inflection was met with long-time practice and precision. For me, it was like seeing an old friend and feeling as if nothing had changed. This was the second time during the show that my emotions ran wild with the music, bringing me tears of sheer joy, while I smiled and sang until my throat was raw. Hearing Young the Giant live gave me a deeper appreciation of the group. They put so much passion, soul, and feeling into each and every song they performed and I could feel it. The crowd wasn’t just clapping and cheering, those who knew the words, myself included, sang along to song after song. It was beautiful to see the crowd’s reaction after the first strums of the guitar and to see hundreds of bodies sway to the beat of the same drum. Being able to experience Young the Giant live and to be able to connect with the music on a whole new level is something I will never forget. The band's studio recordings pale in comparison against a live YTG show.

Young the Giant has been one of my favorite bands for so long, since the release of their self-titled debut album, I had hoped for the day that I would see all their gorgeousness live. This day came way later than I planned, after the release of their second album (Mind Over Matter), but it was so worth the long wait. Mind Over Matter really surprised me because of how different it sounded from the first album, but it made me love the band even more. I'm all for how they mixed up their overall sound; it shows how musically diverse they are. While listening to Mind Over Matter, I noticed how each of the band members have improved since their debut album. I never knew Sameer, the lead singer, had that amazing falsetto, and the tempo changes in some of the songs really exemplify how talented this band is. I couldn't wait to finally see Young the Giant.

Seeing them perform in the flesh was such a surreal moment. They were all so beautiful and they played a good amount of songs from both of their albums. They also had awesome style; Eric wore a flamingo sweater and polka dot pants. The crowd was so energetic, and we all sang (more like shouted) along with Sameer. One of the many things I love about Young the Giant is that you can really see how tight they are when they are performing, and everyone gets a chance in the spotlight. They all were so into the music, which helped give the show an upbeat vibe. One of my favorite parts was when they performed "Camera." This song has such a different feel compared to any of their other songs, and seeing them play it live blew my mind. During that song, Sameer switched over to the keyboard. He then surprised us by playing the electric guitar for "Mind Over Matter," and that live performance made me appreciate the song even more. The encore was by far my favorite part of that night for so many reasons. "My Body" was freaking amazing, and that was when everyone was basically jumping out of their shoes! Sameer was so interactive with the crowd throughout the show, and during that song, my friends and I finally got to touch him! He would occasionally lean over the crowd so the people close to the front could get a chance to be close to him. After the concert, my friends and I couldn't get enough of Young the Giant, so we decided to brave the cold weather and wait outside, hoping for at least one of the band members to come out. After what seemed like the coldest hour of our lives, Sameer finally came out! He was so nice, really personable and so easy to talk to. Knowing that Young the Giant sounds amazing live and are also really nice people makes me respect them even more. I'm so grateful that I got to experience that memorable night with my friends and a band that is so dear to me.

Californian rockers Young the Giant are a successful commercial band in their homeland yet in the UK they are perhaps better described as cult with a loyal following yet only often playing in the capital. This night is was the turn of the intimate Garage to host the quintet to a packed out crowd of devoted fans.

Having left four years between their two albums and changing their sound relatively dramatically for 'Mind Over Matter' I was intrigued to see how they would blend the new material with fan favourites from the debut. The sheer energy they attacked the stage with was refreshing for American glam-rockers and they have clear passion for their music. Playing a selection from both albums, singles such as 'Cough Syrup' received mass sing-along by the audience and despite the second album only having been released a few months, the new material was received as fondly.

'Crystallised' was a real moment with lead singer Sameer Gadhia conducting an emotional and sincere rendition of this album highlight. First single 'My Body' wrapped up an energetic show that left British fans hoping the band would visit more often.

I saw YtG at the beginning of their Home of the Strange Tour, and it was kind of an accident that I saw them again a year later. Technically, I went to see CWK, but I stayed for YtG because what the hell. And I must say, I was very much impressed with the tour this time around. It seems they worked out their kinks, the crowd was more engaged, they started on time, and played a full 90 minutes. This time it was great, the band was really synced and you can tell they were enjoying themselves.

This time around, they played the Santa Barbara Bowl, which is a bit smaller than The Greek theater, the other outdoor amphitheater I saw them at. The SBB was a better venue for the YtG here they completely filled out the space, and the show was really phenomenal, it was fun and engaging, and it made you dance. A lot of fun this time around, and I'm glad I took the second chance.

My boyfriend and I saw Young the Giant in Athens on Halloween. I have been a massive fan of this group for years and I was estastic as soon as I heard about their tour! I've had the tickets bought for months now and drove a total of six hours just to see my favorite band. Needless to say, I was definitely not disappointed. The concert was amazing!! They sound just as awesome in person as they do on record, if not even better! These guys can really put on a killer show. My boyfriend and I were so close to the stage we could actually touch it. To top the night off with perfection, I was able to touch Sameer's, the lead singer, hand..not once but twice. It was pretty fantastic! Thank you guys for an AWESOME show. Can't wait for the third studio album and next concert!!

Young the Giant was great! The lead singer, Sameer, brought such an energy to his singing and performance. At some times he’d be banging the tambourine on his leg with great enthusiasm, or he’d be swinging away at the cowbells, dancing along with it. Even when he was just singing there was so much emotion; I was never bored watching him. As for the other members, they played very well—so experienced with the ten-odd years they’ve been doing this—and everything seemed to flow together as it should. I would definitely recommend seeing them!

I wept real Jesus tears. They are so good live. I was fortunate enough to be in the second row and it was mind blowing. They have such great interactions with the crowd. Despite Denver being one of the last stops on the Home Of The Strange Tour, they still looked like they were enjoying themselves. They were so relaxed, they looked like they were completely in their element. 100% recommend seeing them if you have the chance. Also, they sound exactly the same, if not better live. They are a really talented group.

I absolutely loved this concert. Before I went to the concert I wasn't really aware of the band, but I was totally in love with the concert they put on. Instead of focusing on entertaining the crowd, they focused on the music and performing to the audience. This made the band few very raw. Also, the lead singer was extremely passionate and the show itself involved the audience. For someone who didn't know the band, I really enjoyed it!

If you ever get the chance, you MUST see these guys live. One of those gems that sound exactly like their albums. They are amazing performers— they really gave us a fun show to watch. The talent of these guys.....several times I just closed my eyes and took it all in. The atmosphere of it all really got to me.

Overall, such a beautiful experience & I am so glad I was able to be there. One of the best concerts I've ever been to.

Had the best time at the mini concert. Completely enjoyed YTG's performance. They sounded amazing and were eye capturing with their detailed clothing. Sameer's energy was great and never left the crowd bored. Even after Sameer was so kind to sign and take pictures with the fans. Would for sure see them again in a heartbeat! Thank you Younh the Giant, I admired the new album and was thankful to experience Home of the Strange.

“Epic doesn’t even begin to describe American Bollywood. Seismic in scope and intimate in nature, Young the Giant’s fifth studio album is a massive artistic statement; it’s the band’s most ambitious and sprawling project of their career” – Atwood Magazine

The four-part album is available everywhere now via AWAL/Jungle Youth Records. Since the last album, Mirror Master, three of the band members became fathers. With lyrics mostly written by the band’s lead singer Sameer Gadhia, the son of Indian immigrants, the album tells the multi-generational saga of the American immigrant, and the origins, exiles, battles, and denouement of reclaiming their collective identity. “This is not just the story of an Indian-American caught in between two worlds,” the band’s Sameer Gadhia previously said, “it’s also our universal search to find meaning in chaos.”

The album was co-produced by John Hill (Santigold, M.I.A., Phantogram, Khalid) and the members of Young The Giant.

Milky Chance — the unassuming German duo of childhood friends Clemens Rehbein and Phillipp Dausch — are excited to release their upcoming 4th album. Over their decade-plus as a band, they’ve evolved to survive and thrive in a changing music industry. In 2023, they proudly boast over 10 million monthly Spotify listeners, an enviable touring resume (including festivals like Coachella, Reading & Leeds, and Lollapalooza), and an upcoming schedule of dates that represent the biggest shows of their career.

Event Details

Today, critically-acclaimed, multi-platinum selling artist Young The Giant announces a summer tour with Milky Chance in the US and Canada. The tour begins May 30th in Montreal and ends August 31st in Dillon, Colorado with stops at the iconic Rooftop at Pier 17 and Red Rocks Amphitheatre along the way. The tour follows this past fall’s greatly anticipated release of American Bollywood, their first album in four years. The current single “The Walk Home” is rapidly gaining momentum at AAA and Alternative Radio. The tour will also feature special guests TALK and Rosa Linn. See dates below for more information.

“Epic doesn’t even begin to describe American Bollywood. Seismic in scope and intimate in nature, Young the Giant’s fifth studio album is a massive artistic statement; it’s the band’s most ambitious and sprawling project of their career” – Atwood Magazine

Young The Giant and Activist will partner with REVERB to reduce the tour's environmental footprint and engage with fans to take action for people and the planet. Visit REVERB.org for more details.

To ensure that tickets get directly into the hands of true fans, advance presale registration is now available HERE powered by Seated. The Young The Giant Presale begins Tuesday, January 31 at 10am local venue time and runs through Thursday, February 2 at 10PM local venue time. Advance registration does not guarantee tickets. Supplies are limited.

Guests who prefer an enhanced experience can purchase VIP Packages which include a private pre-show performance and Q&A with the band, premium tickets, an exclusive poster signed by the band, early venue entry and merchandise shopping. Packages from 100X Hospitality will go on sale January 31 at 10am local venue time. For full details, click HERE

MEGADETH Announces Summer 2024 U.S. Tour With MUDVAYNE And ALL THAT REMAINS

MEGADETH is bringing its iconic live show to North America with a 33-city, nationwide tour, "Destroy All Enemies" , produced by Live Nation , this fall including stops in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Boston, St. Louis and many more. Tickets for all dates will be on sale Friday, April 26 at 10 a.m. local time with an exclusive presale for the Cyber Army/Megadeth Digital beginning today, Tuesday, April 23 at 12 p.m. local time Megadeth.com.

Bringing along MUDVAYNE and ALL THAT REMAINS , the tour begins in Rogers, Arkansas on August 2 and runs throughout the month before wrapping in Nashville, Tennessee on September 28. Performing classic hits from "Rust In Peace" , "Countdown To Extinction" and more, the tour also brings Dave Mustaine and bandmates back to North America to perform their latest studio album "The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead!" Featuring some of Mustaine 's strongest-ever songwriting, the tour offers an equally ambitious live performance that delivers on all fronts.

"Our 'Crush The World' tour has been a tremendous experience for the four of us," shared Mustaine . "We are all playing tight, and that has made it possible for me to really focus on solos and singing, we are playing more songs than ever before, and we are closer to each other, onstage AND off. I'm excited to see MUDVAYNE , and ALL THAT REMAINS . Join us as we DESTROY ALL ENEMIES."

The North American jaunt comes on the heels of a highly anticipated and successful stint in Latin America wrapping this month and starting back up in Europe this summer. With stops in Peru, Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Mexico and forthcoming dates in Sweden, Italy, France, Germany and more, the band's global appeal and lasting impact is more apparent than ever as continued calls for international touring are demanded.

Finnish guitarist Teemu Mäntysaari joined MEGADETH last September after the band's longtime axeman Kiko Loureiro , announced earlier that month that he would sit out the next leg of MEGADETH 's "Crush The World" tour in order to stay home with his children back in Finland. It was later revealed that Mäntysaari would continue to play guitar for MEGADETH for the foreseeable future, with Loureiro seemingly having no plans to return.

The 37-year-old Mäntysaari was born in Tampere, Finland and began playing guitar at the age of 12. In 2004, he joined the band WINTERSUN . He has also been a member of SMACKBOUND since 2015.

MEGADETH played its first concert with Mäntysaari on September 6, 2023 at Revel in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Loureiro officially joined MEGADETH in April 2015, about five months after Chris Broderick 's exit from the group.

Since its inception in 1983, MEGADETH has ascended from its raw thrash metal roots to become an unstoppable force in the heavy metal world. With founder Dave Mustaine at the helm, MEGADETH 's journey has been marked by a penchant for pushing the boundaries of speed, technicality, and complexity in their music. Their groundbreaking album "Rust In Peace" , released in 1990, is frequently cited as a seminal work in the thrash metal genre. Along with the critically acclaimed "Peace Sells... But Who's Buying?" , it cemented MEGADETH 's place in the annals of metal history.

Over four decades, the band's discography has earned numerous certifications, including platinum and multi-platinum awards, with albums like "Countdown To Extinction" and "Youthanasia" achieving widespread critical acclaim. 2016's "Dystopia" not only marked a high point with their first Grammy Award for "Best Metal Performance" after twelve nominations but also set the stage for their latest triumph, "The Sick, The Dying... And The Dead!" in 2022. MEGADETH 's status as part of the "Big Four" of thrash metal underscores their trailblazing role in the genre, laying the groundwork for countless bands and musicians who have followed in their wake.
