Kali Uchis announces upcoming North American Tour including Orlando Date

Grammy award-winning artist Kali Uchis will bring her North American headlining tour through Florida this spring with a stop at Orlando's Hard Rock Live.

Kali Uchis has revealed she is hitting the road with The Red Moon in Venus tour which will include a stop here in Orlando.

The tour will start on April 25 in Austin before making stops in New York City, Philadelphia, Orlando, Atlanta, Boston, Toronto and more before concluding the trek on May 30 at Phoenix’s Arizona Financial Theatre.

Uchis will take to the stage at Orlando's Hard Rock Live on May 1, with support from Raye.

General ticket sales begin this Thursday, January 26 at 10am .

The tour comes in support of Uchis' new album, Red Moon in Venus , which drops March 3 on Geffen Records. The new album will be Uchis' first since 2020, when she released Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) , her first Spanish-language LP. Red Moon in Venus , recorded in English, will explore expressions of femininity, desire, heartbreak, and all levels of love for others and oneself.

Uchis is known for her genre-transcending sound that bounces between R&B, soul, pop and more experimental styles.

Last year, the artist took home three Billboard Latin Awards, two Billboard Music Awards, her first Grammy and more, as well as scoring the Billboard Hot 100’s longest-running Spanish-language song by a solo act this decade with her song "Telepatia."

Before heading out on her headlining tour, Uchis will be making a series of festival appearances starting in March.

Festival season will see the “I Wish You Roses” singer perform at Lollapalooza Argentina, Chile and Brazil, Colombia’s Esteréo Picnic and Coachella.

Kali Uchis Announces Tour and New Album Red Moon in Venus

Kali Uchis has a new album due soon, her first record since 2020’s Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) ∞ . Her next LP is titled Red Moon in Venus and it’s out March 3 via Geffen. She’ll tour North America in support of Red Moon in Venus later this year, with Raye opening most dates. Check out the project’s cover and the tour schedule below.

Since Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) ∞ , the singer has collaborated on several tracks with other artists, including Ozuna , Omar Apollo , and Amaarae . Last year, she put her own spin on the bossa nova standard “ Desafinado ” for the Minions: The Rise of Gru soundtrack , and shared a new single titled “ No Hay Ley .” “I Wish You Roses,” a new song shared earlier this month, will appear on Red Moon in Venus . She explained the album’s title in a statement:

Love is the message. Red Moon in Venus is a timeless, burning expression of desire, heartbreak, faith, and honesty, reflecting the divine femininity of the moon and Venus. The moon and Venus work together to make key aspects of love and domestic life work well. This body of work represents all levels of love—releasing people with love, drawing love into your life and self-love. It’s believed by many astrologers that the blood moon can send your emotions into a spin, and that’s what I felt represented this body of work best.

ORLANDO, Fla. – The singer Kali Uchis will have showgoers wishing her roses and seeing her again after she performs in Orlando this spring.

Uchis will be bringing her “Red Moon In Venus” tour to the Hard Rock Live Orlando within Universal Orlando. The Latin superstar will be performing on Monday, May 1, at 8 p.m.

The singer’s latest album was released on March 3, which also shares the same name as her tour. She will be touring alongside the pop artist RAYE.

The Colombian-American singer has won one Grammy and is known for her mixed sounds of pop, R&B and soul.

Uchis rose to fame in 2015 with her album “Por Vida.” Her second album, “Isolation,” also rose in popularity following its release in 2018.

Tickets prices are currently on sale and range from $204 - $510.

After teasing the release of two albums this year — one in English and the other in Spanish — Kali Uchis has confirmed her English-language album “ Red Moon In Venus ” is slated for arrival on March 3 via Geffen Records. The bilingual pop star also unveiled a 20-date headlining trek across North America this spring.

General on-sale for the North American tour begins Jan. 26 at 10 a.m. local time at kaliuchis.com.

Prior to this announcement, Uchis released the sultry single “I Wish You Roses,” which arrived alongside a flowery visual treatment.

“This song is about being able to release people with love,” Uchis said in a previous statement. “It could be a friend, a lover, or someone else, but the point is to celebrate releasing people from your life without being resentful or bitter.”

“Red Moon In Venus” is described in a press release as a blend of “soul, R&B, pop, música urbana and more experimental textures,” and stems from Uchis’ goal to “create an album that felt timeless, one that can be enjoyed any time and any place and will remain meaningful throughout the years to her and her fans.”

On March 3, Kali Uchis will officially unveil her highly anticipated Red Moon In Venus album. So far, fans have been able to indulge in two singles, “NO HAY LEY” and “I Wish You Roses.” Today (Jan. 23), the Virgina-born songstress announced she will be heading out on a tour this spring produced by Live Nation. The journey kicks off on April 24 in Austin and will make its way through major cities like New York, Las Vegas, Toronto, and more before coming to a close in Phoenix on May 30.

“Love is the message,” Uchis said about the forthcoming album via press release. “ Red Moon In Venus is a timeless, burning expression of desire, heartbreak , faith, and honesty, reflecting the divine femininity of the moon and Venus. The moon and Venus work together to make key aspects of love and domestic life work well. This body of work represents all levels of love — releasing people with love, drawing love into your life and self-love.”

The “Melting” singer’s last body of work was 2020’s Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) LP, a Spanish album that contained 13 songs and additional features from PARTYNEXTDOOR, Rico Nasty, Jowell & Randy, and Jhay Cortez. Months afterward, she released the deluxe upgrade, complete with a new assist from SZA on the fan-favorite “fue mejor” track.

I was really glad to see so many young people of color in Portland enjoying this show! Kali's opener Phony Ppl had amazing energy and got the crowd super hyped up. Even better, they actually were Kali's backing band for her set! Kali, of course, looked and performed flawlessly (She performed a lot of songs in Spanish like Sabor a Mi!) There was some pushing (which usually is a major pet peeve for me) but the enthusiasm and happiness I could physically sense from the crowd made me happy. I'm so glad I came out and saw her on her first headlining tour-and now we wait for that full length album.

I saw her last night in Houston at Warehouse Live. She was fantastic and sang both her English and Spanish hits. She looked so cute and well put together. The opener, Phony Ppl, were amazing and the lead singer is very charismatic and you can tell crowd participation was important to him. He really emphasized his lyrics and their meanings. Phony Ppl as a band are also crazy talented and played for Kali. They each got solo moments to show their stuff. Kali sounds even better live and she was dancing and talking to us, it was great. She even did an encore song. I will definitely see her again.

Amazing concert! The opener Gabriel Garzon-Montano was spectacular and surprisingly better live. Kali Uchis was so awesome, she was sick but still sounded even better live than on her album! She did an amazing encore and interacted with the entire crowd. Best concert I’ve ever been to.

Kali was absolutely mesmerizing. She shines like diamonds and her stage presence is like no other. I knew the show would be great but I never imagined it would be as a amazing as it was. I’ve falling more into the beautiful aura that Kali Uchis radiates.

So disappointing. The sound was terrible, we couldn't hear anything. Songs were cut, the stage set up (if you want to call a giant sheet hung in the background a set up) was laughable.

It was sad to see such an artist reduced to a few dance moves.

The concert was beyond amazing. Better than I expected. 100 out of 10 stars. The dj portion could have been better. But Kali's overall performance was what really made the show and her interaction with the people was great. Love her❤️

It was fucking terrible. It got canceled and they have yet to refund our money. I was so excited to see kali and Republic totally let us down. It was sunny all day Sunday but they canceled the event due to a "hurricane". Total bullshit

Saw her in NYC @ the Full Moon Festival - came from Atlanta just for the concert - totally worth it! We had an amazing time, even spotted her in the "Artist's Area" near her trailer. Amazingly, we made it to the front row...

Date was changed with out any notification. Had other plans that had to be cut short and the audio/acoustics for the show made it hard to enjoy the concert. Not very happy with the experience

She was amazing. Every bit of her performance were amazing. I love how the venue was small and intimate. The opening act was great too. She came out for an encore and it was awesome.

Kali Uchis Confirms New Album Red Moon In Venus And Announces North American Headline Tour This Spring

Grammy-winning artist  Kali Uchis ’   new English language album,  Red Moon In Venus , is slated for release on  March 3 via  Geffen Records —pre-order/pre-save it  here . On Friday, Uchis debuted a new track, “ I Wish You Roses ,” alongside a video directed by Cho Gi-Seok.

“Love is the message,” Uchis explains about the new album. “ Red Moon In Venus  is a timeless, burning expression of desire, heartbreak, faith, and honesty, reflecting the divine femininity of the moon and Venus. The moon and Venus work together to make key aspects of love and domestic life work well. This body of work represents all levels of love—releasing people with love, drawing love into your life and self-love. It’s believed by many astrologers that the blood moon can send your emotions into a spin, and that’s what I felt represented this body of work best.”

Simultaneously, Uchis confirms she will embark on a headline North American tour this spring produced by Live Nation, with stops at  New York’s Radio City Music Hall ,  Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom ,  Washington D.C.’s Anthem  and more—see full routing below. Uchis is among the top-billed performers at this year’s  Coachella ,  Lollapalooza  in Chile, Argentina and Brazil and  Estéreo Picnic  in Colombia.

Uchis went into the recording process intending to create an album that felt timeless, one that can be enjoyed any time and any place and will remain meaningful throughout the years to her and her fans.  Red Moon In Venus  floats between soul, R&B, pop, música urbana and more experimental textures. The result is an album that, as Uchis has come to perfect throughout her catalog, transcends genre or classification, a pure reflection of her soul.

Last year, Uchis won three  Billboard  Latin Awards, two  Billboard  Music Awards and an American Music Award. In 2021, Uchis took home her first  Billboard  Latin Music Award for her critically acclaimed Spanish language album,  Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) ∞ ,   released in 2020, which spawned the runaway, chart-topping hit, “ telepatía ,” which has been streamed more than 2 billion times to date and is the  Billboard  Hot 100’s longest running Spanish song by a solo act this decade with a 23-week streak. That same year, she took home her first Grammy Award, Premios Nuestra Tierra and Univision Premios Juventud, covered  Office Magazine , performed on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and toured arenas across North America with Tyler, the Creator.

Raised between Virginia and Colombia, Kali Uchis rose to prominence with  Por Vida  in 2015, following it up with her 2018 debut album,  Isolation , which received widespread critical acclaim and was featured on Best Of lists in  Rolling Stone ,  Pitchfork ,  NPR ,  Vulture  and many more. Tyler , the Creator has announced tour dates behind his latest album  Call Me If You Get Lost , with Vince Staples , Kali Uchis , and newcomer Teezo Touchdown joining him as opening acts.

The 34-date trek through the U.S. and Canada kicks off February 10th, 2022, in San Diego, and runs through April 8th with a final show in Seattle. Tickets go on sale this Friday, August 6th at CallMeIfYouGetLost.com and Vivid Seats .

Staples and Uchis have both released their own new albums in the past year with Vince Staples and Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) , respectively. Teezo Touchdown has yet to release a proper LP, but was featured on the  Call Me If You Get Lost track “RunItUp.”

Tyler, the Creator performed a headlining set this past weekend at Lollapalooza and will play another set at November’s Day N Vegas festival before hitting the road for his tour.
