Good but very big

It's a nice pushchair although it is very big so not ideal for car use or frequent trips. I have a large car and this will only just fit in the boot!

Hey, Nabeel,

I think you can only get the accessories by searching in classifieds or on eBay, just check pre-loved stuff and/or universal accessories for any given stroller.

For a kind of similar pram, check the Mothercare Journey which has a similar functionality.

Is the car seat Isofix-compatible?

Hi, Tarlie,

I don't know which car seat you have paired this stroller with. You have to search for the base for the car seat you own, e.g. "Joie i-Level Isofix base". An Isofix base only matches the car seat, not the stroller.

• Page 2 The xcursion features a reversible seat unit, reclining backrest, adjustable footrest, lockable front swivel wheels and shopping basket. The shopping basket is intended to carry an evenly distributed maximum load of 4.5kg (9.9lbs). Built in adaptors enable the xcursion infant carrier to be fitted to the pushchair.
• Page 3 parts checklist unfolding the chassis fig 1 Remove all packaging materials lay chassis on floor as shown. Unfasten the folding latch on the side of the chassis. fig 2 Step down onto basket to open. Ensure that the product has been locked out on both sides of the frame to the red line.
• Page 4 preparation for use fitting the rear wheels fig 5 Press the wheel release button and attach the rear wheel as shown. Pull to make sure they are fully attached. attaching the seat unit fig 6 Attach seat unit to the chassis as shown. Check the seat unit is securely attached before use.
• Page 5 preparation for use attaching the bumper bar fig 8 Attach the bumper bar as shown. Check that it is securely attached on both sides. in use securing your child fig 9 WARNING. Ensure your child wears a correctly fitting harness at all times. To fasten, insert both fasteners securely into the clasp.
• Page 6 in use using the parking brake fig 11 To engage the parking brake step down on the rear peddle to stop the stroller moving whilst in a stationary position. Check that the brakes have engaged correctly by gently pushing the stroller. Pull up to release the brakes.
• Page 7 in use reclining the seat unit fig 14 Release the lever and recline the seat as required. reversing the seat unit fig 15 Push the buttons inwards as shown on each side and lift the seat unit away from the frame. fig 16 Turn the seat unit around and replace into the adaptors until you hear a ‘click’.
• Page 8 in use adjusting the handle fig 17 Push the button “1” on the underside of the handle to the right at the same time press the larger plastic button “2”. Adjust the handle as required. fig 18 fig 19 attaching the apron fig 20 Attach the apron by pushing in the press studs on either side of the pushchair.
• Page 9 in use using the footmuff fig 21 Fit the footmuff to the seat unit by pulling the safety harness through the holes in the liner. The front of the footmuff may be removed for use in warmer weather. fitting the weathershield fig 22 Fit the weathershield over the pushchair and attach to the frame with the velcro tabs.
• Page 10 after use removing the bumper bar fig 24 Push bumper bar pins in on both sides and pull up to remove as shown. removing the hood fig 25 Remove the hood as shown. removing the seat unit fig 25 Push the buttons inwards as shown on each side and lift the seat unit away from the frame.
• Page 11 after use folding the chassis fig 27 Push the button “1” on the underside of the handle to the right at the same time press the larger plastic button “2” Press button “3” and at the same time, push the handle downwards.
• Page 12 Brakes, wheels and tyres are subject to wear and should be replaced if necessary. This can be arranged through your local Mothercare store. Should parts of your pushchair become stiff or difficult to operate, ensure that dirt is not the cause.
• Page 13 Do not use replacement parts or accessories, e.g. child seats, bag hooks, rain covers etc. other than those approved by Mothercare. They may make the pushchair unsafe. Never leave your child unattended, even for the shortest time.

That's the one we're thinking of getting too! Will be watching this to see what others say, but the reviews online are good.  

We were very nearly swayed by this one in comparison to the graco evo which is our other choice. I don't think there's really a lot of difference between them and I think it's a good system for the price... We have decided on the graco purely because you can get a base for the car which the car seat clips in and out of, where as the mothercare one you have to feed the seatbelt in everytime. That's not a major thing by any means, but my hubby lacks patience lol if it wasn't for that I'd defo be buying one xxx  

I have been looking at this one too, it's on the shortlist so will also be keeping my eye on this thread! Don't think the car seat thing would bother me as I don't think we'd ever really take it out of the car that much!  

We're going to be leaving the seat in the car all the time, so decided we didn't need to have the base. Our plan was to go to the mothercare where they have the carseat fitting service and watch really carefully then practice loads as we'll have to leave hospital, when the time comes, in father in law's car as my oh doesn't drive and I'm sure I won't be driving at that point!  

I've got it! Mines in that pinky/plum colour. It's awesome, so easy to push around, feels nice and light, lots of space underneath, and it's a bargain! Can't wait for mine to arrive on the 1st nov! X

havent seen it folded up but i doubt it! its not a big chunky pram if you know what i mean? x  

Looks really nice, in still trying to figure out what we're getting. Think we'll go try some out first

I bought the Mothercare Xpedior for when my son was born in July 2013. Loved it at first and the price was a bonus to but in winds it started to move with the brake on & my son in the pram. Luckily I was hold of it still but made me wary of using it anymore why the brakes aren't secure enough so I got a different pram & the grand parents used the xpedior for when my son was up there so hadn't been used much just 5 months as a main pram then once a week for the next 2 month and now the chassis has broke & come apart at a weld. The grandparents took the pram back to mothercare for the assistant to ask another "are we still repairing these" turns out there is a known fault and there has been so many they have stopped repairing them and are now just giving new chassis. Yet mothercare still haven't recalled the prams. So I would not recommend it to anyone I'm afraid.  

we had this one in mind and went to look at it and wasnt impressed, the interior didnt seem very high qualoity and the carseat didnt use isofix - just a strap in - which was a huge downside for us. so we went with a silvercross linear freeway

I got told the xpedia would fit in my tiny boot (I have a citroen c1) went to have a look at it yday and its MASSIVE when folded. Not a chance of it fitting in my boot. Not sure why some reviews say it folds really small. Think its just the typical size of a pushchair when folded.  

I was very close to buying this and after some advice from the ladies on here I changed my mind and went for the Graco Evo. I am so glad I did. I got it for £299 all in with a free car seat and it attaches onto an isofix base. Also I heard from a few people that the Xpedior wasn't good quality, and things started to go wrong with it after purchase. Not from everyone but some people did regret buying it. I did not want to fall into that category. On the other hand, no-one I spoke to regretted the Graco Evo. Main things that put me off about it were the car seat. It cannot fit onto an isofix base and it seemed small to me. Also, it is big when folded down and very long. Also, the quality doesn't seem as good as others around the same price.....

Don't buy the mothercare xpedior travel system the pram is lovely and big baby could fit in there until he she is 6 months it's the car seat the straps cut into my granddaughters too legs and the buckle stabbed in the belly we used it twice and can't use it no more I brought another car seat BUT don't fit on pram frame no other car seat fits the frame stay away xxx  

This is the one we originally had our heart set on, but when we saw it in person we were so disappointed. It's just not as well made as it appears and you have to literally take the entire thing apart to fold it down, including wheels! I personally wouldn't recommend it. We ended up going for a Cosatto Giggle 2 Travel System in the sales.x

This pushchair compatible with a maxi cosi car seat with adaptors, and the maxi cosi has an isofix base available. I like the xpedior because the handle bar is really high. I like that the carry cot converts to a seat so you don't have to find somewhere to store either of these. The thing I don't like is that when in seat mode you have to remove the seat to fold it down. With my Oyster and Sola you can fold them with the seat on.

If we decided to go for baby number 3 then i still have my newborn car seat and base from when my daughter was a baby (shes 10 now though) we will probably use that to be honest as with the prams ive been looking at the car seats dont have a base and hubby is not patient enough to strap the seat in each time! id be worried he would do it wrong! So if we use the base and car seat that he managed fine with before then we can just get a pram/pushchair suitable from birth. It wont be compatible or match our car seat but no big deal really! Cant justify paying loads extra for a car seat and base when we have a perfectly fine one already! The money we would save we would put towards a really good next stage car seat for when baby was older!
