Great Panorama Tour with an Excellent Guide

Our family of 5 did the Panorama day tour which covers the natural area highlights surrounding the Blyde Canyon area - spectacular. Also a lovely lunch stop at the Chubby Pig at a beautiful spot on a river. Steff the owner was our guide & he was excellent - informative, friendly & helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for Steff re pickup & drop off, and also assisted with our local shopping needs and our airport transfer the next day.

Steff took my husband and I from our lodge to the airport. We loved the personal touches and Steff was very kind! My husband accidentally left his headphones in the car and Steff contacted us to attempt to return them when he found them. We would definitely use Vast Horizon again!

My husband and I had such an amazing day with Steff at Vast Horizon Tours, during our honeymoon to South Africa! We hired Steff to pick us up from our safari location at Lion Sands, drive us through the Panorama Route for a day, and drop us at our next hotel in Hoedspruit. Our experience with Steff began when I first reached out to him for a quote, several months before our trip. He was a great communicator, prompt to respond, accommodating, and very reasonably priced. When it came to our actual tour day, Steff arrived promptly (actually quite a bit early!) and was there to welcome us as we returned from our final safari game drive. He patiently waited us while we gathered our belongings, and off we went in his very comfortable SUV. Steff curated the day perfectly according to our needs. We fit in tons of wonderful stops along the route, from the Graskop Gorge Lift to Bourke's Luck Potholes, and stopped for lunch at Potluck Boskombuis which was a real highlight! Perhaps even more fascinating than the sites was our conversation with Steff throughout the day. We talked all about his experience growing up in South Africa, the culture, political climate, his past experience as a safari guide, you name it... It really felt like spending the day with a friend. It was a perfect day that I won't soon forget, and I can't recommend Steff & Vast Horizon Tours highly enough!!

Fool and Scholar Productions is the creative team of producer Travis Vengroff and writer K. A. Statz. Together they create works of audio fiction spanning genres from horror, to science fiction, and more. They have been creating audio drama podcasts and audio entertainment since 2014.

CREATOR, WRITER

Kaitlin Statz is the writer and creator of VAST Horizon. She has a BA in Anthropology from New College of Florida and a Masters in Archaeological Sciences from the University of Oxford. Her interest in history and lore stems from a place of cultural and scientific understanding. She is also an artist with a love of supernatural fiction, cartography, and archaeological illustration. She lives with her husband and their rescue dog, Eezo.

Travis Vengroff

Producer, editor, sound designer.

Travis Vengroff is the producer of VAST Horizon. With a strong tendency toward creativity, Travis attended the New York Film Academy, the Allegro Music Academy, and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with bachelor’s degrees from the Universities of South Florida & Miskatonic. He has over 8 studio albums of audio editing experience and toured the US and Europe as the frontman of Orlando’s #1 rock band. He’s also a video game voice actor, the manager of a diverse publishing company, and a regular contributor for the Russian magazine Mir Fantastiki. Travis lives with his wife and their rescue dog, Eezo.

Siobhan lumsden, dr. nolira eck.

Siobhan Lumsden is a voice actor, a storyteller and a sinologist. Growing up in mystical Scotland, Siobhan used this as a catalyst for her imagination and threw herself into all things creative. She went on to study Acting & Performance at Dundee College, and then her path led her to South Africa where she pursued a BA in Drama and Chinese. She then spent the next eight years in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong studying Mandarin, working as a voice actor for China’s biggest animation company and travelling as much as possible. Whilst in China, Siobhan co-founded Shenzhen Stories- a storytelling community with monthly events, and she also hosts her own podcast called  The Lost Art of Little Things . Siobhan currently resides in Cape Town, South Africa with her fiancé and when she’s not recording in her home studio or working on her novel, she can be found with her nose in a book or sniffing out the latest vegan restaurant.

Tanja Milojevic

Tanja Milojevic is a Serbia-American voice actress and one of the early adapters to the modern audio drama movement. She has brought many characters to life on dozens of shows including NoSleep, The White Vault, Liberty, Organism, Ancestry, You Are Here, What’s The Frequency, Greater Boston, Edict Zero, Pulp-Pourri Theatre, A Scottish Podcast, LightningBolt Theater of the Mind, and VAST Horizon. Tanja lives in Boston with her friend and service dog Nabu.

DR. JIANG & CHEN JIANG

Ewan Chung hails from the Virginia/DC metro area. A veteran actor of film, television, and theatre, he has been working more frequently as a voice-over artist, oftentimes specializing in Asian and Mandarin-speaking roles. It all began with voicing minor characters for Cowboy Bebop: The Movie and a recurring role for the Ghost in the Shell: Stand-Alone Complex series. This led to video games, then commercial VO and loop group work providing background voices for various films and TV shows. In the past few years, he has expanded to audiobooks (Audible, Recorded Books, Scholastic) and now fictional podcasts! Based out of Los Angeles, he is often writing, singing, eating, speaking Chinese and French, and in various projects like the sci-fi pilot Near Extinction: Shangri-La and sci-fi web series Atropa on Studio+.

Jordan Cobb

Jordan Cobb is an actress, writer, and an avid storyteller. A fan of radio plays and books on tape from the time she could walk and talk, Jordan made her first forays into the world of podcasting by creating and performing in the high seas adventure audio drama Here Be Dragons (as Harper Bennett & Dr. Atlas), and the new science fiction horror series  Janus Descending  (as Chel). Jordan has been featured on over a dozen audio dramas since then, and when she isn’t comfortably settled behind the mic, she’s buried up to her ears in paper and ink, dreaming up new worlds of the wild, weird, and wonderful. Brandon Strader

Brandon Strader is an accomplished musician and composer/arranger from West Virginia. Strader is an active member of numerous online communities such as Dwelling of Duels and The Materia Collective, with over a dozen highly regarded albums to his name. When not mixing audio for VAST Horizon, The White Vault, Liberty, Anasi Storytime, or any number of music projects, he’s cooking, playing video games, or on adventures with his fiancé.

A. R. OLIVIERI is a writer, director, producer, voice actor, anxiety suffer, impostor, and French fry addict. Mostly though, they are the creator of the podcasts  2298 ,  L I M B O ,  Magic King Dom , and  Great & Terrible . They live in Austin, TX.

Daniel Demerin

Daniel Demerin is a voice actor, writer, artist, and developer. Co-creator of the animated series, Little Devils (coming soon), Daniel has a BA in Computer Animation from Ringling College of Art and Design and a cliche degree from the School of Hard Knocks. Being a passion-driven individual with a heavy penchant for characters and storytelling, Daniel was actually given his first break in the voice-acting world working with Fool and Scholar Productions where he gained the understanding of the lived-in experience of powerfully-written characters. This was a catalyst for sending Daniel down a roller-coaster adventure into the realms of immersive worlds and incredibly engaging yarns. Residing in Sarasota, Florida (for the time being), Daniel is also an avid rock-climber, martial arts practitioner & teacher, and all-around fitness junkie.

Lani Minella

Lani Minella is a renown voice actress who has voiced over 500 video game titles, anime shows, cartoons, television shows, radio commercials, phone systems, audio books, car navigational systems, toys, and much more. She is best known for voicing Nancy Drew, Luke (Professor Layton), Wert and Adria (Diablo), Ivy (Soulcalibur), and Rouge the Bat (Sonic the Hedgehog). She can also be heard at Legoland and various Disney rides! Lani’s unique 4-octave range and finely-honed mimicry skills give her unparalleled vocal mastery. When not providing voices for Bethesda, Blizzard, or the dozens of projects she’s a part of, she can be found teaching vocal techniques, gardening, and spending time with her family of rescue pets.

CAPTAIN SARPON

David Ault was first introduced to audio dramas though the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy radio series, which he memorized as a child. Many years later, whilst looking for Time Lord-based audio drama he came across audio groups online and decided to try voice acting. In the fifteen years that have followed he’s played God, the Devil, and just about everything in between. David has degrees in maths and astrophysics and is known as a storyteller, actor, science festival organizer, math, and science tutor, and an astronomy talker for hire. David’s love for ghost stories helped him discover and subsequently become a part of the NoSleep podcast, and in 2013 he won the inaugural Best Actor award at the Audioverse Awards for his role as Byron in The Byron Chronicles. David was also the lead in Colonial Radio Theatre’s presentations of Moonfleet and War of the Worlds. He co-hosts the Sonic Society, a weekly showcase of new audio drama, and can now be found on Audible narrating the works of Idries Shah. He lives in North Yorkshire with his husband, and can still quote the Hitch-hiker’s Guide.

L. Jeffrey Moore

L. Jeffrey Moore is an actor and filmmaker who lives in Berkeley California. He came into podcasting via the hit series ars Paradoxica where he played Lou Gaines. He’s been on a number of other hit podcasts such as The Far Meridian, Star Tripper, Making Movies is Hard, and The White Vault. He is currently the creator and host of his own show, Lj Presents. Jeff got into creating as a young boy when his father took him to see Richard Donner’s “Superman.” That movie changed his life and his love for creating started at that moment. He received his BFA in theater from NCA & TSU and studied briefly at the prestigious American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, CA. When Jeff is not leaping tall buildings and saving cats from trees, he and his 10 year old son Banneker spend their time studying the ways of the Force.

CONSTANCE ANTWI

Sam is a voice actor based in Malaysia. Apart from her fluency in Mandarin (mother tongue), English (bilingual native), and Malay (national language), Sam also speaks some Cantonese and Spanish. Both sporty and artsy, Sam switches between singing and playing the ukulele to basketball, badminton, swimming, and pool. She also teaches women realistic self defense as a certified instructor from Kapap Academy Singapore. Oh, and she loves her shih-tzu, Ocean very much!

David Devereux

David Devereux is a writer, musician, sound designer, and audio producer based in Glasgow. Originally starting out as a bass player, they moved on to music and sound design for short films, before moving into the (somewhat warmer) world of audio fiction. They currently produce audio fiction podcasts as Tin Can Audio (The Tower, Folxlore, Middle:Below) and have previously worked as an audio editor for Rusty Quill (Stellar Firma), and as a director with BBC Sounds (Murmurs). When not making strange noises (or reading very long and very old books), Devereux spends their time trying to write things, reading through a mountain of books while simultaneously buying more, occasionally performing, and occasionally sleeping.

From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.
