Five Iconic Places to See on the Warner Brothers Lot

Warner Bros. Studio Tour Burbank

Fans of movies and TV shows aren’t going to want skip going on the Warner Brothers Tour when they’re visiting Los Angeles. From shows you grew up with, movies you fell in love with as a kid (or flat out scared you), there is history all over as you go through the tour.

Hop on the tram, get ready to see some moments in movie history you wont forget. And don’t worry, there are moments you can get off the tour for pretty amazing photo opps including downtown S tars Hollow Gazebo and the Friends Fountain ! Your tour will end at a small museum with other sets and photo opp locations you wont want to miss!

The Growing Pains House

growing pains house set

No doubt you grew up watching Growing Pains like the rest of 80’s kids. But the house the Seavers lived in – is still standing and still being used for other shows. The front of the house is probably the most recognizable and was used for exterior shots, but the inside was on a sound stage. From the front door to the porch where many talks happened, the the garage out back where Mike moved into the upstairs apartment (that totally wouldn’t fit in there in reality).

growing pains house set Elvira

But it’s not just the front of the house that has a lot of history. The back of the house has been used in a lot of different movies and shows including Elvira , and more recently is the entrance of Kim’s Antiques in Gilmore Girls . Keep an eye out for this picket fenced entrance, you’ll start seeing it featured in a lot of different shows you already are watching.

The Spider-Man Upside Down Kiss Location

Spider-man Movie Upside Down Kiss Location

In the 2002 Spider-Man movie, between all of the action scenes and fighting we get one moment of pure romance – that upside down kiss! The rain is pouring, Spidey is upside down hanging from a fire escape after he just saved Mary Jane and she kisses him as he hangs there. It’s romantic, and from what we’ve told not exactly easy to do. And where was it filmed? On the busy street set on the Warner Brothers Lot – just like any other busy scene you’ve seen in their shows and films that have a lot of brick buildings and fire escapes. You’ve seen this street a lot in Friends and other shows – but this fire escape itself, that is the location of that kiss that made fans melt.

Do You Want to Buy a Gremlin?

Gremlin's Filming Location

If you grew up in the 80’s and 90’s there’s no doubt you saw Gremlins , and it’s subsequent sequels. Depending on how old you were, the movies either were some of your favorite or they terrified you (I may be in the later category). But the story all starts when Sam buys a Mogwai named Gizmo and the stairs he goes down to the basement shop to get him? Right off the city street set there on the Warner Brother’s lot! Where do those stairs go now? We’re not really sure, but may venture down them next time to find out!

Be on the look out for the animated series The Secrets of Mogwai coming soon from Warner Brothers as well!

Walk Down the Same Streets as Blade

Blade Filming Location

Long before the MCU blew up and super heroes took the theaters by storm we had Blade . Arguably one of the least family friendly comic book heroes, and the first African American one that made it to the screen. But this Vampire that can walk in the day light did so right down this street on the Warner Brother’s lot. The studio tour will take you right past this city street and should point out the iconic buildings used for the movie and other films as well.

Lakeside Dining like in Million Dollar Baby

Million Dollar Baby Restaurant Location

Do you remember the lake side restaurant in Million Dollar Baby ? It lives on the Warner’s Brother lot too. The lake is actually a water tank that can be filled and used when needed and drained when not – and the building looks a lot smaller in person.

What’s on the other side of that “lake”? From the other side, the other side it’s actually the swamp from True Blood and you can find the building for Merlotte’s Bar and Grill . What a useful little pond in the middle of “The Jungle” there on the lot!

You’ll be amazed at just what else you’ll find on the Warner Brother’s lot, including the set of The Big Bang Theory, Friends, Central Perk , Fuller House and a lot more. You can get lost in the the different sets and the memories of what else was filmed there.

Warner Brothers Studio Tour Hollywood Reopens With Major Expansion, Including an All-New Batcave

The expanded tour includes a special visit to the worlds of DC and Harry Potter.

Warner Brothers will reopen its Studio Tour Hollywood this month with an expanded tour, guiding fans on a trip through 100 years of movies and TV history. Located in California, the Studio Tour will allow visitors to get closer to special sets based on some of Warner’s biggest franchises, such as Friends , Harry Potter , and the DC Universe.

Talking about the reopening, Studio Tour Hollywood VP and general manager Danny Kahn said that “entertainment is about connecting with fans and we are thrilled to welcome guests back to the tour after a more than 15-month hiatus.” As part of the expansion after-pandemic, Kahn underlined that the “new experiences will take guests on a journey through our history, how we bring stories to life and celebrate the DC Universe and Wizarding World.”

The expanded tour includes the "Storyline Showcase," where guests can explore the Warner Bros. story from its cinema chain origins in 1923 to its transformation into one of the biggest media giants in Hollywood. Among the main attractions of the new area is a replica of the iconic water tower you probably recognize from Warner’s logo.

The fan-favorite Studio 48 stop is still part of the tour, guiding visitors through the Central Perk set from Friends and Sheldon’s apartment set from The Big Bang Theory , before dinner is served in a fully-functional Central Perk Café. However, a new grand finale experience promises to blow fans’ minds, as they are taken through both the DC Universe and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Amongst the attraction of “Action and Magic Made Here” there’s an all-new Batcave, featuring the authentic Batmobile from Tim Burton ’s Batman , the Tumbler from The Dark Knight , and the Batwing from Batman v. Superman . Other treats for fans include the Lasso of Hestia from Wonder Woman 1984 , and Jared Leto ’s Joker and Margot Robbie ’s Harley Quinn costumes from Suicide Squad .

Fans of magic will also explore recreated sets from Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts , where they can make their dream of being surrounded by Hogwarts acceptance letters at the Dursleys’ fireplace come true. Guests will also be able to learn more about the magical creatures of the Wizarding World in Newt Scamander’s Shed of Magical Creatures. Finally, to those wishing to acquire exclusive merchandising from their favorite franchise, a new Warner Bros Studio Store will be open to the public without a Studio Tour ticket purchase.

The Warner Brothers Studio Tour Hollywood will welcome families with children five years and older starting June 26. If you plan a visit, check the safety protocols on the official website by going to this link . Check out some more images below:

Harry Potter, Gilmore Girls, Spider Man....etc

this is the one and only studio tour I have done so far. The day before my friends and I were trying to decide on which if the various studio tours to do, decides on the WB! Glad we picked this one. The people that work there are really nice and were very understanding when we called saying we were stuck in traffic and weren't gonna make our tour, so they scheduled us 2 hours later. It was also good we called because the 3 of us that went each paid online separately and were put in 3 diff tour groups. You first go in as a huge group and sit in a little theater where they have a video of all the tv shows and movies put out by the WB. After that you break off into your smaller group and load onto a tram with your guide. Our guide was really nice, she asked everyone what a few of our favorite tv or movies filmed here were so she could take take to talk about or show us those specific places. The many interesting things we saw... -Merlots from true blood -pond from the frog Budweiser commercial -stars hollow(gilmore girls)/eastwick -growing pains house -ally where spider-man kisses Mary Jane -central perk (friends) -car garage w/ batman cars, shaguar, mystery machine...etc. -props room -the wb water tower thing Many other places. We also got to see the set of the Mentalist because they were off set shooting. The gift shop is small but really great. Being a huge Gilmore Girls fan I was excited to find a coffee mug that said Lukes on it. over all the $50 it cost is way worth it. And you get a free green screen photo of your group at the end. I actually visited in April of 2010, but it wont let me chose a earlier year!

For me the 2h15min was way too short. Most of the time we spent just driving around in the cart. I only saw one part of a real set (not including Friends). They should show more inside the studios. Was it nice? Sure, but for the price and lenght could have been much better.

We had a great time touring the Warner Bros Sudio in December with our guide Carly. She drove us around in groups of 12 on stretch golf carts and was very knowledgable and entertaining throughout the entire tour. We saw The Big Bang Theory, The Mentilist, the WB Museum and the various "Back Lot' locations. Find Eddie in the Warner Brothers Museum and ask about some WB history. Good value and a fun gift shop which is not to be missed. Takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

I took the 1 pm VIP tour with a friend on January 9, 2012. We were assigned to Group A, which had the maximum 12 guests. Group B had only 7 guests. After watching the 10-minute pre-tour movie, we were taken outside to board our respective trams. Since we had a full tram, I had to sit between two people (not the most comfortable location). I did not like this so I asked our male tour guide if my friend and I could move to Group B's tram. He looked at me in a weird way and didn't say anything at first. I repeated my question and he said, "Why?" I stated that since Group B only had 7 guests, their tram had empty seats and more room. So he asked the female guide (Anne) if she could take two more people, and she said yes. I was perturbed by his behavior even before we began the tour. Fortunately, Anne brightened my mood by her cheerful and enthusiastic personality. The remainder of the tour was great. I learned a lot about WB movie history and the current TV shows. I thought the complimentary photo in front of the Hogwarts train was cute and a nice souvenir. Prior to the start of the tour, my friend and I grabbed a quick lunch at the WB Cafe. They had a nice variety of salads, sandwiches and grilled items - all cooked to order! The prices were reasonable and the large dining room was nice and clean. Like another reviewer stated, enter the parking lot on Avon Street from Riverside Drive. It is very easy to find the VIP Tour parking lot, which charges $7 per car. Most importantly, don't forget to bring a government-issued ID or passport. They check for IDs when you pick up your tickets at the Tour Center. You will also go through security, where your bags are hand-searched and you walk through a magnetometer.

Myself, my niece, and my 2 teenage daughters were part of a tour that we thoroughly enjoyed in late December. It is a very interesting tour for any movie/TV buffs. Our excellent tour guide, Scott B., was very knowledgeable about the studio and gave us an extraordinary amount of information about past movie scenes, music video scenes, and current TV filmed on the various outdoor sets we toured and at the WB studios in general. He was able to give us information that catered to all of our age groups and the various movies/TV that we would be familiar with - 40's, 30's and teens. It was so fascinating to hear about how the sets were used in such different ways, changing hardware, signage, using green screens, etc; even the history of the studios was interesting. My girls loved all of the Pretty Little Liars sets, the Harry Potter costumes, and we all found it so interesting to tour through the "jungle" and the steet sets as well as some of the props rooms, some cars from movies such as the Batmobiles and the set from Friends. We finished off with a special soundstage visit. I can honestly say that, all around, the tour was actually much better than expected, just chock-full of information, and though we did not see any celebrities (we did not expect to see any anyway!), we would highly recommend it (and Scott as a guide) to anyone. Thanks for a great afternoon and making it a highlight of our trip to LA.

A great tour which varies depending on the day and the guide. Much better than universal studios if you are interested in movie or TV making rather than theme park rides.Great for Harry potter fans too. Unfortunately photos not allowed for most of it.

Which Is The Best Hollywood Studio Tour For You?

Posted on Published: June 29, 2019  - Last updated: February 26, 2024

Categories North America , California , Travel

There are four major Hollywood studio tours that you can go on in and around Los Angeles : Warners Bros., Sony, Paramount, and Universal Studio Tours.

It’s really not necessary to do all of them , especially on the same trip. There’s quite a bit of overlap between each studio tour, and the ticket prices can really add up.

Throughout my visits to California, I’ve managed to visit all 4 Hollywood studio tours in Los Angeles (and some more than once!).

Here’s my in-depth reviews of all the major Hollywood studio tours in Los Angeles. This is what to expect from each one so you can decide which is the best studio tour in los Angeles for you!

Psst! This blog post contains affiliate links in it which sends me a bit of extra money if you use them… at no extra cost to you!

Why Should You Go On A Hollywood Studio Tour?

Hollywood Studio Tours in Los Angeles are a great way to gain an “ all-access” pass to the biggest backstage lots in California .

They give you a chance to go behind the scenes on some of your favourite movies and TV shows.

You’ll get to see the sets and props, and learn about the magic of making movies. And, if you’re lucky, you might get the chance to either see a live film set or a celebrity at work .

Let’s just say, visit a movie set is a quintessential Los Angeles activity … p.s. see my L.A. guide here .

Which Is The Best Hollywood Studio Tour For You ?

The best Hollywood studio tour for you will depend on three main factors :

  • Your favourite films and TV shows

The studio tours vary in budget and tour length. The price ranges between $55 to $110 / ticket . And the tour can last anywhere between one to three hours .

But your favourite movies and TV shows are the most important factor when deciding which studio tour in Los Angeles to go to. If you haven’t watched anything the studio has produced, you’ll be less interested in what you’re seeing and learning about.

Universal Studios Hollywood Studio Tour

Universal Studios is a bit of a unique studio tour in Los Angeles. The studio tour can only be accessed if you buy a ticket to the entire theme park .

This also puts the studio tour at a much higher price point compared to the others around Los Angles. But, on the other hand, it is an ENTIRE day of activities instead of a few hours.

The tour itself is only 60 minutes but there are no shortage of other rides and shows to see once you’re in the park.

Quick Information & Links

Total Time : 1 hour (not including wait time in line) Admission : $109 -$119* (includes access to the entire park, price varies depending on the season) Book Tickets for Universal Studios Hollywood . Parking : Starts at $32* (General Parking)

You should check out this Hollywood studio tour if you’re a fan of…

  • Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas
  • Jurassic Park
  • Fast and the Furious
  • Jordan Peele’s horror epic, NOPE

Pros Of The Universal Studios Hollywood Studio Tour

You are on the LARGEST film and TV studio in Hollywood and the world! You get to drive by some of the most iconic sets in all movie history.

You drive-by the sound stages, new and old sets.

But this is still a ride in a theme park so they’ve added some more ride-like adventure elements to make things more exciting, unlike any other Hollywood studio tours in Los Angeles.

filming-dr-seuss-scene-universal-studios-hollywood-studio-tour

At times you feel like you’re in the movie rather than just seeing where one was filmed!

And it’s not all for show either, they do still use these sets to film. In fact, this was the only Hollywood studio tour where I caught a live taping , so it’s still possible to see!

One thing’s certain though, you won’t be bored for a second on this tour even if you don’t happen to see an active film set during your tour.

P.S. Make the most of your time at Universal Studios and book an Express Line ticket through Viator here . It gives you one-time express access to each ride, show, and attraction at the park !

Cons Of The Universal Studios Hollywood Studio Tour

It’s the least personal studio tour in Los Angeles. You’re on a tram the entire time for 60 minutes straight, with about 30 other people!

As I said, this tour is sometimes more of a ride than a studio tour (so it’s both a pro and a con!).

At times, the tour felt very streamlined , because most of it is. You still have a guide, but he’s following a script on a set path so it’s the same tour every time (unlike the others which have a bit more variance based on your guide).

The tram is on a set course and there are timed animatronics and effects throughout the tour.

Value For Money – Movie Location Los Angeles

I will admit, you get pretty good value for your money with your tickets to Universal studios. But that’s only if you wanted to visit the theme park.

If you were already planning on visiting Universal Studios Hollywood, then the studio tour is a must-do ride!

But if you don’t like theme parks, and your only interest is the Hollywood studio tour, I wouldn’t recommend paying for the entire theme park just for the tour.

Logistics: What To Know Before You Go

A tram leaves about every 30 minutes for the Universal Studios Hollywood studio tour so the line builds up pretty quickly. I’d prioritize this as one of your first rides of the day.

As I said, don’t expect reality with this one, they do show you real sets but it’s also still a ride. So you’ll get a lot of gimmicky routines created specifically for this tour.

Also, some advance warning, you might get wet at certain points during the ride. If you’d prefer to not get wet, try to sit in the middle of the row.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour

Warner Bros. Studio is actually in Burbank California , but it’s close enough to Los Angeles.

Warner Bros. studio tour takes you on a tram around different parts of the studio, with only around 12 guests at a time on the tour.

So unlike Universal Studios Hollywood studio tour, it’s a lot more personal and you’re only on the tram to get from place to place (because their lot is HUGE!).

You drive by sound stages and countless outdoor sets. But you’ll get off and walk around a bit, even walking in some sets if you’re lucky. So you should be prepared for some walking on this studio tour in Los Angeles!

Total Time : ~3 hours (1 hour guided, 2 hours unguided). Leaves every 30 minutes from 9:30 to 3:30 Admission : 70$* Parking : 15$* Website

So Much More Than A Studio Tour

Over the years, the Warner Bros. studio tour has grown. It’s no longer just a backlot tour, now, that’s just one part of it…

Museums, Props, Sets, & Photo Ops At Warner Bros. Studio

Tickets to the Warner Bros. studio tour also includes interactive museums where you’ll want to take all the pictures you can!

You can interact with different sets from your favourite movies and TV sets, like Friends, the Big Bang Theory and Harry Potter! on the magic of movies, costume

There’s also an entire exhibit on the DC universe with all superheroe and villain props. They have Aquaman’s lair, Wonder Woman’s study, Superman’s office, and the Batman’s bat cave.

And finally they have an in-depth exhibit on all things filmmaking. Staring with the writing process and finishing with the special effects of movie making.

Pros Of The Warner Bros. Studio Tour

They are constantly updating the Warner Bros. studio tour – that means you can even go back the next time you’re in Los Angeles, I’ve already gone back twice!

There was some over lap with the sets and information, but very little. A lot had been updated and added to the tour. And I’ve already noticed that they’ve added a lot more content since I’ve gone!

Also, the guided portion of the tour will rarely be the same. For starters, where you go will all depend on what they’re filming at the time. So not only can it change over the years, but it can change within the hour!

It’s also a very personal tour with only being 12 people on the tram. You can also all your questions about movie magic!

Cons Of The Warner Bros. Studio Tour

With all the new additions to the tour every year, I’ve noticed the guided portion has become less and less…

The guided tour portion is only hour , and then two hours are a self guided tour through the museums.

But it’s the guided portion of the tour that’s always fresh and what brings me back! I’m a bit disappointed that the museums seem to have taken over the tour now, making the tour a bit more gimmicky and less about touring real sets and sound stages…

Bring government I.D. when you visit, and make sure to arrive early!

You have to go through security and there might be a lineup. They suggest arriving 30 minutes in advance.

Don’t worry about getting lost on your way to the studios (if you’re driving there)! I followed the instructions we were given on how to get to the visitor’s centre, but my GPS brought me to the wrong gate. No need to panic if this happens to you too! The patrol was very understanding (I’m sure this happens all the time) and told us exactly where to go.

If you’re driving, there’s a parking lot across the street from the visitor’s centre (paid, of course). The studio is in a pretty secluded area, but there’s a Starbucks in the visitor’s centre .

Paramount Pictures Hollywood Studio Tour

Paramount Pictures is really interesting because it’s the last Hollywood studio still in Hollywood (well in Los Angeles).

So it’s only about a 15-minute drive from Hollywood Blvd. FYI, Warner is in Burbank, and Sony is in Culver City.

It was very similar to Warner Bros. Hollywood studio tour in terms of the scale of the studio. They have several sound stages, a water tank, and a totally customizable New York set.

Like the other Hollywood studio tours in Los Angeles, there’s a museum portion of the tour with props. Paramount Pictures one had a lot of “ unwanted ” props (those that could only be used once for the film they were designed for).

There was A LOT of props from the Transformers franchise, but there were also Star Trek, Gladiator, and Dream Girls props.

Time : 2 hours * They leave every 30 minutes from 9:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Admission : 65$* Parking : $22 – (used to be cash only)* Website

Pros Of Paramount Pictures Studio Tour In Los Angeles

The best part about the Paramount Pictures Hollywood studio tour tour was the small size of the group. There’s a max of 7 people on the tour (you’re in an 8 seater golf cart).

The tour also provided earphones to be able to perfectly hear your tour guide at all times, so they didn’t have to shout at you! There can be a lot going on on sets with a lot of noises, so the earphones were definitely appreciated.

I also liked that they provided visuals for what you were looking at during the tour. Our tour guide carried around an iPad showing examples of what a specific set was used for over the years. So instead of looking at a giant green screen, they showed us how that green screen was used in different films.

warner brothers tour spider man

Cons Of Paramount Pictures Studio Tour

Paramount Pictures studio tour taught me a few things about Hollywood studio tours in Los Angeles…

First, the quality of the tour really depends on your tour guide – they can make or break your visit. And unfortunately, you won’t really know who you’re going to get beforehand.

Unfortunately for me, my tour guide at Paramount Pictures wasn’t the best. There’s so much history to this Hollywood studio that I ended up lost most of the time because I didn’t know who or what he was referring to, I guess the references were also a bit ahead of my time…

Paramount Studio tour also really showed me how important it is to have seen (or at least heard of) the films or shows the studio produced.

So if you’re a fan of classics like I Love Lucy, Alfred Hitchcock, or the original King Kong then Paramount Pictures studio tour is a must for you!

For me, Paramount Pictures studio tour was a bit of a mixed bag. I really see the potential of this tour though, but I think you have to be a really big movie buff to enjoy Paramount Pictures studio tour.

paramount-picutres-gates

The visitor parking is across the street from the main gates. Be wary of the address on Google Maps, it brought me to the wrong gate.

When I visited, parking was cash only, so it’s always good to be prepared. There’s an ATM you can use at the end of the tour if you need (apparently no one does cash back in the area…).

Like the other tours, you have to show I.D. and go through security, so they ask you to arrive 30 minutes before your tour . But, in case there’s no wait at all, there’s a mini-exhibit you can visit to pass the time before your tour starts.

Make sure to bring water and food, there’s really not much in the area. But drinks aren’t allowed on the tour itself, so leave it in the car!

Costumes Paramount Studio Tour

SONY Studio Hollywood Tour

SONY Hollywood studio tour ended up being my favourite studio tour . We were only about 5 people on this tour, so it was very personal. But I don’t know if this was the max, or that fewer people happened to sign up for it.

I know online there are 25 spots per time slot. I don’t know if that’s the typical tour size on a busier day, or if they would always split you up into smaller groups once you get there.

There are famous cars on display from movies and shows (like Breaking Bad and Ghostbusters). They also have a prop museum at the start of the tour. There’s even an Oscar and an Emmy award you can see (and even hold!).

Time : 2 hours * Leaves 4 times a day: 9:30, 10:30, 1:30 and 2:30. Admission : 55$* Parking : Free Valet Website

sony pictures studio tour

Pros Of The SONY Studio Tour

SONY is a MUCH smaller studio than the other three Hollywood studio tours in Los Angeles. That means you don’t even need a tram to get around, we walked everywhere (so you should also be prepared to walk!). This made it easier to take appreciate it all and take pictures!

I also absolutely loved our tour guide, he was by far my favourite out of all the ones we had on any tour. It didn’t seem like he simply memorized a script. It was as if he lived and breathed SONY and films in general. I would’ve believed it if he’d told us he grew up on set.

We also got the chance to walk on to a sound stage from one of my favourite TV Shows – The Goldbergs. And our guide brought us onto a working foley stage (where they create extra sounds for movies).

If a sound or foley stage isn’t available to see, you are guaranteed to see either the Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy set . They film on opposite days, so you’ll always be able to see one of them.

But the best perk of all is… You get your picture taken on the set of either Jeopardy or Wheel of Fortune, which they’ll print out and give to you as a souvenir… FREE OF CHARGE! ! Seriously when is anything ever free these days…

Cars Sony PicturesTour

Cons Of The SONY Hollywood Studio Tour

As I mentioned, there’s no tram for the SONY Hollywood studio tour. Although the studio isn’t as large as the others, you have to be prepared to walk quite a bit.

Another sort of pro and con is that it’s 80 % outdoors . So you really want to go when it’s decent weather. And be prepared to be in the sun!

Value For Money – Hollywood Studio Tours In Los Angeles

I think you get a lot of value for your money at SONY studio tour. It’s the cheapest out of any of the Hollywood studio tours in Los Angeles and they give you some nice freebies (like parking and a photo souvenir!).

The scale of the studio might be smaller than the other three major studios, but there’s still a lot to see. And despite the lack of big blockbuster sets, they make up for it in different ways (like seeing the inside of a game show set, and a foley stage).

Like Warner Bros. and Paramount Pictures studio tours, they ask that you arrive 30 minutes early to go through security.

If you drive there, they offer FREE valet parking in the Overland lot.

The studio is very much out of the way, so plan your meals and snacks in advance. All they had at the studio was a vending machine .

Don’t expect to see large outdoor sets like from Warner Bros. or Paramount, SONY is a lot smaller, so most of their sets are on sound stages. So if you’re interested in the big New York outdoor sets, SONY isn’t for you!

sony-studio-tour

Overview, What’s The Best Studio Tour In Los Angeles?

Like I said before, Universal Studios is the most expensive, but you do get an entire days worth of activities. But if your intent is to learn about movie magic, the other three are better choices.

If you have time for more than one, you don’t need to see both Warner Bros. and Paramount Pictures. There’s quite a bit of overlap between the two. Instead, choose one of those, and then either Universal or SONY as your second option.

P.S. Need A Place To Stay In L.A.? Hotel Recommendations

Finding a place to stay in Los Angeles can be quite overwhelming – it’s HUGE!

I stayed at the Sofitel and would highly recommend it. It was in a safe area, and across the street from the Beverly Hills mall (which proved to be very convenient). It was also within walking distance to some local restaurants you need to try – like the Kings Road Cafe! See room rates & availability here .

If you want to stay on the beach outside of the city life instead, we stayed at The Georgian in Santa Monica and couldn’t recommend it enough! It’s only about a 25 minute drive from the city. This was a beautiful art deco hotel that is begging you to go there! It’s a minutes walk to the beach, Santa Monica Pier, and the Third Street Promenade. See room rates & availability here .

You've gotten me excited about my next trip to Los Angeles. I've done the Universal tour and the Warner Bros tour, so I may do what you suggested and do Paramount and Sony next.

You're right about Universal's tour being more of a ride from what I remember. However, it was cool to see sets from The Good Place, Jaws, and Psycho. Being on the tram the whole time was a little different, and my experience was a bit thrown off because I hadn't expected Universal, CA to have such similar rides to Universal, FL, and I loved how Universal, FL made it really seem like you were on a set walking through various cities. Definitely not the same as CA. I think I was there for about 2 hours and was done. The weather was weird where it was kindof warm at first, but then turned super cold while I was in line for a ride, so I was done sooner than I expected.

I absolutely loved the Warner Bros tour. The guide was super nice and knowledgeable. I almost died when I saw the Gilmore Girl house and Luke's Diner. Of course I took pictures at the Central Perk. To me, the prop museum was a tad boring, but still overall decent. The tour was partially walking and partially riding. There were so many moments where I was like...."this looks familiar" and had to think of where the set had been used. Super cool. I highly recommend it.

Wednesday 27th of September 2023

That's awesome!! Definitely I enjoyed that the Warners brothers was mixed with walking and a tram ride you were able to get so much further that way - and the lot is HUGE! It really is cool seeing sets from your favourite TV shows and movies! I really liked the SONY tour but it was definitely a lot smaller than Warner bros!

MCU Spider-Man Director Jon Watts Producing Next Movie at Warner Bros.

Placeholder

Marvel Studios has been responsible for bringing many actors and filmmakers to the forefront of Hollywood; the Russo brothers were sitcom directors before  Captain America: The Winter Soldier  and Tom Holland was an unknown actor in his teens. Among this ever-growing list is Jon Watts, the director responsible for bringing the MCU's  Spider-Man  trilogy to life.

Since  Spider-Man: No Way Home  became one of the biggest movies of all time, Watts has built himself a busy schedule for the coming years. The filmmaker is taking the lead on  Star Wars: Skeleton Crew  for Disney+, developing a blockbuster for Apple TV+ with Brad Pitt and George Clooney, and producing  Final Destination 6 .

Even with Watts' growing roster of upcoming projects, many remain optimistic that he will be back for  Spider-Man 4  as Sony and Marvel Studios reunite for a second wall-crawler trilogy . Now, the filmmaker's next movie has been announced as he joins the Warner Bros. ship.

Spider-Man's Jon Watts Joins Warner Bros. Project

Tom Holland and Jon Watts

According to an exclusive report from Deadline ,  Spider-Man  director Jon Watts has signed on to produce Disaster Wedding  at Warner Bros. The comedy flick comes from breakout director Max Barbakow, following the success of 2020's  Palm Springs .

Writer Dave Holstein is currently at work on rewriting the original script from Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer. Watts will be joined as a producer by Andrew Kortschak. Jesse Ehrman and Chrystal Lee will oversee the project on behalf of Warner Bros.

Disaster Wedding  joins Watts' expansive roster of projects that includes  Star Wars: Skeleton Crew , an untitled movie with George Clooney and Brad Pitt for Apple TV+, and  Final Destination 6 . There remains no word on the director's future with Tom Holland's  Spider-Man  franchise ahead of the fourth installment.

Will Jon Watts Return for Spider-Man 4?

Having found fame from the success of his  Spider-Man  trilogy, Jon Watts has set himself up for a busy few years with two producing credits, a writer/director job, and developing a Star Wars series. With all those projects in mind, one can only wonder whether he will have time to direct  Spider-Man 4  when it eventually comes to fruition.

There are currently no signs of  Spider-Man 4  entering production anytime soon as Tom Holland has reportedly yet to renew his contract and Sony has yet to formally announce the sequel. As there has been no indication of any strong progress on a script or hiring, production is unlikely to begin before late 2023 at the earliest, placing the release into late 2024 or 2025.

So, with the  Spider-Man  franchise still on hiatus, Watts' schedule may well be more open by the time the fourth installment comes around. The filmmaker's latest hiring also adds to the explanation behind Watts' departure from Fantastic Four   as he takes time away from the Marvel universe to develop other projects.

Nonetheless, Watts is clearly building strong connections across Hollywood projects in the works for Warner Bros., Disney, Apple, and possibly Sony. Who knows where that will take him in the future, but with a major Star Wars series in the works in the MandoVerse, Watts clearly isn't shying away from working in the biggest franchises.

Spider-Man 4   has yet to set an official release date, but Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige recently confirmed Peter Parker's future street-level direction in the MCU .

About The Warner Brothers Studio Tour

One of the best ways to get a feel for the behind the scenes of movie production is to go on a studio tour, and the Warner Brothers Studio Tour is tons of fun.

Daffy and Bugs Bunny are greeting visitors at the studio tour entrance

Warner Brothers Studio Tour Entrance

A guide will drive you around the studio lot for about 2 hours, tell you about the history of every nook and building and answer any question you have. Our guide was Bailey, she was super knowledgeable and friendly. Before we headed out she asked what our favorite movies were so she could take us to the spots where they were filmed and share some insider facts about the production process. All the tours have some common stops but they are also somewhat customized according to the requests of the guests. So, if there is something you very much desire to see, don’t be shy, speak up at the beginning when asked.

Fans of Harry Potter, Batman and Friends are sure to have a blast as there is a plethora of significant items used in the movies on display.

The guided tour ends at Stage 48 where you may spend as much time as you wish exploring the many exhibits housed there.

Here are some of the highlights of the guided Warner Brothers Studio Tour:

  • Cafe Sur Le Lot – the coffee shop from La La Land the movie. Los Angeles has actually dedicated a day to the La La Land movie, April 25th is now officially La La Land Day !
  • The Bat-mobile garage – Oh my gosh, all the cars used in the movies are here and they are unbelievably cool, even for someone like me who is not particularly a huge fan of comics this was amazing to see!  According to our guide it cost one million dollars to build each car and they were designed by the directors. Also the lead actors didn’t actually drive the cars, those scenes were done by stunts men. There is also a Batman sign you can turn on, and a Batman statue here. This was absolutely the coolest surprise on the tour, I always thought there was some post production magic to those cars, but I was wrong, they are very real.
  • The Harry Potter props , including the sorting hat, which you can try on and will choose which house you belong to ( I got Gryffindor, yay)
  • New York/ Pasadena/ Los Angeles, basically a few urban streets with buildings and alleys which have been used in numerous outdoor scenes in shows and movies like Friends, Big Bang Theory, Spider Man, etc.

Also here are the green rooms where you can ride a Nimbus or a Bat-mobile look-alike and have a 2 minute video and photos taken of you. Of course before you exit you go through a gift shop, then a bus will take you back to where you entered the studio.

Every single employee I met at Warner Brothers Studio Tour was remarkably welcoming, friendly and helpful! I had a great time, so much so that I would do this tour again. They also have a VIP tour which runs about 6 hours but as much as I enjoyed myself I think 6 hours all together would be a bit tiring.

Doing a tour like this will give you a better appreciation of how much work, skill, attention to detail and effort go into Hollywood magic. It does not take only actors and directors, who tend to get the spotlight and accolades, to make a great film. It is also the various talents of costume designers, lighting and sound technicians, post production teams, the crews who build and rebuild the sets, who all come together to bring those pictures to life.

Here’s why Warner Bros. promoting Spider-Man No Way Home Trailer

' src=

Warner Bros. Official Instagram handles were seen promoting Spider-Man No Way Home.

It came as shocking for everyone that Warner Bros who is an owner of DC Extended Universe is seen promoting Marvel New Spider-Man No Way Home on their Instagram handles. Why is Warner Bros promoting their biggest Rival Movies?

Official Warner Bros Italy and Turkey Instagram handles were seen promoting the new Marvel Spider-Man No Way Home trailer. Meanwhile, Fans believe that it’s all possible because of Multiverse, but that isn’t the case.

Well, the answer to the most complex question is rather a simple one. As per reports , the International Warner Bros. signed a distribution deal with Sony Pictures in Italy in 2011, where Warner Bros. will release all Sony’s movies, and Spider-Man No Way Home is a part of it.

After the agreement, Sony Pictures has closed its Rome office. The company said The agreement will result in “substantial” cost savings for Sony.

“We believe this decision is the smartest and most efficient way to continue serving theaters and audiences in Italy,” Rory Bruer, president of worldwide distribution for Sony said.

Here’s the Full Press Release:

WARNER BROS. PICTURES INTERNATIONAL AND SONY PICTURES RELEASING INTERNATIONAL FORM STRATEGIC DISTRIBUTION DEAL IN ITALY

Warner Bros. Pictures International and Sony Pictures Releasing International have entered into a new distribution agreement in Italy, it was announced today by Rory Bruer, President of Worldwide Distribution for Sony Pictures Releasing and Veronika Kwan-Rubinek, President, Warner Bros. Pictures International Distribution. Under the terms of the agreement, Warner Bros. Pictures International will release Sony Pictures films in Italy beginning July 1, 2011.

This strategic agreement adds to the strong commercial relationships that Sony and Warner have formed with various companies around the world, including long-standing arrangements between both companies in Portugal and Turkey.

The new distribution structure will result in substantial savings for SPRI, which will close its office in Rome. “We believe this decision is the smartest and most efficient way to continue serving theaters and audiences in Italy,” said Bruer.

“We have a great working relationship with Sony through our existing ventures, and we are very excited to be distributing Sony’s product in Italy,” Kwan-Rubinek said.

Does this Mean Warner Bros. can use Spider-Man in DCEU?

Warner Bros. can use Spider-Man in DCEU?

This is the most common question that arises when fans find out the deal between Warner Bros and Sony Picture. The answer is No, Sony can’t sell the movie rights to Warner Brothers. Nor Warner Bros can use Spider-man in their movie because movie right isn’t real property. The contract is limited to the distribution of the movies only. They’re monopolies granted by a mixture of contract law and state legislation.

The Spider-Man franchise is not transferable to another entity as Marvel still owns the rights of the Spider-Man franchise. Marvel makes more money from Spider-Man merchandise alone than they make from movies.

However, the Snyder fans are furious that because Warner Bros haven’t promoted their own movie Zack Snyder Justice league as they are promoting Spider-Man No Way Home.

This is why Warner Bros. promoting Spider-Man on Instagram Handles. Marvel New Spider-Man will hit theaters on December 17 with Massive star-cast . Do tell us in our comment section how excited you are to see SpiderMan on the big screen.

They are phrases that have become part of America’s lexicon: “Here’s looking at you, kid.” “Go ahead, make my day.” “I don’t have to show no stinkin’ badges.” “He-e-e-re’s Johnny!” “Made it, Ma! Top of the world.” “What we got here is a failure to communicate.” “We rob banks.” “Win just one for the Gipper.”

All those quotes we hold dear share one thing in common: They originated in movies from Warner Bros. The little studio that began in 1923 by four brothers, the sons of Polish Jews who immigrated to the United States, is still producing hit TV shows and movies.

‘Invincible’ Creator Robert Kirkman on That Spider-Man Cameo, Recasting Ezra Miller and Splitting Season 2 Complaints: ‘I Understand’ It Was ‘Not the Best’

Invincible

SPOILER ALERT: This article contains spoilers for the Season 2 finale of “ Invincible ,” now streaming on Prime Video, plus light spoilers for upcoming storylines in the “Invincible” comic .

Just shy of three years after the Season 1 finale of “Invincible” streamed on Prime Video, the final episode of Season 2 has arrived at long last — and there was just as much bloody, superhero action.

The battle leads to some eye-catching, alternate-universe cameos. In one callback to the original “Invincible” comic, Mark crashes into a web-slinging superhero named Agent Spider who’s fighting a tentacled villain called Omnipotus — a clear parody of Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus. Actor Josh Keaton, who has voiced Spidey in “The Spectacular Spider-Man” and other shows, even cameos as Agent Spider. In two more scenes, Mark talks to a cape-wearing, bat-themed superhero off camera (hello, Batman!) and runs across some talking zombies (an homage to “The Walking Dead,” also from “Invincible” creator Robert Kirkman ). Even a gun from the popular video game “Fortnite” appears, several months after it featured a crossover with several “Invincible” characters.

Before Mark can land a blow on Angstrom, the villain brutally attacks Debbie. This infuriates Mark and he grabs hold of Angstrom, fighting him as they’re launched into various dimensions. The two land in an empty, desert-covered world and Mark seemingly kills Angstrom — but the villain has escaped death before. Stranded with no way back home, Mark is left alone to think about his actions. Before all hope of returning is lost, a future-version of the Guardians of the Globe teleport in and saves him. Just as Mark leaves, this alternate Atom Eve (Gillian Jacobs) confesses that she loves him but had never told him.

With Variety , creator Kirkman explains how those Marvel and DC cameos came to be, recasting Ezra Miller ‘s voice role from Season 1, what to expect in Season 3 and more.

Let’s start with all those multiverse cameos. How did you get Josh Keaton back to voice this alternate Spider-Man?

It was just trying to figure out a way to keep that moment somewhat intact from the comics. It seemed like something that would be a fun and surprising way to do it. Amazon legal, painstakingly, was like, “No, the costume can’t be that color. We gotta get away from this and that.” There were a lot of eyes on that scene. We wanted to find an actor who had done Spider-Man before. [Supervising director] Dan Duncan came in immediately and was like, “Josh Keaton needs to do it. ‘Spectacular Spider Man’ is a great series.” He had worked on it and said Josh was great. He seemed like the best possible choice because it’s animation to animation. It seemed like it would be a fun thing. That said, he’s not playing Spider-Man. That’s Agent Spider. There might be some similarities, but I think Josh’s nuanced performance as Agent Spider is completely different than the way he played Spider-Man in “Spectacular Spider-Man.” But who knows? My opinion may be somewhat biased.

Were you on the phone with Marvel lawyers about what you could and couldn’t do?

No, I mean, I’m pretty sure Marvel found out about it today. So, we didn’t call any Marvel lawyers or anything. No, that was Amazon’s legal department’s job to make sure that Marvel didn’t need to know.

Onto the DC side, did you have to reach out to them about putting Batman in the finale?

Listen, I think that sequence might seem to imply a certain thing that isn’t there. That’s not Gotham City. That’s not Batman. That’s a completely different bat character that Mark is referring to. If the audience is inferring a certain thing from it, I don’t have control over that. The audience gets to take from it what they will, but it was never our intention to imply anything remotely close to the Batman character.

I’ll take your word for it! What about the zombies? Were there any specific walkers from “The Walking Dead” that you wanted to put in?

These zombies that are in the “Invincible” show are talking. They have nothing to do — they’re completely different. No, no references whatsoever. Not the answers you’re looking for!

Ok, last one: How did you get the “Fortnite” sniper rifle into Mark’s hands?

Looking ahead to Season 3, will we see Oliver age up more quickly, due to his Thraxan blood, like he does in the comics?

Yeah, you can definitely expect that character to age rapidly the way he did in the comics. Where we begin Season 3, at what stage he’s at, that can remain a mystery. But we’ll definitely see different versions of him along the way.

There are two major Viltrumite characters in the comics that must be appearing in the show soon: Conquest and Thragg. Do you have actors in mind for those roles yet?

I’ll say, without saying who it is, that one of those two characters has already been cast.

Where will we see Mark and Eve’s relationship grow in Season 3?

What you see at the end of Season 2 is kind of the first beginnings of an evolution of their relationship. That’s the story that is really going to be one of the core aspects of Season 3: what their relationship is, where it goes, how it changes and evolves. Whether they’re together or not, officially, remains to be seen. But there’s definitely a lot going on with Mark and Eve that will continue into Season 3 and hopefully beyond.

What about Nolan and Debbie’s relationship? We see Nolan admit that he misses his wife, but will he ever be truly redeemed after all the death and destruction he’s caused?

Those sequences, when we adapted them from the comics in Season 1, were heightened substantially. So I think the show is going to have a lot harder time doing anything close to a redemption with Nolan than we had with the comics. This moment where he’s realizing that he actually cares for Debbie and is legitimately missing her is kind of the beginnings of seeing who Nolan’s true character is. I don’t think it’s a change in his character. If you go back and you rewatch the first two seasons, knowing that moment, you’ll see things, especially when we first see him in Episode 4 of Season 2 and follow him from Earth to Thrax and we see what he’s going through, you kind of get a hint that there’s a lot more to him. There was a lot more going on with him internally during those moments at the end of Season 1. Exploring his character is something we’re going to be doing for the duration of the show.

With Angstrom seemingly gone for now, who are the primary antagonists going forward?

The Viltrumites as a whole, especially over the course of Season 2 with Kregg’s directive to Mark and Anissa’s interaction with him and the hints at more to come, have pretty much established themselves as the major threat to this show. There will always be other villains, like Angstrom Levy, that pop up and maybe become the main antagonist for a season or two, but the undercurrent in the show is always going to be what’s going on with the Viltrumite threat.

Looking back at the first two seasons, what have you learned going into Season 3?

What has the reaction to splitting Season 2 into two parts been like from fans?

I’ve certainly heard from people who didn’t care for it. I understand that when you’re enjoying a thing and it gets taken away and given back to you at a later date — not the best. But it was a necessity for the production of Season 2. Overall, I think it went well. The response to the last half of Season 2 has very much been, “Wish there hadn’t been a split, love the last half of Season 2.” We’re still hitting number one on the Amazon platform. I don’t think it caused any real, lasting detriment to the show. But, you live and learn so we’ll have to see how things go moving forward.

Are there any characters or storylines you’re most excited for people to see in Season 3?

I don’t want to reveal exactly what we’re doing. There’s a lot of great stuff with Cecil Stedman. We get to see a little bit of his backstory and get to know a little bit more about him as a person. The relationship between Mark and Eve is evolving in some really exciting way. It was very important to us in Season 2 to show that this is the Mark Grayson-Invincible show; it’s not the Omni-Man show. Omni-Man was very present in Season 2 and he’s a really big part of the show, but I worried a little bit coming out of Season 1 that people were like, “Oh, I love that Omni-Man guy. I want to see more Omni-Man.” So we took a little bit of a pause on Omni-Man for Season 2. He’s gonna be in Season 3 a little more.

Speaking of Cecil, his story is intertwined with D.A. Sinclair, who was voiced by Ezra Miller in Season 1 and recast in Season 2. What was the decision behind the recasting?

Like we saw with the Rick Sheridan role that was played by Jonathan Groff in Season 1 and Luke Macfarlane in Season 2 and similar to “Game of Thrones” when you have a cast that’s this large and you’re recording in different times, sometimes availabilities are going to shift and recasting is going to be necessary. I think it’s going to be something that’s going to happen from time to time with this show. I think that Eric Bauza is an immense talent and I am loving working with him, it’s a real opportunity to work with somebody that is so experienced in animation and has the skills and wealth of experience that he has. And I hope that Warner Bros. figures out a way to release the “Coyote vs. Acme” movie.

Warner Bros. Pictures at CinemaCon 2024: Everything Announced and Revealed

Joker: folie à deux, furiosa: a mad max saga, beetlejuice beetlejuice, and much more..

Adam Bankhurst Avatar

CinemaCon 2024 has officially kicked off and many of the big movie studios are in Las Vegas ready to show off what the future holds for each of them. We here at IGN are in attendance and will be breaking down all the big news from the biggest presentations.

We must sadly share, however, that not everything is released to the public right away after a presentation, do we will do our best to describe as much as we can so you can learn more about your favorite upcoming films!

Warner Bros. Pictures' presentation was the first we attended and was highlighted by Joker: Folie à Deux, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. We also got a new look at Kevin Costner's Horizon and M. Night Shyamalan's Trap.

Check out all the big news from Warner Bros. Pictures' CinemaCon panel below and be sure to stay tuned for more coverage as the week continues. And be sure to let us know what your favorite reveal was at CinemaCon!

Joker: Folie à Deux First Trailer Unites Joaquin Phoenix's Arthur Fleck With Lady Gaga's Harley Quinn

As we mentioned, not everything shown at CinemaCon is released to the public. Luckily for DC fans, the first trailer for Joker: Folie à Deux was and it is already taking the internet by storm.

In the footage, we see parts of Joaquin Phoenix's Arthur Fleck and Lady Gaga's Harley Quinn relationship. What is perhaps most striking is how it appears to switch from what could be described as their romantic delusions to a grimmer reality. It also looks to confirm a big change in Harley Quinn's story in that she will now be a patient at Arkham Asylum rather than a psychiatrist.

Director Todd Phillips took the stage to discuss the film and confirmed that while the sequel is not a full musical, music will be an "essential element." It also apparently won't "veer" too much from the original film and that Arthur Fleck has always had "music in him."

Joker: Folie à Deux will hit theaters on October 4, 2024.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga Footage Shows Anya Taylor-Joy on a Mission

The above trailer is not from CinemaCon.

Those in attendance at Warner Bros. Pictures' CinemaCon panel were treated to an extended sneak peek at Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. The few moments on display showcased the early life story of Anya Taylor-Joy's Furiosa and her arduous journey to avenge her mom and lost childhood. We also saw some of this story in the most recent trailer for Furiosa.

Director George Miller also stopped by CinemaCon and said Furiosa will take place over a span of 16-18 years of backstory and Taylor-Joy shared that this is "the story of one woman's committment to impossible hope."

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga rides into theaters on May 24, 2024.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Is Almost Back After 36 Years of Waiting

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice took center stage at Warner Bros.' presentation and we were shown new footage of the sequel in action alongside previous clips from the trailer. We get good looks at Keaton's Beetlejuice, the Deetzes - Winona Ryder's Lydia, Catherine O'Hara's Delia, and Jenna Ortega's Astrid - and even Willem Dafoe's character. Lydia also seemingly confirms the film will deal with the dead and the living trying to co-exist.

Keaton has seen the film two times now and says it is "really f***** good" and that Ortega is "just perfect" in the movie and got what they were going for right away.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice opens in theaters on September 6, 2024.

Mickey 17 Trailer Shows the Many Lives of Robert Pattinson's Mickey

The first trailer for Mickey 17 was shown at Warner Bros.' panel and showed how Robert Pattinson's Mickey is an "expendable" asset who can be reprinted whenever he dies. The film is based on Edward Ashton's Mickey 7, but director Bong Joon-ho of Parasite fame changed the title to Mickey 17 because he kills Pattinson's character 10 more times than the book did.

The footage featured Pattinson acting against himself multiple times in this futuristic sci-fi world and Bong-ho knew he could play all these different versions of Mickey because he has a "crazy thing in his eyes." We also got to see Mark Ruffalo's dictator character, his wife who is played by Toni Collette, Mickey's girlfriend who is played by Naomi Ackie, and Steven Yeun, who will be playing Mickey's "strange buddy."

Mickey 17, which really is the story of a "simple man who ends up saving the world," will be released in theaters on January 31, 2025.

Horizon: An American Saga Gets a Breathtaking First Look

Footage from Horizon: An American Saga, the two-part Western epic that stars and is directed, produced, and co-written by Kevin Costner, was revealed at CinemaCon and what was shown was a breathtaking sizzle reel of sorts from the films that tell a story set in the Civil War expansion and settlement of the American West.

Costner said to the audience that he first tried to make these films back in 1988 and then in 2012 and he's so happy he now finally gets to get them across the finish line. However, his full plan for Horizon involves four movies that tell more of the story.

He also discussed how this film will explore the "promise" of America that was earned by people who claimed it for their own by being tough and resilient. However, that came at the expense of those already here. He also wants music to be an important focus for this epic and he even went to Scotland to get 92 musicians to work on the score.

Horizon: An American Saga Part 1 is set to arrive in theaters on June 28, 2024, and the second part will be released on August 16, 2024.

M. Night Shyamalan's Trap Looks to Send Audiences to a Concert Gone Wrong

M. Night Shyamalan's next film is called Trap and he told us that his daughter Saleka, who is a musician, helped him form the idea for the project. As for what the movie is about, Trap looks to tell a story of an immersive experience like a concert that turns into a thriller.

When the concert begins and the singer Lady Raven (played by Saleka!) comes on stage, something terrible happens and you come to find out this has all been a trap to capture a wanted serial killer who is played by Josh Hartnett.

Trap will be released in theaters on August 9, 2024.
