2Hawk Vineyard & Winery
The Oregon wine industry is thriving! 2Hawk Vineyard & Winery is proud to be a part of this burgeoning region, and we are excited to share our wines with you. Please visit us in our beautiful tasting room , where you can savor our wines while enjoying spectacular views of the Rogue Valley and the surrounding mountains, from Mt. Ashland to Wagner Butte.
We ’ re True to Our Roots
2Hawk Vineyard & Winery is named after the two hawks who have soared over the estate and vineyard since its original planting. The hawks remind us of our connection with the earth and inspire us to be mindful, gracious, and aware of this land. Our estate-grown, handcrafted wines express our vineyard’s natural beauty and singular terroir. We invite you to share in its bounty.
The 2Hawk Vineyard
Our vineyard sits in a unique microclimate of Southern Oregon. The dry, hot summer days are quickly cooled in the afternoon by a refreshing breeze, which—while it may frustrate golfers at nearby Centennial Golf Club—delights the vines, yielding an exceptional fruit quality for wine.
Our History
Established in 2009, 2Hawk’s vineyard has undergone intensive and continuous improvements by the current owners. Since its completion in 2012, the tasting room has become a gathering place for sharing the splendor of this distinctive estate. In March 2014, Ross and Jennifer Allen purchased the vineyard and winery from the original owners and moved to the estate.

The Rogue Valley is one of those places not many people know about and the locals like to keep it that way. A transplant town(s)for many Californians and home to generations of locals, this valley is full of back to nature, anti-establishment, mind your business and I will mind mine, type of folks. From Grants Pass, known for it's climate, home of my personal favorite, Dutch Bros Coffee and the iconic Hellgate Canyon down to Ashland's very own Shakespeare Festival, the historic Jacksonville's Britt Festival and pathway to Applegate lake and it's growing wine country, across the valley to Eagle Point and Shady Cove with some of the best cold water rafting you will find. This is truly a hidden treasure. It's not a booming metropolis in terms of monetary standards, but for someone in search of nature, fresh mountain air, clean rivers and lakes, Southern Oregon is a community based on quality over quantity and locally grown products and services. In terms of spiritual enrichment and life satisfaction, one could easily argue the value of life leans more toward these things than expensive chains and name brand clothing. The Rogue Valley has grown significantly since I lived there over a decade ago. The old pear orchards are now vineyards, the industrial areas are now shops and breweries. There are actually a couple of bars open later than 9pm. With growth has come growing pains and Southern Oregon is no stranger to the issues that come with a growing population. The valley has always had a challenge with jobs and offered little opportunity for average middle class families to find sustainable work. Unless you own your own business, are independently wealthy or have decided to retire from another state (California), there's not much in the way of work. Hopefully, as the valley continues to grow, so will the job opportunities for the locals. So yes, there's more to Oregon than Portland and Nike, but the general ideals are the same. Live free. Live clean. Live happy. I'm proud to be a granola girl from Oregon!
Terry took four of us on a wine tour over the 4th of July weekend. He customized the tour for the holiday, found us outdoor seating (it was a beautiful sunny day) and made the day absolutely wonderful. From the very beginning the email communication back and forth was excellent. He called us right before he picked us up (also customized to wherever you stay) to let us know he was on the way and timely arrival just added to his great customer service. His van was spotless to travel in comfort. He also had water and bags for anyone who had a little too much wine. Terry's style adapted to ours and with many choices of wineries to visit, he asked our preferences and delivered in spades. He narrated as we drove through the beautiful countryside and told great stores. He was professional and best of all, he just turned us loose at each winery, never hovering or pushing us to move to the next one. Instead, he dropped us off at the front door for the tastings and all but disappeared to the nearby parking lot and just waited until we were done. All we had to do was return to the van, or text him and he was there for us. A perfect and relaxing way to spend the day and we are already talking to our friends about going again. I highly recommend Rogue Valley Wine Tours for anyone wanting to sample wine and enjoy your day.
I have been going to Ashland for years but this was my 1st time taking a wine tasting tour there. I found this company online and I am sooo happy I booked w them. This is a husband/wife company. I booked w Janie but Terry was the driver/ tour guide extraordinaire!! Since I didnt know the area and I was going to be drinking wine I knew I would not be driving. This company will pick you up from your hotel or desired location and drop you off and the end if the day. There is another wine tour co in the area that is a "hop on/hop off" type tour but w/RVWT you can stay as long or as little as you want. Terry who grew up in this part of Oregon is the nicest, friendliest person and took my sister and me to some incredible places and made sure that we went to at least one winery that served food. We took the Bear Creek tour on a Thurs and enjoyed it so much we booked the Applegate Valley tour for the following Sunday! It was such a great value for a very private and personalized tour.We hope to take another tour w RVWT in March. If you're thinking of going wine tasting you should really check them out! Thank you Terry for an amazing time!
