My ultimate goal in life is to show kindness and love to everyone I come across. I believe that is the most important thing I can do with my life. I strive to support those I know the best I can so they feel loved and able to pursue their dreams. That goes for both my professional and personal life.

I have two amazing teenagers who I homeschool. It’s tough but worth it. And we are nearing the finish line. I see victory ahead! 🙂

My sweet husband works at Marvel Studios Technology and that is really fun! He loves his job. It’s behind the scenes  but he has gotten credits on a couple of movies and shows and there are more to come! We have been married for almost 23 years. He is 100% my biggest cheerleader and he indulges all the adventures I plan for our family!

I was born in California and grew up going to Disneyland. That fostered a deep love for Walt Disney and what he created there. As I grew older and had kids I loved seeing things anew through their experiences. We branched out to cruises and other types of vacations, but we always seem to come back to Disney.

My Favorite Places to Travel

As a teenager I saw the movie Roman Holiday. From that day on I vowed to some day visit Italy. In 2015 that dream came true and I will never forget it.

My absolute favorite moment was when we were visiting one of the little villages on the Amalfi coast and a group o f schoolchildren on a field trip gathered on the steps of the cathedral and just started singing a song for fun. It was such a special moment.

I lived in Tennessee for many years and visited Walt Disney World quite a few times. But my heart has always belonged to Disneyland.

I love going to Dapper Day at Disneyland. It’s so fun to see everyone dressed up in their vintage looks and imagine what it was like when Disneyland first opened.

Have you closed Wolski's? Tavern celebrates 115 years of business

Wolski's Tavern celebrated 115 years of business with a block party.

Patrons gathered outside the business for drinks, local food trucks and live music on Oct. 15. The event was free to attend.

The family owned bar is an Eastside hidden gem; serving drinks and popcorn since 1908 near E. Pulaski St. and N. Kane. For decades, the tavern has handed out "I Closed Wolski's" bumper stickers to patrons who stay until closing time; making it an iconic city symbol.

Owners say the anniversary party is a celebration of the community built at the bar.

"We have the best patrons in Milwaukee," said co-owner Bernard Bondar. "I mean we're just flattered. People come in with old memories. It's just humbling for us."

The event wrapped up at 6 p.m., but people were encouraged to stay until Wolski's closed at 2 a.m.
