• Standard check-in time at the hotel is normally 2:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am. An early check-in, or a late check-out is solely based on the discretion of the hotel.
• A maximum of 3 adults are allowed in one room. The third occupant shall be provided a mattress/rollaway bed.
• The itinerary is fixed and cannot be modified. Transportation shall be provided as per the itinerary and will not be at disposal. For any paid activity which is non-operational due to any unforeseen reason, we will process refund & same should reach the guest within 30 days of processing the refund.
• Also, for any activity which is complimentary and not charged to GBO & guest, no refund will be processed.
• AC will not be functional anywhere in cool or hilly areas.
• Entrance fee, parking and guide charges are not included in the packages.
• If your flights involve a combination of different airlines, you may have to collect your luggage on arrival at the connecting hub and register it again while checking in for the onward journey to your destination.
• Booking rates are subject to change without prior notice.
• Airline seats and hotel rooms are subject to availability at the time of booking.
• Pricing of the booking is based on the age of the passengers. Please make sure you enter the correct age of passengers at the time of booking. Passengers furnishing incorrect age details may incur penalty at the time of travelling.
• In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangement for an alternate accommodation will be made in a hotel of similar standard.
• In case your package needs to be cancelled due to any natural calamity, weather conditions etc. GoingBo shall strive to give you the maximum possible refund subject to the agreement made with our trade partners/vendors.
• GBO reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to: Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels / flights, cancellation / re-routing of flights, closure of /entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.
• Certain hotels may ask for a security deposit during check-in, which is refundable at check-out subject to the hotel policy.
• The booking price does not include: Expenses of personal nature, such as laundry, telephone calls, room service, alcoholic beverages, mini bar charges, tips, portage, camera fees etc.
• Any other items not mentioned under Inclusions are not included in the cost of the booking.
• The package price does not include mandatory gala dinner charges levied by the hotels especially during New Year and Christmas or any special occasions. GoingBo shall try to communicate the same while booking the package. However GoingBo may not have this information readily available all the time.
• Cost of deviation and cost of extension of the validity on your ticket is not included.
• For queries regarding cancellations and refunds, please refer to our Cancellation Policy.
• Disputes, if any, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.
• Dudhsagar Waterfalls is closed in the monsoon (June - September).
• Activities related to water sports are subject to weather and wind conditions on the ground.
• The cost of mentioned tours and transfer is not valid between 6 pm to 8 am.

DETAILED DAY WISE ITINERARY

Day 1 - arrival in athens.

Upon arrival at Athens International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure. If time permits depending on your arrival time to Athens, you may enjoy one of our optional tours. (Cape Sounion or Athens By Night Tour with Traditional Greek show). Overnight stay in Athens.

Day 2 - Athens

After breakfast at hotel, pick up for our Athens Sightseeing Tour. Our Athens Half Day Tour begins with a panoramic drive around Syntagma square, passing by many sightseeing hot spots such as National Garden, Hadrians Arch, St. Pauls Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Catholic Cathedral and Schliemanns House. We will then drive past the Athens Trilogy which includes the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, and the National Library. Our licensed guide will make you feel as if you are experiencing firsthand Athenss old and new history as you look at these stately buildings. We continue for a photo stop at Panathenaic Stadium, otherwise known as Kallimarmaro Stadium, where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896. As we proceed, we pass by Zappeion and the Temple of Olympian Zeus. Last but not least, we make our way to the archaeological site of Acropolis, an UNESCOS world heritage monument and we visit Propylae, as well as the small Temple of Athena Nike. Of course, our visit shall not be completed without the Parthenon and Erechtheion. The expert guided Athens sightseeing and museum tour continues with a pleasant short walk passing by Herodion and Dionysos Theater, in order to visit the New Acropolis Museum. With this Athens half day tour you will enjoy one of the top UNESCO'S world heritage monuments. At the end of our tour, return back to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure. Day 3 - Athens & Santorini

Early breakfast and departure transfer to Athens Port Piraeus to embark on the ferry for Santorini Island. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Santorini. Balance of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Santorini.

Day 4 - Santorini

Enjoy 3 days in the well-known island where you can follow the caldera path or enjoy the breathtaking sunset in Oia village. You can visit the Akrotiri archaeological excavations or just relax at one of the particular beaches of the island. Make sure that you have visited Imerovigli and Oia villages with their romantic sunset, before leaving the island During your stay on Santorini Island, you will also have the opportunity to go on a Volcano & Hot Springs Tour (on shared basis, not private), visiting Nea Kameni lava island, Palea Kameni, Santorini lava island & Hot Springs, Thirassia island, Cruise under Oia and have free time for swimming during cruise.

Day 5 - Santorini

Day 6 - santorini, day 7 - santorini & athens.

Enjoy your last few morning hours in Santorini Island. According to ferry schedule, transfer to the port of Santorini to embark on the ferry for Athens. Upon arrival at Piraeus port, transfer to hotel in Athens City Center. Balance of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Athens.

Day 8 - Departure from Athens

Breakfast at the hotel, morning at leisure for your last minute shopping or strolling down the streets of Athens. Depending on your international departure flight, transfer to Athens International Airport.

Online/Offline registration process for Chardham Yatra

Pilgrims planning a Chardham Yatra 2024 are required to get a registration done before proceeding to Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. With the help of biometric registration, the state government can receive regular updates of pilgrims' locations for security, data, and mitigation purposes. The registration process, both offline and online, is quite easy. You will have to register yourself at any one of the centres falling on the 4 Dham Yatra routes. Reach Gangotri By Road:

Temples to visit on Char Dham Tour

Yamunotri temple, uttarkashi.

Dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, Yamunotri Temple is located at an altitude of 3923 meters near the foot of Kalind Parbat (peak). It is the first temple that travellers visit on the Char Dham circuit. According to legends, the temple was the home of Asti Muni, an ancient sage, which makes it extremely popular amongst Hindu devotees. The main sanctum of the temple houses a black marble idol of Yamuna along with a white stone representing River Ganga. As the Yama Dwitiya (second day after Diwali or on Bhai Dooj) approaches, the temple closes its portals, and the temple authorities shift the idol to Kharsali village for the winter season. The idol is brought back to the main temple on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya (occurring in April/May), marking a grand celebration by devotees.

Gangotri Temple, Uttarkashi

Located at an altitude of 3100 meters in the Uttarkashi district, the holy abode of goddess Ganga, Gangotri is the second ‘Dham’ of the Chardham Yatra. Gaumukh Glacier, around 18 kilometres away from the temple, is the point where the River Ganges originates. It is believed that taking a bath in the freezing water of Gaumukh Glacier can relieve one from all the sins. The temple remains open for pilgrims for only six months, starting from the festival of Akshaya Tritiya till Diwali. During the winter season, the idol of Goddess Ganga is worshiped at Mukhyamath temple in Mukhba village, around 18 kilometres away from the main temple.

Kedarnath Temple, Rudraprayag

One of the 12 Jyotirlingas and an important temple of the Char Dham tour and Panch Kedars (a group of 5 Shiva temples in Garhwal Himalayas), Kedarnath Temple is sacred to Lord Shiva. To reach the temple, pilgrims have to trek for 14 km from Gauri Kund. The main sanctum of the temple (also known as Garbha Griha) houses the idol of Lord Shiva along with Lord Krishna, Pandavas, Draupadi, and Kunti.
