Vaar mee over het IJsselmeer en de Waddenzee: wie weet spot je nog zeehonden! De cruise start in Amsterdam, waar het schip aan het eind van de middag vertrekt richting Hoorn, bekend van de Scheepsjongens van Bontekoe en in de 17e eeuw een van de belangrijkste centra voor de Verenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie.  We vervolgen de reis naar Kampen, aan de monding van de IJsseldelta. De grote koopmanshuizen, kerken en stadspoorten bepalen het aanzicht van deze oude Hanzestad. Via het IJsselmeer en met een uitstap naar de Waddenzee vaart het schip naar Harlingen, één van de Friese elf steden. Vanuit deze havenstad kun je een ontspannen fietstocht langs het IJsselmeer maken.  Tot slot bezoeken we het sfeervolle vissersplaatsje Enkhuizen, met zijn mooie herenhuizen en het Zuiderzeemuseum dat in het teken staat van de maritieme geschiedenis van de voormalige binnenzee. Je verblijft in... Het luxe cruiseschip Royal Emerald is een zeer comfortabel schip met een moderne uitstraling. De hutten zijn ruim opgezet en de meeste bedden kunnen eventueel uit elkaar worden geplaatst.  De crew doet er alles aan om het je naar wens te maken en je te verwennen met de heerlijkste gerechten. ’s Avonds is het goed toeven onder het genot van een heerlijk glas wijn en live muziek. Je verblijft op basis van volpension verzorging (ontbijtbuffet, lunch en viergangendiner).  Het is mogelijk een drankenpakket bij te boeken. Gedurende het verblijf zijn dan de gehele dag bier, huiswijn, softdrinks en mineraalwater inbegrepen. Opgave bij reservering en te betalen aan boord.

Deze reis is daar perfect voor. U gaat met de bus naar Düsseldorf en vanaf daar vaart u naar prachtige plaatsen als Keulen, Bonn en Koblenz.

• Dag 1: Arnhem - Düsseldorf (bustransfer) - Keulen Vanuit Arnhem vertrekt u om 10.00 uur per comfortabele touringcar richting Düsseldorf. Zodra we rond het middaguur bij het schip aankomen staat de lunch in het restaurant voor u klaar. ’s Middags heeft u nog de gelegenheid om de binnenstad van Düsseldorf te verkennen. Aan het eind van de middag wordt u welkom geheten door de kapitein. Waarna we de trossen lossen gooien en koers zetten naar Keulen.
• Dag 2: Keulen - Andernach De torens van de machtige Keulse Dom bepalen het silhouet van deze interessante stad. Er is tijd genoeg om Keulen te ontdekken. U kunt de Dom aanschouwen, één van de vele musea bezoeken of wandelen door de immens grote binnenstad om daarna voldaan neer te strijken op één van de vele terrassen. Tijdens de lunch varen we door naar Andernach. Aan de oevers verschijnen de eerste beboste heuvels met hier en daar een burcht of ruïne. In de loop van de avond bereiken we Andernach waar we overnachten.
• Dag 3: Andernach - Koblenz We blijven nog tot het middaguur in Andernach liggen. Vanaf de brede boulevard loopt u door de stadspoort het kleine plaatsje in. Het sfeervolle centrum herbergt nog diverse middeleeuwse gebouwen. Na een klein stukje varen meren wij bij de Deutsche Eck af in Koblenz. Deze stad heeft ondanks zijn grootte nog steeds een intiem karakter. Smalle straatjes met winkeltjes zijn er in overvloed. Vanaf onze ligplaats in de monding van de Moezel is het maar een paar minuten lopen naar het gezellige centrum.
• Dag 4: Koblenz - Bonn - Düsseldorf Tijdens de lunch komen we in Bonn aan. Het voetgangersgebied van deze stad is één van de grootste in Duitsland. In de straatjes en rondom de sfeervolle pleinen kunt u heerlijk winkelen. Bekende winkelstraten zijn onder andere de Bonngasse, de Poststrasse en de volledig gemoderniseerde Friedrichstrasse. Of brengt u liever een bezoek aan het geboortehuis van Beethoven? In de loop van de avond vervolgen we onze reis naar Düsseldorf waar we zullen overnachten
• Dag 5: Düsseldorf - Arnhem (bustransfer) De laatste dag is alweer aangebroken. Na het ontbijt nemen we afscheid van u en brengen de touringcars u terug naar Arnhem waar u rond het middaguur arriveert.

Parkeergelegenheid in Arnhem U kunt uw auto betaald parkeren in Parkeergarage Rozet aan de Langstraat, op loopafstand van de Rijnkade en de Nieuwe Kade. In- en ontschepen in Rotterdam De juiste locatie en tijd van inscheping en ontscheping vindt u op uw reisbescheiden. Het schip ligt (waarschijnlijk) aangemeerd aan de Boompjeskade in Rotterdam, tussen de Erasmusbrug en de Willemsbrug aan de stadzijde. De definitieve ligplaats vindt u terug in uw reisbescheiden. Parkeergelegenheid in Rotterdam U kunt uw auto parkeren in parkeergarage De Boompjes, Terwenakker 18 Rotterdam. Paspoort Voor al onze reizen geldt dat u in bezit moet zijn van een geldig paspoort. Ieder ander geldig identiteitsbewijs waarop u mag reizen in de landen die u bezoekt is eveneens toegestaan. Pre-night (niet bij alle cruises mogelijk) Begin uitgerust aan uw vakantie door al de avond voor vertrek in te schepen. U kunt na het betrekken van uw hut (waarin u de gehele cruise verblijft) nog een drankje gebruiken in de bar. 's Ochtends geniet u van een heerlijk ontbijtbuffet. Nadat de overige gasten zijn gearriveerd zal het schip uitvaren. Indien de pre-night bijgeboekt kan worden vindt u deze terug in het boekingsproces. Rolstoelen en rollators Het gebruik van rolstoelen of rollators aan boord is vanwege veiligheid niet toegestaan. Alle rolstoelen en rollators worden aan boord gestald. Wanneer u uw rolstoel of rollator aan wal wenst te gebruiken, wordt deze door de bemanning voor u opgehaald en klaargezet. Het aantal rolstoelen en rollators is per afvaart gelimiteerd en kan op huurbasis aangevraagd worden. Nogmaals voor de duidelijkheid: het gebruik van een rollator of rolstoel aan boord is niet toegestaan. U moet zich dus zonder deze hulpmiddelen aan boord kunnen verplaatsen. Aan wal kunt u natuurlijk wel een rollator/rolstoel gebruiken. Deze zijn beperkt bij ons te huur (tegen betaling). U kunt er dan de gehele reis, aan wal, gebruik van maken. Dit dient u bij uw boeking door te geven.

Prijs geweldig....cruiseregisseur uitstekend...eten maar zozo...6 Engels sprekenden dankbaar voor minstens vier anderen Engels sprekende.....we moesten onze eigen gidsen hebben. Ze zouden Amerikaanse koffie moeten hebben en altijd ijs. En gratis wijn en bier bij het diner

De romantische Rijn - zuidwaarts - 2024

Erg leuk, geweldige groepsrondleiding, veel verschillende rondleidingseenheden boekbaar. Lekker eten, de bediening was goed, de accommodatie aangepast en leuke animatie. Ook haalbaar als soloreiziger.

Klassieke Rijn-cruise - van Basel naar Amsterdam - MS Crucevita

De cruise was prachtig en erg mooi, vooral de Loreley Strip. Het restaurantpersoneel was uiterst vriendelijk en hartelijk. Speciale vermelding voor Ida, Kenan en Sugana. De rest van de bemanning was ook erg meegaand. De reisleiders Jessica en Jordi waren super en behulpzaam, hoewel we de enigen waren die Engels spraken, gaf ze ons het gevoel dat we erbij hoorden. Over het geheel genomen was het een erg mooie ervaring, hoewel de kamers een beetje oud zijn en de boot niet erg nieuw, maar het personeel was fenomenaal.

Legendarische Rijn-cruise - van Mainz naar Amsterdam - MS Crucevita

Dingen die verbeterd kunnen worden: 1) de veiligheidsinstructies zouden op de eerste dag van de tour gegeven moeten worden en niet 's avonds op de tweede dag; 2) de badkamer van de hut had een zeer slechte geur (andere passanten hadden ook dezelfde klacht); 3) ik had graag vers fruit aangeboden gekregen als een van de opties voor het dessert. 4) in plaats van om 3 uur 's middags aan te komen in Amsterdam op de 6e dag van de cruise, denk ik dat we de avond ervoor eerder uit Keulen hadden kunnen vertrekken; 5) ik had liever niet ongeveer een half uur van onze 3 uur durende tour in Amsterdam in een Café doorgebracht. Andere groepen in onze cruise stopten niet en konden naar mijn mening het meeste uit de 3 uur halen; 6) de tv-zenders waren voornamelijk Duits. Dat is voor mij niet logisch omdat de meerderheid van de passagiers Spaans of Engels sprak. Dingen waar ik van genoten heb: het personeel, de route.

Laat ik eerst zeggen dat de gastheer en al het personeel geweldig waren - zeer gemoedelijk, behulpzaam, gewetensvol. Zij deden alles wat zij konden om de cruise aangenaam te maken. Ze waren zeer bereid om andere talen te spreken, ook Engels, en dat deden ze goed. Het was bijzonder nuttig dat we met de gastheer, de servers, de technici, iedereen konden spreken. (We probeerden ook Frans te spreken. :) Het was leuk. Maar er waren veel moeilijkheden die te voorkomen waren: 1. Het ergste was dat onze kamer vochtig werd en een schimmelgeur kreeg. Dat kwam doordat de airconditioner oud was en op een bepaald moment in het verleden gerepareerd was met ducttape dat niet meer werkte. Er lekte water uit, dat het tapijt bij en onder een van de eenpersoonsbedden doorweekte. Een dag en een nacht lang hadden we die nattigheid en schimmelgeur. Wij vulden een rapport in (die kaarten zijn een goed idee), om 16 uur zaterdag, en iemand kwam het repareren en de vloer nat stofzuigen om 9 uur zondag. Het was duidelijk dat het al eerder een probleem was geweest. De hoofdmonteur, Peter, was zeer professioneel door mij het probleem te laten zien en het te repareren. De reden dat dit een belangrijker probleem was, is dat mijn moeder, die bij mij in de kamer logeerde, onlangs geopereerd is aan schimmel/schimmelinfecties in de neus. 2. Het bovenste 1/3 deel van het schip was niet toegankelijk voor passagiers en werd in plaats daarvan gebruikt als opslagruimte. 3. Een van de uitgangsdeuren (van het bargedeelte naar het voordek buiten) kon niet van buiten naar binnen open - iemand moest de deuren fysiek uit elkaar wrikken om binnen te komen. 4. Er wordt geadverteerd dat het schip wi-fi/wlan heeft. Het werkte echter vaak niet, of werkte zo traag dat pagina's niet laadden. Nogmaals, dit is normaal gesproken misschien geen groot probleem. Maar sommige mensen moeten hun werk bijhouden en kiezen om deze reden voor een cruise-optie. Of, zoals in ons geval, onze mobiele telefoondienst werkte niet, zodat ik de WiFi moest gebruiken om kaarten voor de reis te downloaden, onze volgende accommodatie te boeken, tickets te kopen, enz. In feite is het erger geworden sinds ik dit schreef. Ik probeer nu al een dag onze volgende kamer te boeken, en ik heb nog niet lang genoeg verbinding kunnen maken om de formulieren online in te vullen! Andere dingen waren geen problemen, alleen dingen die anders en misschien beter kunnen (gebaseerd op ervaring met andere lijnen): -Voedsel: Het was heerlijk en goed bereid. Het aanbieden van twee keuzes voor elke maaltijd zou nuttig zijn. Er was ook *veel* voedselverspilling, omdat de meeste mensen (vooral de oudere mensen op het schip merkte ik) onmogelijk zoveel konden eten als er geserveerd werd. Het hebben van (slechts 1-2) keuzes van portiegrootte of maaltijd, of het maken van één-twee maaltijden "buffet-stijl," zou kunnen helpen. -Omdat wij vaak "laat" op verschillende bestemmingen aankwamen, was het niet handig om te vertrekken en terug te keren voor onze maaltijd. Sommige lijnen bieden maaltijden in dozen aan, als de passagiers daar vooraf om vragen. -Er zouden spelletjes te leen zijn, vooral op cruises zoals de onze, die uiteindelijk regenachtig verliepen! -Zorg voor wat gedrukte informatie in andere talen dan het Frans voor kleine inleidingen op (of korte "begeleide" wandelingen) naar de plaatsen van bestemming. Op die manier hoeven de arme gidsen niet een heleboel info in meerdere talen te vertalen. (Zij wilden wel, maar de Franse passagiers waren ongeduldig....)

We konden op niets iets aanmerken. We hadden een heerlijke tijd en het personeel was zeer attent.

De bestemmingen waren goed. Personeel was erg aardig en behulpzaam. Hutten schoon en netjes. Douches alleen voor slanke en lenige mensen. Wifi was OK. Eten was OK, met geen keuzes. Wijn enz. was er in overvloed. Engels zeker in het nadeel met enkele gidsen en slechts twee TV kanalen.
