The Abrolhos Islands are amazing and they have amazing history. Thanks firstly to Edmund who changed things around so we could go, we had a small plane to ourselves as they put on an extra plane. The two pilots Cory and Daniel were so knowledgeable about the area and so friendly and down to earth, they made our day. The snorkelling was different to the Great Barrier Reef but amazing in its own right, the turquoise water is so beautiful. The pink lake is incredible from above, so many different shades of pink. This is one of the best snippets of the West Australian coast. The whole trip exceeded our expectations. From a very friendly (and very competent) pilot to an incredible snorkel on East Wallabi Island. The scenery was magnificent and the tour worth every cent. What a great suggestion! We (my son and myself) had a wonderful morning. Our pilot Lachlan was a real and good host to us. Pointing out landmarks etc The flight itself was great! I got to see the lake (even though there's not much water in it, because it's summer now. But we got much more than we expected. I really would advise this to anyone who visits this area. Someone reviewing this tour said it was the best snorkeling on the Ningaloo Reef- we needed to see the area in one day and we wanted to snorkel. It was 3:00 in the afternoon, I thought their office closed at 4:00, we needed a flight for the next day. I called and they said they could do it. I paid through their website. The next morning was super windy from the wrong direction and we delayed taking off until the afternoon when the winds were predicted to calm down. This was the last event of our 42 day Australia trip. It couldn’t have been better! Our Captain, Hayden was great! I felt confident and trusted him. Right from the start, we were treated like welcomed guests, not just another group of tourists. The island is so remote and scenic. It got busy when another two toursists landed at Wallabi from Geraldton and now there was four tourists and two pilots!. The pilots were so enthusiastic to show us everything and make sure our needs were met. Great snorkelling. Very intersting to hear the full story of the Batavia and see where it sank. Our pilot, Lochlan, was very competent, informative, and friendly. The lake was at only about 15% capacity but still spectacular. We also flew over Kalbarri, the Coastal Cliffs, Red Bluff, Castle Rock, and a few other places along the way, and Lochlan filled us in on all the information from the areas. This tour offers you the opportunity to fly to and land on the famous Abrolhos. Appreciate the vast range of sights and experiences which these exciting islands have to offer.

Begin the morning by flying over the town of Kalbarri and majestsic Coastal Cliffs before heading across Gantheaume Bay to the specatacular Abrolhos Islands.

The Abrolhos Islands is a chain of 122 islands, and associated coral reefs, in the Indian Ocean approximately 65 kilometres off the west coast of Australia. It is the southernmost true coral reef in the Indian Ocean, one of the highest latitude reef systems in the world and one of the most important seabird breeding sites.

East Wallabi Island, known for its beautiful coral and turquoise bays, is where the plane lands. From here enjoy a short walk to Turtle Bay where the morning is spent swimming and snorkelling in the protected waters of the coral reef.

Morning tea with tea and coffee is included, and discover the island on a nature walk. View the abundant birdlife, neighbouring islands and limestone cave formations.

Return to Kalbarri flying over the coral atolls and the site of the historical Batavia shipwreck.

Session Length

5 hour duration including 1 hour of flight time. Morning session 8.00am - 1.00pm, afternoon session 1.00pm - 5.00pm.

Numbers on the Day

Each voucher is valid for 1 person. The tour needs a minimum of 4 adults tickets booked for a flight to proceed. If for some reason your flight doesn't achieve the minimum, you will be re-scheduled for another day at your convenience. Max of 6 passengers.

Begin this amazing experience with a flight to remember over Kalbarri on Western Australia’s pristine west coast. You’ll capture birds eye views of the spectacular Coastal Cliffs as you fly over the glittering Gantheaume Bay and the Indian Ocean toward the Abrolhos Islands. This beautiful chain of over 120 islands and their coral reefs are located 65km off the coast and are the southernmost coral reef in the Indian Ocean, the coral reefs with the highest latitudes in the world and are home to a significantly important seabird breeding site.

Known for its exquisite coral reefs and exotic bays, East Wallabi island is your destination for the day. Once the plane lands, take a short stroll to the white sands of Turtle Bay adjacent to the contrasted turquoise shallows and spend your morning snorkelling and swimming among the sheltered waters of the reef. Begin the morning by flying over the City of Geraldton, out to the Abrolhos Islands.

The Abrolhos islands are a chain of 122 islands and associated coral reefs in the Indian Ocean, approximately 65 kilometres off the west coast of Australia. It is the southernmost true coral reef in the Indian Ocean, one of the highest latitude reef systems in the world and one of the most important seabird breeding sites.

Composed of three groups of 40 islands each, The Abrolhos boasts an incredible range of marine life and spectacular coral gardens that are excellent for diving and snorkelling while sea lions, dolphins and migratory whales are often spotted in the area.

We fly out to the Pelsaert group first before heading north to the Wallabi Group. Here we land on East Wallabi Island, known for its beautiful coral and turquoise bays. From here enjoy a short walk to Turtle Bay where the morning is spent swimming and snorkelling in the protected waters of the coral reef.

Enjoy Lunch with tea and coffee (included). Afterwards, discover the abundant birdlife, neighbouring islands, and limestone cave formations on a nature walk.

Return to Geraldton flying over the breathtaking Abrolhos Islands coral atolls and the site of the historical Batavia shipwreck.
