Tour Details
Barcelona really is two separate cities. Want to explore both? We'll start in the Gothic Quarter, where the city was founded, to explore the Roman ruins and Medieval part of the city. Next, we'll turn our attention to the Eixample district and Barcelona's Modernist architecture and legacy. Here we'll see the city's expansion and focus on some of Gaudí's most famous houses and finish outside of the Sagrada Familia. The Barcelona Highlights tour will give you the perfect introduction to the city and set you on your way to make the most of your time in Barcelona. With a private tour we can adjust the route to what you want to do, stopping where necessary! I recommend booking ahead and visiting the Sagrada Familia after a short break following our time together.

Points of interest
PASSEIG DE GRÀCIA: The most luxurious avenue of Barcelona, home to the most distinctive examples of Catalan Modernist architecture. Marvel at the surprising façades of Gaudí’s famous houses (Casa Batlló and Milà, also known as la Pedrera) . Discover the "apple of discord" - the word "manzana" (apple) also meaning, "block of houses" in Spanish.
PARK GÜELL: Towering over the lively, bohemian neighborhood of Gràcia is Park Güell. Gaudí’s peculiar architectural style was inspired by organic forms found in nature, clearly demonstrated by this dreamy collection of gardens. Discover narrow alleys with undulating forms, like rivers of molten lava, which are covered by columns shaped like trees, stalactites and other geometric shapes.
EIXAMPLE DISTRICT: This district was designed by Ildefons Cerdà after 1859, when authorities approved his plan to expand the city. (The word “Eixample” actually means “expansion” in Catalan!) Cerdà’s idea of urban planning was revolutionary and utopian, a fact you will observe directly while walking through the streets of this elegant neighborhood.
SAGRADA FAMILIA: Perhaps the most emblematic landmark of Barcelona. There are no words to describe the feeling one gets when entering this magnificent temple of Modernism. The organic shapes found throughout its structure, the light filtering through its stained glass windows and the symbolic nature of the building’s sculpted façade will probably be the highlight of this tour (if not of your whole stay in Barcelona!)
WATERFRONT: Over time, Barcelona´s coast has always adapted to the needs of the city’s people. Its latest architecture is best represented by the World Trade Center and the converted Old Port. The Old Port is now full of fantastic shops, restaurants and nightclubs, while still maintaining the charm of its past. Around the coast you will also find the Columbus Monument and the beautiful Gothic building of the Drassanes.
MONTJUÏC MOUNTAIN: Originally used as a strategic place from which to defend the city against attack, this impressive mountain borders the Mediterranean Sea. From its summit you will enjoy fantastic views of the Barcelona skyline . The mountain is home to several buildings that perfectly exemplify modern art and contemporary architecture. These include the sport facilities belonging to the Olympic Ring, as well as museums like the Miró Foundation and Caixa Fòrum. You will also discover examples of urbanism and architecture specially designed for the International Exhibition of 1929.
OLD TOWN: This is where the history of Barcelona first started. In Barcelona’s Ciutat Vella you will find a harmonious mix of modernity with Roman and medieval imprints right in the city center. Learn all about Barcelona’s origins and about some of the most fascinating Catalan traditions. Explore the charming corners, picturesque plazas and narrow alleys of the Gothic Quarter. We especially recommend a visit to Plaça Sant Jaume and the famous Cathedral.
Tour Description
Get ready to get picked up by your guide, at your accommodation in Barcelona and visit some of the most beautiful places, the city has to offer. Explore two of the most famous masterpieces of Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí, La Sagrada Familia and Park Güell . We offer the exclusive opportunity to skip the line at both sites, in order to save precious time. Hear fascinating stories about the city’s one-of-a-kind architecture, culture and history . Begin in Plaça Catalunya , Barcelona’s central square. The plaza connects to the avenue Passeig de Grácia , which features some of the best examples of Catalan architecture. Take a moment to admire the striking façades of private Modernist buildings, among them Gaudí´s famous La Pedrera . Next, arrive at the “Illa Discordia Barcelona” (Barcelona’s “Block of Discord”), which not only includes Gaudí’s Casa Batlló, but also the Casa Lleó - Morera and Casa Ametller. After having seen the highlights of Passeig de Gràcia, head through the historic and bohemian Gràcia district, all the way to Park Güell . This magical park is located on the top of a hill that provides spectacular views of Barcelona. In the park’s famous gardens, Gaudí combined his unique architectural style with elements of nature. The result is a place of pure fantasy, guaranteed to amaze you. Follow the footsteps of the same architect as we explore l’Eixample next. This district was designed in the 19th century by urban planner Ildefons Cerdà. It became an extension of the Old Town, as part of an orderly expansion strategy for the city. After visiting the majestic Hospital de Sant Pau , continue to another masterpiece by Gaudí , La Sagrada Familia . Discover the different parts of the building and the many examples of religious symbolism hidden in its unique façades. Be sure to be captivated by Gaudi’s incredible architectural style: the peculiar shape of the columns, ceilings, walls and the organic architecture of the basilica. After some time at the Sagrada Familia, continue towards the Mediterranean Sea . Along the way, pass by the Plaza de Toros Monumental and the contemporary Agbar Tower , the newest reference point for Barcelona´s stunning skyline. Reach breezy Bogatell Beach , and walk down along the coast through Port Vell (the Old Port). Continue along the port, and pass the Gothic Drassanes and Columbus monument , walking down the iconic La Rambla and ending up at the brand-new World Trade Center . From here, head to Montjuïc Mountain and our guide will point out the Mirador de l'Alcalde , a beautiful terrace with wonderful views of Barcelona’s iconic skyline. The Mountain of Montjuïc was once the main venue of the 1992 Olympics. Nowadays, you can still admire the Olympic Stadium. Encounter plenty of examples of urbanism and architecture designed specially for the International Exhibition of 1929. These include Plaça Espanya, which was influenced by St. Peter's Square in the Vatican. Other beautiful highlights of this area are The Magic Fountain of Montjuïc , the Mies Van der Rohe pavilion and The National Palace. Finally, descend from the top of the mountain to the center of Old Town, and finish the day with a relaxed walking tour through the charming corners of the Gothic Quarter. Discover the hidden imprints left by the Roman and medieval city. After stopping at the charming Cathedral Square to admire the magnificent Gothic Cathedral with its Gothic revival façade, travel back in time to the origins of Barcelona in Plaça Sant Jaume, where the old forum was located. The plaza is now home to Barcelona’s City Hall.

What to expect
This is one of the most famous boulevards in Barcelona—perhaps even all of Europe. It connects the old Barcelona with the new, with marvelous sights and scents and sounds every step of the way. We drive past here for your first taste of Barcelona.
Start with the architecture—get your first taste of Gaudí at Casa Batlló . Also known as the “House of Bones,” you can’t miss its jeweled, dragon-back facade. A bit further on, there’s Casa Milà (the locals call it la Pedrera , or the quarry), another Gaudí landmark.
Then there’s Casa Amatller, the often overshadowed but no less marvelous Modernist stunner designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch . You’ll also see Casa Lleó Morera by Domènech i Montaner—it’s a Barcelona architectural trifecta.
Passeig de Gràcia is Barcelona’s luxury shopping headquarters; brands like Louis Vuitton, Stella McCartney, Hermès, Gucci, and Chanel line the boulevard.
Wonderful cafes, fabulous galleries and restaurants make their home on Passeig de Gràcia. It’s always a favorite of first-time (and returning) visitors.
Let’s face it—if you could only see one Gaudí masterpiece, you’d choose the Sagrada Família . It really is that amazing .
The foundation stones were laid in 1882 and until COVID-19 it was planned to be completed 2026. Now, architects don’t want to adventure anymore a finishing date but it won’t be that long. What kind of building takes over a century to complete? It’s amazing to be able to visit this basilica every few years and always see new pieces, some designed 100 years ago.
Consider its three massive, ornate facades : The Nativity facade, the only completed under Gaudí himself, while the Glory facade is about to be started and the Passion facade is cloaked in controversy if Gaudí would’ve liked it..
Inside, columns resembling tree branches reach toward the ceiling. There are countless details while it remains very simple with many towers, portals, and intricate inner features. There will be 18 spires when the church is complete, and when the final tower representing Jesus Christ is finished, the Sagrada Família will be the tallest church in the world.
You skip the lines and walk right in on our tour—it’s a VIP perk reserved for our guests.
Barcelona is the busiest leisure port in the Mediterranean, and it’s got an exciting waterfront to prove it. There are miles of lovely urban beaches , endless esplanades and boardwalks, and the gorgeous expanse of the sea .
It’s the perfect melange of old and new—La Barceloneta, the charming 18th-century fishing village (with the very best seafood restaurants) side by side with ultra-modern Port Vell and the Olympic Port with Frank Gehry’s famous fish sculpture.
You’ll even see the Columbus Monument standing tall over the Plaça de la Porta de Pau while we drive along the waterfront.
The 37th America’s Cup Barcelona official opening ceremony will be held in Barcelona on the 22nd of August 2024. We are so excited about it and all the new spaces that will be refurbished!
Montjuïc , or “Jew’s Hill,” rises 600 feet above sea level and originally served as Barcelona’s first line of defense against invasion.
Today? It’s one of Barcelona’s most fascinating art destinations , home of the Fundació Joan Miró, the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya, and the CaixaForum.
If that’s not enough, there’s also the 17th-century Montjuïc Castle, the dancing Magic Fountain , and the Olympic Stadium.
And it goes without saying that the views from the top of the hill are… breathtaking. It’s the best spot to take pictures of views over the city—tried and tested.
Although it’s technically part of Montjuïc, Poble Espanyol is an attraction in its own right. The Spanish Village is an open area museum built in 1929 for the Barcelona International Exhibition.
It’s a representation of all that makes Spain unique and amazing—there are replicas of buildings and streets from different autonomous regions of Spain such as Andalusia, Aragon, Basque Country, and Cantabria, complete with craftsmen and artisans selling traditional wares.
And as you’d guess, there are some nice bars and restaurants so you can sample regional cuisines. It’s a great place to grab a bite and take in the sights and sounds of Spain .
Our Barcelona Highlights tour runs whenever you want . No matter when you’re in Barcelona, we organize it for you.

You do need to dress modestly for admission to the Sagrada Família, a Catholic church—no bare shoulders, bare midriffs, or plunging back or necklines. Shorts and skirts should hit mid-thigh.
We could finish the tour wherever you liked it the most or, of course, back to your accomodation. Our guides are happy to give you a few pointers of things to see and do.

- Barcelona Highlights tour
For your first time in Barcelona, this is the best way to get an overview of the city. I will design this private tour to make the most of your time and not miss any of the best of Barcelona.
Driving tour
1-15 People
Family friendly
The Barcelona highlights tour will start wherever you choose. A private driver and I will pick you up and drop you off wherever you want. The highlights tour is the best of Barcelona like a hop-on-hop-off driving tour, and all visits are from the outside. Although, you can always add tickets to the monuments you want upon request and customize the itinerary.
A standard tour could start in the Eixample, enjoying a panoramic view of the modern part of the city, then reach La Sagrada Família . The famous church designed by Antoni Gaudí , which is still under construction, the symbol of the city. I can show you the best place to take amazing photos, and I will tell you everything you need to know about this unique monument.
We will continue to Passeig de Gràcia, the most luxurious and elegant avenue in Barcelona, famous for its astonishing buildings. Here, Gaudí built two other monuments: La Casa Batlló and La Pedrera. We can walk along this boulevard on foot or by car. This neighborhood is like an open‐air museum of architecture and the best place to discover Modernism, the Catalan Art Nouveau style.
Another unavoidable stop is the Montjuïc Park . From the top of the hill the views over the city are spectacular. There you can visit the Olympic Stadium, the Museu Nacional d’art de Catalunya located in the Palau Nacional and the fountains of Plaça Espanya. The itinerary continues bordering the oldest part of the city, by the Passeig de Colom in front of the sea, we will see the old harbor and the Port Olímpic, the Ciutadella Park, and the original Arc de Triomf, gate, and symbol of the Universal Exhibition of 1888.
The itinerary could end, for example, at Catalonia square, the nerve center of the city. From there you can continue on your own to stroll along Las Ramblas, visit the Boqueria Market, or go shopping. If you prefer, you can complete this tour with a walking tour of the Gothic Quarter .
If you want to discover the best of the city while making the most of your time, the Barcelona highlights tour is ideal for you.
We will have a professional driver and a luxury car or van at our disposal, to take us to the places you want to visit. This saves a lot of time and we can cover a larger part of the city.
Of course, all my tours are private and personalized, so we can use the car to see the places that interest you the most.
All my tours are accessible for people with walking issues or wheelchair.
Absolutely, you can add extra hours, or choose to do a full day tour.
Official guides can skip the line and get last minute tickets at almost all tourist attractions. But it will always depend on the availability of admission at that moment. It is always better to book tickets in advance to avoid any disappointment.
The price of the Barcelona Highlights tour is starting at 210€. The prices are for your total party, not per person. Entrance fees or other extra expenses (like food, drinks, or transport) are not included. Because each visit is customized contact me for a precise budget.

PSG 2-3 Barcelona: Score, results, highlight as Raphinha scores twice to edge Kylian Mbappe and company
Barca return home with a one-goal advantage after a fine showing in paris.
The first legs of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals came to a thrilling finish on Wednesday with eight goals across two games as Barcelona and Atletico Madrid carry slender leads into the second leg.
Barcelona beat Paris Saint-Germain 3-2 in a back-and-forth game at the Parc des Princes, while Atleti took an early lead against Dortmund before beating them 2-1. Both sides will no doubt be proud of their first-leg showings but will be at a disadvantage for next week's second legs -- Barcelona's Sergi Roberto and Atleti's Samuel Lino will be suspended for those games.
Wednesday's results

Atletico Madrid 2, Borussia Dortmund 1

Five-goal thriller in Paris
Attacking was the name of the game at the Parc des Princes, where PSG and Barcelona combined for 30-plus shots and five goals. Barcelona struck first in the 37th minute courtesy of Raphinha, entering the break up 1-0 before an exciting second-half showing from both teams.
PSG nabbed their equalizer in the 48th minute through Ousmane Dembele, who scored on his former club and then took the lead in the 50th minute courtesy of Vitinha. Barcelona, though, made their way back into the game when Raphinha completed his brace in the 62nd minute and Andreas Christensen scored off a corner in the 77th minute.
The result marks the latest sign of life from Barcelona, who may have a summer of change awaiting them but showed up in a big way on Wednesday as Xavi nears the end of his time as the manager.
Atleti score early
The first goal of Wednesday's Champions League action came courtesy of Rodrigo De Paul, who took advantage of Dortmund's shaky backline to give Atleti an early lead. Lino was able to double the lead in the 32nd minute, another opportunity that came from a defensive mistake from Dortmund.
Atleti seemed poised to cruise to victory but Sebastian Haller scored for Dortmund in the 81st minute, breathing new life into his team's chances ahead of next week's second leg.
Final scores
- 37' Raphinha scores to break the deadlock in an end-to-end matchup
- 48' Dembele scores a stunner to equalize
- 50' Vitinha gives PSG a 2-1 lead
- 62' Raphina scores his second off a volley
- 77' Christensen restores Barcelona's lead off a corner
- 4' De Paul pounces on an unstable Dortmund back line to open the scoring
- 32' Lino scores a second in another weak moment for Dortmund's defense
- 81' Haller scores from close range, giving Dortmund hope in this tie
Dortmund on the board
81' Haller pulls one back for Dortmund after scoring with bodies on him, giving Dortmund some life in this tie with a few minutes left to go in the first leg.
A third for Barcelona
77' Barcelona take the lead again, this time from a corner! Gundogan takes the corner and after a small deflection from Zaire-Emery, Christensen is able to get a light touch on the ball and send it into the back of the net.
Demelbe close
75' Vitinha sets up Dembele for what is sure to be another goal for PSG, but his strike rolls just wide of the net. No one's taking their foot off the gas just yet!
Barcelona equalize
62' Raphinha does it again, this time making the score 2-2! Barcelona pounce on a bad clearance from Donnarumma, which results in Pedri playing a stellar ball just a minute after coming on and setting up Raphina to hit it on the volley. We officially have another dramatic day of Champions League action.
PSG raise the roof
What an opening five minutes or so of the second half this has been from the hosts! Luis Enrique's Parisiens have come out with renewed purpose and those Dembele and Vitinha goals have turned things around completely. Parc des Princes is rocking after a wobbly moment in the first half. These Champions League quarterfinals keep raining goals!
PSG go ahead
50' And just like that, it's two for PSG! This time, it's Vitinha who takes an impressively slick strike from close range to give his side the lead.
Dembele with the equalizer
48' PSG are off to a quick start in this second half and already have their equalizer just four minutes after the break, courtesy of an outstanding strike for Dembele against his former team. It's even in Paris now.
Back for the second half
PSG make a change for the second 45 -- Barcola is on for Asensio as they chase an equalizer.
High intensity in Paris
45'+2 PSG have been searching for an equalizer since Raphina's strike but despite dominating possession, they have not taken a shot since the 28th minute, Barcelona, meanwhile, muster the best chance since the goal but Yamal is unable to turn it into a goal just before halftime.
Barcelona on the board
37' Barcelona strike first in this high-stakes encounter, with Lewandowski and Yamal setting things up so Raphinha is able to stellarly finish off the opportunity from close range.
A second for Atleti
32' Atleti take advantage of a vulnerable Dortmund team yet again, this time developing some quick buildup play that sets up Lino for a finish inside the penalty area. It's an important contribution for Lino, who was booked five minutes earlier and will miss the second leg, but may help ensure that his side will be in good shape when they head to Germany.
Back-and-forth in Paris
30' Things are much more even now at the Parc des Princes, with both sides now posting at least six shots each. The latest comes from PSG's Lee, who forces ter Stegan to make a save. We might not have goals yet, but it's fair to say that this one is fairly entertaining in its own right for the time being.
Cleared off the line!
20' PSG's dominance gives way for a Barcelona chance, when Lewandowski gets close to scoring off a header but Mendes is there for a goal line clearance. Yamal hits the rebound but it comes off the post.
PSG dominate early
13' The hosts are very much in charge of this one at the start, with Asencio and Lee already forcing saves out of ter Stegen as PSG have more than 60% possession. Barcelona have yet to take a shot and have been stuck absorbing PSG's pressure, which they've done successfully so far but it does not feel like a sustainable strategy for them.
Atleti score first
4' De Paul scores the first goal of the day as Atleti's press takes advantage of Dortmund's unstable attempt to play it out of the back.
And we're underway
Play has officially begun in Paris and Madrid, and the hope is that after yesterday's action, something fun awaits in both of these matches.
The big occasion
PSG fans rarely miss an opportunity to make some noise -- lots of it -- and this is no exception. Wonderful pre-game tifo from the Parisien faithful who are hoping for a memorable European night at a raucous Parc des Princes.
The Barcelona way
Three of the managers in the Champions League quarterfinals learned their trade at Barcelona, where the club is developing a reputation for promising coaching talent that matches the academy prospects. Ex-Barcelona star Thierry Henry breaks down the way Barcelona teaches players and managers the game, a method in which style comes first -- and joy is paramount.
Eyes on Dembele
Mbappe may steal the spotlight, but he's not the only player who's coming in hot in terms of narrative at the Parc des Princes. Jonathan Johnson notes that Dembele is one of several players that could cause Barcelona trouble , and might just be eager to prove a point against his former club.
- Johnson: "The next major threat is an extremely familiar face in Dembele who only swapped Barcelona for Paris last summer and is already making himself at home in the French capital providing Mbappe with much of his ammunition. Although the France international is still lacking the finished product on occasions -- which will surprise none of his former teammates and staff -- he is absolutely capable of turning it on for the biggest games and this certainly qualifies. Coming up against former clubs can often be motivating and that seems likely to be the case for Dembele who had a generally mixed relationship with Barca before his exit."
Griezmann, Morata up top
Atleti are going with Griezmann and Morata in attack once again, while Fullkrug does the same for Dortmund. Take a peek at both teams' starters below.
Atleti starting XI: Oblak, Azpilicueta, Witsel, Gimenez, Molina, Llorente, Koke, De Paul, Lion, Griezmann, Morata
Dortmund starting XI: Kobel, Ryerson, Hummels, Schlotterbeck, Maatsen, Sabitzer, Can, Sancho, Nmecha, Adeyemi, Fullkrug
Mbappe starts, Zaire-Emery on the bench
To no one's surprise, Mbappe is in the lineup again for PSG, as is former Barcelona player Dembele while teen sensation Zaire-Emery starts on the bench. Lewandowski, meanwhile, leads the line for Barcelona. Here's a look at both teams' lineups.
PSG starting XI: Donnarumma, Marquinhos, Hernandez, Beraldo, Mendes, Lee, Vitinha, Ruiz, Dembele, Asensio, Mbappe
Barcelona starting XI: ter Stegen, Kounde, Araujo, Cubarsi, Cancelo, Roberto, de Jong, Gundogan, Yamal, Lewandowski, Raphinha
Mbappe in the spotlight
The headlining act of today's action is PSG's clash with Barcelona, a tie that has historically served as a showcase for some of the game's top goalscorers. Today will be no exception, especially since Mbappe has four goals in this matchup and is behind only Messi and Neymar in this category.
Hello and welcome!
The Champions League quarterfinals resume in just a few short hours and if they deliver even a fraction of what we saw yesterday, we might be in good shape. Stick around for buildup to today's big games and then live updates once they kick off.

PSG 2-3 Barcelona: Andreas Christensen and Raphinha give Barca advantage in Champions League quarter-final
Match report as Barcelona beat Paris Saint-Germain 3-2 in Paris to take control of the Champions League quarter-final; Raphinha gave the Spanish side the lead, but Ousmane Dembele and Vitinha scored to turn tie on its head; Raphinha equalised before Andreas Christensen netted a late winner
Thursday 11 April 2024 07:11, UK
Andreas Christensen scored a late winner with his first touch after coming off the bench as Barcelona used their super subs to beat PSG 3-2 to take control of their Champions League quarter-final tie.
A brilliant night at the Parc des Princes started with PSG dominating the opening 15 minutes with six shots on goal, but they were behind at half-time thanks to Raphinha's breakaway goal (37).
But PSG came out firing after the break as two goals in the space of two minutes and 13 seconds from Ousmane Dembele (48) and Vitinha (50) turned the match on its head.

Then came the arrival of Barcelona's super subs as Pedri emerged off the bench and - with his first touches - set up Raphinha (62) for an equaliser via a stunning volley.
PSG then hit the woodwork twice through Bradley Barcola and Dembele, but former Chelsea defender Christensen (77) nodded in the match-settling goal from close range from a corner just seconds after entering the pitch.

Kylian Mbappe fired wide from inside the box, before Kang-In Lee and Marco Asensio tested goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen's palms from outside the box. Nuno Mendes nearly scored a brilliant solo goal but a last-ditch block from Ronald Araujo blocked his effort inside the penalty area.
But Barcelona grew into the game after a tricky start and nearly took the lead as Robert Lewandowski beat Gianluigi Donnarumma at a corner, but Mendes scampered back to clear off the line.
Raphinha then tested the PSG goalkeeper with a stunning long-range drive which needed to be tipped wide, but the Brazilian eventually got his opener eight minutes before half-time.
Lewandowski did brilliantly to feed teenager Lamine Yamal down the right, his cross was palmed into the path of Raphinha, who found the top corner after adjusting his feet.
That goal acted as a sucker punch for PSG at half-time but the French side came out galvanised and six minutes into the second period, they had two goals to put them ahead.
First, Dembele latched onto Mbappe's cleared cross to fire a thunderbolt into the roof of the net. Then, Vitinha was slipped in by Fabian Ruiz and the PSG midfielder tucked in a finish past Ter Stegen.

Then chaos ensued in a topsy-turvy match. Lewandowski inexplicably put a free header wide from eight yards out, while PSG half-time substitute Barcola saw his rasping effort tipped onto the bar by Ter Stegen.
But just moments after Pedri was introduced by Xavi, Barcelona were level. The Spanish midfielder's first touch of the game was to control the ball, the second to lift a stunning ball over the top for Raphinha, who volleyed home with the outside of his boot.
Back came PSG in search of their lead back. Barcola was denied by Araujo's last-ditch challenge before Dembele hit the foot of the post after being played in by Vitinha.
Two minutes later, Barcelona landed the final blow. A simple corner found Christensen unmarked in the box and his header flew past the helpless Donnarumma.
PSG were shattered once again and their best chance fell to Mbappe, who had a shot deflected just wide in the third minute of stoppage time. If the Barcelona leg is half as exciting as this one, we are in for a treat.
Xavi: We defended so well vs Mbappe
Barcelona manager Xavi : "It's a big win of course, playing a game away in the Champions League. But we are missing one game in Barcelona.
"We did really well in defence and attack. Especially in defence, everyone worked for the team. Tactically, we did really, really well. The wingers helped us a lot. [Pau] Cubarsi jumped so well [up to face] Kang-In Lee, sometimes to [Marco] Asensio because they changed a lot of players.
"We defended so well against Mbappe, with [Jules] Kounde and Ronald Araujo. And we created so many chances. Raphinha made the difference, then the players that came [on] helped us really well, especially Pedri. So I'm very happy and proud of the team.
"We did so well. It's a big win, but it's just hard work. Having one game in Barcelona will be really tough because PSG is one of the best teams in Europe right now.
"We have to be proud [of our academy]. Cubarsi is 17, Yamal is 16. Fermin [Lopez] is a new player here. Players from La Masia have more commitment with the team. I'm really happy, because it's a new Barca but we are in a good way, I think.
"We are halfway there to the next round. It's a small advantage but a big win. We need to do well against Cadiz [at the weekend] then we're at home for the second leg."
Enrique: Defeat is a real pity
PSG manager Luis Enrique : "It's too soon. We need time to reflect but it was a pity. Really a pity. Because we started the match properly and in a good mood but after we conceded the goal, we were a bit disappointed.
"The second half we started in the best way for us. We could have scored the third one, but we suffered the second goal and the last goal with 2-2, we created some chances. But we still have the spirit to go to Barcelona and win.
"Sometimes you have to change things [at half-time] because of the result. The team was at a high level in the second half, they [Barcelona] didn't even cross the halfway line until the second goal. But they're a good team and played a good match.
"You have to play as a team and try to overcome that Barcelona team. We are going to go there with the best attitude and commitment to win the match."
