About Your Voyage

Groups of up to 12 guests will be entertained on either of our modern luxury vessels made for cruising. Your trip will be hosted by a trained uniformed captain. The boat and captain are fully insured and Transport Canada-approved. You can have peace of mind knowing that your excursion will be a safe and enjoyable experience.  Have more guests than 12?  Talk to us about Chartering both of our vessels at the same time or about adding a Seadoo to your experience!

Departure Location and Special Requests

We embark at several locations in Ontario including Barrie, Innisfil, Friday Harbour, Orillia, Port Severn, Gravenhurst, Bracebridge and Port Carling.  If you are staying at a resort, cottage, Airbnb, VRBO, or any other waterfront property in the area, contact us to see if we can pick you up right at your private dock!  For unique and/or more distant departure areas, one-way trips, and other accommodation preferences, additional charges may apply.

Frequently asked questions

Is alcohol allowed on board.

Yes, alcohol is allowed on both of our vessels, however as per Ontario Law, it can only be consumed while anchored or docked.

I have more than 12 people in my group. What can you do?

We can arrange a 2 or 3 person Seadoo rental for you to take additional passengers and meet up with the group when we anchor. Or, you can charter both of our vessels that we can raft up together and take a group of up to 24!

What types of events are your charters suitable for?

Docks N Locks charters cater to a wide range of events, including anniversary celebrations, family outings, corporate team-building experiences, bachelor or bachelorette parties, and vacation add-ons. We customize our offerings to suit your specific needs.

What is the duration of your trips?

Our trips start from 3hrs up to full-day experiences, ensuring you have the flexibility to choose the duration that best suits your plans and interests.

Can I bring my own food and beverages on board?

We welcome you to bring your own food and drinks to make your voyage even more personalized.  If you would like us to handle it, we can show you a selection of catering options!  Just let us know in advance so we can accommodate your preferences.

Georgian Bay’s famous 30,000 Islands offer adventure at every turn! Experience it for yourself with tours that meander through the scenery on our spacious and comfortable Island Queen. Each excursion offers an unforgettable island adventure!

These are the tours that put the Island Queen Cruise on the map around the world. On these non-stop three-hour tours we follow in the wake of early explorers as the captain’s bring the ship surprisingly up-close to the rugged shoreline of the Bay’s remote outer islands. Passengers enjoy a captain’s eye view of these outer islands as the ship meanders into narrow channels within an eco-system so unique that it has earned World Biosphere status from the United Nations. We offer two routes for these tours, both of which travel through the famous Hole in the Wall channel and Killbear Provincial Park.  The Outer Islands Route around Parry Island, home to the Wasauksing First Nation, will be offered every day except for Tuesdays and highlights include the outer islands, the Massassauga Provincial Park, the Rose Point Swing Bridge and charming summer cottages.  The North Channel Route will be offered each Tuesday and highlights include the inner islands of the North Channel, the outer islands, spectacular views of Georgian Bay’s open water and rugged cabins and summer retreats.  Don’t forget your camera for these tours!
